Global Warming Hoax Update

From Climate Depot:

Nobel prize winner for physics in 1973 Dr. Ivar Giaever resigned as a Fellow from the American Physical Society (APS) on September 13, 2011 in disgust over the group’s promotion of man-made global warming fears…

…Giaever announced his resignation from APS was due to the group’s belief in man-made global warming fears. Giaever explained in his email to APS: “In the APS it is ok to discuss whether the mass of the proton changes over time and how a multi-universe behaves, but the evidence of global warming is incontrovertible? The claim (how can you measure the average temperature of the whole earth for a whole year?) is that the temperature has changed from ~288.0 to ~288.8 degree Kelvin in about 150 years, which (if true) means to me is that the temperature has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this ‘warming’ period.”…

I know, I know – our liberals will swiftly discover that Giaever is just a shill for Big Energy, or some such…never mind facts and logic; Al Gore says anthropogenic global warming is true, and so it must be…

But, it isn’t.  If the world is warming, then it is almost certainly not primarily caused by human CO2 emissions.  Additionally, if it is warming there is no conclusive evidence that it will be a net detriment to life on earth.  The whole thing of global warming is a double-edged scam…for leftists to gain political power in the name of saving the planet, and for con artists like Gore to make bags of money.  That is it – never has been anything else, never will be anything else.

Oh by the way I am not claiming anything. You can be as vulger and insulting as you want. Makes no difference to me. Isnt it about time to change your screen name again?

Cory, you have to understand Thomas. Insults and vulgarity are what awaits you if you ever disagree with him. He constantly says he wants to debate people but then just makes pronouncements and dictates. You are fine if you agree with him but should you ever disagree , well you see what he types here.

He claims to be smart, yet he hardly ever backs that up with any real action. So when I ignore or mock him it just gets him going more and more one the anger track.

      tommyturban-corky = Trolls

I have posted from several scientists and sites refuting AGW.
lil corky is stuck on a single article, yet refutes nothing, She just blabbers on every other post with opinions of a useful idiot produced from the short bus of public education.
      corky = a forker?

Discover Interview Sun’s Shifts May Cause Global Warming

His studies show that natural variations in the sun plays a major role in global warming.
        by Marion Long

From the July 2007 issue; published online June 25, 2007

Most leading climate experts don’t agree with Henrik Svensmark, the 49-year-old director of the Center for Sun-Climate Research at the Danish National Space Center in Copenhagen. In fact, he has taken a lot of blows for proposing that solar activity and cosmic rays are instrumental in determining the warming (and cooling) of Earth. His studies show that cosmic rays trigger cloud formation, suggesting that a high level of solar activity—which suppresses the flow of cosmic rays striking the atmosphere—could result in fewer clouds and a warmer planet. This, Svensmark contends, could account for most of the warming during the last century. Does this mean that carbon dioxide is less important than we’ve been led to believe? Yes, he says, but how much less is impossible to know because climate models are so limited.

There is probably no greater scientific heresy today than questioning the warming role of CO2, especially in the wake of the report issued by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). That report warned that nations must cut back on greenhouse gas emissions, and insisted that “unless drastic action is taken . . . millions of poor people will suffer from hunger, thirst, floods, and disease.” As astrophysicist ?Eugene Parker, the discoverer of solar wind, writes in the foreword to Svensmark’s new book, The Chilling Stars: A New Theory of Climate Change, “Global warming has become a political issue both in government and in the scientific community. The scientific lines have been drawn by ‘eminent’ scientists, and an important new idea is an unwelcome intruder. It upsets the established orthodoxy.”

The Soviet Union collapse and the communist join the greenie movement. Certainly not a coinincidence? Anything to redistribute the wealth, to themselves.

A Congressman was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when he turned to her and said, ‘Let’s talk. I’ve heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.’

The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the total stranger, ‘What would you like to talk about?’

‘Oh, I don’t know,’ said the congressman. ‘How about global warming or universal health care’, and he smiles smugly.

OK, ‘ she said. ‘Those could be interesting topics. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff – grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?’

The legislator, visibly surprised by the little girl’s intelligence, thinks about it and says, ‘Hmmm, I have no idea.’

To which the little girl replies, ‘Do you really feel qualified to discuss global warming or universal health care when you don’t know sh!t?

In 2007, 71% of Americans believed his story on man-made global warming. That number is down to 44% today and falling fast. In a desperate bid to regain momentum, the mega-church of Gore is launching the Climate Reality Project, a 24-hour telethon in 24 time zones. To spread the word and remove doubt. Gore says it’s time to “reveal the deniers.” Sounds kind of like the Inquisition, doesn’t it?

Follow the money: The global warming movement is big business. When you consider all the government support for green energy projects and useless carbon reduction initiatives, we’re talking many billions of dollars.

Many predict Gore will become the first carbon billionaire. Try to remember that when you consider forking over $289 per ticket at his speech in Canada next month. Here are some of the inconvenient truths Al Swaggart Gore won’t be offering:

        1) Climate changes, always has, always will.

        2) Global temperatures haven’t gone up in 15 years.

        3) Real scientists are speaking up — 1,000 of them united in a paper presented in Cancun refuting Gore’s gospel.

        4) NASA now predicts 30 years of global cooling.

        5) The East Antarctic ice cap, which holds 90% of the world’s ice, is expanding.

        6) CERN, in Geneva, now endorses the latest research that the sun is responsible for climate change, not your car.

A story can only take you so far. An orator can only keep a balloon inflated with his hot air for so long before it deflates
