As per usual, celebrities are lining up to make their “I’m leaving” statements if the GOPer wins – in this case, its still all about Trump but we remember it from past elections. So far, Madonna, Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen have said they’re out if Trump wins. If only. Just one, little vote and we end the long, national nightmare of Born to Run? Sign me up!
The trouble is they never follow through, do they? They stay. And that is a monstrous injustice! Why do they think we vote GOP?
Speaking of the GOP: we do note that the Democrats impeached Trump multiple times and so far all we’ve got out of the GOP House majority is a couple toothless hearings. Some people do figure we could win the White House next year and lose the House. It wouldn’t surprise me if that happened: the GOP has given us no reason to vote GOP down ballot. Heck, in the recent budget deal all they did was cancel some unspent Covid money…they didn’t defund a single aspect of Pudding Brain’s weaponization of government. And there went the new Speaker’s resolve that we won’t have omnibus bills…just about the first he did was pass an omnibus bill. They don’t understand: we don’t want any of it. Just shut it down. We don’t care! Sure, the MSM will have a heart-attack…but we don’t watch the MSM so we wouldn’t even notice. The number of votes we might lose over a shut down are tiny compared to the number gained by having the shut down. But, they don’t see it. Gonna take years to clear out the GOP deadwood.
I guess that in Florida for your government shakedown operation (ie, government employee union) to be certified for bargaining, 60% of the workers have to belong to the union. Now, its been decades since the Supreme Court ruled that you can’t compel union membership but for the most part this has been calmly ignored and various dirty means have been used to keep government employees in the Union. But in Florida, the ability to leave the union has now been enshrined in law and there’s a government which actually enforces that law…and it looks like the teacher’s union in Florida has or will very soon fall below that 60% threshold. In other words, there won’t be a union for the government to deal with in education. Can you imagine the sorts of reforms which will be possible once you have that barnacle scraped off? My prediction: if the GOP shows some guts and retains control in Florida for another ten years, then the Ivy League will be finished as the only place in America to get really first-rate education will be Florida and any other Red States where the GOP has the courage to reform education.
And we do have to get on that education thing. Over the past few days the latest Tik Tok craze has been for youngsters to read Bin Laden’s Letter to America and then they react positively to it and are all, “this is legitimate resistance”. First thing to keep in mind is that a 20 year old college kid was born after 9/11. Time marches on! The rising generation has no memory of that day. My guess is that the Tik Tok craze is a Sino-Iranian intelligence op; they’re trying to undermine American support for Israel. By far, Iran values Hezbollah more than Hamas but it would be a major blow to Iranian prestige if Hamas is wiped out. There is simply nothing Iran can do directly because of distance and the fact that Israel almost certainly has nuclear-armed subs off the coast of Iran right now. But they’ve got to do something – and that “something” is get a ceasefire before the IDF clears Gaza.
Our problem is not the op, but that it is working. Our youth are so astonishingly ignorant that a screed – actually written by a renegade American college kid who converted to Islam and joined al-Qaeda – by a psychopath is considered good. As jokester David Burge put it on X, wait until the kids find out about this vegetarian former art school student who’s anti-Zionist tome ignited a world movement! Our kids are so ignorant they are falling for the most elementary propaganda…and propaganda in favor of anti-human evil. If we don’t fix this then if a real war comes, we’ll find at least a significant portion of our youth will believe the enemy rather than America.
But even beyond that, keep in mind that affirmative action doesn’t just end at some point. You have to affirmative-action them into school. And then into a degree. And then into a job. We’ve seen again and again highly credentialed Pudding Brain judicial nominees fail to correctly answer basic legal questions. We’re seeing doctors who assert that masks will stop a virus. On and on like that – if the education was at least engineering plus commie propaganda it would be bad, but not necessarily fatal…but the education is nothing but commie propaganda. They don’t know anything, really. And they are now starting to be placed in charge. We need a crop of our youth who actually know what they’re doing.
But, do keep in mind, if the Red States start to churn out first class doctors and engineers that won’t do the trick. The USSR could educate excellent engineers…who were then put under the thumb of party hacks. They were arrested as “wreckers” when the hacks loused everything up. It will be like that here in America if we don’t start enacting laws to put some teeth into civil rights. Laws which expressly prohibit law enforcement from doing certain things. Laws which punish oath-breakers. On and on like that.
