You’re only as old as you feel!
Which is why we feel like extras in a Walking Dead scene!
But, seriously: earlier today and last week I was doing cannon balls into my pool. Its heading to 99 here in Vegas and the pool temp is 80…but I didn’t just get in to cool off. I decided to do some cannon balls. You remember those, right? I do. And I remembered how to do them…though I suspect I made a bigger splash than I did as a kid. Don’t know why I decided that a cannonball was the thing to do; just did.
They are just as fun as they were when I was 12.
And it got me thinking that the world really is a magical place – I just think that as we age, we lose our awe of it. If you’ve read any of the Mirrors series, that attitude probably comes through…the feeling on the part of the Lontarians that our modern marvels are magical even if we say they’re not. I’m flip-siding that a little bit in the soon-to-be-released Home World where Hadwin notes that there’s something technological in the magic, as well. And, to me, there is.
I think it is important that we never get “too old”. I mean, sure: there are practical considerations. Someone not too long ago posted a meme saying, “remember when we used to jump out of the swing and just land ok? Them knees were fresh out of the box!”. I do not recommend anyone in geezerdom to actually jump from any height. But I think that in our spirit, we should still try to see the magic. That it is a miracle – even if we can explain it – that we’re able to communicate instantly across vast distances. But that its also a miracle when a raindrop falls or a cloud drifts by. Of course, maybe I’m just weird…but I do feel inside like I always have. I’m nearly 60 and I just don’t feel the slightest bit different from when I was 16. Sure, my knees hurt all the time and I have to get a magnifying glass out to read a label..but I’ve never lost that fascination with the world; and I feel very young.
Latest polls are mixed – and I mean, completely mixed. Depending on which polls you look at, both candidates are winning. This is not possible. Any honest polling of the same population would show roughly the same thing. Sure, you might get Poll A saying Candidate X is at 47.2, Candidate Y at 46.8 while Poll B shows X at 46.9 and Y at 47.3. That is normal statistical variation. But when Poll A says X at 52 and Poll B says Y at 51…well, they simply both can’t have majority support. They both can’t be winning. At least one of the polls is then lying – could be both, but definitely is one.
In my opinion, the most likely liars are the Harris-favorable polls. This is based as I’ve said all along on voter registration info, primary voting patterns, etc. We can add to it now a slight bit of early voting data which is also favorable to Trump. The objective facts that we can see show Trump doing well, not Harris…and so it is far more likely that the pro-Harris polls are nonsense. But, we shall see, shan’t we? It is all up to who shows up – Team Trump is banking on angry, irregular voters to not just tip the election in his favor, but to utterly bury Harris. He’s got a whole plan to appeal to these people and get them to the polls – the segment of the American population that is fed up with the Uniparty. Will it work? We’re going to find out.
NYC Mayor Adams got indicted. Democrats are citing this as proof that the Justice Department is even-handed. We GOPers immediately assumed it was revenge against Adams. There are lots of theories out there as to why they would go after Adams for what amounts to fairly moderate and common corruption (trust me, he ain’t the only one getting airline upgrades) but nobody is really sure. Is it because he dissented from the immigration? Is it a power play by other people in NYC government? There is a chance the power players in NYC are perceiving him a disaster but one who will be re-elected next year…maybe this axe was swung to get him out and get in a radical-left Mayor who will so turn everyone off that a Bloomberg or Guiliani will get elected next year? Who the heck knows…but whatever it is, it isn’t merely going after corruption (they’d have to arrest almost everyone involved in NYC government if they did that).
Zelenskyy showed up to dun us for more money – after doing a campaign swing in Pennsylvania for Harris. Infuriating…but he was probably ordered to do it by Harris. I’ve read that he’ll meet with Trump tomorrow. Naturally the GOP has already signed on to provide more money…and material; even though our own military is saying the cupboard is bare. It’ll take us years to restock our supplies…we simply don’t have the manufacturing capacity we had even 20 years ago. This whole Ukraine thing is a mess. But it did occur to me as Zelenskyy marched though Congress flanked by McConnell and Schumer that there in front of us was the reason why Vietnam lasted 8 years while our involvement in WWII was 3 years, 8 months: a failure of will. Simply cowardice.
Let’s concede for the sake of argument that Ukraine is vital to America’s interests – ok, if that is the case then you gather your forces, send them close by and then issue an ultimatum to Russia to pull back…failure to do so being casus belli. It isn’t an unusual thing. Heck, it happened pretty much right there in 1854. The Russians wanted to take advantage of the Turkish Ottoman Empire – Britain and France didn’t want Russia to do that. So, when the Russians attacked the Anglo-French sent a fleet and army and issued their ultimatum. The Russians didn’t back down and so the Crimean War came. After it was over, Russia was defeated and had to accept Allied terms. Maybe Russia would back down this time? Maybe not. But if its vital, you must take the risks.
