Vile anti-Semites have largely taken over many US colleges and in just a few areas, the authorities are moving against them – recently in Texas. Once this happened, quite a number of people on the Right got upset. You see, we’re suppressing free speech.
I am so very tired of this drivel – this Libertarian nonsense that I’m obligated to look after the rights of people who will have me shot at the first opportunity. There was a time when I believed that an open airing of ideas would lead, by and large, to the correct ideas being adopted. It doesn’t work that way. People lie – and liars lie because lies work.
Aging has-been Susan Sarandon was out there and when asked about the rapes on 10/7, she just flatly denied they happened. She’s lying. She knows they happened. We all know they happened. But she’ll bare face that out – because there’s no consequence to her for it. She’ll still be an honored person; the Left takes care of their own. And because people like her are willing to lie, the lies become commonplace…and young people, ill-equipped under the best of circumstances to detect a lie, fall for it. I’m supposed to let liars tell America’s youth that Israel is evil? That America is evil? That the Constitution I swore to defend has a built in mechanism for self destruction?
No. I won’t do it. I will not play by rules the other side rejects. Anything we can to do hamper the propagation of anti-American views and anything we can do to punish those who hold those views will be done. It has to be. Its either destroy these people or they’ll destroy us.
Polls are still going back and forth (though mostly favorable to Trump) but the official word from almost all Experts is that Biden has it in the bag. Maybe he does? Who knows? But with Trump stuck in NYC for his bogus trial what we’re seeing is outpouring of support from working class New Yorkers for Trump. Will Trump win New York City? Not a chance; the working class there is actually rather small – the connected rich and the welfare bums make up a majority of the population and they’ll keep voting Democrat. But I think it does show something…perhaps some sort of fundamental shift: the working class is turning to Trump. No to the GOP, but to Trump. So is the middle class outside of the government-supported middle class. The Democrats are the party of the richest and poorest Americans…Trump is the candidate for everyone else. We’ll see if that’s enough in November…and if it is enough, if the GOP is willing to see that their future is as a populist-conservative working/middle class party.
One thing that is an advantage for us is how utterly delusional the Left is becoming. One of the history accounts on X posted a video of Goering’s arrest in 1945 – where he’s turning in his weapon and about to have all his decorations and badges of rank stripped from his uniform. What struck me on that was the expression on Goering’s face: he was crestfallen. It was the moment when he knew that the game was up. Got to keep in mind that just before this, Georing was still working on the theory that the Allied leadership would want to talk to him. Himmler had similar delusions. That after all of WWII and the emerging evidence of the Holocaust, they’d still be players. Goering having his sidearm taken let him know that he was just another criminal being processed. He was a man who had completely separated himself for all human decency but who thought he was still human. Rely on it, not too long before that video was taken, he had hugged his daughter and told her he loved her…as if he was human. But, he wasn’t. Only repentance could have restored him to humanity. As far as we know, he never did. He play acted as a human being, but he wasn’t human. The plain fact of the matter is that he never loved his daughter…a man who can be instrumental in murdering millions can’t possibly love. But such a person can delude themselves into thinking they do.
So, too, with our Lefties. They think they’re human, but they’re really not. Once you’re at the point of nodding along with abortion to birth and having healthy body parts cut off of children, you’ve left your humanity very far behind. You’ll still play-act like a human, but you aren’t. As with Goering, only repentance can restore humanity. This is why we see the Left endlessly bemoaning the dead Palestinians while not even mentioning the dead Jews. They’re play acting. They don’t care about either. But the gambit for power is, at the moment, to support the Palestinians and hate the Jews…so one dead Palestinian brings forth tears…a Jewish baby burned alive brings forth nothing. This is also why as Christians are massacred by Muslims in Africa we don’t hear a peep…because the Left doesn’t care that they’re dead. It means nothing to them, not even in theory. Only if the deaths can help the Leftist gain wealth or power do they matter.