As for the war in Gaza, the IDF is being very methodical in its approach – this is to keep casualties low; both IDF and Gazan. I worry this isn’t the way to do it. I’ve always favored celerity of movement in warfare. The longer it takes the more imponderables start to have their way. Of course, the IDF isn’t going to call me for advice and I do wish them success…but I worry that if this starts to take too long not only will global pressure for a ceasefire increase, but we may start to see domestic Israeli pressure grow to call it off.

Everything in this country is at an untenable stage … mortgage rates, inflation, open border, two war fronts, and an aging, demented, and corrupt president who is attacking, indicting, and imprisoning political rivals. Never thought I would see this country in such horrible shape. This is the precipice that many conservatives have spoke of over the years. We either restore the country in the 12 – 24 months, or it’s over.
The same movement that is responsible for this plunge into decay is the one howling that Trump will be responsible for “the end of democracy”.
This silly comment always prompts a question in my mind. That, of course, is “HOW?” In what way would a Trump presidency harm “democracy”? He was president for four years and never did a single thing to threaten “democracy”.
Just how can “democracy” be threatened, anyway? What would it take to end it? Seriously—if you wanted to “end democracy” what would you do? Basically, this would require a complete shift in how we choose our officials, taking away the ability to elect them through voting and putting a single entity in charge of making those decisions for us.
When we look at it that way, the best example of a threat to democracy was the 2020 presidential election, when the people were stripped of their ability to to choose their own president. And suddenly we are once again seeing the Left’s tactic of accusing others of what they themselves are doing, writ large.
Donald Trump never did a single thing to interfere with the ability of Americans to choose their own president. In fact, he asked the country, and Congress, to examine the best example of some other entity doing that very thing, and for that he and the people who stood up for democracy have been persecuted—which takes us to another threat to democracy, that of a massively powerful State using its might to crush opposition.
This is what comes into my mind every single time I hear anyone fretting that a Trump presidency would “end democracy”. These people, by the way, seem quite comfortable with the efforts to interfere with democracy by trying to use the government to keep the people from voting for whom they want to vote. They don’t see THAT as a “threat to democracy” as they cheer the J6 hearing, the state efforts like the one in Colorado to just keep Trump off the ballot, the avalanche of lawfare trying to bury him under sham indictments based on wildly distorted interpretations of law, etc.
In other words, every single time any person whines that Trump represents a “threat to democracy” that person is proving himself or herself to be so massively hypocritical the only rational response is contempt. Unless this person first addresses the threats to democracy actually going on right now, in his or her face, instead of some imaginary hypothetical outcome in the future, the only appropriate response is scorn.
And yes that applies to Joe Manchin, as well as to empty-headed celebrities and Leftist politicians We can laugh at them, sneer at them, but what we should be doing is challenging them to explain HOW Trump is or would be “a threat to democracy”. Just remember, though—these are the mouthbreathers who defined exercising First Amendment rights to petition the government for redress of wrongs as a “threat to democracy”.

Democrats have become a very real threat to this country
The Left has ALWAYS been a threat to our country, or tried to be. They are a threat now because they outsmarted us, not engaging in a head-on attack but cleverly undermining our foundations by slowly taking over our entire educational system and our federal agencies and our various media.
Do you know what ranchers do when we find a nest of rattlesnakes? We pour gasoline on it and toss in a match. The fear of the Left (and it is a very real fear) is that a President Trump will do the political equivalent when put back in office, which is why they are fighting so desperately to keep him away from the fuel and the fire.
Everything is a lie in this country. There is not one bit of truth to any of the current narratives, Jan 6 of course being one ..
But also, climate change, systemic racism, Covid, saving democracy, Gaza occupation, etc … those are all intentional and deliberate lies designed to enflame the ignorant base and sow discord. This MUST stop.

Where does Hamas get its funding? A Middle East Forum investigation published in the Focus on Western Islam documents over $260 million donated to Hamas-aligned 501(c)3, tax-exempt charitable organizations. The US government also funds some of the groups with direct, in-your-face ties to US-designated terror organizations. For instance, American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) works closely with the Unlimited Friends Association, is aligned with senior Hamas leaders, and advocates killing Jews.
