The Evil Must End

Got my heart broken a bit today – saw this story of an 18 year old kid from backwoods Mexico who was abandoned by the traffickers because he couldn’t keep up. The good news is that he was found and got help – and will be returned to his mother in Mexico, as he tearfully desired. And, you guessed it, there was Cartel involvement: it looks like in some way the kid and/or his family owes the Cartel money and his journey was to get work to pay them off. Just in case anyone out there really thought all these people were just coming for themselves. They’re not: huge numbers are just walking ATMs for the Cartels. We can guess how many are successful in paying off the Cartels: almost certainly it is zero.

He’s just 18. Sure, a legal adult but think back a moment to when you were 18…if you had just been ripped from your family and left to die in a foreign desert. How scared would you have been? How many tears would you have shed? How desperate for your mother’s love would you have become? This was just a slight peek into the immense human tragedy Joe Biden and his puppet-masters have created…and created with callous disregard for human life.

I struggle mightily, my friends. A Catholic cannot support the death penalty. Various official Church pronouncements have condemned the practice. But I admit that I want those traffickers who abandoned the boy to die. Of course they won’t, at least not from official hands. And, yes, if they were at my mercy, that is what they would receive. I’m built for it; God made me this way. I am deeply flawed as a human being but I am ready to forgive.

But this must stop. All of it. All of this ruination of human lives. It doesn’t have to be this way. Kids do not have to be transported across continents to work for the Cartels. Drug addicts do not have to die in our streets. We do not have to put up with mobs looting stores. Public brawls over nothing. Anti-Semites marching through our cities. None of this is tolerable. It all has to go. This all must end. If you ever think we shouldn’t, or if you ever feel sorry for those we will punish, then you just think of an 18 year old kid left to die in a desert. Steel your hearts. The evil must end.

    “The Evil Must End”

Good luck with that. Evil is all around us. The level of evil in the world is greater than at any time since WW2. And the evil doers, I’m talking about those who engage in all sorts of unimaginable horrors while simultaneously positioning themselves to rule the rest of us, have insulated themselves from accountability. They control vast amounts of money, institutions, education, law enforcement (that’s the biggie) and governments. There may come a day when that changes, but I don’t think we’re anywhere close yet. Things are just not bad enough for the average person to want to do anything about it.

The world continues a downward spiral drowning in sin, from indifference and distortions that label good as evil and evil as good, all the way down to some of the most wicked acts & deeds ever witnessed. I read in an article just yesterday; a 32 year-old mother left her 16 month old daughter unattended in a pack-n-play for 10 days while she went on a vacation. “Upon returning, Candelario found Jailyn unresponsive and called the police.”  The mental state of this woman is deranged beyond rationality that it forces one to question just how far we as a society have descended. This is but one small example of a singular atrocity carried out by one person. Yet we know, far worse (sometimes hard to imagine) things are taking place that affect multitudes.

At the same time, I see a resurgence of people turning back to God, attempting to fill a void that exists in the hearts of anyone where God is not present (even if they don’t always recognize it). This transition back to God is most challenging as this requires finding the truth, which is made difficult when the truth is actively squelched and when many so-called religious leaders and other “trusted” individuals or enterprises are some of the worst offenders of perpetrating the lies. This is certainly not the time to sit quietly on the sidelines waiting for good to overcome evil. It requires all of us to speak our voice, and act in accordance to righteousness & responsibility. That demands prosecution of any who perpetrate the lies & malevolence, something occurring less and less. While it may seem like there’s little the average person can do, the power of prayer is far greater than most realize.

That does appear to be the case – but it is getting closer by the day. I can feel it. Of course, the longer the Establishment holds the reaction in check, the more violent it will be when it comes. We’ll know when it starts: miscreants will disappear and, by golly, nobody saw anything, officer.

Aren’t you kind of amazed that there hasn’t been more vigilante justice in recent years?

It used to be that the middle and upper class areas were protected – but the chaos is now spreading to them. That’s what will trigger it.

In some ways yes. But as a family member in the concrete business told me once, he was stiffed major money on 2 different occasions that significantly affected his business and family. It was only his belief in God that kept him from using the mafia method. I suspect that is at least one thing that constrains more direct action.

250 years ago, our ancestors were faced with less authoritarianism then we are, and they did something about it. So should we.

“A Catholic cannot support the death penalty. Various official Church pronouncements have condemned the practice.”

Actually, there has been several well-known people within the church’s history that have stated varied views on the subject.

“St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, allowed it when the security of the larger community was at stake. Augustine argued against the widespread use of the death penalty but justified it in cases where the lives of innocent people in the community were at stake. Aquinas justified the death penalty when no other means could protect the common good.”

    ————

“It was, however, during the papacy of St. Pope John Paul II that the specifics of the church’s opposition to the death penalty crystallized. As a young man in Poland, John Paul II was witness to both Nazi and Soviet totalitarianism and to their respective widespread executions. His personalist theology, formed against the horror of those executions, celebrated both the infinite dignity of each person and the infinite opportunities for salvation that divine grace provides each person, regardless of sin.

