Yet Another Incursion By the Mexican Military

From the Houston Chronicle:

A Mexican military helicopter landed Saturday afternoon at Laredo International Airport by mistake, said a spokeswoman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Mucia Dovalina, the uniform public affairs officer for the Laredo Port of Entry, said the helicopter landed about 3 p.m., but she couldn’t share details such as the number of occupants or whether they were armed.

Dovalina said that, following protocol, CBP officers checked out the helicopter’s occupants, then allowed them to return to Mexico in the aircraft.

“The only thing that I can tell you is that they did land here,” she said. “It was by mistake. They were processed and they were returned to Mexico.”…

We seem to be getting a lot of mistakes by the Mexican military…seems the poor guys can’t tell north from south and often find themselves on our side of the border.  The airport, itself, is two or three miles north of the Mexican border…which is, of course, the Rio Grande river..one does wonder how the pilot missed that in the old landmarks?  Not like the river moves around a lot…unless this was the pilot’s first flight – and he didn’t have a compass – I’m mighty suspicious of this “mistake”.

My concern is that these incursions of the Mexican military are actually to assist the criminal element in Mexico – basically challenging our forces to stay out of the way so that the drug cartels can gain de-facto control of the ground.  The next time a Mexican military force crosses, we should hold the men and the materials until we’ve had a chance to thoroughly investigate the matter…and we should insist upon compensation from the Mexican government for the violation of our national sovereignty (yes, we do have that…just like all other nations, we really do have a right to keep foreign military forces out of our nation).

Enough is enough, already…time to let the Mexicans know there is a border, and they can’t cross it without our permission.

Whenever I think of sophisticated plans of daring do I always come back to the Mexican military, snort.

Hint: It isn’t called Laredo International Airport because Lufthansa is landing there. The Quetzalcoatl International Airport in Nuevo Laredo is 3 miles away BTW.

As for the Rio Grande, it might be just a trickle or less in the Laredo region.

Do you have google earth barstool. It’s not exactly a trickle. And there are numerous bridges, which would also be a strong indicator, right?

      • bardolf August 8, 2011 / 4:21 pm

        Clueless

No the bridges are a strong indicator that there exist times when the river is high.

You do know that there are dams up and down the Rio Grande right? That it is slowed to a trickle at various points at various times of the year, right? You do know that google earth uses images from the past right?

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rio_Grande_Project

You do know that having a sense of humor is allowed even for conservatives right?

      • Amazona August 8, 2011 / 11:42 pm

And seeing bridges over a nearly dry river bed would not be enough of a hint, you see. No, the only way to tell that the river bed and the bridges indicate the presence of an actual RIVER is if there is a dolf-determined amount of water flowing in said streambed.

Perhaps on Planet Dolf, they do dot bridges around willy-nilly, irrespective of the presence of rivers, which could easily lead to confusion about why, exactly, THESE bridges are in THIS place. Is it a river? Or just a random bridge drop?

        So hard to tell………

I’ll go slow. Mark wrote “the Rio Grande river..one does wonder how the pilot missed that in the old landmarks.” If the river isn’t there or is scant one could easily miss it. Of course bridges go over things besides rivers in Dolf land.

        @Mark

A mistake seems the most plausible explanation given the info. You seem to believe the Mexican military has a chutzpah I’ve never witnessed. You think it goes all the way to the TOP? Maybe Obama is involved?

      bardolf,

I know what Las Vegas looks like from the sky…and I can tell where it ends and “not Las Vegas” begins…and I’m not a pilot. I ain’t buying this story of a mistake.

The Rio Grande is most certainly not a trickle! Not only that, but the Laredo Airport isn’t sitting right on the border either, and having been to Laredo many time (I have family there), I can tell you that it looks nothing like it’s sister city across the river.

I find it VERY hard to believe that this helicopter landed in Laredo by accident.

barstool is a contrarian. If Mark said the sky was blue, barstool would find a reason to argue with him.