UFA often hosts events to sponsor “the families of martyrs and prisoners.” These events include collaboration with prominent Hamas figures such as Mustafa Sawwaf, who calls “Israel’s disappearance … a necessity [according to] the Koran”; as well as Mohamed Abu-Shkian, a senior Hamas leader who praises the “strikes of the mujahideen” and leads events in Gaza lionizing slain terrorist operatives.
On its social media, UFA encourages violent hatred against Jews, publishing posts on its official Facebook page promising to “free Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif from the filth of the most dirty Jews.”
Yet, ANERA is a regular recipient of US grants.
When (if ever) we seriously address our budget concerns, at the top of the list of items to cut should be grants to groups like this, to puppy-torturing and cat-torturing “research”, to a CDC that won’t investigate deadly pathogens but does promote political agendas, and foreign aid to countries that hate us. And, of course, that includes ending funding to NPR and Planned Parenthood. Till we get our spending under control and our budget balanced and start paying down our debt, not a penny to “the arts”.
Slash a minimum of 25% of every federal agency budget and relocate their offices away from the Beltway. I can guarantee it cost less to run the Bureau of Land Management out of Grand Junction, Colorado than anywhere in the Beltway. But put them in Red States, out of Leftist echo chambers where they can deal with real people.
Back to my comments on the true “threats to democracy” being various forms of election interference, the Hamas supporters in Congress are begging Muslim House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to act to protect them from criticism and primary challengers, warning that whatever money they burn through in the primaries will be money they don’t have in the general election.
In a closed-door meeting at party headquarters last Thursday, the three lawmakers who lead the Progressive Caucus’ PAC met with Jeffries and Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-Wash.), the head of House Democrats’ campaign arm. They told the Democratic leader he needed to keep the influential American Israel Public Affairs Committee out of Democratic primaries.
In other words, “democracy” is just fine, till it lets people actually decide who to vote for. Then it’s time for the power brokers to step in. And the unholy alliance of the Democrat Party with virulent antisemitism and genocide starts to lose some of its former camouflage as its agenda is threatened.

A friend just sent me a report on the bio lab found in Reedy, California. I am not sure if the link will work as it is for a Dropbox. The report is about 40 pages long but well worth the time to read, as it illustrates a chilling example of federal incompetence and foreign activities on American soil.
Remember this story? A code inspector investigated what looked like an abandoned warehouse improperly using a water hose, and found a filthy but very active bio-lab packed with thousands of infectious sample vials and tons of humanized test mice. An international Chinese fugitive, Jiabei “Jesse” Zhu, using the American alias of David He, and two sketchy Korean nationals have been indicted (but have fled). I’ve reported on this story several times.
It’s impossible to exaggerate the facts, which would make for a great Michael Crichton novel. If you had to choose one Congressional report to read this decade, this one is would probably be the one to pick. Here’s how the Committee’s riveting bio-lab report begins:
In December 2022, Code Enforcement Officer Jesalyn Harper noticed a green garden hose sticking out of a hole drilled into the side of a warehouse located at 850 I Street, right in the heart of Reedley, California. Reedley is a rural town of 26,000 residents. The hose was a clear violation of Reedley’s building code in a building known to be vacant for over a decade. She walked around to the front of the warehouse and knocked on the door. Officer Harper showed her badge and asked to enter the site.
Upon entering, Officer Harper found a vast warehouse filled with laboratory equipment, manufacturing devices, and what appeared to be medical-grade freezers. She observed several individuals who identified themselves as PRC nationals wearing white lab coats, glasses, masks, and latex gloves working inside. As she stepped further into the warehouse, she noticed that some of the freezers and containment units had glass doors. Inside, she saw thousands of vials of biological substances. Many were unlabeled. Others were labeled in a foreign language later identified as Mandarin. Others still were labeled in some kind of code. A few of the vials, however, had labels in English. Some of these labels listed substances that Officer Harper at the time did not recognize. She did, however, recognize the names listed on several labels, such as HIV.
