In the Virginia election last week the GOP got more votes, State-wide, for House and Senate than the Democrats did. The Democrats narrowly won both chambers – ultimately in the crucial districts by just 3,000 or so votes – because of the Democrat gerrymander of the districts. But this shows that Virginia isn’t quite as Blue as we’ve been led to believe. Can’t do much about the district lines until after 2030 and then only if we have at least one of the legislative houses, but I think the votes show that Virginia may yet be in play for 2024.

Of note, the Democrats went nuclear on abortion in Virginia and the national GOP did nothing about it. The national GOP seems determined to let the Democrats win on the abortion issue and then blame pro-Lifers for the losses. This is probably a means of undermining the Populist impulse in the GOP. Make no mistake about it, most of the GOP leadership wants to return to a Romney-like GOP. They don’t like Trump, but they also don’t like DeSantis. Their candidate for 2024 now that Scott has thrown in the towel is Haley. And if they don’t get the candidate they want, they’ll do everything they can to undercut the overall GOP effort in 2024 as much as they did in 2022 and 2020. I do believe that this is because a lot of our leadership is compromised – either directly or indirectly. The Democrats own them. It will be a grind over the next ten years or so to get rid of these people and replace them with people who are on our side.

In Pennsylvania the switch to the GOP continues. The Democrat voter registration advantage stands at about 445k; it was 916k back in 2016. This is an earthquake that just hasn’t quite happened yet. The State is trending Red but is still controlled by Blue. Democrats had thought their new auto-registration system would right the ship but all its done is produce even more GOP voters. The Democrats are now committing massive funds to register voters for 2024 because they do see the writing on the wall. One of these days, regardless of how “fortified” they make the elections, you’re going to see a Red Wave in Pennsylvania.

October 7th has been memory-holed by the Left. They don’t even mention it any longer. No surprise as any mention of it now just brings up that it is abundantly proven that Hamas committed savagery that would have made Attila the Hun blush. But it isn’t just expedience that has done this on the Left – they are very proud of Hamas, after all – it is just that right now their only goal is to make what Israel is doing look bad and make it appear, the longer time goes on, as if it happened in a vacuum. They will keep putting (fake) pictures of Gazan dead up on social media to get Pudding Brain’s people to increase the pressure on Israel to quit. Survival of Hamas is at stake here – and the Left wants Hamas to survive. They don’t just want a repeat of 10/7, they want 10/7 on steroids (apparently Hamas had a much more ambitious plan to also paraglide in from the West Bank but didn’t have the resources to pull that off. This time). But they have a problem – more and more Israelis are seeing the evidence of what Hamas did and they seem to be getting determined to see an end to Hamas, at least in Gaza. There aren’t a lot of voices in Israel right now calling on the IDF to quit. That might come some day, but not any time soon.

Among the dead from 10/7 was a Canadian peace activist lady. From what I read, she’s been in Israel for decades “working for peace”. Naturally, Hamas murdered her. You do wonder if at the last moment she realized her error? We’ll never know – but I will say the hard pill to swallow: of the people of the West, nobody is more responsible for the existence of Hamas and other groups of savages than “peace activists”. They are not good people. They are not wise people. They are not merciful people. They are narcissistic cowards who preen themselves on their moral superiority over the people who fight barbarians to keep them at bay. They are almost invariably white and rich. And for 60 to 70 years these people have stopped the West from squashing the barbarians…so now we’ve got more barbarians in the West than any time since the fall of Rome.

The majority of the United States Government no longer work for the American people. There is little room for doubt that Mayorkas is not only the most incompetent Secretary in history, but possibly the most dishonest as well. His actions alone have resulted in thousands of deaths, rapes, family separation, inner city crime, drug overdoses, etc., etc, and yet the House votes to let him continue. The American government priorities are all fucked up

One, Ken Buck from Colorado, has already said he won’t be running again, and seems intent on flipping off his constituents as much as possible in the meantime. He’s gone through some weird personality change and would have been primaried if he hadn’t already quit. He seems to be quite a Liz Cheney fan and since her political suicide he’s been very contrary.

Not long ago I posted about a video I saw on the Gutfeld! show about people supporting Hamas who backed off when told what Hamas really stands for. I finally found the video. It’s short but an example of what happens when people who support a cause or movement without knowing what it really stands for are faced with reality. (We see this here, when the resident trolls get all big mad when we point out that the system they support through their blog vandalism is all about consolidation of power in the hands of a few elites, whose imposition of their own agendas has always resulted in economic misery, general oppression and often mass murder.)