And if it isn’t vital? Then what the heck are we even doing here? But it has to be one or the other. It is either vital, or it isn’t.
But they won’t do that – they won’t call it vital but won’t declare it unimportant. They won’t fight and they won’t surrender. Just like Vietnam…fight but never win. Or even try to win. So, we just keep feeding the fires of war and immense monetary cost to us and a huge blood cost to Russia and Ukraine. Anyone around here long enough knows that I’ve always viewed Russia as a potential ally. Heck, even back when it was the USSR I had no real ill feelings for the Russians as people. Keep in mind that Russia provided diplomatic support for us during the Revolution, staunchly refused all efforts by European powers to recognize the Confederacy and, of course, were our allies in the field in both World Wars. We also share a lot of strategic interests. But now that is all burned…I doubt that Russia will want to draw close to us after years of American money buying dead Russians…and this will include the hatred of Russians who are opponents of Putin and/or the war. And now we’re about to give I guess another $8 billion so that Ukrainians can kill Russians and be killed by same with no possibility that Ukraine can force a decision in their favor. Just disgusts me.
On the economy – the official Stats show everything is ok. OTOH, credit card delinquencies are heading into record territory. Lots of stories emerging about rising eviction rates (which does make me suspect that corporate landlords are giving citizens the boot because they can get more renting to governemnt-subsidized illegal immigrants. It is still far too expensive for most youngsters to buy a home (seen a happy/happy, joy/joy ad for a bank showing a happy 20-something living in a studio apartment he’s got a mortgage on…geesh!). Food prices remain ruinous. In other words, what the people are living in is bad…and likely to get a lot worse. I suspect this will play a role in determining who the next President is.
I remember when I was “almost 60”. Ahh, good times!
In the meantime, I’ve deducted three and a half “can’t stand Joe Biden” points now that he is making campaign ads for Donald Trump.
The funniest thing this year has been Joe knifing Harris from time to time – it is happening enough now that I’m sure it isn’t just senility…he’s sticking it in as backhand revenge for her part in ousting him.
Not sure which polls you are looking at. The majority of polls I’ve sen show Harris ahead, with a couple showing them even or with Trump a point ahead. The sites that average polls all have Harris ahead by 2 to 3 points.
There are a couple of reasons I’ve feeling pretty optimistic that Harris will win.
Trump and Republicans in general have pretty much underperformed what the polls said in the primaries and special elections since Dobbs.
The Harris GOTV operation seems to be doing much better than the Trump GOTV operation. After Trump took over the RNC, the GOTV operation was passed on to a couple of super PACs that don’t seem to be doing that much.
The Harris campaign just put a lot of money in Texas and Florida. Something one wouldn’t expect if it was behind.
It also seems like Harris is picking up endorsements from high racking Republicans aon a daily bases.
I’m still predicting Harris to end up with at least 350 EC votes.
I’ll try to explain this to ya, Cappy.
Today different polls came out showing Harris at 54% and 46% nationally. Now, I’m sure your “news” sources are heavily using the most Harris-favorable polls but my point is that I look at all of them and that’s why I saw those two polls…and its ridiculous. She can’t be both of those. At least one of them is a lie. Could be that both are lies, but it is dead certain that one of them is.
Now, I then moved from that info to note things like voter registration numbers, primary voting and, now, some early voting numbers. All of these are favorable to Trump…as well as the more anecdotal things like reports of yard signs and crowd sizes (there’s a guy who tracks candidate crowds via cell phone usage and he’s finding a huge percentage of Harris’ crowds are the same people showing up again and again…ie, bussed in).
What this all means is that the objective factors are favoring Trump.
The only thing you got is…polls.
Side note: former GOP people endorsing Harris might as well come with the tag line, “I am Donald J Trump and I approve this message”.
Yes the polls can vary a lot, which is why I don’t get very excited about individual polls. I look at the polling averages. It also matters who is being polled. A poll of likely voters is usually better at this point than a poll of registered voters.
As for looking at voter registration numbers, the numbers have changed a lot over the last couple of months since the Harris campaign started. Could be people either way, but I’m guessing it’s more for Harris. I also seen a number of interviews of Trump supporters who follow him from rally to rally. Crowd sizes seem pretty good sized for both campaigns at this point so I’m not sure that means much.
