In the 1929 stock market crash, the DOW lost a bit more than 45% of its value – and then rebounded about 50% off that low…only to drop to 90% off its 1929 high before it bottomed out. People were happy during the brief, post-1929 crash run up, too. Prosperity was just around the corner.