Officer Harper continued down the hallways of freezers and laboratory equipment to find the source of the green garden hose. What she found was a makeshift storage room emanating a foul odor. Inside were approximately 1,000 laboratory mice in crowded conditions. Officer Harper would later learn that these were transgenic mice, specifically genetically modified and bred to simulate the human immune system for the purpose of laboratory experimentation. On future inspections, she also saw that the mice were unwell and abused, with fraying hair, rashes, and distended bellies.
Officer Harper knew that this warehouse was not licensed or permitted for any laboratory functions. She also knew that there were over a half-dozen other building code violations that she spotted in her brief walk inside the building. What Officer Harper did not know, however, was that her investigation of this green garden hose would uncover a laboratory filled with thousands of vials containing pathogens and other unknown biological and chemical substances.
A subsequent investigation revealed that the laboratory was operated by a wanted fugitive from Canada, who is a PRC citizen. The said fugitive had previously stolen millions of dollars of intellectual property from American companies and was part of an ongoing transnational criminal enterprise with ties to the PRC for which he was ultimately charged in federal court.
The House Committee’s report revealed some shocking new information. First, we learned that courageous code inspector Harper tried over and over to get the CDC to investigate, but the CDC refused to investigate. Federal health officials even hung-up on persistent Officer Harper multiple times. Only after the local Congressman got involved did the CDC finally agree to inspect the warehouse — and it found “at least 20 potentially infectious agents, including HIV, Tuberculosis, and the deadliest known form of Malaria.”
But — and this is critical — for some inexplicable and unexplained reason, the CDC did not test any of the samples — even the ones with unknown contents or with coded labels. Later, local officials discovered a freezer labeled ‘Ebola’ — Ebola! — but still the useless CDC has refused to follow up.
So there was an illegal laboratory being operated by Chinese Communists filled with, among other things, samples labeled as lethal pathogens. That is bad enough. But I also focused on the actions—or, rather, inactions—of the CDC. After the Covid debacle we had reasons to question the legitimacy of the CDC but this seems to confirm our worst doubts.

I had an extensive JFK Assassination library, most of which I lost in a house fire, and I also watched the best and probably only serious documentary on it, done by the BBC, a 12-hour series which covered in great detail things that had never been discussed in this country.
One of the incontrovertible facts presented was that there had been more than one gunman. While there has been bickering about whether or not a shot was fired from the book depository building or not, whether such a shot hit the president or not, the actual evidence showed a gunman at ground level.
Something else that came out, through records and testimony, was that the popular narrative of Oswald as loose cannon, disaffected loser, etc. was false. There is far more evidence that he was working with the CIA at some point, and also that he was there to try to stop the assassination. There is far more evidence pointing to LBJ than anywhere else, including the fingerprints of his personal hit man found at the scene and only identified years later.
Does anyone remember the statements of the first law enforcement officers to enter that room? Two veteran LEOs stated that they found a German rifle, an expensive and accurate gun. Suddenly the narrative was about a POS Italian relic that had been part of a shipment of rejects of what was never a good rifle even when not defective, with a terrible rickety scope that would have to be resighted every time the gun was fired. The two men who identified the German rifle were seasoned lawmen and hunters and gun enthusiasts and it took a few days to shut them up but the Carcano Oswald paid less than $20.00 for has gone into the history books not just as “the” rifle but actually as a “SNIPER rifle”.
The volume of evidence is astounding, so it is not a surprise that some has been overlooked, and of course the Warren Commission buried a lot of it. We never heard that the sixth floor of the building had been used for something that damaged the floor and that on November 22 the floor was being replaced, with some new flooring down and some of the old oil damaged flooring still in place, and with a large table saw standing in the room—but a man who declared he was hired to shoot out of that room testified to this detail on his deathbed. He said he was afraid the others in the room, or their handlers, would kill him if he did not shoot so he fired out a window but purposely missed the president. He also identified one of the men present as “Mac”, which was the name of the LBJ cleanup guy whose fingerprints were left on a box in the room.
Yes, the CIA hated JFK and were happy to see him dead, and might even have played a role, but there is little to no evidence to back that up. There is more pointing to LBJ.
