Trump calls out Faux-ahontas, gets her mad…but she really needs to come fully clean on her claims of Native ancestry.
Keith Olbermann has decided to call it quits on anti-Trump rants.
In case you’re keeping score, the gender wars are now up to “LGGBDTTTIQQAAP“.
Joy Behar, who some years back said she didn’t believe in God, is now saying that God is calling her to save our country.
There are reports that black Africans are being sold in slave markets in Libya – another of Hillary’s grand legacies.
Europeans are decorating anti-terror barriers for the Christmas holidays. I suggest if they’d actually become Christian and rediscover bravery, they wouldn’t need the barriers…but, that’s just me.
Leandra English, a Progressive hack holding an Obama-era sinecure at the CFPB, is suing President Trump in an attempt to prevent him from replacing her as director of the CFPB. The level of absurdity on the left just keeps growing.
One of the comments to the Don Surber post came up with a delicious new nickname – Liawatha Warren.
And more deep state Democrat corruption exposed:
Former President Barack Obama’s EPA used a social media platform to secretly promote the agency’s policies in violation of federal law
The WOTUS act was simply a 4th branch federal power grab seeking to regulate all bodies of water of all types whether it be a navigable river, or even just a small puddle. I had read accounts where farmers were prohibited from drawing from, or manipulating small pools of standing water on their own farms. I am sure Amazona has an opinion on this. Just another lawless act by Democrats ….. nothing to see here folks
http://dailycaller.com/2017/11/27/watchdogs-turned-up-more-evidence-obamas-epa-broke-federal-law/
And God Bless Sarah Huckabee Sanders who is 100% correct in asking the question – “Why did Elizabeth “pocahontas” Warren lie on her resume and claim she is Native American”. Why is that question never asked? And Joey Scarborough just said that Trump has antipathy towards anyone who is not white anglo saxon. Just another day in the racist, delusional progressive media …. nothing to see here.
I’m shocked, shocked I tell you, that there were violations of federal law occurring during the Obama Regime.
Oh look !!! The Obama’s have their own Foundation now!
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/362090-obama-to-meet-with-world-leaders
Bill & Hillary became fabulously rich with their foundation so now it’s Obama’s turn. Being a Democrat is super cool……and profitable
God help us!
Even the name of the bill – C 16, sounds Orwellian. Let’s go back to the Wild West days and start over …….
The committee head actually states that the goal of the school, or class, or whatever, is to counter the influences to which the students have been exposed prior to attending the school—-influences such as the family and religion.
i wonder if the parents are aware that they are sending their children to schools dedicated to teaching those students that everything their parents and churches have stood for, and taught them, is wrong.
And, BTW, that they should only be exposed to a single idea approved by the Central Authority.
This teacher really did a good job of defending herself, though it was clearly always a lost cause.
I know that parents have always known that when their children went off to college they would be exposed to new and different ideas, but there is a difference between that and utter absolute negation of everything they have been taught.
What happened to Canada? It used to seem so….rational.
And just so today is not completely devoid of humor.
“You’re so negative ……… no validation”. Hilarious but sadly more true than we know
This would be funnier to someone who did not spend the summer trying to get work out of two young people. Arrgghh!!!
Stunning Christmas Display. Watch the video.
Time for some comedy, and this is pure gold. Salon magazine has listed 4 reasons why Hillary Clinton should run again in 2020…….and they are:
1. Hillary Clinton is the Winston Churchill to Vladimir Putin’s Adolf Hitler.
…….the reality is that no candidate can be better described as Russia’s nemesis than Clinton. Putin has always hated Clinton because of his innate sexism, which has manifested in his policies, and she certainly didn’t endear herself to him by publicly criticizing Russian corruption in 2011. As the ample connections between the Trump campaign and Russia or its water-carriers like WikiLeaks clearly demonstrate, the one person we know we can trust more than anyone is the candidate who Putin very obviously did not want to see as America’s president.
2.Hillary Clinton being elected president (at last) would monumentally piss off misogynistic trolls, and what’s not to like about that?
