On the death of Kissinger: he was neither monster nor genius. He was just wrong. The whole concept of Realpolitik is wrong. You can never – you must never – separate your actions from moral considerations. You always have to try to do what is right even if it is risky and dangerous…because if you instead chose what is expedient (such as torpedoing Saigon as part of a program to talk with Beijing) then what you get is…what we have right now: a China on the rise and growing ever more aligned against us. Had we done the right thing – continue to sustain Vietnam to victory and kept away from the anti-human regime in China, the world today would be a much better place.

Kissinger didn’t invent Realpolitik nor was he responsible for all the American foreign policy disasters from 1917 to 1969 but he kept right at it. With iron determination he kept doing what his fool predecessors did and it kept failing…and his successors also kept making the same mistakes. To put it into current affairs; we must back Israel because it is the right thing to do. We must call for the extermination of Hamas because it is the right thing to do. To call for anything else – a ceasefire – might seem like the realistic thing to do, but I remind one and all that Israel had both Egypt and Syria on the verge of unconditional surrender in 1973 and we forced Israel to pull back. Seemed smart…but the reason Hamas exists and just sent rape/death squads into Israel is because the Arab/Muslim world did not get the humiliating defeat they had earned decades before. People who do wrong things – like start wars – must never get to have a say in how things conclude and what comes after. The wrong must be punished until they beg for mercy. And then they must be shown mercy…but they don’t get a say. They are to be ordered about to the liking of the victors.

Senator Fetterman is surprising everyone – he’s come out with some sensible things of late, most recently his observation that if we’re going to kick Rep Santos out, why not Senator Menendez (D-Egypt)? Is Fetterman playing a game? Is he getting, as they say, “red pilled”? Not sure; I suspect that somewhere deep down inside there is the regular guy who has played the game to get into the Senate…but does still remember that they’re all garbage in DC. We’ll see how long the Democrats let this go on. I mean, think about it: sure Santos seems like a liar…maybe even a creep…but compared to the rest of them? Come on! Congress is awash in crooks, sexual abusers and traitors and Santos is the guy who gets the axe? Before there was even a trial? The anti-Semitic Squad gets to stay? I guess that maybe Fetterman saw that and just went, AYFKM?

Chauvin – who as far as I can tell, didn’t commit anything like a crime – was just stabbed 22 times in prison. Word is the assailant is a former FBI informant. Almost like they want Chauvin gone before the full story gets out.

Other thing heard today – the J6 video is missing. Gone. Nobody knows what happened to it. This is another thing they don’t dare let the full truth come out about.

A trucking company in Tennessee has been fined $700,000. The crime? They asked prospective employees to prove they are legal residents of the United States. You know: like the law says they’re supposed to be. The key thing to remember about our government is that it hates you.

A lot.

Nice to see someone who has the same take in Kissinger as I do. Never been a fan. Not evil, just wrong is spot on.

I am glad to see Fetterman improving, which I think he is. I hope his recovery continues.

I had to laugh at this headline:

Donald Trump will be BIG government conservative, Republicans fear: GOP favorite has pledged to probe MSNBC, build ‘freedom cities’, push for flying cars and ban healthcare for trans kids

Every imaginary fear of Democrats in one headline. The concern of Trump being a “big government” conservative is my favorite. Since when have any of them worried about big government??? And if you haven’t noticed, Democrats are all in on calling Trump a fascist, absent any such evidence, but this is how desperate they are, and we can expect that desperation to become even more unhinged. I think and hope we are witnessing the last gasps of a dying movement.

Not to mention that the single thing of his administration that terrified the Left so much it made it absolutely imperative to take him down at any cost was his slashing of the size of the federal government with promises of more on the way. Where was this headline? The NYT?