But this is not a strength. It is ultimately a fatal weakness. Just as it was for Goering in days gone by. When you get delusional you simply don’t understand how you look to sane people. You, in fact, start to think that the more delusional you are, the more admirable. You start doing increasingly stupid things to service your delusion…until it all comes crashing down. I think we’re at that point; we’ve tipped. Sure, the Left still has all the power, but its based upon people not figuring it out…and day by day, more and more people are figuring it out. The Left is just crazy…doing insane, stupid things. Think about this: the illegal immigration issue is simply killing Democrats in polling. They won’t even slow it down. They could easily do so; one crisp order from whomever is pulling Biden’s strings and border crossings will drop 90 percent. But insane people don’t respond to rational incentives. The Left is committed to the open border and believes that they are admired for it.
Polls don’t mean much at this point. half the country isn’t paying attention right now. That said, they do seem to be trending towards Biden. As for Trump picking up support in NYC, it doesn’t appear to be showing up at the courthouse. Meanwhile, Biden is doing all sorts of presidential things while Trump is napping in court while complaining about the courtroom being too cold. I don’t think that’s going to help Trump much.
There are no polls trending towards Biden.
Guess we are looking at different polls, but as I said polling doesn’t mean much now. That said, I do feel there has been a shift in how the candidates are coming across. Yes, Biden is old and says dumb things from time to time. Trump on the other hand seems to be degrading at a far faster rate. His vocabulary at this point is about the same as a third grader and he seems to lack energy.
We can always rely on you, Casper, to provide us the Ruling Class talking points.
The bottom line is that Trump is doing better in polling than he’s ever done before – as I’ve always said, particular poll numbers aren’t very useful, but polls are useful in spotting trends, and the trend is all Trump. He has never been as popular as he is now. Meanwhile, Biden’s approval rating – and trend! – is the absolute worst in post-WWII polling.
Now, does this mean Trump wins? Nothing is certain. As I’ve noted repeatedly, we might be too far gone to be fixed via elections. That is, so many Americans might be so buried in propaganda and so dependent upon government spending that we simply won’t be able to vote our way out of this. If that is the case, then that is that – we’re just waiting for total social and economic collapse to clear away the rotten edifice, whereupon we on our side will do our best to ensure that the replacement system is created by us.
What does amaze me is how disconnected Democrats are from what is happening. Self preservation would have them change course; this cannot be sustained. Anyone with basic information and life skills knows you can’t keep on with what we’re doing. But, nothing doing: Democrats are driving over the cliff. And that, as I’ve noted in this post, is because Democrats have disconnected themselves entirely from the human norm.
Biden is old and says dumb things from time to time. But to be fair this only happens when he’s making a speech or talking to people.
Casper, stop. There were a few outlier polls that claimed Biden made big gains. Very much outlier polls. That have since been contradicted.
Casper can’t stop. His history on this blog goes back 15 or maybe even 20 years, back to the days when he was posturing as a teacher at a middle school in Casper, Wyoming. I say “posturing” because based on what he said on the blog and from what I heard from parents in Casper (because I used to live in the general area) he was really trying to indoctrinate his students in leftist claptrap. After a couple of his more egregious revelations of total ignorance on the blog, such as claiming that if you believed in following the wording of the Constitution that meant you were in favor of bringing back slavery and denying women the vote, I asked if his administration and the parents of his students had any idea of the garbage he was teaching them. His response was a shrill and panicky whine that I was “trying to get him fired” which to me was a tacit admission of his guilt.
For some unfathomable and as far as I can see insupportable reason he seems to think of himself as quite an intellectual but in fact he just blindly toddles along after his masters parroting whatever he is told.
Exactly!
New Bombshell Evidence Emerges: Was Trump Set Up in Classified Docs Saga?
And the plot thickens. It shouldn’t leave any rational thinking person surprised.