3. By winning the popular vote convincingly in 2016, Hillary Clinton has earned the right to be considered the presumptive nominee in 2020.
4. We can expect her to be a good president.
Frankly, the worst thing that can be said about a potential 2020 Clinton candidacy, especially in America’s current cultural and political climate, is that her husband still hasn’t answered for the numerous sexual abuse accusations against him. While it may seem unfair for Hillary to be held accountable for Bill’s alleged predations, it can plausibly be argued that she played a role in helping him cover them up.
So Putin is afraid of Hillary, and it would make misogynists mad. Very valid reasons to vote for her, right?
Sorry—my head exploded at the very idea of comparing Hillary Clinton to Winston Churchill. After that it was mostly just noise.
Wasn’t there a time when Salon postured as an intellectual publication? When did it become a boot licking parody of itself flaunting its ignorance/dishonesty? (Take your pick, ignorant or dishonest, though they are not mutually exclusive.) Even I, a bitter clinger, was able to post a pretty detailed account of reasons for Putin to loathe the Clintons, especially Bill.
I also note (going back to that dishonest/ignorant comment) that Salon seems to think that a popular vote margin wholly dependent on only two cities in the United States qualifies as winning “convincingly”.
Do they really think no one is paying attention?
And just why, exactly, should we “expect her to be a good president”? She was an crook as the wife of the governor of Arkansas, she was an embarrassment as First Lady, she was just a placeholder as a Senator, and she was a disaster as Secretary of State.
I mean, I know the Left has very low standards, but still……..
I suggest that the worst thing about a Clinton candidacy in 2020 is the chance, no matter how slight, that she might win.
So Matt Lauer has just been fired because of one allegation of sexual impropriety. A career of over 25 years, over now because of one UNproven allegation.
THIS HAS TO STOP. NOT ALL WOMEN ARE CREDIBLE, HONEST, OR VIRTUOUS. THEY CAN BE JUST AS UNSEEMLY AS MEN.
What was that old comment about chickens coming home to roost? I wonder how many people on the Right who were smeared by these kinds of politically motivated allegations are experiencing a little sense of justice now that the weapon has been turned back on the Left.
When a Lefty cousin was accusing me (not personally, just as a conservative) of being a racist, I said “You know, black people can be a**holes, too.” That shut her up for a moment, and then she said “Yes, they can”. Same for women. Duh.
The Left started off by preaching that all women should, MUST, be believed when they say they have been assaulted. They held to that position till the accusations started flooding in about Bill Clinton. Then they shifted to things like “she’s too ugly to rape” and “this is what you get when you drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park”, sliming every accuser in the most vile and vicious way, engaging in horrible attacks of personal destruction.
Then the subject was quiet for a while, while the Left focused on egregious acts of sexual misbehavior, such as toe-tapping in an airport bathroom (while honoring a homosexual predator who had been buggering underage Congressional pages) and idolizing the adulterous alcoholic murderer Ted Kennedy, and making fun of men who choose to protect themselves and their families from vicious gossip by simply not socializing with women without their wives being present.
They dragged it out again when they needed to get rid of Roy Moore, going back to the old whine about how you have to believe every word said by every woman under any circumstance, if she claims any type or degree of sexual misconduct. That was a lot of fun for a while, till their own heroes started to be named by credible accusers. And until the very term “sexually assaulted” was tossed around so casually that these limelight-hungry women started using for pretty much anything.
There is a certain amount of poetic justice here but “allegations” now ruining careers has to stop. I am no fan of Matt Lauer and there is more coming out now about his past behavior, but this morning it was reported that one allegation was all it took to end a 25 year career – that isn’t right.
And why now? These are old allegations, so why are the standards different now?
It seems to be much worse than that in Lauer’s case…I think the whole “button which locks the door” puts it into a different light. This isn’t just boorish grabbing and suggestive language…he might wind up worse on the scale than Weinstein.