And Oswald got a bum rap. As he said, he was just a patsy. He clearly believed he would be sprung from jail when his handlers showed up, and when it finally sunk in that this was not going to happen he made the “patsy” remark. I should see if the BBC series is still available. The last, 12th, hour was removed from the set due to a court order, though there used to be bootleg copies for sale on eBay.
I will venture to say that Forty and his generation still think they are “saving democracy” in Ukraine, well ….
Ukraine has put the democratic process itself on hold since declaring martial law in 2022. This hiatus was supposed to be temporary, but it has been repeatedly extended, most recently in July 2023. As a result of that vote in the Ukrainian parliament, where all opposition parties have been removed, the parliamentary elections scheduled for last month were canceled. Presidential elections were scheduled for March 2024, but under current rules they too will not be held, and Zelensky has stated that “now is not the time for elections.”

In all fairness, we don’t know what Forty believes other than he’s in favor of a constitutional republic governed by the rule of law. I’ll bet if you asked someone in authority in North Korea, they would say the same thing. We don’t know if Forty believes man-made climate change is an existential threat to the planet; I don’t think he has ever said. We don’t know who Forty admires/respects on the national political scene because of the brilliance and practicality of their ideas or the strength of their character because he has never said. We don’t know what policies Forty favors and which ones he rejects because he has never said. The only thing about Forty that we know for certain is that he hates Donald Trump and that his obsession with that hatred and with this blog is unhealthy in the extreme, bordering on mental illness. Whoever is deleting his comments, keep it up. If you can figure out a way to ban someone using a VPN, please do. I’m tired of feeling like I need a shower every time he shows up.
True that but he has aligned himself with a very unsavory and unAmerican movement. All we really know about forty is that he is so mentally unbalanced that he persists in posting on a site where he has repeatedly been told he is not welcome (which makes me wonder if he has a lifelong experience of being harshly rejected and has just built up enough emotional scar tissue to be impervious to it) and gets great glee in celebrating the misfortune of others who are in a category he has evidently identified as “they deserve it”. This is a pathology so profoundly distasteful it disqualifies him from participation in the blog even without his other negatives.
Oh, I can’t forget his obsession with me as he ignores the evidence of several moderators and focuses on me exclusively as The Boss Of Everything. (Kind of sounds like maybe Mommy was the source of a lot of his rejection.)

Here’s the thing with millennials and Gen Z …. of all previous generations, these two generations are suffering the worst as a result of the corrupt American government. It’s hard to find good paying jobs, they can’t afford to buy a home. rent prices are punitive, and grocery, gas, and energy prices are way up, and instead of worrying about these very important “quality of life” issues, they worry about manufactured issues like climate change, saving democracy, and abortion. Teacher unions have done their job.
Not to mention that in Real Life those participation trophies and big red As on their schoolwork designed to pump up their self esteem aren’t going to cut it when they have to actually perform. They are going to be competing with people whose self esteem is based on merit and accomplishment, not on charity and goofy fairy dust acclaim for nothing.
My son-in-law is a life-long union guy who hated Trump with a passion. My daughter warned me not to mention Trump in his presence, and I never did. Then a couple of summers ago we were out on their boat and out of the blue he said, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I miss Trump.” I about fell overboard (as did my daughter). I asked him what changed his mind, and he said he didn’t realize how great things were under Trump until we had someone who not only made things worse, but seemed to be doing it in a planned and methodical way. I couldn’t agree more.

It would be so great to have a president who immediately closes the border and issues an order that gives every person who crossed the border illegally in the last three years six months to voluntarily sign up for transportation back to their homelands, with those remaining facing felony charges when picked up. We basically invited them here during the Biden regime, so I think we owe them a ride home, and it’s cheaper than feeding them. No more food stamps or housing or health care or schools for the kids. They knew when they crossed the border they were breaking the law, just hoped Biden would give them a pass.
Line up for the bus or the plane, give a DNA sample and a retinal scan and get fingerprints taken, pick up a nice box lunch and apology from the United States for letting them think they could break the law without consequences and get on their way. As for the “better life” mantra, most of these people paid tens of thousands of dollars to cartels to get them to the border. They were not starving. They had the means to buy their way north.