The first things is testimony from an FBI agent who testified that the General Services Association (GSA) had been in possession of Trump’s boxes in Virginia before ordering Trump’s team to come get them.
So, it appears that the Biden administration may have been responsible for shipping classified information to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. This development is significant because Trump has previously blamed the GSA for packing the boxes that contained the classified documents, only to later accuse Trump of essentially stealing them and using that as pretext for sending the FBI to raid his Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022.

Great thread Mark … and I got a good laugh from Casper as he rushed in to prove your point. Casper notes that Biden “is doing all sorts of Presidential things”, what that is exactly Casper failed to note, or how any of those “Presidential things” have improved the quality of life for Americans. The problem I have with people like Casper, is that I prefer to live in a manner that is vastly superior then their ability to govern. In other words, Democrats are simply not good enough. It’s like having a spouse that doesn’t know how to work, clean, cook, or even make the bed. They are inferior people.
BUT there is hope …
The rule of law, respect for authority, tolerance of difference, and civil behavior are all core American values that higher education has thrown away and our national institutions are now scrambling to reclaim. Institutions’ experiment with placating activist intolerance is over.
Heretical Democrats days are coming to an end. Decency will be restored. The last 4 years have been an experiment in letting big government, educators, and their weaponized students run America. Those days are over. Time to put plumbers, small business owners, and normal Americans back in charge!!
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/04/road-back-normalcy-starts-where-problem-began-college/
Democrats desperately need to change America simply because they can not compete with normal people. They are not normal people

Casper, can you please explain this poll to us all? We all know, you’re the expert
https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/28/politics/cnn-poll-trump-biden-matchup/index.html
I think this probably comes as no surprise to anyone here except maybe Casper.
I think to most of us it was pretty obvious – the mere fact that they placed cardboard over windows of counting rooms is prima facie evidence of the steal. You simply would not hide the count if the count was honest. There is absolutely no other reason aside from fraud to explain such an action.
Here’s how I think it went down: polling showed Trump down all year long. It also indicated that, at best, he’d match his 2016 vote total…so, using mail in ballots the Democrats just stuffed away. Not just to get Biden to 270, but to also get him a majority of all ballots (things like scores of blank ballots showing up at one address in California support this). So, they did their thing and thought it was in the bag.
But then the votes started to be counted and they could see in States totaling more than 270, Trump was doing massively better than 2016 – after all, he did increase his vote number by nearly 12 million. In spite of it all, it looked like Trump was going to get it. So, stop the count; quickly manufacture new ballots, hide the count and then, once it was done, destroy or confuse the evidence.
The key to it all was that the Establishment was in favor of it – most especially the GOP Establishment. They wanted Trump gone. It was, of course, supposed to be a lot smoother. As I said, Trump was supposed to get as many votes as 2016 giving Biden a popular vote and electoral landslide. That they had to adjust the cheat on the fly busted it all up for anyone with common sense. Our GOPers were convinced that in Biden we’d get a do-nothing President who, sure, would push some liberalism but wouldn’t rock the boat. If Biden hadn’t gone gaga, that’s probably what we would have got…but even before election day, his mind was going. It is now Jill and aids working the puppet and the aids (and, likely, Jill) are far Left fanatics. This, I think, is why Barr (who totally knifed us when he declared 2020 clean) is now overtly backing Trump. Anyone with any sense at all sees that Biden must go: nothing is worse than keeping him. Even the GOP Establishment now wants Biden gone because they fear the far Left will produce a revolutionary Right which will sweep away the entire system…including their part of the kickbacks and sinecures.
After it was done, the official word was: Don’t talk about it. Trump, especially, was supposed to shut up. “Don’t dig up the past!”. But I think Trump is the nominee right now because he refused to go along with it. I think that RDS really missed his chance when he went along with it – he made a few statements throwing shade on the result when he should have been forthright about saying 2020 was stolen. Trumpsters in 2023 were ready to move on from Trump…but only to someone who they were certain would fight it out. Trump proved to them that he was the only guy certain to fight it out.