And I agree on the Chauvin thing too. They need him to go away and they failed. That story will come out soon and hopefully Chauvin will be exonerated of Floyd’s death and released from prison …. with back pay

Just take a moment and marinate in what James Carville said yesterday

According to James Carville, “Mike Johnson is one of the greatest threats we have to the United States and Christian nationalism more dangerous to America than Al Qaeda.”

This level of desperation should not be taken lightly. If they actually feel this way about us, then why aren’t they picking up arms to kill us? It’s the logical next step if in fact we are this dangerous. And I for one, will ask that question every time. It is incumbent upon them to save America by killing me so??? Bring it.

“White nationalism” just never quite took off as a rallying cry, because it was so transparently stupid. Try as they might, neither the adjective nor the noun could be made truly ominous. Only hard-core irrational racists can hate people because of the melanin content of their skin, and too many people happen to think the U.S. is the best place to live to fall for the line that being a “nationalist” is somehow bad. So being PPP—a Patriotic Person of Pallor—-just never generated the sense of danger the Left needs to create.

But the Left HAS had some success in convincing a couple of generations that Christianity is somehow just a form of superstition, so now they’re trying to hitch it to the wagon of “nationalism”. The problem is, the wheels have come off that wagon. The shell game of pretending that you don’t really hate your country if you just hate the people who love it is wearing too thin.

But what has happened to James Carville? As odious as he has always been, he’s still been smart. He applied his verbal skills and intellect to ferociously defending his Leftist masters, but he never sounded stupid when he did it. Vicious, yes. (What do you expect when you drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park) but stupid? No.

Now he is parroting utter nonsense, in that snapping-turtle way of his, and as much as I have disliked him it is still kind of sad to see such a decline.

They asked prospective employees to prove they are legal residents of the United States. You know: like the law says they’re supposed to be.

Like the law says they’re supposed to DO.

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization or local government) commits a federal felony when he:
    1. assists an alien whom he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him to obtain employment,

    2. encourages that alien to remain in the U.S., by referring him to an employer, by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or

    3. knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.
Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property.

I have written about the possibility/likelihood of a Constitutional crisis if we don’t get a grip on the natural born citizen issue before we elect someone who is not Constitutionally eligible as president or vice president. I have cited statements from Founders and their contemporaries about their determination that anyone eligible for the presidency be born to citizen parents (the traditional definition of “natural born citizen”) to avoid conflicts of loyalty, and the fact that being born to citizens of other countries increases the likelihood of that happening.

I just ran across a perfect example of that. In an article about the defense of the DHS of a rabid Jew-hating proponent of Jewish genocide, who was placed on administrative (paid) leave after posting vile posts celebrating the massacre on October 7, I saw that she described herself this way: According to her social media profiles — which say she is “American born, Palestinian @ heart”

If we accept the interpretation of the 14th Amendment that anyone born in the U.S. is an American citizen even though his or her parents are under the legal jurisdiction of the nations in which they are citizens, and ignore the centuries-old definition of natural born citizenship as being conveyed by birth to citizen parents and not by geography, we could have someone like this as president or vice president. Not in this election cycle—Haley and Ramaswamy are not proudly claiming that in their hearts they are still Indian—but in the future.

    • Amazona's avatar Amazona December 2, 2023 / 12:32 pm

Nejwa Ali, a former spokeswoman for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) who the U.S. Department of Homeland Security hired to vet asylum seekers—that is, an active immigration officer who helped determine who is admitted into the country, a position of authority—– proudly proclaims that she is ““American born, (but) Palestinian @ heart”.

She seems like a lovely person, still on the national payroll while engaging in activities such as for calling for the doxing uniformed military personnel by releasing video of military personnel leaving a meeting at the Israeli embassy, “I was protesting at the Israeli embassy today when this happened,” she wrote. “THIS is exactly who is supporting Israel’s apartheid and genocide of PALESTINE let’s name these assholes!”

Unleashing the internet to identify individual military members involved in international affairs could be considered inciting violence or retribution.