I’m no angel – really, I’m not. Heck, guys, I was a sailor once upon a time. I have been monstrously drunk and really stupid – mostly waaay back when in my misspent youth, but even today I can still make some astonishing errors. But not like this – not like these guys are apparently doing on a regular basis and everyone knows about it and no one talks. This is just flabbergasting to me.
I guess if you hate religion in general and reject the concepts of Christianity, there is no such thing as redemption.
John McCain tells Trump that saying ‘Pocahontas’ in front of Navajo code-talkers is an ‘insult to genuine American heroes’
No John, you’re wrong ….. AGAIN. What is truly an insult to Native Americans is lying about your heritage to gain advantage in employment.
John McCain – never right about anything.
Yeah, but Trump is mangling the word. As “Pocahantas” it doesn’t really make any sense. The joke is calling Warren “Fauxcahontas”.
I wonder how John would feel about a man lying about his military career and falsely claiming to have been a POW to enhance his political chances.
Funniest question asked by a news anchor — Wolf Blitzer to Dana Bash, “Have democrats lost the moral high ground on this issue?” ( sexual assault and harassment). As an arm of the Democrat Party, how could a media that has covered for serial abusers for decades ever have thought that they had the moral high ground?
That reminds me of a comment I heard a couple of weeks ago—–“Democrats measure the high ground in millimeters”.
But you are right about this being super funny. I wonder if Wolf seriously believes the Dems ever HELD “the moral high ground on this issue”. They may have seen it, far off in the distance, and even wondered what it was, or just sneered at it they way they sneer at anything to do with morality.
What it really boils down to is simply the end result of decades of moral relativism.
Re: Matt Lauer – a couple of stories have come forward now that has me wondering why he wasn’t arrested and not just fired. If the allegation is true and he has not denied it, Matt raped a woman in his office in the early 2000’s and NOTHING WAS DONE. Are you kidding me? I am certainly not a prudish man but my God, I could never imagine acting that way in front of women, and certainly not women that I employ. WOW
Re: the progressive media – we are back to square one and have come full circle with the narrative – “not all muslims are terrorists”, “we don’t want to anger the muslims”, Trump is mentally unfit for office”, blah, blah, blah, rinse and repeat.
Remember the Leftist hysteria about Tailhook? OMG !!! the shrieking, the squealing, the OUTRAGE !!!!
And then we learn that a yearly event that often gets too rowdy, when a bunch of military types drink too much, is pretty much like everyday life in Hollywood and beloved Lefty TV venues starring beloved Lefty entertainment icons.
Oh.
I think the funniest thing about watching the progressive media is that they actually think they speak for the majority.
And the best thing about Trump is that he lives rent free in their heads every hour of everyday.
Their best efforts to bring Trump down have failed, while at the same time many of their own are swirling the drain. Karma writ large!
This is by far the best analysis I’ve read of the case of Jack Phillips/Masterpiece Cake Shop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission that is about to be heard by the Supreme Court. It’s a very long essay, but well worth the read if you are concerned at all about compelled speech vs. harmed dignity.
You’re right, this is an excellent article. It touches on the legal issues in a way most don’t, and illustrates some good points.
Kurt Schlichter is really on a roll.
“Felonia von Pantsuit” ………laughing, laughing, laughing……………….
The funniest thing about the Olbermann link is the comment section where Libs thank him for “keeping them sane”.
The very idea that anyone could find Keith sane, or contributing to sanity, is so …..NUTS….it is hard to process. But then I think most people who are crazy think they aren’t (but everyone else is).
But really, folks—the man was a drooling, spitting, screeching lunatic who didn’t even try to rein it in, radiating irrational bug-eyed hate like a Liberal sunspot. Evidently that is what passes for “sane” on the Left.
Looks like Tillerson is out. Never cared for him, in part because he opened the door for gay leaders in the Boy Scouts. I was hopeful when Trump nominated him for SoS that there was a better side to him, but not from what I’ve seen.
