The next GOP President should take a trip to one of the Nigerian villages attacked by Islamists. Perhaps the one attacked just this Christmas? Any of them will do; there are a lot of them. And when he gets there and he makes himself available to the press, he should ask them: “why haven’t you told the American people what’s been happening here for years?”. The purpose isn’t to get an answer from them – but to start implanting in the low-info people that they are being systemically deceived.

This is doing something to make it look like you’re doing something. We’re not going to hit anything serious because these are Iranian assets and our foreign and military establishments abhor doing anything that offends Iran. This is over and above all other considerations – that they kinda hate Israel plays a role, but not decisive here. Our establishment is just convinced that peace in the Middle East is dependent upon us selling the area to Iran. Sure, its stupid – but its what they believe. At least, it is what we must assume they believe considering their actions.
The bad news here is that Iranian-backed forces are threatening to halt seaborne trade in the Red Sea – basically closing the Suez Canal. There was a reason it was built, guys; because transiting via South Africa takes a huge amount of time and money. Already major shippers are rerouting their trade – and this is going to add massive cost to everything humanity does. You really have to understand how much of the world’s goods transit through Suez – either directly or in parts that go to make the whole. Don’t fuss about oil as some are – most of the largest tankers haven’t been able to fit in Suez for ages. Can’t fit through Panama, either. They’ve already been taking the longer route and that was long ago priced it…it is everything else that the problem will come in on. Brace for some bad economic shocks.

I have a feeling that this opinion is shared around the world. The chicanery was so blatant, only a thoroughly in-the-tank Complicit American Media could effectively convince anyone otherwise, and their influence is limited to the United States.
Every time some Agenda Media shill slips in the term “unbased” or “unfounded” their credibility slips another notch. Right now only the most dedicated Leftists can still insist that it was a “free and fair election” and that there was no fraud. One of the best memes I’ve seen show’s Biden shaking hands with an imaginary person as he turns to walk off stage with the caption, “this is what you get when you order a President by mail.”
But what harms our side is the number of people on the Right who are sticking with “clean” simply because they liked the result; Trump out. That is catastrophic for our side.
We expect our liberals/progressives to be quite mindless – they wouldn’t be liberals/progressives if they weren’t mindless. But when I see otherwise intelligent people solemnly asserting that I didn’t see them put up cardboard on the counting room windows it gets depressing. Even if one wants to argue that it still didn’t change the result, at least acknowledge that the only reason you hide the count is to cheat. But, I guess they can’t even go that far…because, of course, nobody cheats to no purpose. Once admit some cheating happened and the door is open…you eventually have to go to the point of, “there was so much cheating that the true outcome cannot be determined”. I agree. The Constitution doesn’t say he can do that, but it also doesn’t say he can’t. At worst we need a Constitutional amendment that clarifies that if the certification of votes is disputed, the Vice President has the authority to refuse to accept Electoral College ballot envelopes from disputed states. The United States electoral process should be the model for the rest of the world, not the laughing stock.
I always come back to the term “certify”. Legally it means to affirm or guarantee the accuracy of something. I recently sold two vehicles and had to certify that the odometer readings I provided were accurate. False certification is a crime, if you are certifying the mileage on a 20-year-old pickup, but evidently not if you are falsely attesting to the accuracy of the votes for the president of the United States.
Exactly – this notion that he must count what is handed to him is just absurd. Of course the VP has agency here – by design. And in the end if there is a dispute about the Electoral College, the House resolves it.
This is what really bugged me about the whole thing – the assertion, backed by many on the Right, that our only recourse is to mindlessly accept what is handed to us. As if we don’t have a right to question the government.
The 1st Amendment codifies a Constitutional right to petition the government for redress of wrongs. The Left has rewritten that to mean it can only be done in a formal written petition, which is utter nonsense.

So she is “elected” but not directly by the people, just by the legislature. Which is another way of saying “appointed” by the legislature, which then votes on whether to approve the appointment. I read a little bit of the dialogue here yesterday and just want to say that anyone who believed in, and promoted the false Russia Collusion narrative for years, should be permanently removed from all public discourse on election interference. Their argument is absurd to begin with … on one hand we are to believe the 2016 election was rife with fraud while the 2020 election was the most transparent election in history. Considering the “universal mail in ballot” voting and State legislatures unilaterally changing rules, that argument is laughable.
One of the writers for one of the conservative online newsletters refers to Biden as *81millionLOL Biden.
Now we are told that 46% of voters approve of his performance. (Or maybe it’s 46% of Dems—still scary.) Though now that I think of it, I don’t think the word “performance” is defined in the poll questions, so it could be performance in climbing the short stairs into the airplane, or performance sorting through his cheat-sheet cards in a meeting with a dignitary, or performance reciting narratives of an imagined past, or performance sitting in a chair on the beach.

Following up on crimes is not lawfare. It is justice. Let the courts decide he is not competent to stand trial, and hope that will sink in to everyone who voted for him. Letting Hunter “retire” is to perpetuate the multi-tiered justice system.
Maybe not Hunter but you don’t go after Biden, unfortunately. Trump could have easily gone after Hillary but he never did.
Indict Biden and then let his lawyers argue that he shouldn’t be prosecuted because of his age and mental condition. He started betraying this country decades ago and this should not be ignored. He doesn’t have to go to trial to be held accountable on some level and we should not decide who is and who is not held accountable for crimes.
