The Daily Chuckle

Time for a humor thread, and who better to kick things off, than the clown in the White House:

“At some point, we’ve got to do some governing. And, certainly, we can’t keep careening from manufactured crisis to manufactured crisis.” – Barack Obama, Monday, February 25, 2013

Can’t keep going from manufactured crisis to the next?? Why not? You’ve built your entire Presidency around doing just that. I will tell you folks, you will have to keep a sense of humor over the next four years, or you might just lose your mind. There is a lot of comedic material with this White House, especially when Joe Biden is the side kick – so let’s all post the nonsense that emanates from this regime and have some laughs.

In order to “govern”, he has to START governing.

Governing does not include handing out money to special interests, making speeches, updating twitter, playing golf and going on vacation.

Let’s look at his so-called “signature legislation”, the “affordable” (to whom?) health care. He did not write it. He told Democrats what he wanted and they wrote up the 3000+ page document. His “I got bin Laden” is another joke. He just happened to be occupying the chair (after he sat in it on a forced return from the golf course). His “leadership” was not responsible for this coup. Pinetta admitted as much.

Governing is more than handing out orders. Governing is LEADING. LEADING is foreign to this man. He take credit for many things and shies away blame when necessary. He is now in overdrive trying to shy away blame for the sequestration that is coming up. This he took credit for last year in the debt limit fight. Sequestration is his and his alone. Bob Woodward already caught him in a lie. He is desperately trying to play politics rather than do what is necessary to avoid it.

How much of his stimulus, expanding entitlements, obama phones, green energy scams could he have cut in order to avoid this mess??? He already has spent the money he “raised” by raising taxes on the rich AND SPENDING CUTS are part of his “balanced approach”, but cuts are far from his approach right now.

Now is the time for politics and how he could blame the Republicans in time for the next election. What did the Democrats say before…. “Party or politics over the people”?

Some more humor – once again, from Iowahawk:

What do you call a political organization that guarantees quarterly meetings with the president for $500k? “Independent.” #DCSpeak

Anyone besides me feel we’ve really gone through the looking glass here? I think that in some respects, there was a little less insanity under Stalin…though, true enough, there were more deaths…

  3. Retired Spook February 25, 2013 / 9:21 pm

Yeah, this administration is just one big @$#^%*&! barrel of laughs. Confusing, though, as I never quite know whether to laugh or cry.

  4. Cluster February 25, 2013 / 10:11 pm

It is confusing Spook. I figured laughing is a better option than putting a gun to my head though. And Stalin did have more deaths on his hands, but Obama has four more years so don’t count him out. And re: tired’s post – does everyone realize that there is still about $200 billion of unspent 2009 stimulus money? Why don’t we use some of that to replace the $85 billion in sequestration cuts? Just another knee slapper!!

  5. Cluster February 25, 2013 / 10:33 pm

Here’s another knee slapper. After hiring David Axlerod and Robert Gibbs, MSNBC has completely abandoned any semblance of objectivity as evidenced by Christie Matthews this evening.

Chris Matthews replied, “If you’re watching, Madam Secretary, all three of us have brilliant ideas. All of us have great ideas. And I especially put myself in that group with Joan and David. We know how to do this, we’ll get you in there.”

Matthews has just admitted that he will use his role as a political commentator in any way possible to elect Hillary Clinton. Just in case you thought he might actually be, well you know, unbiased.

“Matthews has just admitted that he will use his role as a political commentator in any way possible to elect Hillary Clinton. Just in case you thought he might actually be, well you know, unbiased.”

And that is different from fox how?

      • Amazona February 26, 2013 / 3:54 am

Oh, no, not another Lefty whine about Fox!

Do you mean Fox News, which IS unbiased, though to you Lefties just talking about the things your Complicit Agenda Media cover up is proof, to you, of partisanship?

Or do you mean Fox political commentators? You know, those people who keep reminding people like you that they are OPINION people, openly, right up front.

It’s an uphill battle, as so many Americans simply lack the IQ to understand the difference, so they see Jon Stewart et al as “news” and lump everything on Fox into the same category.

        Just as you did.

      • 02casper February 26, 2013 / 7:30 pm

“Do you mean Fox News, which IS unbiased”

That’s the funniest thing said on this thread. Thanks for the laugh.

      • Amazona February 26, 2013 / 7:51 pm

The wind is out of the north today and I thought I heard a high-pitched titter blowing down from Casper way. Sure enough, ol’ cappy is getting a giggle and doubling down on his absurd yet totally predictable regurgitation of tired old Lefty whines about Fox NEWS, because it dares to talk about the things the Complicit Agenda Media ignore.

