Obama Ad: Romney Wouldn’t Order Osama Raid

Hmmmmmm….. very interesting claim.

Now for some reality:

ObAMATEUR had his A$$ covered.  If it worked he, of course, would claim credit – which he has.  And predictably, if it failed, the Admiral would have taken the blame.

Hey, obAMATEUR needed some “victory” for his administration, which is the only reason he went for it. Look at his other decisions concerning terrorists and terrorism, uh excuse me “freedom fighters” in their “man-caused disasters”. He fumbled the economy, the recovery and almost everything else.  Now, it comes to light that his so called “gutsy call” was pure unadulterated BS (not to mention it took 18 hours to make the decision in the first place).

The desperation from the White House is getting thick.  But leave it to obAMATEUR to politicize the actions of our brave men and women who carried out the dangerous attack while he sat in a conference room watching the feed. He, then takes full credit and the narrative is written on his “gutsy call” while all along he had his a$$ covered if the raid failed and he played politics with the lives of our soldiers.

ObAMATEUR Criticized Clinton for Using Bin Laden to Score Political Points

And I am sure his actions against Romney is something totally different.  I am sure his spokes-idiots will squirm around this question if the repeaters errrr…. reporters have the guts to ask him about this blatant hypocrisy.  Speaking of spokesidiot, it seems one is adept at spin and damage control to the pResidents blatant lies and hypocrisies, with at little lying on his own.

Nothing surprises me anymore……. but as I said before, obAMATEUR has very little positive record to run on.

So the Admiral would have taken the blame for a botched raid, and Bush takes the blame for everything else. Sounds about right.

Cluster, that begs the question, is there anything negative that’s happened in the last 39 months that has been Obama’s fault?

      • bardolf April 27, 2012 / 1:52 pm

Afghan troop increase is 100% Obama fault. End of many of the good space programs is 100% Obama. Obamacare is 100% Obama. Every disaster on race relations from commenting on Trayvon to the cop in Boston is 100% Obama. Appointing tax cheats in just about every position is 100% Obama. Going after states where medical marijuana is legal is 100% Obama. Promising to close GITMO is 100% Obama. Free trade deal with Columbia is 100% Obama failure.

        Not to Obama.

      • tiredoflibbs April 27, 2012 / 2:41 pm

But bard, listening to obAMATEUR, it is not his fault – it is some nefarious external force or other “evil” individual and not him.

is there anything negative that’s happened in the last 39 months that has been Obama’s fault?

More importantly, if, God forbid, Obama should be reelected and things don’t get better, does there come a point where EVERYTHING is his fault?

    Found this over at Lucianne

Thought I’d attempt a creative exercise on the topic of Obama the demagogue rallying troops to his cause. Remember Longfellow’s celebrated (and lengthy) ”Song of Hiawatha” from your schooldays? (Over fifty, you may. You probably had to memorize part of it.) Here’s an abbreviated parody:

    Song of Demagogia

From the mansion near the river
    Where the Sage of Monticello
    And the Great Emancipator
Served the people, saved the nation,
Sounds a call for civil discord
    In the service of ambition
From a man whose God is power,
    And his name is Demagogia.

    Gathering Storm

To the banner flock his minions:
    Come the Teamsters, the Acornas,
Come the NOWsers and the OWSers,
Come the KosKids and the Panthers,
    All the factions so enchanted
By the whimsies of the Leader
Who wants naught but boundless warrant,
    Constitution notwithstanding.

    Marching Orders

    Demagogia tells his vassals
That the one arrayed against him
    Is ignoble, quite unworthy,
And must not be given quarter
    When the battle is enjoined.
”Lay aside all thoughts of mercy:
Smear his people, smear their children,
Plough and salt the ground they walk on.”

In the cities, in the hamlets,
Over air waves, on the WorldWide,
    Campaigns combat, hot and savage,
    Demagogia at the forefront,
So much riding on the outcome,
    Which determines if his tenure
Is a dream cut short by waking.
    Or a nightmare neverending.

    In November, morning after,
    Demagogia stands defeated,
Burning at the loss he’s suffered,
Casts a baleful eye about him,
    Smiles grimly, mutters darkly:
”Now I leave, but not forever.
    Like the Phoenix, rising, rising
From the flame pit, from the ashes. . . .”

well it looks like this is the ONLY thing that he can run on. Bin Laden is dead. yipee. maybe we could use his blood to put in our gas tanks. maybe his death will bring back millions of jobs lost.

forget that the intel came from the enhanced interrogations that he railed against, or that he had to be dragged off of the golf course. and i bet you won’t see the photo of him looking like the smallest man in the room when they were watching the action unfold…

Gotta give king putt the first his chops on this one. It got him off the golf course. That is a major accomplishment in itself.

    Now back to the links.

Soon after the OBL raid, I heard an interview with someone who was part of the planning and in the White House during the actual mission. I don’t remember who it was. But he said that, first, they had known for quite some time where OBL was hiding out, but Obama would not pull the trigger. Hillary and the Pentagon finally laid down the law, due to something they had learned, and put the pressure on him, and he finally, reluctantly, gave in and said OK to the mission. Then he left the room and got cornered by Valerie Jarrett, who clearly read him the riot act—think of the photo of him and the AZ governor.

He came back and said “no go” and they had to start over. This went on for a while, back-and-forth, till he was informed that the mission was already on, This is why he had that look on his face in that photo, and why Jarrett was so ticked off at him.

According to this account, he was called back to the White House to be asked to OK the mission which was already planned out and ready for an OK. He stalled and dithered and fretted and was clearly afraid to go against Jarrett, who was seen in the hallway being quite demonstrative in her discussions with him.

But the mission shuold be credited to the military leaders and Hillary Clinton, who pushed for it so strongly while Barry dithered and got taken to the woodshed by his handler.

A while back I came up with an idea for a campaign ad, which I think I posted here. Anyway, I emailed it to the Romney campaign yesterday.

GOP Osama Bin Laden TV Ad

You see Obama (a look-alike) standing on the tee getting ready to hit his drive. A black suburban screeches up and a Secret Service guy get out and says, “Mr. President, the Bin Laden op is going down. Would you like to be in the photo op?” “Do I have time to finish my round,” says Obama. The SS agent grabs a sat phone from the Suburban, calls the stealth chopper hovering over Bin Laden’s compound and asks if the President has time to finish his golf round. The chopper pilot is laughing so hard he crashes the chopper into the wall of the compound. The Secret Service agent mumbles something under his breath that sounds like “Oh, (expletive deleted) and turns to Obama and says “No, Mr. President, we need to go now”. The ad closes with the famous photo of the Situation Room with Obama slouched in his chair, still in his golf jacket.

OOH you mean the one of the “CIC” NOT saluting the American flag? and his best buddy standing on a US flag?
some how they got deleted….too provocative I guess.

I heard that same account Amazona, and Panetta was also a very strong advocate for the mission. In fact I believe they said it was Panetta that ultimately green lighted the operation because he was tired of waiting for Obama who was listening to intently to Jarret.

Not only that, but the Navy had control of the Somalia pirate shootings, too. When he saw a gun pointed at the head of the captured captain of the commercial vessel, the captain of the Navy vessel ordered fire. He did not call the presient and ask him what he thought.

Obama got credit for that “gutsy” call, too, though prior to this he had been pussy-footing around the pirate problem.

There was a claim, later, that because the incident was not part of a war, the Navy captain did not have that authority, and had to wait for the President to give him permission, but that is not so.