But a lot of people are vile, disgusting foul-mouthed haters. What I find even more offensive is that she is being protected, and paid by, our own government.

Shortly after The Daily Wire on October 18 documented how Ali enthusiastically shared a drawing supportive of Hamas terrorists parachuting into a music festival with guns, DHS said she had been placed on leave. That same day, she responded to a question about whether she supported Hamas paragliders by saying in recorded audio: “I abso-f***ing-lutely celebrate them, asshole, f*** you!”

But administrative leave is paid, and DHS did not work expeditiously to fire her. On October 31, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) grilled DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the matter, and Mayorkas repeatedly dodged the question before admitting she was not fired, saying “that individual has been placed on administrative leave.”

“So she’s not been fired… This isn’t sufficient to fire her?” Hawley asked. A visibly angry Mayorkas said “I cannot speak to an ongoing personnel matter” and called Hawley’s questioning “despicable.”

Setting aside the malfeasance in allowing this troll to remain as head of the DHS, it is significant that he became “visibly angry” at questioning about why Nejwa Ali was still being paid by the government (not to mention why she was hired in the first place) as she continued to participate in support of a terrorist organization and inciting violence against military personnel.

Sometimes after a long day of number crunching and the sorting and analyzing I am having to do related to a big project I am working on, at night the last thing I want to deal with is anything complex. So last night, with an adult beverage in hand, I flipped through the streaming options on my new TV and clicked on reruns of “Young Sheldon”, which seemed like the perfect winding-down recipe. And I found another reason to like Elon Musk.

In the episode, 9-year-old genius Sheldon Cooper, sometime in the late 1980s, is dismissed by someone from the Johnson Space Center when he suggests that no, it is not impossible to design a rocket that can be returned from space. So he sets out to do the calculations to prove that it is, in fact, theoretically possible. There is a funny scene in which the scientist is forced to admit that Sheldon’s calculations do prove that this is possible but that they just didn’t have the means to apply them, with Sheldon replying “So what you’re saying is that I’m ahead of my time?” After the scientist agrees and Sheldon says “Call me when you catch up” the episode ends with a current video of a Space X rocket returning to a drone ship on June 17, 2021, and then a shot of Elon Musk looking through Sheldon’s workbook before tucking it into a desk drawer.

I loved the fact that Musk agreed to do very funny and self-effacing scene.

With all the drama and danger of these times, a little whimsy and a sense of humor are even more important to keep from being overwhelmed.

Good analysis of Newsom lies in the debate, including this one with its significant question in the response:

Newsom Claim #6: “1406 books banned by Florida so far…”

Incorrect. No books have been “banned” by DeSantis and the State of Florida. Some books have been removed from public schools, either for pornographic content or for propaganda content with no educational value. The real question is, why does Newsom defend the exposure of young children to the pornography in these books, which are often easily found in California schools? If it’s related to LGBT issues does that make it okay in his mind?

It’s the same question asked of all proponents of those demanding that porn be kept easily accessible by young children, and it is never answered, just howled down by shrill cries of “BANNING BOOKS!!” and efforts to link this in more feeble minds with Nazi book burning.

Florida Democrats Cancel Primary Election, Automatically Handing Biden the State’s Votes

Looks like the powers to be for the demoncrats have decided to ride a dead mule in the next presidential election. I find it difficult to imagine there are people still considering to back Bidum given his obvious mental decline.

    • Amazona's avatar Amazona December 3, 2023 / 1:10 pm

This is reminiscent of the Dems kicking Bernie to the curb because the DNC wanted Hillary, so they got her “nominated” by creating “super-delegates” who outvoted the rank and file. Now they don’t even bother with that, and just cancel the primary election.

At least when it comes to election interference they don’t discriminate. One move is to keep their guy in, the other is to keep our guy out, but it’s all about controlling the outcome.

BTW, is there a betting pool on whether they will come up with another “national emergency” to justify more election meddling, or even cancel it?