The march for Israel yesterday was an excellent example of decent people peacefully having their voices heard. No masks concealing their identity, no violence, no destruction, no defacing of public property … contrast that with Forty’s friends who have recently destroyed public property, burnt flags, were loud, obnoxious, and oh yea, calling for the extermination of Jews.

And then these little ignorant progressive fucks get all indignant and claim victimhood when they are confronted on their violent antics. Democrats have become the worst example of what mankind offers. Narcissistic, immoral, cowardly, assholes. And weak Democrats should never challenge any MAGA person to a fight because they will accept your challenge. Guaranteed. O’Brien found that out yesterday.

I’m remembering the Antifa “tough guy” who had been throwing rocks and frozen water bottles at police who fell down sobbing when arrested. The sight of him lying there in a nearly fetal position crying like a baby summed up, for me, the depth of courage of these mob bullies who have to run in packs and hide behind masks to pretend to be men.

The PLO has been chanting “from river to sea” for decades claiming they have been illegally occupied and constantly provoking Israel. Well now they have the war they’ve always wanted and yet they are playing the victims, calling for cease fires. I challenged an admitted Muslim on twitter yesterday about this fact and I received no response. Why wouldn’t the Palestinians want this fight???

In a related story, Teamster union hack Sean O’Brien has been waging a twitter war with GOP Senator Mullin, calling out the former MMA fighter to a fight, well yesterday he got his chance and he hid behind an 80 year old man.

The annoying thing with Leftists, is that they seldom want to actually fight the fights they provoke.

    • Retired Spook's avatar Retired Spook November 15, 2023 / 11:23 am

The vast majority of Leftists may be cowards but they’ve learned well how to use government to do their dirty work.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 15, 2023 / 12:51 pm

I just don’t know why they wouldn’t welcome the fight based on past actions. When you repeatedly chant “from river to sea” and teach your kids to hate Jews, don’t be surprised, and don’t play victim when they come for you.

And this can be said for American Democrats who have repeatedly called their fellow citizens extremists and a threat to the country, absent any such evidence, so don’t play victim, and don’t act surprised when you’re called out. This is the very definition of what a coward is.

It needs to be repeated here that a gang of black kids attacked and killed a white kid in Las Vegas recently, and not a word is being said. Change the races of the kids involved, and this is a 24/7 national media story. Now you know why we hate them

    • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 15, 2023 / 1:10 pm

And “provoke” is the key word here. Israel didn’t just wake up one morning and think “This looks like a good day to attack Gaza”. It took the savage brutality of cowardly ambushes of innocent civilians, including women and children, to prompt a retaliation.

And now there is much whining and sniveling about the retaliation.

Maybe we should send Hamas a version of my bear sign: What does not kill you makes you stronger. Except for bears. Bears will kill you. SO DON’T POKE THE BEAR!

Ah, yes…”equity”. Which is….what? The mouthbreathers think this is the same thing as “equality”, which is like really really important to them. Well, except for equal right to life of all human beings even when they haven’t been born yet, or equal treatment of Jews, or equal tolerance of religion, etc. As Orwell’s pigs pointed out, “all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others” which is the credo of the Left.

So now they play a little semantic shell game, shuffling “equity” in to replace “equality” knowing that their braindead masses won’t see or understand the difference.

Gotta love this from Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly slams ‘parents of all these losers’ as Gen-Zers share vile videos of Osama bin Laden’s 2002 ‘Letter to America’: ‘You were likely boozing, marching for some left-wing cause and/or simply ignoring your kids’

And it’s not just the parents Megyn, it’s the teachers. School age kids in America today are politically charged, and academically ignorant, and that fact doesn’t bode well for the future. We have to eliminate teacher unions

So this muthafucka had classified docs in several unsecured locations, had a drug addicted son living in the home where some docs were found, and had unsecured classified documents dating back to when he was a Senator BUT ….

