With Kavanaugh, We’ve Reached the Crisis

So, the Michael Avenatti, the day after claiming (in a legally deniable way) that Kavanaugh was a vile beast, has taken his Twitter account private. He claims it was because of Trump trolls…but, he’s been dealing with that for a year. I’ll leave everyone to judge for themselves the matter.

That was just a small thing in the overall Kavanaugh story, of course: more important is the fact that the accusations keep getting worse while also getting more flimsy. And the shrieking SJW left is shrieking ever louder. They are convinced that Kavanaugh is a drunken, serial rapist (I’m not kidding: I’ve read their comments). Meanwhile, Cocaine Mitch and The Donald are standing firm…and word is that even the GOP squishes (with the possible exception of Flake) are getting outraged over this mess. I sure know that I am. Yeah, I’m a veteran…but I’m not a tough guy. In fact, I’m just about un-tough. I’m a pretty calm and relaxed person who is broadly tolerant of all human frailties, because I am fully aware of my own failures. But, man oh man, am I fit to be tied, now. I’ve never been so angry. A howling mob of SJW fascists chased Ted Cruz and his wife out of restaurant last night…Cruz, given his position, could do no other than flee.

I will never flee.

Lost in the shuffle is that reality isn’t matching up to DNC/MSM Narratives. It isn’t just things like the Gallup poll which shows the GOP more popular than the Democrats (you know how I feel about polls): but it’s also things like CNN being low-rated; Michael Moore’s anti-Trump hit job “documentary” failing at the box office; the RNC being flush with cash while the DNC is effectively bankrupt. I’m suspecting that part of the reason the Democrats turned it up to 11 on Kavanaugh (and it was the Democrat leadership, not the base, leading the way here) is because their own estimates of their November chances are looking bad…and they are firing up the base to get them to vote. A party on the cusp of winning takes a calm, middle-of-the-road line to pull in all wavering voters…a party afraid of being blown out acts like the world is coming to an end.

I don’t know how the rest of this week is going to go – I’m highly doubtful that Ford will testify on Thursday. Unless she can come up with someone or something to verify her story, she’d look a complete idiot testifying in front of the Senate on national TV. And if she’s not telling the truth – and I don’t think she is – she’ll open herself up to legal jeopardy. But, we’ll see: maybe she does play her hand out to the end? Stranger things have happened. I was getting doubtful about Kavanaugh’s chances a couple days ago, but not I’m starting to have confidence return. But, in the end, even if a few GOPers knife us in the back over this, I think that more and more people are coming to realize that the Democrats must be kept out of power…they are completely irresponsible and will wreck the nation to spite Trump, if given the chance.

It is very, very sad what we’re seeing – the Democrats, by inviting the SJW left into politics, have injected a poison into the body politic we’ll be a long time getting rid of. Our job, as patriots, is to stand firm…and vote like your life depended on it. Because it does.

And because the Russia collusion narrative is falling apart. They need a distraction.

And Avenatti is the poster child for progressive scum and he alone could bring about a huge GOP victory in November. Keep talking Michael – we are all very interested in what scary conspiracy you will conjure up next ….

Rumor, now, is that Avenatti was taken in by a 4Chan troll…who claims to have convinced Avenatti that he/she was a Kavanaugh accuser. Don’t know if its true – but, God, I hope it is!

      • M. Noonan September 25, 2018 / 3:04 pm

Ace has the details of the claimed 4Chan con…which, he points out, is now a “credible allegation” which Avenatti must disprove.

      • Cluster September 25, 2018 / 4:02 pm

Oh please, oh please, oh please ……..

I would love to see Avenatti charged with slander

I wouldn’t be too bad if someone knocked all his teeth out. I can’t help it, folks, I just can’t stand joker’s like Avenatti.

News like this doesn’t portend a blue wave.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Forty-five percent of Americans now have a favorable view of the Republican Party, a nine-point gain from last September’s 36%. It is the party’s most positive image since it registered 47% in January 2011, shortly after taking control of the House in the 2010 midterm elections. Forty-four percent give the Democratic Party a favorable rating.

    • M. Noonan September 25, 2018 / 3:00 pm

We’ll all see soon enough – and, hey, if the American people think that the Democrats are the sensible party who will bring us peace, freedom and prosperity, then that is who they will vote for…and get. I happen to think it unlikely that anyone is looking at the Democrats and going, “these are the guys I want”.

I’m sure there are “some” who are saying that, just nowhere near a majority.

I absolutely love listening to failed liberals critique Trump/ Yea, I am talking about you David Ignatius and the rest of MSNBC. Trump is 10x as successful as you all are, has achieved more positive foreign policy results in 2 years than you David have in 20, and he stands up to daily criticism that would crush any one of these emotionally fragile panelists. Equally fun is watching the “men” on MSNBC cower to Mika’s tirades. Mika just claimed that GOP men do not know how to treat women because McConnell referred to the lady hired to question the lying Ms. Ford as an “assistant”. That’s what outraged Mika this morning ……. she’s a sensitive little thing.