To the cappies of the world, telling it like it is IS “biased” simply because they don’t like hearing it.

cappy, tell the kids you splashed water on your pants while you were washing your hands, if you don’t want them to know how hard you laughed at the comment that while Fox COMMENTARY, on its opinion shows, is openly and candidly biased, the NEWS presented on Fox is, simply, what happened and who said what.

      • 02casper February 26, 2013 / 9:16 pm

“the NEWS presented on Fox is, simply, what happened and who said what.”

And the jokes keep on coming.

  6. 02casper February 26, 2013 / 12:14 am

Actually, if you really want humor I have this. Two men walked into a bar. The Third one ducked.

    • Cluster February 26, 2013 / 9:43 am

      Casper,

How bad do things have to get before you criticize this regime? The Predient lying about the sequester? The President selling access for $500K? The continued economic misery? Still no criticism? What will it take Cap?

Two Irishmen walked out of a bar….

    Well, it could happen…

Barack Obama walks into a bar with a duck on his head. The bartender says “Where’d you get that?”

“Damned if I know” says the duck—“it started off as a pimple on my butt.”

Michelle Obama dies and goes to Heaven (yeah, a bit of a stretch, but bear with me). She’s greeted at the pearly gates by St. Peter who offers to give her a tour. Shortly into the tour they enter a building filled with clocks of every size and description. “What’s this,” the First Lady inquires? “This is the clock room,” says St. Peter. “There’s a clock for every living and deceased president.” “Why do they not all show the same time,” asks Michelle? “Every clock started at 12:00,” says St. Peter, “and the position of the hands reflects how many lies each president has told. So you can see that George Washington’s clock shows only a few minutes past 12, and Lincoln’s clock is only a few minutes past that.” “Where’s Barack’s clock,” asks Michelle. “Oh”, says St. Peter, God’s using it in his office as a ceiling fan.”

      A JOKE jindal? ……

Louisiana Forces Homeless Shelter To Destroy $8,000 Worth Of Deer Meat

SHREVEPORT, La. (CBS Houston) — Louisiana’s State Health Department forced a homeless shelter to destroy $8,000 worth of deer meat because it was donated from a hunter organization. KTBS-TV reports that the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission lost 1,600 pounds of venison because the state’s Health Department doesn’t recognize Hunters for the Hungry, an organization that allows hunters to donate any extra game to charity. “We didn’t find anything wrong with it,” Rev. Henry Martin told KTBS. “It was processed correctly, it was packaged correctly.”

    Mr. Oblivious strikes again:

“You know, the one thing about being president is, after four years, you get pretty humble. You’d think maybe you wouldn’t but actually you become more humble–you realize what you don’t know,” Obama said. “You realize all the mistakes you made. But you also realize you can’t do things by yourself. That’s not how our system works.

    He’s embarrassing.

    • neocon01 February 26, 2013 / 4:28 pm

      He’s embarrassing.

      No, he is DANGEROUS!!

You’ve got to have the help and the goodwill of Congress, and what that means is you’ve got to make sure that constituents of members of Congress are putting some pressure on them, making sure they’re doing the right thing.”

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-you-cant-do-things-yourself_704716.html

Oh this is priceless! This man….humble? He realized what he doesn’t know? Oh, this is comedy gold!!!

He realizes the mistakes he has made? This from a man who continues to blame Bush and others for his failed policies. High unemployment and a non-existent recovery was due to kiosks, ATMs, the Arab spring and the tsunami.

Oh and the piece de resistance: “But you also realize you can’t do things by yourself. ”

Says the man who has ignored federal law, instructed his justice department to ignore federal law and has pledged dozens of times if Congress won’t act he will! He who has signed dozens of Executive Orders which bypass Congress.

Either this man is delusional or he is a very creative liar! And of course, talk like this really gets the mindless drones moving. They will be regurgitating this crap from now until the next set of dumbed down talking points is released by his ever loyal media.

We are still waiting for the other half of his balanced approach…spending cuts. We already have had tax increases. Where are the cuts?

    • Cluster February 27, 2013 / 7:48 am

You are right tired – it is comedy gold. Obama is a F#+%^ing joke!! It is amazing what that man will say, without any shame.

    • J. R. Babcock (@JRBabcock) February 27, 2013 / 8:55 am

Either this man is delusional or he is a very creative liar!

Bill Clinton was a “creative Liar”. Obama is just a plain ol’ pants-on-fire LIAR. He doesn’t even care if you know he’s lying, and when he’s caught in a lie, either he says, “I didn’t say that”, or the media (Candy Crowley anyone?) covers for him. The only surprising thing to me at this point is that there haven’t been any assassination attempts on the SOB.