Remember when Trump was accused of attempted witness intimidation by threatening Pecker?
And remember the rush to correct this story when the facts came out? (Neither do I)
WHAAA? The man prosecuting Trump on invented charges invented a statement Trump never made that was later used to implicate him in yet another felony? And some slobbering lap dog media hacks then proceeded to claim that Trump actually did make the comment? Certainly, such things could never happen in our country. Could they?
So a little known internet “entertainment” rag came up with a half-assed correction to a false story. What about Joy Reid? What about the lap dog media? Where are their corrections?
(“boo-boo”—–blatant libelous lie—-whatev)
Just curious: If Trump were to sue Chris Conroy for slander (because after all Conroy did make a public statement that Trump had committed the felony of attempted witness intimidation) would Conroy’s defense rest on a claim that he is immune from prosecution because he made the comment inn his capacity as a prosecuting attorney not as a private citizen?
In other words would he employ the same defense that Trump is employing regarding immunity for acts that took place within his official professional capacity?
If Trump loses the immunity case, what’s to stop Biden from being prosecuted for human trafficking at the border, cocaine possession in the White House, etc. What’s to stop Obama from being prosecuted for gun trafficking into Mexico, or killing American citizens with drone strikes. It’s a very slippery slope, but Democrats don’t care. They ended the Judicial filibuster in a fit of rage, and that came back to bite them … this will too
Why do I like Tulsi Gabbard so much? I know her past is concerning but I think she is legitimately MAGA now, or maybe I’m fooled. Amazona often mentions that she is a reformed liberal … and I think Tulsi took that path too. At least I hope she did. I want to like her dammit. I think she is sharp
I’m not sure Tulsi Gabbard is a “reformed Liberal”. She might be a Liberal who has a few good ideas but as far as I can tell her core political philosophy is distinctly on the left. She IS sharp. She seems to have some pretty good instincts. She’s charismatic, attractive and intelligent. But she has as far as I know never rejected leftist political philosophy.
When someone like Gabbard or Fetterman or even Manchin expresses a hint of common sense I’ve always wished that someone would ask the question “why do you believe that this country is best governed by a massively powerful Central Authority instead of by our constitution?”
No one ever pins them down on the specific reasons that they are Democrats. Okay, in Gabbard’s case she stopped being an official Democrat and declared herself to be an “Independent” (AKA someone unable to pick a lane and stay in it.) But I have yet to hear her talking about a commitment to strict constitutional governance. She still seems to be a big government somewhat socialist Leftist.
So Democrat voters have now invaded Columbia University, are illegally occupying the University, threatening Jewish students, calling for intafada, and flying a foreign flag. But this is all acceptable to the Regime and their propaganda Media. This should give everyone a clear understanding of the fight in the front of us.
I want one Democrat to come here and tell us all again how bad Jan 6. Please. I want to tear you apart.
You can’t even get the average Democrat to explain why he thinks that the country’s best governed by a massively powerful Central Authority instead of by the votes of the people as we see with state sovereignty. The closest they can come is to admit that if that massively powerful Central Authority is trying to impose things that they like they think it’s just fine, though that’s a tacit admission that they support tyranny. As long as it’s their tyranny.
I’ve given up on trying to sort out the difference between stupidity (which is the clinical inability to understand something), ignorance (which is simply the lack of knowledge or information about something) and indifference to truth (which is awareness of fact but dismissing it because it doesn’t advance an agenda)——keeping in mind that all 3 of these characteristics can and probably are contributing to the overall identity of your average Democrat.