The ramifications of this capitulation are going to haunt this country for generations. This is why I think a new president should just not worry about the fallout from the hysterics and immediately implement a removal of illegals. As I have been saying, I would be in favor of paying for plane fare for every one of them, to get them back where they started from. They are here because this nation, through its *president, basically invited them to come, and we owe them at least that much in spite of the fact that they also knew they weren’t really supposed to be here.
But that means controlling Congress, so new bills can be passed, including one that says anyone who illegally entered the country since January 2021 and remains here after a specific cutoff date will be considered a felon and prosecuted as such and another authorizing transportation costs for returning those people to their points of origin. Another would cut off all government aid, and another would tighten up penalties for violating federal law, so that states and cities which harbor illegals, hide them and support them, are also legally liable for civil and criminal penalties.
We’ve got federal laws. I have cited them here. It is already a federal offense to harbor illegals, yet no city or state has been held accountable for doing this. States and cities do not have the authority to override federal law. The feds just need the backbone to implement those laws.
I would start off a new administration with a massive purge of illegals, so that the next three years will give time for the hysteria to settle down and the results of reduced expenditures and reduced crime have been felt. If this were to be accompanied by a similar purge of federal agencies, relocating them and getting rid of the top bureaucrats who have used those agencies to further political agendas more than fulfilling the purposes of their charters, the nation would be chaotic in many ways but on its way to healing.

I would definitely wage war with them too. I just finished reading an historical account of the Salem Witch trials in 1692 and the influence those “witch hunts” had on the revolution of 1776. Seems to me there is another witch hunt going on.
So let’s address the whole Trump cult thing, which is a favorite amongst the easily influenced (think: Forty). Trump awoke a lot of people, including me, to the mishandling of our country at the hands of professional “faculty lounge” elected class. He brought a purely pragmatic approach to governing from the view of a CEO, and things happened. Good things. The tariffs on China making our manufacturing competitive again, the remain in Mexico policy making our border more secure, the drilling and pipelines making our country energy independent, the carrot and stick approach to foreign policy which kept bad actors at bay, and because he was so effective at limiting the Military industrial Complex role, they turned on him and because of that, the Deep State was exposed. America was rolling under Trump … until Covid. I think we were all blindsided by that, including Trump, but what we saw there was the real cult. We saw for the first time, the Uni Party/Deep State/Media/Academia cult create chaos which gave them cover to steal an election from the American people. And this dynamic exposes the real cult vs the media constructed cult. Trump supporters weren’t the ones imposing mask mandates, vaccine mandates, closing small businesses, shutting down schools, or attacking non vaccinated people as threats. That wasn’t us. That was them.
Additionally, many Trump supporters, including myself, have considered other options including DeSantis, Ramaswamey, and even RFK Jr. while we wait patiently for the sham indictments to play out. Trump supporters have never rioted as a result of the persecutions, and the thousands of people who attend his rallies have never had one violent episode. Contrast that with Democrats who demand allegiance, will not even hold a debate for other contenders, constantly riot in the streets and destroy public property, and seem to want to bring back another pandemic for control purposes. None of them stray from the party line and all of them have their venom directed in one direction.
So tell me, which one is the cult?
The “cult” meme is just another aspect of the Left’s pathetic effort to try to convince people that supporting Trump will put them in league with really vile people. Or stupid people. It’s in the same category as the “domestic terrorist” meme. In their frantic effort to divert or halt growing support for Trump, they are trying to tell the public that if they don’t find Trump to be the most horrible terrible evil threat to democracy and our way of life (and vote for the movement that really is all of those things) they will be seen as mere cultists, as well as domestic terrorists.
There’s a British saying I love, based on the saying about pulling someone’s leg. It is “pull the other one—-it’s got bells on”. And I think a lot of Americans are seeing through the fog of Leftist lies and, like Spook’s son-on-law, realizing how much better off we and the country were in a Trump presidency, rejecting the blather of the Left with that same sentiment: Pull the other one, it’s got bells on.
What is so funny about this “cult” effort is that the word so accurately describes those who blindly support the Left and whoever it puts in front of them. While there are certainly some people who are enthralled by Trump The Man, most of his support is for Trump The President—-and the two are not the same thing.