Trump is out of your league folks, you know it and that’s what drives you nuts. Just admit that you are inferior and your life will be better off.

A good example of Democrats double standards:

“Keith Ellison is being investigated by the party that endorsed his candidacy after multiple allegations of domestic violence. Any claim that this is an independent investigation is laughable,” Wardlow said.

Ellison is wanting to be the top law enforcement official in MN. Shouldn’t these allegations be taken more seriously?? /sarc

    Trump at the UN yesterday:

“We will never surrender America’s sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable global bureaucracy,” he said. “America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism.”

And that is why he is President. More importantly, it’s why Hillary and other Democrats are not president. They will gleefully sell this country down the road.

It is highly unlikely Ms. Ford will appear before the Senate committee tomorrow, or if she does it will only be to make a statement and leave. No way she faces questioning, especially a female defense attorney who handles sex abuse accusation cases. I’d bet a month’s income on it. This however will not stop Ford from continuing to screech about unfair treatment, or uncaring Republicans demeaning women. The left will continue to use her until the next unprovable crisis is ready to deploy.

    • M. Noonan September 26, 2018 / 8:19 pm

Now we’re up to four – an anonymous claim about someone who wishes to remain anonymous. But, it also appears the kooks are coming out of the woodwork and Senate Judiciary is fielding calls from all manner of people who are claiming this, that and the other thing about Kavanaugh…like when a serial killer is on the loose and every nutbag in town is calling the cops about it.

      • M. Noonan September 26, 2018 / 9:37 pm

I’m hearing we’re now up to five accusers…starting to wonder when Kavanaugh had time for anything else.

    Great article:

“It’s an oppression Olympics,” Rubin told me. “The more marginalized you claim to be, the more political clout you have on campus or in left-wing circles… If you have a limp, you’re this much oppressed; if you’re a Jew, this much oppressed; Muslim, this much oppressed. Everyone wants to be oppressed.”

    • Retired Spook September 26, 2018 / 11:06 am

Great minds think alike. I almost linked to the same article.

      My favorite part:

The more people Rubin interviewed, the more he became convinced something was missing in the left’s picture of the world.

“I realized not everyone that (the left) disagreed with could be a racist and a bigot and a homophobe and a sexist. That was the argument constantly being laid out. If a Republican gave a speech and said, ‘We should lower taxes,’ their answer was, ‘he’s racist’. Now that actually makes no sense.” (emphasis – mine)

Rubin now considers himself a classical liberal. That means he believes in liberalism roughly as it was before today’s liberals added big government to the philosophy and subtracted belief in individual freedom. “If you believe in the individual, then you fundamentally understand that individuals are different, so you are willing to sit down with someone different than you,” says Rubin. (emphasis – mine)

    When getting your way by electing politicians the honest way doesn’t work;

1.) Lie, cheat and stuff the ballot box to steal elections.
2.) When that fails, buy up the media and engage in every kind of fake new & slander against the opposition, regardless of the ramifications to America and her citizens.
3.) When failing to get politicians into office on the national level, elect politicians at the state and local level willing work to enact any damaging policy possible, even if it is known to be unconstitutional.
4.) When that fails, get activist judiciary nominated to bypass congressional mandates and the constitution itself.
5.) When that doesn’t work, employ every shady tactic available, even if you have to make things up to slander your opponent & bypass the judiciary process for determining guilt or innocence. All opponents are deemed guilty with the burden of proof, even though the details of the accusation are so flimsy or non-existent as to make it impossible to defend oneself against.
6.) Use all inside government resources to undermine the administration.
7.) When that doesn’t work harass, riot, incite violence & rage of every kind, to the point where the opposition and anyone known to support them, are fearful of being in public and fearful of the safety of their family, loved ones & homes.
8.) Deem any action is taken against those rioting and acting out in violence, as oppression of truth and justice Depict anyone with a gun, even police & military, as dangerous thugs always out to shut down the minority.
9.) Push for open boarders and voting rights for violent criminals to show sympathy for the oppressed.
10.) Push for free health care, education, and all the modern conveniences to show you care and the opposition is against minorities and the down trodden.
11.) Blame all the worlds ills on the opposition, even every kind of natural disaster, making up all kinds of falsified studies, especially with, distorted, hidden or non-existing data.
12.) Create all kinds of malicious examples & documents to smear your opponent. Threaten anyone who act on the opponent’s behalf.
13.) Utilize all publicity whores willing to sell their soul for 15 minutes of fame, especially Hollywood & sports figures, who will advance your message.
14.) Buy off anyone or any company to use in incriminating the opponent of any crime. In cases where’s it’s not actually a crime, scream and yell to give the appearance of one.
15.) Exploit the use of any foreign entity including the UN, willing to undermine or compromise the USA.
16.) List all policies, practices and philosophies of the opposition as destructive, exorbitant, demeanin, or any other negative annotation that can be applied.
17.) Advance globalism to aid in the removal of sovereign government control and place that control in unelected bureaucrats.