These two elements of John Paul II’s personalist theology came together in his important 1995 encyclical, Evangelium Gaudium (The Gospel of Life), to form the church’s theological argument against the death penalty. There John Paul II maintained that the modern state has sufficient means to protect the community, short of capital punishment.”

    ————-

Unfortunately, we know John Paul’s statement about sufficient means to protect short of capital punishment, not to be totally true. As we have witnessed, even with incarceration, evil people are able to continue carrying out their criminal enterprise, including murdering innocent when they wish. IMO, the only way to safeguard against these people is to eliminate them from society. Even solitary confinement, which can only realistically be used for a limited number of people, does not totally safeguard society against them. There are some people in the world so drunk on evil, some of the most brutal dictators, warlords, assassins, criminals, etc.., that their detrimental influence extends beyond their immediate control. Allowing them to live is to risk not only their continued evil, but its expansion as well.

There’s a line in the movie “Man on Fire”, with Denzel Washington. Denzel was hired to protect a young girl from criminal elements, who was kidnapped. Intent on holding those responsible pay for this, in one scene Denzel enters in the 2nd floor apartment of an elderly couple with a rocket grenade launcher. Realizing what is about to take place, the elderly man says; “Jesus teaches that we should forgive.” To which Denzel responds; “That’s between them and God. I’m only here to arrange the meeting”.

DOJ Threatens to Increase Sentences for J6 Defendants if SCOTUS Overturns Dubious Charge

While I’m guessing they’ll dream up new charges, it sure looks a lot like double jeopardy. This is another example of political persecution that so many others who live outside the US are trying to escape. Trump says he’ll pardon them all once he’s rightfully returned to the Presidency.

Biden’s gestapo is continuing unabated. But this is al in the name of saving democracy, right?

“Like thousands of other innocent Americans, Isabella was arrested merely for showing up at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, and engaging in what generations past used to refer to as constitutionally protected civil disobedience.”

“As a result of her appearance, earlier this week in California Isabella was ambushed by no less than seven federal agents, who, without warning, descended on the 5’1 influencer, then proceeded to handcuff and temporarily detain her for questioning – while reportedly also deploying a separate unit of agents to raid her apartment back in Washington, DC, for evidence of her asserted “crime.”

7 Fed agents to take down a 5’1″ woman trespasser. Seems about right. Things are going well in America /sarc

If Biden cheats and wins again, I will be forwarding my mail to Mexico.

I am a fallen man. I believe all men are born evil and can only atone themselves like I do daily. I wake up sand thank the Lord for another day, then I pray that good will overcome evil and live my day by that belief. I try to follow the teachings of Jesus (in my case) and wish others would or could as well.

There, of course, is a backstory. At this point I have never done resolute damage to another living creature; however, that is not outside my realm. I have and will always honor my commitment to the United States of America I made as a well-informed young man up to and including my life. I have been well-trained over the years including the Marine Corps into items to include to decimation of enemy forces which includes internal as well as external.

The more I learn about our government, as well as others, has me in a despondent state to say the least. I would just like my little piece of “heaven here on earth” to be left alone including me. Alas, I guess I cannot because of assholes like CueBall are recommending “wet works” against the potential Presidential candidate. In addition to the lawfare, he recommends assassination. Hope he really understands how it works. I do as I have been trained in those types of work.

I am not going all Kaczynski here as I still have hope but since I am digging a deep hole could you please pass me another shovel? I will do what is required to keep America-America but will not do what is against nature’s law. I may or will have a lot to answer for at St. Micheal’s gate to heaven but at least I can start with “Another Marine reporting, Sir.”

Although this is barely half of what I wish I could say I, like everyone, has to be concerned about Big Brother these days.

I would just like my little piece of “heaven here on earth”…

Often, the experience of what we feel while on earth is a state of mind. It is easy to feel disillusioned, abandoned, cheated, physical & emotional turmoil, …  That is satan dragging you down, pulling you away from God. When you humble yourself (humility is NOT a weakness) and trust in God, all of that negativity starts to dissolve. You begin realize the burdens you feel are not yours to carry, not if you don’t want to. While you still have to live in this world, the more you live in appreciation and understand where all good comes from, the higher your emotional state.

I recently heard a statement from Jordan Peterson. If you allow your suffering to be transformed into a resentful bitterness, a constant state of angered victimhood, there’s no limit the amount of hell you can turn anything into.”

This is the near constant mental state of the leftist. Don’t become that. There is far more good that surrounds us than we realize. It’s in the eyes of a playful child, the warmth of the sun, the blossom of spring flowers, a smile from a complete stranger… Focus and be a part of that. All of the other crap will still be there, but it can become nothing more than background chatter.

While it is true the propensity for good and evil exist in all of us, it has been said; “That which you feed is what you become.”

