230,000 Shovel Ready Jobs!

If, that is, what you want is manure to be shoveled – from Hot Air:

The president has found a way to add jobs, after all — 230,000 of ‘em, all within the Environmental Protection Agency. That’s the number of new bureaucrats the federal government will need to hire to implement new proposed greenhouse gas regulations…

The cost would be $21 billion a year for these extra bureaucrats.  And here’s the real kicker – they would be setting about the enforcement of greenhouse gas rules the EPA does not have statutory authority to enforce.  Cool, huh?  230,000 more government drones costing us more money and enforcing laws which are created not just at the whim of the President, but at the whim of any one of the 230,000 bureaucrats.  Liberal fascism is a wonderful thing, ain’t it?

Once again – 2012 will be a pivotal election.  We’ll decide, probably for good, whether America survives and thrives, or starts to die.

There are a large number of governmental agencies which are run by presidential appointees. These appointees must be approved of by congress. What happens when the Congress and the President are all on the same party line is that the vast bureaucratic ship of state turns towards a direction that looks a lot like a centralization of power and a primary dominion. These are things which the founders of America sought to avoid.

Neocon1, you have linked to that same dumb picture of Obama dozens of times, you are guilty of multple post. If you would read MSMII’s post and go to the link you would see he is on the same side you say you are on. You need to read and think instead of just striking out because you guess someone might have a different opinion when you don;t even know

According to jeffy, jobs from these regulations won’t be destroyed just redistributed.

So I guess its okay if 230000 jobs are sucked out of the private sector.

Those who lost those jobs will think otherwise.

        Ill take STUPIDITY

Sources needing operating permits would jump from 14,700 to 6.1 million as a result of application of Title V to greenhouse gases, a 400-fold increase. … Hiring the 230,000 full-time employees necessary to produce the 1.4 billion work hours required to address the actual increase in permitting functions would result in an increase in the Title V administration costs of $21 billion per year.

        “reading COMPREHENSION problem?
        or
        STUPIDITY?”

I’ll go with stupidity on your part, as you’re the only person on this blog dumber than tiredoflibbs. Let me help you out: The EPA is actively trying to avoid hiring 230,000 regulators. That’s what the story is all about.

But you’re too dumb to understand any of this. That’s what makes you such a good conservative.