This should outrage everyone:
Jury Finds Illegal Immigrant NOT GUILTY In Kate Steinle Murder
It’s time conservatives just take this country away from progressives. They are dangerously stupid and a present danger to themselves and the rest of us. I don’t know why we even consider them to be human anymore.
I have been involved in two jury trials in civil suits, and have come to the conclusion that there is nothing as stupid as a jury. True, in the second, the judge was so corrupt (the lawyers were having colleagues come in to watch parts of the trial, because accounts of the judge’s misdeeds sounded too bizarre to be true) and manipulated the proceedings so severely, and then instructed the jury on how to vote and reserved the right to rule from the bench if he didn’t agree with their verdict, the jury itself can’t really be blamed. But in general I have far less faith in the jury system than is so often touted, and none—-as in NONE—-in judges.
Our judicial system is so broken, it is more of a danger than a protection. As long as judges are immune from consequences for their actions, our “judicial system” is no more than an elaborate hoax created to give the illusion of justice while putting full control of outcome into the hands of judges.
We don’t know how the trial progressed, what testimony was allowed and what was not allowed, and how the judge worked to influence the outcome.
This is why I argue so strenuously for legislation making oaths of office binding. In the case I mention above, I am sure that if the judge knew that his blatant failure to honor his oath of office could result, at the very least, in being charged with violating it and very probably being removed from his job (also losing his benefits) he would have been a lot less arrogant and smug in his flouting of constitutional rights and judicial ethics. Even in a wildly Progressive area like San Francisco, there would be enough people watching activist judges and making sure they do what they promised to do, as conditions of their judicial appointments, to rein in a lot of the egregious violations of the law and of decency.
Amazona, your experience with the justice system is not unique.
Then there is the suit filed in federal court for violation of civil rights, in this case denial of due process, after a judge inserted, into an unrelated ruling, a statement that a party in a civil suit had been threatening the judge and other court personnel. That is a Class 3 or 4 felony, and there is a formal ruling by a sitting judge that the party is guilty of this crime. The complaint in the federal filing said, very clearly, that there was absolutely nothing to support the statement—no allegation made, no accusation filed, no accuser named, no example of any such threat, no content of any such threat, no date of any such threat, therefore no opportunity to defend—and the federal judge threw it out on the basis of no documentation of the claim.
Yet the total lack of documentation WAS the claim, and proof of the violation of civil rights and denial of due process. A normal person would say “Duh” but the federal judge found this reasoning to be way beyond her comprehension.
The government actions in the Bundy case are reprehensible, and may have contributed to the Trump victory. But I have always come back to the core question in a legal matter—who benefits?
Another article on the Bundy trials…
….District Court Judge Gloria Navarro, who oversaw the other two Bundy standoff participant trials this year — against defendants Eric Parker, O. Scott Drexler, Steven Stewart, Ricky Lovelien, Greg Burleson and Todd Engel, will preside over this case as well. Just as in the last two trials, Navarro has requested, and been granted, a motion in limine that prevents the defendants from talking about their First and Second Amendment rights.
………………The defense is not allowed to say the word “constitution” or talk about the BLM’s actions that caused individuals to protest.
“They are not allowed to speak about the BLM killing cattle, they are not allowed to speak about self defense in front of the jury until the judge has a hearing outside the jury’s presence about whether or not they can make that argument,”
Why? Because “…SHE BELIEVES… that the protesters were advancing, military style, on federal officials during the Bundy standoff, rather than defending themselves and the Bundy family.”
That is, the judge has made a determination of fact without benefit of a jury.
One thing I learned in my civil cases is that a judge can rule solely on the law, while matters of fact are left to a jury. So here a judge has ruled on a matter of fact, regarding the actions of the protesters, and not merely on the law. She has decided that a certain thing happened, and this is the job of a jury. The process is supposed to be that each side presents its version of an event and the JURY makes the decision about which version is fact.