Once-mighty Rio Grande is trickle when it reaches Gulf of Mexico

        August 2001

        U.S. Water News Online

BOCA CHICA STATE PARK, Texas — The once-mighty Rio Grande is so tapped out it doesn’t even reach the Gulf of Mexico anymore.

I said MIGHT because I don’t know how it is around Laredo TX today. But it is possible that it is a trickle based on observations near Santa Fe NM and the above link.

NOW how about a good conspiracy theory?

      • neocon1 August 8, 2011 / 5:06 pm

        baldork

did you get that from stormfront??

      • bardolf August 8, 2011 / 5:18 pm

        Neoconehead

You should know about stormfront! Actually even your own racial conspiracies work against you. B4V reported something from El Paso TX where there was a shooting of a Border Patrol agent, last year I think, where some people were crossing the Rio without even getting wet. Because in El Paso the Rio Grande is less than a trickle.

How about we meet at the Sun Bowl sometime and investigate it together?

      • Amazona August 8, 2011 / 11:44 pm

…and then claim it was a joke, simply not grasped by the “uninitiated”.

You know, high-nose adobe tower ‘humor’, tee hee titter titter.

        Or, as dolf prefers, ‘snort’.

      • bardolf August 9, 2011 / 12:25 am

        Amazona

I’m not joking that the Rio Grande is at a trickle in much of the Southwest. Also B4V did push a story about Border Agents being shot in a no man’s land where the Rio Grande has almost no water.

Anyone taking this ‘incursion’ as something more than a mistake belongs to the tinfoil league. For someone who is high on a horse you seem to have a trigger finger with the accusations of being out of touch. Again, if you wanted to live in the adobe tower you should have worked harder in college.

neo, for once why don’t you just shut your trap? why do you find it necessary to respond to EVERY comment? You get so flippin old with your goofy, immature and childish responses.

Why do you feel the need to respond to Neo? Does he get your gord there? That aught tell you something….

“Enough is enough, already…time to let the Mexicans know there is a border, and they can’t cross it without our permission.” Would not this hypocritical of us now. I mean what are there here in the U.S.? Some 14 to 20 million illeagles? Could we just not arrest them for possesing firearms without the proper Identification, confiscate thier weapons and and ammo and just send back?
If we did that the atf would have an endless supply of weapons to sell to mexican drug gangs. See. Who says I am always Mr. Negativity?

      • neocon1 August 8, 2011 / 7:41 pm

Welcome to Blogs for Victory. For English press 1. 😦

    • Green Mountain Boy August 9, 2011 / 12:21 am

Casper. I was not commenting on the number of illegals in this country. I was trying to help the bams adiminstration with thier “drugs for guns” program. If mexican military personel keep crossing our border we can confiscate thier guns and have the ATF sell back to mexican drug gangs. See a self sustaining gunwalker program. Heck the ATF might even be able to make a profit out of it.
Just stay away from the border . Well away.

  5. Amazona August 8, 2011 / 11:48 pm

And there goes dolf again, talking about mens’ backsides. If it’s not fantasies about the Speaker of the House, it’s dwelling on who will do what to some other man’s backside.

Really, dolf, keep it at home, OK?

Far be it for me to critisize anyone for hijacking a thread Bardolf but is there a point to this video? By all accounts and you can correct me if I am wrong, this woman died just like she lived. Patheticlly.

The point is Amazona needs rehab. Her obsession over the sexual predilections of RRL posters is in need of psychological treatment.

      • Bodie August 9, 2011 / 12:56 pm

“Her obsession over the sexual predilections of RRL posters is in need of psychological treatment.”

This is true, but it should also be pointed out that neocon is much, much worse. His obsession with gays–as well as his rich fantasy life in which pretty much everybody he doesn’t like is gay, up to and including Obama–says an awful lot about him. Perhaps he needs some one-on-one time with Marcus Bachmann.