One of so many examples is the leftist screech that Trump acted as a dictator. This is based in part, I believe, on his rescission of many of the executive orders governing the EPA and/or the dictates of EPA bureaucrats which were treated as laws, although they did not originate with or be voted on by our elected representatives in Congress. So here we have ignorance (the lack of understanding that political appointees and/or presidents do not have the authority to simply make laws so any effort to do so can be rescinded by a a different president). In other words, this is simply a lack of knowledge. Stupidity may very well play a role as these people may actually lack the capacity to understand the complexities involved. (This is where people like Casper pop up.) And then of course there is indifference to fact. That is, these people might understand the process but they don’t like it because they want their agenda to be imposed on others regardless of the law. Slotted into this is the overriding power of Identity Politics where every position depends on the emotional reaction of the person to the official in question.
This jumble of emotion-based poorly understood and often conflicting elements, which forms the basis of most self-identity as a Liberal or a Democrat, is why it’s almost impossible to get any of them to provide a coherent explanation of their true political philosophy. Defending and supporting a candidate because “he’s not Trump” is not a political philosophy but I believe it is the basis for nearly all, if not all, alleged support for Joe Biden—–and it illustrates the shallowness and superficiality of Democrat “political” positions.
Stopping people from breaking laws and threatening people is not speech suppression.
Any more than demanding that election integrity is a “threat to democracy”.
Democrat-cy .
Cluster, I believe you were the first of us here to start paying attention to the Awan scandal—-that is, what should have been a scandal until it got squashed by the complicit lap dog media. That name popped up in something yesterday or the day before and reminded me of it so I just ordered a book about it. It’s called “Obstruction of Justice.” and it just got downloaded to my Nook account, so when I start reading it I might be coming back here and posting some comments on it.
It would be interesting if during the campaign someone were to put together a comparison of the challenges to national security posed by having documents assembled and delivered by the GSA to a secure room in Florida in a building guarded by the Secret Service versus the security breaches represented by Biden’s retention of confidential documents that were totally unsecured, the Hillary Clinton secret email server, which was acknowledged by several intelligence agencies to have been hacked by various countries around the world, Dianne Feinstein’s long term relationship with a Chinese spy, a member of the intelligence committee having an affair with a Chinese spy, and of course the Democrats in the House opening up their records to very shady people from Pakistan with no oversight whatsoever.
Aw yes, the Pakistani Family that ran the DNC Congressional servers, then when identified, fled back to Pakistan quickly. None of that passed the smell test. You probably know more about that than I do at this point, so if you have excerpts, please post them. I think it’s no secret that Democrats have aligned themselves with foreign interests, and are actively serving their interests over Americas
I just started the book and I’m already amazed at the sheer volume of crimes and offenses that these people committed with the Democrats providing cover for them. One of their many scams was stealing hundreds of 1thousands of dollars of Apple electronics and shipping it all back to Pakistan. And they had complete access to all the emails of something like 40 Democrat House members.
My favorite quote from early in the book:
Establishment Republicans might be more embarrassed by this book than Democrats. The Democrats portrayed here are scheming, dishonest and cutthroat, but at least they are good at it. They work with their allies in the media and the bureaucracy to accomplish their self-serving goals with Machiavellian precision. The Republicans meanwhile are apathetic, myopic, gullible and cowardly.
It will probably come as no surprise to those of us here to learn that Paul Ryan, who was Speaker of the House at the time, played a role in the cover-up. He didn’t seem to care about protecting the Awans per se but just about avoiding a scandal before the next election at the cost of endangering national security.
The Republicans meanwhile are apathetic, myopic, gullible and cowardly.
No truer words have been said
We have often spoke about how a civil war would erupt … I think we know now. If it does begin, it will begin on college campuses
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13369529/NYC-college-protest-NYPD-CCNY-City-College.html
Considering that most college campuses are gun-free zones, that could be interesting.
I remember that violent rioter a couple of years ago who, when faced with arrest, curled up on the ground in the fetal position and sobbed hysterically. His tough-guy violent facade fell away pretty quickly. I think that’s what we would be facing when it comes to dealing with campus protesters. Get the non-students out of there, get the foreign students deported, and what’s left is not going to be that hard to deal with. Especially when Mommy and Daddy start getting ticked off at how their money is being thrown away.
