ObAMATEUR had his A$$ covered. If it worked he, of course, would claim credit – which he has. And predictably, if it failed, the Admiral would have taken the blame.
Hey, obAMATEUR needed some “victory” for his administration, which is the only reason he went for it. Look at his other decisions concerning terrorists and terrorism, uh excuse me “freedom fighters” in their “man-caused disasters”. He fumbled the economy, the recovery and almost everything else. Now, it comes to light that his so called “gutsy call” was pure unadulterated BS (not to mention it took 18 hours to make the decision in the first place).
The desperation from the White House is getting thick. But leave it to obAMATEUR to politicize the actions of our brave men and women who carried out the dangerous attack while he sat in a conference room watching the feed. He, then takes full credit and the narrative is written on his “gutsy call” while all along he had his a$$ covered if the raid failed and he played politics with the lives of our soldiers.
Pathetic.

Every disaster on race relations from commenting on Trayvon to the cop in Boston is 100% Obama. Appointing tax cheats in just about every position is 100% Obama. Going after states where medical marijuana is legal is 100% Obama. Promising to close GITMO is 100% Obama. Free trade deal with Columbia is 100% Obama failure.
Not to Obama.
But bard, listening to obAMATEUR, it is not his fault – it is some nefarious external force or other “evil” individual and not him.

Soon after the OBL raid, I heard an interview with someone who was part of the planning and in the White House during the actual mission. I don’t remember who it was. But he said that, first, they had known for quite some time where OBL was hiding out, but Obama would not pull the trigger. Hillary and the Pentagon finally laid down the law, due to something they had learned, and put the pressure on him, and he finally, reluctantly, gave in and said OK to the mission. Then he left the room and got cornered by Valerie Jarrett, who clearly read him the riot act—think of the photo of him and the AZ governor.
He came back and said “no go” and they had to start over. This went on for a while, back-and-forth, till he was informed that the mission was already on, This is why he had that look on his face in that photo, and why Jarrett was so ticked off at him.
According to this account, he was called back to the White House to be asked to OK the mission which was already planned out and ready for an OK. He stalled and dithered and fretted and was clearly afraid to go against Jarrett, who was seen in the hallway being quite demonstrative in her discussions with him.
But the mission shuold be credited to the military leaders and Hillary Clinton, who pushed for it so strongly while Barry dithered and got taken to the woodshed by his handler.

I heard that same account Amazona, and Panetta was also a very strong advocate for the mission. In fact I believe they said it was Panetta that ultimately green lighted the operation because he was tired of waiting for Obama who was listening to intently to Jarret.
Not only that, but the Navy had control of the Somalia pirate shootings, too. When he saw a gun pointed at the head of the captured captain of the commercial vessel, the captain of the Navy vessel ordered fire. He did not call the presient and ask him what he thought.
Obama got credit for that “gutsy” call, too, though prior to this he had been pussy-footing around the pirate problem.
There was a claim, later, that because the incident was not part of a war, the Navy captain did not have that authority, and had to wait for the President to give him permission, but that is not so.