When you talk to people who would happily vote for Trump again you find a lot of criticism of various aspects of the man, from his name calling to his bad decisions about the people he chose for various positions to his unsavory past. But they are objective and analytical and look at what he accomplished and what they believe he will continue to accomplish if given another chance. On the other hand, the Biden supporters simply deny the unpleasant facts about him to justify their support. You will never see a Biden voter saying “Yeah, he did use his status as vice president to get millions from other nations but that doesn’t bother me” or “So what if he stole documents he had no right to possess or even take from the room and then just left them in a garage” or anything like that. They just insist none of this ever happened. THAT is a sign of true cultist behavior.
I never liked Trump as a person, but then as I always said, “I don’t want to date him, I want to hire him”. These days I see glimmers of personality I like, enough to understand why some people DO like him, but as a person he’s not my cup of tea. As CEO of the United States, though he made a lot of blunders due, I think, to trying to treat the office of the presidency the same way he treated the office of a corporate CEO, I found myself approving of what he was actually accomplishing. I think a lot of people are seeing the same thing, though maybe a little later to the party.
And I started to see some of what I had thought of as goofiness as actual strategy—-saying something outrageous to get the Complicit Agenda Media howling in offended fury and being distracted while he was doing something behind the scenes, much like pretending to throw a ball for a dog and watching it search in vain where he thinks it went.

I agree. I thought Trump was handling the crisis well, for the first few weeks, in spite of the rabid Left’s savaging of every effort he made. I think we were all blindsided by that, including Trump, but what we saw there was the real cult. Here we could see, in bold all-caps, the total indifference to the well-being of the people in this country when the unholy cabal of the Complicit Agenda Media, the Bureaucratic State in the forms of the CDC and the FDA and the rest of the Leftist machine conspired to tell the public that Trump’s references to various possible approaches to dealing with the virus were really advice on how to poison themselves.
In the beginning, Trump did everything right. He provided a calm sense of leadership as he tried to quell the rising panic, and he tried to inform the public that were some treatments that might help deal with the illness if it developed. We will never know the number of deaths that resulted from the all-out assault on Trump, on reasoning and on common decency as people were not just dissuaded from taking known and proven therapeutics such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin but as the vile lapdog media published headlines screaming THESE DRUGS WILL KILL YOU! and various government lackeys did their assigned jobs of forbidding the sale of these drugs even when brave doctors ignored the dictates of their Leftist professional organizations and tried to prescribe them. We even saw politically motivated pharmacists refusing to fill legitimate prescriptions for these drugs, as if they somehow had the authority to override the decisions of doctors.
We saw a tsunami of medical and ethical malfeasance on a massive scale as prior standards of healthcare were not just abandoned by trampled by the Leftist juggernaut as it rallied to use this virus to bring down Trump, even if it called for the deaths of tens of thousands to make it happen. After all, this is the pattern of the Left.
Trump bore no responsibility for the refusal to use hydroxychloroquine to treat the cytokine storms of runaway immune system response to the virus, in spite of its development and use for more than four decades to treat immune system disorders. That was all on the purely political decision that no number of deaths would be too large if they could be blamed on Trump. So doctors were informed by the “experts” that early intervention with steroids was counter-indicated and those doctors who tried to communicate their successes with this intervention were threatened with the loss of their licenses and even criminal charges if they used the treatment or talked about it. People who had been using hydroxychloroquine for years to treat their immune system disorders like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus could no longer get their medication because governors (GOVERNORS!) had obediently stepped in to bend the knee to their masters and made prescribing those drugs a crime. People who had been taking hydroxychloroquine and/or ivermectin for years/decades as a prophylactic for problems ranging from immune disorders to malaria were not only denied access to them but informed that they were toxic and lethal. The common practice of treating a cytokine storm with hydroxychloroquine was not just abandoned but forbidden, so patients were put on ventilators and warehoused in hospitals till they died.
The inevitable deaths from these immoral and unethical actions not just by the media, which is pretty much the kind of thing they do, not just by federal agencies created to protect the public and not use it as cannon fodder, but by the medical profession itself, were all used by the Left to blame Trump for somehow, in some way, failing the country.