This is a clear argument for making oaths of office binding. Denying 1st Amendment rights to even argue 1st Amendment rights is pretty bizarre. I can predict that if Navarro didn’t have the immunity granted to judges to provide cover for her actions, she would be running this trial in a very different way.
https://WWW.THEFENCEPOST.COM/NEWS/FALSE-START-FOR-CLIVEN-AMMON-RYAN-BUNDY-TRIAL/
So the MSNBC panelists are debating AGAIN the mental stability of Trump. How long do you think they can keep this up? They are embarrassing themselves daily. Mika actually just said that Trump “does not understand the consequences of his actions” ….. this is a guy that has built a real estate empire over the last 40 years, making good decisions and bad decisions along the way, some decisions of which resulted in him losing a lot of money, BUT according to Mika who was playing with dolls when Trump was building an empire proclaims that “he doesn’t understand his actions”….
SHE’S A JOKE
Cluster, when you float on the surface of fact and reason, as Mika does, merely providing the illusion of a real person with a real intellect while actually being nothing but a talking doll with the Left pulling the strings, you yourself don’t understand the consequences of any actions. She is a parrot.
I’d like someone to ask her to expand on this statement—-name an action and then describe its consequences. That would be like throwing a ball for my dog and then demanding that she explain how it was manufactured, delivered and sold.
Don’t you think this latest attempt (what is it, the 5th or 6th try?) to paint Trump as mentally unstable is simply a ploy to get the likely passage of the GOP tax plan off the front page? The Left is as predictable as the sun rise.
The Left plays to the most obvious weakness, and in Trump’s case it is that he so often seems irrational. I know Trump apologists claim that his tweets are intelligent on his part, sly trolling of the Left to make their heads explode, and I agree that sometimes this is what happens. But many of them make him look petty or irrational, and this plays into the Left’s need for a theme for their attacks.
I recently read a good article comparing the real Trump presidency and all its successes and smart moves with the internet Trump presidency and its bizarre qualities. It was really good, and I’ll see if I can find it. It may have been on National Review, because I remember being impressed that Trump was getting so much credit for his successes.
What i always wonder is, who ARE these “White House insiders”? More to the point, what makes them “White House insiders”? Just being inside the White House? Like the guys who run the floor polishers or clean the toilets? Funny how there is never anything to indicate any access to any real inside information,or to Trump himself.
Sometimes I think i am too hard on the left. After all, they do care about people, are concerned for this country, and just want to bring people together, right? Remember, “we are stronger together”
Well …..
Wonkette writer Evan Hurst told White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to “go f**k” herself in a profanity-ridden screed published Wednesday.
https://wonkette.com/626405/go-fuck-yourself-sarah-huckabee-sanders-you-debased-redneck-motherfucker
I think the Leftist news folks are upset that Sarah Huckabee Sanders is composed, articulate and actually answers their question, albeit with a bit of humor and seldom the answers they wanted. Truth be told, I think she hurts their feelings on a regular basis.
Evan Hurst seems concerned that people might forget how vile and low class radical Leftists are, and is dedicated to reminding us. Got it, Evan. But it’s not really necessary. We actually never get a break from it long enough to start to forget.
I think one of the things that has the Left so outraged it finds itself demanding that we look into its mind to see the sheer ugliness within (TELL US, HOW THE F**K IS IT DIFFERENT, SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS, YOU COMPLICIT PUS-FILLED WHITE TRASH SCAB ON THE TINY D**K OF DONALD TRUMP’S HUMANITY?") is the inevitable comparison of Conservative women to Liberal women. After all, it must take a massive insult to Liberals to nudge them into such strange and depraved imagery, so carefully crafted to be as ugly and disgusting as possible and providing such a window into its remarkably distasteful soul. (As for me, my response is not to be offended but just to go “eeuuww” regarding Hurst. Ick.) And the “insult” is the awareness of the vast difference between decent, honest, intelligent, attractive, coherent, classy women and the foul-mouthed vulgar harpies of the Left.
True, it’s a self-inflicted wound, but it has to sting.
