Memorial Day Open Thread

Sorry for not having this up earlier – and for not having anything interesting to write about this important day. My internet connection got some gremlins last night and I was unable to really get anything done.

At all events, do take some time today to remember our fallen – those who really did give the last, full measure of devotion to our nation. We owe our existence as a people to them and we can never repay the men and women who gave all for us.

Considering that our armed forces are comprised of “volunteers”, I would say that we owe them a little extra devotion of gratitude. God Bless all of them and I want to apologize to them for having to serve this corrupt and juvenile administration who have no common sense whatsoever as to the actual threats this country faces. I hope they hang in there until we can elect some adults to run this country.

Yes, What Cluster said. So many have sacrificed so much for the freedoms we have.
I would not want anyones son serving in these times, under this administration who has proven they have no ones back but their own, not in foreign lands or here at home. It shames us all.
……and what Reagan said…..because we’ll never hear it from this sorry excuse for a commander in chief…..a reminder of who we are.