Conservatives need to prepare themselves for the worst, because in the increasingly desperate Democrat world, that’s more likely than not:

The Rufini family’s peaceful life was shattered when a late-night FBI operation saw them hauled at gunpoint from their home and detained in a van while agents combed their house for evidence of what was presumed to be a potential violent plot by their 15-year-old son, who was a volunteer firefighter and an altar boy, American Greatness reported.

Their delusions are now dangerous. These people feared that a few thousand unarmed senior citizens could overthrow the country, and are now raiding 15 year old bedrooms in search of dangerous memes. They will stop at nothing.

“His interests in history and theology led him down a rabbit hole where he was recruited into group chats targeting teenage traditionalist Catholics with extreme political content. We later learned that these chats were being closely monitored, and possibly operated by, FBI agents as part of an effort to investigate Traditional Catholics that was downstream of a broader domestic investigation spurred by the events of January 6th.”

As Gateway Pundit reported in April, Chris Wray’s FBI is now infiltrating Catholic parishes. The FBI agents are engaging in outreach to Catholic leaders to spy on Americans practicing their Christian faith.

Chris Wray’s FBI sent out a memo warning agents of the dangerous ‘radical traditionalist Catholic ideology’ that was gaining popularity in the country. The memo was posted at UncoverDC.com by former FBI special agent Kyle Seraphin.

BTW, this “dangerous and radical traditionalist Catholic ideology” is nothing more than a preference for traditional Catholic rites and services over the more “modern” and often nearly secular rites and services of today’s Church, and rejection in some cases of the Pope’s efforts to use his status to influence politics. As the Pope has started to espouse radical Leftist ideology and present it through his position as the leader of the Catholic Church many have started to think this inappropriate, but evidently the American Left is now dedicated to protecting the International Left, even to the extent of meddling in religious affairs when those recalcitrant Catholics don’t like political cant mixed in with their religious teachings.

Given the left’s desire for world domination and control over every aspect of our lives, along their infiltration at high ranks into many powerful institutions, private, educational and governmental, I wonder if the resignation of Pope Benedict and insertion of Pope Francis was perpetrated through the insidious push of the underworld? I have very little trust in “things” happening without the intentional direct and indirect influences of evil entities. Satan will use every means possible to achieve the damnation of any soul he can grab with the distortion of lofty promises that are worth nothing more than particles of dust. While this battle appears to many to be happening in the physical world, the real battle is taking place in the spiritual arena. It is only through God’s intervention that things will be set right. Prayer is a VERY powerful weapon.

This is a lesson Democrats refuse to learn:

A government that “gives” you your rights “allows” you to do only what they will permit you to do. But that isn’t freedom. Being told by the government what kind of car you must drive or what kind of food you can eat is not “freedom.” It’s slavery. But, tragically, the American people aren’t being taught freedom anymore—except the “freedom” to be as immoral and depraved as they want to be, which is nothing more than slavery to personal wantonness—and like the Chinese people, too many Americans have no real clue what “freedom” actually consists of. As every genuinely great political philosopher and moral teacher in history taught, there can be no freedom, personally or collectively, if there is no virtue in the people. “To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people is a chimerical [fanciful] idea” (James Madison). Being a slave to lust and licentiousness, or any vice, is not freedom. But the Democratic Party wants Americans to believe that it is. Because a degenerate, decadent society will need an oppressive government to control it.

      They didn’t “devolve”—they returned.

The Democrat Party has evidently always missed the Good Old Days of its KKK lynchings and terrorizing of black people and Jews, having to now pander to them both for votes, so they are thrilled to be able to revisit their glory days as they go back to their roots. They are confident enough in their control of the secular American Jewish vote to not worry about alienating them, and the sheer animal joy of being able to express their true hating selves is glorious. Baby-killing is OK, but it’s all so private, one at a time and done behind closed doors and lacking that mob mentality that makes it all so much fun.