Unfortunately, it’s not Mom and Dad’s money.
I’m wondering if he’s going to get away with that. There have been challenges filed in the past when he’s tried to buy votes with this tactic. He simply does not have the authority to do it.
If I understand the student loan scam these loans are guaranteed by banks and other lending institutions not by the school itself. So the school got the money. And the banks get screwed.
Well, it didn’t happen after four kids got killed at Kent State, so I’m not sure it’s going to happen now. I think if students start getting kicked out of school and if foreign students start getting deported and cops start acting like that state trooper in Georgia (https://www.louderwithcrowder.com/frat-bros-asu-state-troopers-georgia?utm_source=LWCBlasts&utm_medium=email) and the police in Florida this whole campus thing is going to die down pretty quickly. Back in the 60s and 70s I don’t remember this kind of pressure on college administration. Now there’s a lot of public pressure, wealthy donors are pulling their money from the schools and the administrators are not getting a free ride like they used to. For all of our (legitimate) complaints about the Internet and social media they’re really coming in handy when it comes to publicizing the defects of what used to be thought of as higher education.
I now have to have my groceries delivered (more on that later) and last night I had a great conversation with the woman who delivered my groceries and brought them into the kitchen for me. And we agreed that now if we see a reference to Harvard Medical School or Harvard Law School, we automatically dismiss it as useless. That’s a pretty hard thing for the Ivy League to overcome. A lot of schools have been coasting on their reputations and the willingness of wealthy alumni to funnel millions or billions of dollars in their direction and that’s starting to change.
(I am reduced to using voice to text to be able to post so my syntax might be a little different and there might be some very odd substitutions of words that I don’t catch.
On April 2nd a new puppy took me out. I mean took me out. She darted in front of me, caught my ankles on her leash, and I did a full face plant on the road in front of my house in Florida. After a couple of days in the hospital a very good friend flew down, busted me out, got me and the dog and the cat loaded onto an airplane (which was quite a feat—we made quite an impression at the airports with the wheelchair, my face like hamburger, the mini zoo and the braces and splints that I required) and got us all back to Colorado. And since then I’ve been recovering with a broken left patella and a shattered right wrist and some facial lacerations that make it look like the other guy in the bar fight was using a broken beer bottle. The same friend has been taking care of the Murder Puppy for me and her two youngest kids have bonded with the dog so much I may never get her back. I’m making really good progress, can walk but just not bend the leg and hopefully I’ll get the brace off in a week or so. But navigating a keyboard and a mouse with a cast on your right arm is pretty difficult so I’m reduced to using a microphone and then trying to go back and clean up all the oddities that result in voice to text.)
At Arizona State University, police enlisted a crack commando unit to help clear out the encampment of cosplayers: frat bros. Police stood guard while the crew rolled up and tossed everything in the dumpster. The narration from the camera they/them makes this 10/10 content: “Blah blah blah, white boys, yackity schmackity, pig cops, derpity derpy derp.”
“Blah blah blah, white boys, yackity schmackity, pig cops, derpity derpy derp.” pretty much sums it up.
Sorry to hear about your accident. My daughter’s rescue puppy has taken her down twice resulting in ankle injuries each time. He also managed to take my wife down giving Her a concussion in the process. My daughter is finally getting him under control, but he is banned from our place for the foreseeable future. Puppies have way too much energy.
I’m learning that this is a really common kind of accident.
Geesh! Feel better.
Side note: the Tin Soldiers and Nixon did nothing wrong.
Agree But on the other hand, I remember the emotional reaction to watching those kids get shot. I remember the sudden sense of Us versus Them that swept across the country at the time.
All of these college protests began with …. Barack Hussein Obama
See? It’s not that hard.
