What In The Hell Is Wrong With Liberals!

Liberals of all varieties have gone completely off the rails as of late. From Ellen Barkin, to Samuel Jackson, to elected representatives Nina Turner and Harry Reid, to the entire MSNBC network, liberals have lost their minds. They have become the most deceitful, hateful and vitriolic people on the planet, and I hope the American voter is taking notice. Contrast that with people like Romney, Ryan, & Rubio who are stand up gentleman and choose to argue on policy not personality. Folks, it is time that conservatives bring back civility, common sense, and American exceptionalism. Even though these words were spoken more than 30 years ago, they ring truer today than ever before. The great American that spoke this wisdom that we should heed today was Ronald Wilson Reagan:

“If no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among among us has the capacity to govern someone else.” … “It is not my intention to do away with government, it is rather to make it work”

I implore everyone, especially the liberals, to watch and absorb this message. This is the type of leader we need now, and the type of leader that I pray and hope Romney will be, because the democratic party and the progressives have not only failed on that front but more importantly they are abdicating their responsibilities of governance.

Hope Romney becomes Reagan? Us liberals have been hoping Obama would become as progressive as Reagan. Immunity for immigrants? Nope. Raise capital gains taxes to ordinary income so the banksters pay what working stiffs pay? Nope. Raise gas tax like Reagan’s $3.3 billion hike? Nope. Fight like Reagan did against the Briggs Initiative for real gay rights employment protection? A little, but not with as much enthusiasm as Ronnie. Gun sanity something like the Brady Act of 1987 (defeated by NRA lobbying at first)? Nothing even close (of course, it’s a secret agenda item of the O Admin Take II).

Romney=Reagan? Good luck with THAT bit of “hope n change.”

      Bozo,

So you’re really disappointed with Obama, eh? Still gonna vote for him, though, right? Why?

      • bozo August 28, 2012 / 9:58 pm

Bozo, what you just posted was maniacal, diabolical and beyond the pale. You are a very disturbed individual

      • bozo August 29, 2012 / 12:31 am

He asked. I answered honestly. Guess that doesn’t play here.

Here, I’ll try again: because I’m a stupid liberal.

There. That should pass the censors.

      • tiredoflibbs August 29, 2012 / 5:49 am

creepy assclown: “I’m a stupid liberal.
There. That should pass the censors.”

Of course, the truth is always allowed here. In your case, a blind squirrel occasionally gets a nut.

      • Cluster August 29, 2012 / 7:59 am

        Bozo,

It really isn’t your fault. Your head is so full of garbage you haven’t the ability to determine what is honest or not.

They have become the most deceitful, hateful and vitriolic people on the planet

Go hang out in the Fox Nation comments section for a bit – you’ll find hateful vitriol there to match the most excessive liberal utterances.

    • Cluster August 28, 2012 / 9:23 pm

      Patriot,
I gave you examples of what I spoke of so I would think that the very least you could do is provide some your own. Would that be too much to ask?

      Bozo,
I don’t think you will find many conservatives that support corporate bail outs, that’s purely a big government thing. And what’s ironic about you is that you rail against big corporations but support big government obviously oblivious to the fact that they are one in the same.

Secondly it’s was amnesty not immunity and that was done as a deal with Tip O’Neil and with democrats to secure the border, which was never done, and just another democrat lie.

And obviously you believe another lie Obama told you. Allow me to give you a much needed education:

Reagan, who lowered the cap-gains tax from 28 percent to 20 percent in his first term, actually wanted to lower it to 17.5 percent in his second term. The way the story ended, the final tax bill had two brackets of 15 percent and 28 percent, with substantial base-broadening and loophole-closing. Indeed, by slashing the top income-tax rate from 70 percent all the way to 28 percent, Reagan launched a huge prosperity boom that basically spanned three decades.

      http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/296001/obama-s-misleading-reagan-reference-larry-kudlow

      You’re welcome

      • bozo August 28, 2012 / 10:25 pm

Kudlow, that bastion of unbiased editorializing. “Reagan actually wanted” – funny! “The way the story ended” – capital gains at 28%, same as income. But if you don’t say it – it didn’t happen! Priceless! “Basically spanned three decades” – and invented the internet! Why not? Gore certainly didn’t.

Kudlow, who after reading in the Wall Street Journal that TARP banksters spent YOUR money on personal jet-setting vacations said “I think it’s great because I want to stimulate the economy, I want to help the resorts. … I’m glad the CEOs are going around. I just wish they’d take me with them.”

Are you just not capable of understanding Reagan raised taxes in seven of his eight year presidency? Base-broadening is a euphemism for raising taxes on the poor and even the unemployed? Excuses, excuses, sure, but the “way the story ended…”

Nope. Guess you’re not. Ok, so amnesty is nothing like immunity. completely opposite meanings. Nothing alike whatsoever.

      • Cluster August 28, 2012 / 10:41 pm

        Bozo,

You have a very disorganized mind. If you can’t wrap your mind around the fact that bringing the top marginal rate down from 70% to 28% is a tax reduction then I can’t help you. The fact is, Reagan had to work with democrats and stupid people like you so he had to compromise to get things done.

You know bozo, you’re a good example of what’s wrong with this country.

      • neocon1 August 28, 2012 / 11:17 pm

        blowzo

the truth is RR agreed to a ONE TIME amnesty and was stabbed in the back by the drunken lout tip oneal and the rest of the donks, pigs then commie pigs now.

      • tiredoflibbs August 29, 2012 / 5:54 am

Cluster, isn’t it amazing that these mindless drones would praise their pResident for compromising (in which he rarely did). Remember, his attitude was that Republicans had to “ride in the back of the bus”.