Biden NOT expected to face criminal charges for mishandling classified documents – after 11 month investigation that included an interview with son Hunter and hundreds of aides

Trump on the other hand, who had some documents from when he was President, which were all secured in one locked room at MAL and under Secret Service watch … is being charged. And Democrat voters think there’s nothing wrong with this. America is no longer the country we all grew up in, just FYI

There is a real possibility that the Democrat party will fracture soon. Their far left base has become uncontrollable and violent and have been emboldened to the point moderate Democrats are afraid to confront them. I think we need to encourage this. Do your part by telling Democrat activists that they are right, and they should keep pushing. I do that on Xitter (hat tip to Amazona)

I wonder if anyone has done an analysis on a 2024 election with half a dozen tickets. I have read that an RFK Jr. ticket would pull more Republicans than Democrats, which I find hard to believe—he doesn’t offer Republicans anything but more “I’m not Trump” along with “No Covid vaxx”.

        But say there are:

        Top ticket—Biden ? And ?
        RFK Jr and ?
        Joe Manchin and Mitt Romney
        Jill Stein and ?
Somebody else I can’t remember who says he is running
        Donald Trump and ?

Could anyone pull 270 electoral votes?

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 17, 2023 / 11:46 am

        Trump/DeSantis

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 17, 2023 / 11:58 am

I don’t see that. For one thing Trump would have to move back to NY or somewhere. There used to be a law, when the president and vice president got separate votes in the Electoral College, that they had to be from different states. I don’t know if some version of that law is still in place. But politically speaking the practice has been to have a wider range of geographic origins, usually based on needing the votes of a particular state (usually a large one) so choosing a VP from that state. That’s why LBJ was on the Kennedy ticket—Kennedy needed Texas and by extension the Southwest.

For another, I don’t see DeSantis as a vice president, and two alpha males would not be a good idea anyway. If the president (Trump) could handle the perceived competition from another alpha it might work but he needs either another empty suit like Pence or a woman.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 17, 2023 / 3:28 pm

I don’t see it either but it’s the right ticket. That way DeSantis has an easier path in 2028 and continues the momentum for another 8 years.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 17, 2023 / 4:24 pm

Sometimes a dramatic lateral shift is what is needed, to throw people off balance. Trumpers are going to vote for Trump no matter what. People who are ideologues more than Identity Politics slaves will have to vote for him because he is the closest we are going to get to reestablishing the Constitution. I have such a hard time imagining anyone voting FOR Biden, but I suppose there are a few who truly believe he has done a good job and can continue to do so. RFK will draw from an anti-vaxx cult on one hand and people looking for a Lib who is not Biden on the other. Manchin might get some moderate Dems and I can’t see much support for Romney.

So what happens if the vote is so divided that no one gets 270 in the E.C.? It goes to the House. HOWEVER, it boils down to one element that is Trump and all the rest who are not, who can then band together and throw all their votes in one pot, so to speak.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 17, 2023 / 7:16 pm

I can’t say I am advocating for a Gabbard VP choice, just tossing the idea out there because it can be interesting to ponder different solutions and approaches to a problem, even if some of them are kind of silly.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 17, 2023 / 11:47 am

        Or Trump/Kristi Noem

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 17, 2023 / 12:00 pm

That’s a possibility. I always liked a DeSantis/Noem ticket—two young, energetic and successful governors from widely different parts of the country, bringing different perspectives to the executive branch. She could probably work with Trump. More to the point, he could probably work with her.

It has struck me that it might be a political stroke of genius (or stupidity) for Trump to run with Tulsi Gabbard. She’s an independent, as far as official political affiliation goes, pretty moderate, and she’s Liberal, but at least she’s smart about it and most of all might make it easier for some Dems to vote for him. She’s very charismatic and photogenic, and would be less likely to try to run for president in 2028 unless she was wildly popular and changed her affiliation, and even then she would be up against DeSantis for the nomination. There would be the danger that something would happen to Trump, putting another Lib in the Oval Office, but at least it would be a better Lib than any running on the Dem side. She seems to be only moderately ambitious—she did do a brief run at the Dem nomination a few years ago but I think that was more of a reaction to the terrible weaknesses on their side than real desire to be president.

Given the ability of a president to dictate the scope of the VP’s authority and work, Trump could make any VP more of a figurehead than an actual active partner, and she would do very well in dealing with VIPs, going to conferences, etc. when she was expected to toe the party line.

I’m just thinking of a way to bleed off a little more Dem support.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 17, 2023 / 3:29 pm

Gabbard is interesting. I really like her and she needs to have a role somewhere.