The left is losing ground and will use any evil trick they can to reestablish their power. Guess we’ll see within the next few elections if the general population is catching on to these divisive schemes and understand, should the left regain power, anyone who does not fall in line and adhere to the strict subdued policies of the far left, WILL be subject to their wrath & destructive whims.

    • jdge1 September 26, 2018 / 1:12 pm

And the worst offense – remove God and everything associated with Him, along with the family core. Someone has to be in charge. As long as these 2 entities exist the left will be challenged to command charge of all things.

Avenatti’s client, Julie Swetnick, claims that she attended not just one, but several parties where women were drugged with spiked drinks and then raped by scores of boys.

And she didn’t report it ???? Doesn’t this make her complicit? I think she should be investigated first and possibly indicted.

And mayhap the Third Accuser was found by someone going through their rolodex:

Roughly a decade ago, Ms. Swetnick was involved in a dispute with her former employer, New York Life Insurance Co., over a sexual-harassment complaint she filed, according to people familiar with the matter. Representing her in the complaint was the firm run by Debra Katz, the lawyer currently representing Dr. Ford. The company ultimately reached a financial settlement with Ms. Swetnick, the people said.

You know there’s an old saying, and you all know it “you can’t yell fire, fire in a crowded theatre when there is no fire”, you can get in trouble for that.

Well, the same goes for these crackpot, dipstick liberals in Washington. They should be held accountable for their actions
… ALL of them. They all need to be in jail.

The only reason they are doing this is to force their authoritarian politics on America. This should make people so mad. Schumer is a dipstick for George asoros, what is wrong with New York?

It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 or 1,000 women, if all 1,000 came forward…From 1 – 1,000 they’re all lying….It’s they’re agenda…They wan’t your money, it’s all about killing the unborn, it’s all about the homosexual lifestyle, it’s all about the drugs and open borders, destroy the family and disarming America so they can CONTROL you…Dictate how much you can create, how much you can eat or drink, whether you LIVE or DIE.

Let’s go in November like a D11 Cat dozer and shove all that left-wing mess out of there. Enough this farce!

This is the end for Kavanaugh. Not because I believe this accusation (I don’t), but because it was passed on to the committee by Republican Cory Gardner. When Republicans are passing on things like this, you are done.

Three questions I would like to hear today for Ms. Ford:

    22. Say, at any time, did Future Justice Kavanaugh suggest that you put some ice on that?

    23. Did Future Justice Kavanaugh slap you around like a Democrat congressman from Minnesota?

    24. Did Future Justice Kavanaugh drive hammered and leave you to drown in an Oldsmobile?

I don’t think the woman is mentally stable. She admits to be confused often, can’t remember dates or times from even a month ago, and admitted crying before taking a “stressful” polygraph test which consisted of all of two questions.

      • Retired Spook September 27, 2018 / 1:29 pm

Rachel Mitchell, the sex crimes prosecutor questioning Ms. Ford on behalf of the 11 GOP members of the Judiciary Committee is laying out a methodical portrait of Ms. Ford, catching her in a number of inconsistencies. The Dems on the committee, OTOH, are nothing more than cheerleaders for Ms. Ford.

I missed the middle part of the questioning and testimony while I was outside talking to a landscaper. I heard Mitchell ask who paid for the polygraph (Ford didn’t know), but I didn’t hear her ask who paid for her legal team. That would have been one of my first questions.

I’ve heard nothing that leads me to believe that this whole thing is nothing more than a carefully choreographed charade, beginning with the paper trail laid with the therapist in 2012 when Kavanaugh was on Romney’s SCOTUS short list to the Dems holding the allegations till the 11th hour, right before the confirmation vote. All of the witnesses named by Ford, including one of her life-long best friends, have signed affidavits under penalty of perjury denying any knowledge of the event in question. No part of this passes even the most basic smell test.

Jaunita Broaddrick is at the Senate today for the Kavanaugh hearing.

She tells The Daily Caller, “I have twenty times more evidence for my rape by Bill Clinton than Dr. Ford has against Kavanaugh. Democrats turned their backs on me. All women are to be believed as long as they’re not conservatives — and as long as the assault was not done by Democrats.”

  15. Retired Spook September 27, 2018 / 2:10 pm

I don’t know if the Brett Kavanaugh that spoke with Martha MacCallum a couple nights ago was just sandbagging the Dems, but the man who is giving his opening statement sounds like the fighter we had hoped he would be. The aspect of his life that keeps coming back to me is that he had and has many close friends who are women, many dating back to high school. A couple hundred of them have come forward as character witnesses, and not one of them knows him as a man who would do what he is accused of.