What I do is look backward till I can find a place in our history where the nation came close to fulfilling its potential, and try to isolate the elements that define the difference between then and now. There has never been a perfect time or place, but there have been times and places when the government worked smoothly enough to prove the brilliance of the Founders.

In the period of about 100 years, from 1780 (to pick a year arbitrarily) to 1880 this raw new nation, which had been a laughingstock to the smug European sense of intelligence and class, leapfrogged over every nation in the world—and IN THE WORLD is not an exaggeration—-to exhibit stunning new levels of economic prosperity, intellectual achievements, opportunity and personal liberty, to become a beacon and an inspiration.

When we look at the beginning of our decline (and again, 1880 is just a ballpark approximation) and try to analyze why we started to lose our momentum, the answer always comes back to shifting away from the federalist core of our Constitutional government toward a more powerful Central Authority.

This tells me that this decline can be reversed, at least to some extent, by returning to Constitutional governance. It will not be easy. Leftism is a massively powerful opponent, with a much more organized and focused strategy than that of constitutionalists, who have been primarily on defense and far from organized or focused. That means it will be hard, not impossible.

Do you have a link to what “Cue Ball” said about wet work, etc? I’ve had company all week and not been following current events.

      • dbschmidt's avatar dbschmidt March 23, 2024 / 3:04 pm

Interesting exercise as when I looked back over several sites where I had seen articles they were all gone. So I went back to standard searching using DuckDuckGo under a Brave browser to look up just James “CueBall” Carville and I got a hit on several videos along with articles on that statement where he must have repeated it across the MSM. I have included one below.

BTW, off-topic but look up an application called ‘KeePass’. Works well as long as you don’t corrupt everything like I did. Recovery still underway.

        https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2024/03/21/james_carville_biden_doesnt_need_to_do_the_wetwork_in_2024_people_like_me_can_do_that_for_him.html

      • dbschmidt's avatar dbschmidt March 23, 2024 / 3:08 pm

Should also clarify considering CueBall is wearing a USMC hat…in the business “wet work” only refers to one thing.

        Good catch…..

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona March 23, 2024 / 6:10 pm

I tried to think who would match the description “Cue Ball” and then googled ‘Carville wet work’ and found your reference. (I’ve always called him the Snapping Turtle but Cue Ball works.)

He tried to finesse the term “wet work”, halfheartedly, by saying it had something to do with “paid TV”. Well, the Left doesn’t have to pay for TV time, not with 90% or more of the lapdog media giving the Left tongue baths and attacking the Right for them. However, the phrase still caught my attention because that is a strategy I have been promoting for years now—-buying TV time. I’ve come to the idea of going to Glenn Beck’s studio in Dallas and working with him to put together well scripted, entertaining, pieces that we put on informercial channels. Not boring lectures or speeches, but things like good panel discussions, Gutfeld! with more focus and good scripts, dealing with things we need to get across.

Think of the most entertaining dinner conversations you’ve ever been in—lots of energy, laughing, talking over each other. So do that as one format, do some panel discussions, just get some conversations about the things the public needs to know but instead of lecturing them kind of make it feel like they are overhearing really attractive and interesting people talk about it.

I even did some research on infomercials, and found this:

Long-form infomercials account for over 67% of all infomercial programming.
More than 87% of U.S. TV stations air infomercials
Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video compared to 10% when reading it in text
45% of people watch more than an hour of TV infomercials or video content weekly
Men are 20% more likely than women to make a purchase within six months of viewing an infomercial
Major infomercial buyers are more likely to be Hispanic (45%), African-American (41%), or Asian (39%)

Controlling the script means controlling the narrative. Surely we can find some really talented writers and appealing actors to put together half hour segments covering the things we need to convey. What would happen would be meltdowns on the Agenda Media, but then they would be talking about the new approach, which would just attract more attention. And the more some Lefty talking head squeals about an infomercial show about one of Biden’s corruption schemes, for example (and the format would lend itself to in-depth coverage of each of them, not just our current scattershot litany) (1) the more the public would tune in to see what was being said, thereby exposing themselves to the graphs, transcripts and so on, and (2) the more opportunities they would provide to then discuss their hysteria on other shows.

And BTW, “wet work” is a lot more threatening than Sarah Palin’s “targeting” comments that had the Left peeing down their legs in outrage (OUTRAGE! I tell you!) over its implied threat. In the kind of approach I am talking about, a group of people sitting around a table at the end of a meal could start talking back and forth about the crude and blatant discussion of assassinating Trump, and compare that to Palin’s innocuous comments, with comments coming in from some about how the term “targeting” is so common and used in marketing, etc. but “wet work” is limited to talk about having people killed. It would be much more in-depth and make much more of an impact than some right-wing talking head looking ticked off, sitting behind a desk and complaining about it, because some of the characters in the little play could start tossing out references to “wet work” from different books and movies about Mob killings and political assassinations. And someone else could comment on how that whole thing has such a Soviet ring to it, leading to a five minute finale about Leftist assassination as a way of eliminating political opposition and how now it’s being suggested by a long-time Democrat operative.