And Trump, trying to deal with something well outside his areas of experience and expertise, did what a prudent president would and should do, and consulted the experts in the field. This was his real downfall, because the “experts” who guided him were Fauci and Brix, backed by the corrupt and politically motivated CDC and FDA and motivated by the knowledge of vast riches to be gained if a couple of pharmaceutical companies could be given the opportunity to develop and market drugs identified as protection against the virus. So he followed the advice of these corrupt “experts” and commissioned these corrupt pharmaceutical companies to develop a vaccine. Without knowledge of the venality and corruption and indifference to human life and suffering represented by these people, everything he did was exactly the right thing to do.
Even so, Trump could have prevailed on the Covid front if it were not for the incessant drumbeat of the Complicit Agenda Media incessantly telling the public that he was somehow not “doing enough”. And even then, even after failing with the Russia Hoax debacle, even after two efforts as using Congress to try to influence the next election by having the House mount two Star Chamber impeachment hearings, even with the media savaging him at every opportunity, even with the complicity of federal agencies and social media to hide facts about his opponent, the Left had to dig deep into its bag of Nasty Tricks to pull out an alleged “victory”.

Great way of saying that. I will only fault Trump for one thing … sticking with Fauci for too long. Although he did bring on the Scott guy (can’t remember his last name) who was critical of all of Fauci’s remedies but that did come a little too late.

One of the things that Atlas said was that the best way to deal with the virus was to let it run its course—to let those at least risk just go ahead and catch it, while protecting the most vulnerable, so that herd immunity would develop as most people would end up developing natural immunity due to exposure. This did not fit in with the preferred narrative of those who would profit by the virus—that is, those who needed panic and chaos and fear so it could be weaponized against Trump and those who could profit financially.
As we have seen with other viruses, once herd immunity is achieved and the number of potential hosts decreases the virus in question eventually fade away—or becomes so rare it has essentially disappeared.
Since then other medical experts have concurred, explaining that early treatment with available therapeutics such as hydroxychloroquine, steroids and/or ivermectin and remaining at home would have been the ideal approach to the problem. Instead, our “experts” decreed delayed treatment, no use of current modalities such as addressing runaway immune system overreactions or other conditions such as pneumonia and consolidating the ill in hospitals and nursing homes.

If we weren’t living in a banana republic, the American public wouldn’t have had to wait over two years to see this footage. The J6 Committee carefully curated the film (yeah, I still use that word) to fit their frame job of former President Trump. Not only did Milei win, but he did it in an election in which judges did not arbitrarily change laws and without huge, unexplained tranches of ballots, with 99% marked for the favorite candidate of the political class being discovered after the polls closed. Argentina’s New President Proves the Power of Unapologetic Truth-Telling
The confidence and unapologetic way with which Milei speaks has a lot to do with his success. He’s demonstrated that he’s not the kind to waffle or cave. He knows what the problem is, he knows who his enemies are, and he’s not going to give them any ground as he paves the way back for his country’s success.
His confidence and unapologetic truth-telling are like a lamp in the dark for many people, especially in the case of speaking the truth about government corruption and socialism.
The radical left relies quite a bit on shame, isolation, and fear to keep people quiet. Their power is in making people second-guess themselves or feel as if they’re crazy for going so far as to speak negatively of Marxian theory. They’re very good at making people feel alone in their beliefs that socialism is bad, especially in today’s age, where the radical left has infected nearly every stage there is. The threat that there will be comeuppance and repercussions for speaking out against the radical left’s beliefs and agendas hangs in the air at all times, silencing the thoughts and opinions of those who think differently.
But speaking truthfully, and without apology, against socialism creates hope and courage.
And that’s what Milei has given to the Argentinian people. He gave them the courage to speak up and honestly push the failed economic form of governance away.
It’s my honest hope that he leads Argentina into a new future filled with freedom and economic prosperity. His success could spur a real movement in other countries, up to and including America. But, in the meantime, the lesson we can take from this is that it’s a good thing to be brutally honest about the rot that leftism brings about and that speaking honestly and confidently about it, without fear of becoming a pariah, might lose you some friends but it will gain you a whole lot more.
