The GOP’s War on Women Continues!!!!

The pay gap between men and women continues without sign of closing – even after repeated speeches by the pResident.  The GOP still does not pay women equally to men!!!

The White House continues to pay women 88 cents for every dollar men earn….. oh wait!!!

Another sign from the pregressives, do as I say! Not as I do!

Democrats have been using the 77 cent number for as long as I can remember, along with Republicans want: women to go back to having abortions in back alleys, kids to starve, dirty air and dirty water, to steal your social security and medicare, etc.. Kinda validates the old saying, “fool me once, shame on you, fool me 37 times, shame on me.”

Yet in head-to-head comparisons, this oft-touted pay gap simply does not exist.

When you factor in willingness to put in long hours, desire to take time off to have children, need to be able to have flexible schedules to accommodate school schedules and so on, when the work is the same and the requirements are the same, women make the same as men.

Women often tend to gravitate toward lower-paying jobs such as teaching and social sciences, limiting their earning power. Some high-paying jobs, such as oil field rig work, is too physically demanding for women to do, and/or too dangerous to appeal to most women.

Women are more likely to choose college majors that offer very little in terms of eventual earnings or career development. Not a lot of openings for people with degrees in “women’s studies” or “transgendered Eskimo studies” or “how the U.S. is a big meanie hated by the world” studies. Get an accounting degree, a law degree, an M.D., and you will, as a woman, make what other accountants and lawyers and doctors make—if you play by the same rules.

What these studies show is a Leftist mentality, which is that somehow someone is OWED something, without earning it. When a woman says “I have the same degree and the same qualifications but I plan to take six years off to have a couple of children, and then will need to be able to leave no later than 3 in the afternoon to pick them up at day care, and of course I’ll have to be at home on holidays and when they are sick” she is essentially telling her boss that she will offer the company less, overall, than someone (male or female) able and willing to hop a plane on short notice to close a deal or handle an emergency, who will be able and willing to pull all-nighters when necessary to get a project finished, whose career path will be not be broken by years off.

Our CPA is part time. She made big bucks with a big national firm, but wanted a family. Not being a whiner, she understood the trade-off. She quit her job and then started her own consulting firm. She told us she could work certain days and had to leave by 3, and we said fine, because we don’t need a full-time CPA to work with our office manager. She made the trade off, she understood what she was doing, and part of her decision was to make less money to be able to do what she wants to do.

What’s funny about the administration’s rhetoric on this is that they maintain the 77% number while, at the same time, use your logic to explain why women in the WH only make 88% of what men make. It’s often said that you can’t have it both ways, but that doesn’t stop the Left from trying.

At the end of the day, the Left and 90% of the media will continue to push the war on women meme for one simple reason — it works. It’s actually a brilliant, albeit intellectually dishonest political strategy, sort of like forcing someone to admit to exactly when it was that they stopped beating their wife. How long before the majority of women catch on is anyone’s guess.

If no one is there to point out the lies, only women with the motivation to examine what they are told are going to look for themselves.

We can blame the Complicit Agenda Media all we want, and they are certainly responsible for the media blackout on any conservative message—worse, on any message of truth because they associate truth with conservatism and therefore find it necessary to suppress it—-but we still do a terrible job of even trying.

The ugly truth is that the success of the meme is 100% dependent on women being stupid. And that is the message we need to get out there. After all, a woman has to be either stupid or willfully resistant to information to fall for the bizarre claim that Republicans want to ban birth control, particularly when this is based on the ‘gotcha’ interview by political whore Stephanopoulos, who set Ryan up with his question that was really about state sovereignty but designed to be spinnable into an attack on contraception.

Let’s face it—the :Left did not get where they are today by underestimating the stupidity and gullibility of the American public.

That is why people who mindlessly buy this cramp are known as LIVs.

It will be interesting to see – because more married women are starting to see through this scam…so 2014 and 2016 may be a battle between the married and unmarried…who will prove more motivated to go to the polls?

who will prove more motivated to go to the polls?

I quit trying to understand how women think a long time ago, but my money would be on women who see the chance of their children and grandchildren living in as free and prosperous a country as they did slipping away.