But in the same breath, criticize Reagan for being weak in his compromises where the Democrats still took the same position.

        Pathetic.

    • Retired Spook August 29, 2012 / 11:56 am

      P-Daddy,

So, do you see any common ground between your side and ours? Any areas where we can compromise?

  3. Jeremiah August 28, 2012 / 9:11 pm

    What is wrong with liberals?

    Um, bad education.

  4. Cluster August 28, 2012 / 10:00 pm

Just FYI. Arthur Davis just gave a brilliant speech and MSNBC did not televise it. They do not want the truth to come out – and the truth is that Davis is an independent black man who defected from the democrat plantation and is now energizing the conservative base with vision and passion.

    • Jeremiah August 28, 2012 / 10:02 pm

He sure did, Cluster. Mr. Davis gave a wonderful speech.

      They are tearin’ Obummer up!!!

    Great line.

that was a great line, I wonder who wrote it?

  6. Amazona August 29, 2012 / 12:06 pm

Out in the boonies, yesterday, in a car with a crappy AM antenna, I was stuck with FM country song whining and FM Liberal whining. I listened to Fresh Air on NPR, just for a taste of what the Left recycles in its bubble, and was not surprised.

The authors interviewed, though ‘led by the nose” is a better description of the “interview”, just wrote a book called “The Real Romney”. I was driving so couldn’t really take notes but I was pretty impressed by the relatively skillful interweaving of distortions and omissions and just plain lies into what could appear, at a casual hearing, to be a legitimate discussion.

I was particularly taken by the repeated assertions that Mitt Romney was in fact a very good businessman, if by “good businessman” you mean someone who was good at making money FOR PEOPLE WHO WERE ALREADY RICH!!!!

This was repeated several times, and I kept thinking, these people have to be purposely lying, purposely trying to convince other people that there is something wrong with Romney, because who could actually be stupid enough to believe, even for a fleeting moment, that the money those RICH people made—no explanation of just how they made all this extra money they obviously didn’t need—–was based on lot and lots and lots of money that OTHER people made.

That is, the owners of the companies that got enough financial help to keep them afloat, so they could eventually recoup their investments of money, time, energy and spirit and even come out ahead. And the employees of those companies, who did not lose jobs, and many of whom were able to move up in the companies that were salvaged. (You know, the Middle Management RICH.) And the people whose pension plans invested in Bain or in companies Bain rescued. And the suppliers to those companies, whose bottom lines looked a lot better when they had the business from companies that had looked like they were down and out.

I was driving along through northern Wyoming listening to this crap and wondering, were these three people actually so ignorant of the way business works that they thought the only ones who profited were the ones who invested? That is, the ALREADY RICH? Are they really so utterly stupid they are not aware of the entire structure that had to flourish to allow those RICH people to make EVEN MORE MONEY!!! ? Are they so mentally deficient that they couldn’t even comprehend the fact that every one of these businesses employed people who made money from them, provided business to other businesses who made money from them, fed into the economy on so many levels?

Or are they just liars? Purveyors of propaganda, demagogues of the Left spinning elaborate lies for the gullible……

Another of my favorite comments was the claim by one that Akins stated there are “legitimate rapes” and “illegitimate rapes”. Sorry, folks but that is an out-and-out lie. The comment, while clumsy, made it clear that he was talking about the problem of false accusations of rape being made when rape is an acceptable excuse for abortion, as opposed to actual rapes—what he clumsily called “legitimate” rapes. Clearly he meant the CLAIM was legitimate, not the rape, but the Left has no shame when it comes to spinning anything into a lie, and its minions have no brains when it comes to believing the lie.

The whole show was an embarrassment, and confirmed my belief that NPR is just a mouthpiece of the Left and should not be funded with taxpayer dollars.

Cluster, have you watched Fox News lately? A much better example of hateful, vitriolic and deceitful people on the planet.

    • Cluster August 29, 2012 / 1:22 pm

Well then please show me an example Velma.

      • Count d'Haricots August 29, 2012 / 2:38 pm

You remember Cluster, when Juan Williams called Ann Romney a “Corporate Wife” on Fox last night.

        Oh, those vitriolic conservatives.

Wait … you mean Juan Williams is a liberal dimocrat on Faux News???

      • Count d'Haricots August 29, 2012 / 2:44 pm

OK, then how about Shep Smith and his “national day of intolerance” remark about Chic-fil-A?

Shep Smith is also a liberal dimocrat on Faux News???

        This is weird!

      • Cluster August 29, 2012 / 2:49 pm

        Count,

LOL. I thought Juan’s remarks were way out of line and so did Megyn Kelly. Liberals just can’t help themselves

      • Count d'Haricots August 29, 2012 / 2:50 pm

Allright, I’ve got it; when Greta Van Susteren accused a restaurant owner of stealing from taxpayers?

        Geraldo’s comments in Iraq?

Alan Colmes hateful attack on Rick Santorum?

Oh, crap … they’re all liberal dimocrats????

      • Count d'Haricots August 29, 2012 / 3:49 pm

        This time for sure!

When Fox News is Reporting the insane ravings of Westboro Baptist Church Pastor Phelps who … happens … to … be a … registered dimocrat.

        Dammitt! ;

    Yes. Yes. Yes, & Yes.

Or was that a rhetorical question? LOL. By the way, good post.

Maybe I don’t watch the right shows, but I have never heard a Conservative say on live tv that a Downs Syndrome baby should have been aborted. Nor have I ever heard one say that Obama’s daughter should be raped by baseball players.