We have Sarah Huckabee. They have Ashley Judd. We have Melania Trump. They have had Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton. Ouch upon ouch upon ouch. If they would just go off and whimper in a corner in shame, I might feel sorry for them.
But their response is to prove how wide that gulf is, by being as low-class as possible at the highest possible volume. (That quote from Hurst’s screeching screed was written in all caps, just in case someone might not realize the depth of outrage it took to generate this kind of elaborate genitalia-oriented insanity.)
And there is Sarah—calm, collected, coherent, articulate, polite, well informed, intelligent, funny and immune to the shrieking insanity of the Left.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is FANTASTIC.
And re: Flynn lying to FBI. Since when is lying to the FBI a crime? James Comey told us as much when he exonerated Hillary.
The sad thing is that it’s NOT illegal for the FBI to lie to YOU in order to trick you into committing a process crime, ie., lying to them.
If you are ever detained by the police, it should go like this:
“Am I free to leave?”.
If the answer is, “yes”, then leave without saying anything. If the answer is “no”, then your next words must be:
“I want a lawyer”.
And then shut the heck up. Say not one word. The police have not brought you in because they think you didn’t do anything wrong – they are pretty much convinced you did, and what they’d love is for you to end up confessing, or at least to trip you up in something which can at least be cast as a lie in court.
A person who is guilty: why give them any help in convicting you?
A person who is innocent: their case will almost certainly fall apart at trial, or before.
And even if you are innocent, say nothing, and get railroaded – it still will be less bad if you keep your trap shut.
To me, of course, we need massive reform – one of the first reforms must be an absolute prohibition on the police and prosecutors saying anything which is untrue, even by accident. Even an accidental lie by police and prosecutors should result, at the minimum, in the loss of employment, and in egregious cases, prosecution.
Second thing is that if the police or prosecutors falsify or hide evidence, jail must be required for them.
Third thing is a law requiring all relevant facts be brought into court – no suppression of evidence. If its germane, in it goes. Whether it is plus or minus for either side – the jury must know about it.
Fourth thing, a law to instruct all juries that it is they who are in charge – they can convict, or not convict, as their good sense informs them.
Too bad Flynn didn’t just invoke the “Hillary Rule.”
The FBI is a partisan joke and Mueller is a the head clown. The DNC destroyed cell phones and servers to avoid the FBI, and Hillary admittedly lied to them on several occasions, yet these were not considered prosecutable or even indictable according to second clown James Comey.
MSNBC has right now on their chryon (I think that’s what it is) scroll on the bottom of the screen”
“Flynn’s plea deal “very, very, very bad” according to one expert.”
THAT’S 3 VERY’S ……..WOW IT MUST BE BAD
Mark, to your list I would add a Fifth Thing. That is, that judges are not immune from examination and possible prosecution for judicial misconduct. A certain level and kind of immunity is necessary for an impartial judiciary, but knowing that there will be no penalty for even egregious examples of judicial misconduct means judges can act any way they want, backed by the full power of the law, nearly without restrictions.
Related to Amazona’s query about the Article V Convention of States, Former Senator Tom Coburn, who is deeply involved in the COS movement, addressed the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee last year about what’s coming because they are not willing to do their jobs.
Only in America.
And I read that Lauer’s attorney laid down a mild threat as well – “give Lauer $30 million, or else …”
hmmmmm ……I wonder what kind of dirt Lauer has on other NBC execs?
They must have known about the locking button…and there are probably others doing the same sort of thing he was.
Doubling down on stupid. A federal judge’s ruling leaves Trump’s pick in place for the top position of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, but Ms. English is seeking an injunction against this.
Supposedly the Senate now has the votes to pass the tax overhaul. Even with the changes made to bring in the few remaining (R) holdouts, I’m guessing this will be a considerable boost to taxpayers, businesses and Trump. I particularly like the part where the AHA mandate will be squelched.
The fall of an empire. When a law making institution can create laws to prosecute its citizens for rape and sexual harassment, while at the same time provide secret tax payer funds to shield themselves from the same, one can see the foundation of that empire crumble.