As for primary numbers, that is an area that Trump underperformed the polls, at least as far as percentages.
The Republicans endorsing Harris include members of Trump’s administration. We certainly don’t see a lot of Biden people endorsing Trump.
The main reason I think Trump is losing is because of the way Trump is campaigning. He seems to be changing positions daily, making promises he can’t possibly keep while alternately threatening and begging people to vote for him. His promise to “protect” women was just creepy and weird. He is finely not campaigning as a person in the lead.
“I’m guessing it’s more for Harris.” That pretty much sums up your political analysis.
What about Trump’s promise to protect women was creepy, or weird? Name a candidate who is not asking for votes.
In other words, please stop giving us these peeks into the fever swamp of your mind and the whirling, murky, fantasies that inhabit it.
Amazing. Gotta say, really impressed: you responded to not one of my points.
But I guess that’s how you’ve remained exactly the same the whole time you’ve come here – you simply will not consider contrary information and just keep rephrasing the talking points provided by the News Actors.
I look forward to bringing back all these giddy casper fantasies in about two months.
When you start from the basis that Kamala Harris is even remotely qualified to be president, it’s a long uphill climb to achieve any credibility in any other area, and casper’s continuing delusions about her huge EC totals do absolutely nothing to aid that effort.
He says “Crowd sizes seem pretty good sized for both campaigns at this point so I’m not sure that means much.” We don’t know for sure what crowd sizes mean, but what we do know is that they are massive for Trump and not just anemic for Harris but so bad for her that they have to fake it. Look at that Oprah effort. Some people in the seats, and then row upon row of pictures of people lining the area above the real people. The story is that these people are virtually participating via Zoom, but when you watch, you never see any of them move. Zoom calls are designed to let people interact as if they are present, but here it looks like these are just static photos of people. Not only that but whole ranks of these photos are copied and pasted in, in other places, to fill out the illusion that all these people were so committed to Harris that they were willing to sit in front of their computers to virtually “participate” in the Oprah tongue bath. (Which even Oprah had a hard time pulling off. Some of her expressions were wonderful, ranging from “WTH?” to “How did I get myself into this hot mess?” to “I hope I don’t have to try to make sense of this”.
The Harris people made a big deal out of a supposedly massive crowd meeting her plane, yet the crowd photo appears to be extremely Photoshopped. Again, some elements are repeated, a couple of oddities occur like a man in red who appears to be about ten feet tall stuck in the middle of the “crowd” and the people crowding right up to and almost over the bottom step of the plane and to the plane itself. Talk about bad security! The only way Harris could have gotten off that stairway would have been to plunge directly into a mass of people pushing right up almost onto the stairs.
We know she pays people to attend, we know she buses people to her “rallies” and even in the Oprah thing it was obvious that the people with questions were equipped with microphones in advance and given scripted questions, or at least the people asking the questions appeared to be trying very hard to remember what to say.
If some people enjoy Trump rallies so much they go to several, they do so on their own dime. They aren’t union members, for example, told to show up and being paid for their time. They are loving being part of this whole zeitgeist of love of country, optimism about setting it back on course, and appreciation for the man making the sacrifices (and taking the big risks) to make this happen.
About Harris enthusiasm—-I did finally see two Harris signs. Of course, I was in Boulder. And even there, only two. I’m close enough to Boulder to see, every now and then, a tattered old Obama bumper sticker and occasionally an old Biden/Harris sticker, but so far have only seen one Harris bumper sticker.
Here is one way polls can be misleading. Take three or four heavily populated states pretty much guaranteed to go Dem, and poll them extensively. Their polls are meaningless, as they are going to vote Dem no matter what, but the numbers from cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, DC, Baltimore, etc. can be folded into the national total to give the impression that nationally there is a lot of support for the Dem candidate.
What I want to know is what we get if we don’t poll those guaranteed Dem strongholds, and instead take the political temperature of the rest of the nation, which could theoretically go either way.
I’ve always liked the Dan Bongino down and dirty definition of Gaslighting: Lie, lie often, lie convincingly, and do everything possible to prevent the truth from coming out, but I saw an actual definition of Gaslighting the other day that made me think that Casper has been gaslit.
Big time.
It horrifically came out that in some recent polling 28% of Democrats wanted the assassination to succeed. Think about the mental manipulation that has gone on to get what amounts to tens of millions of people to want a man murdered.
It is why it is so crucial for everyone to turn off the TV…and for us, if we ever get power, to start hammering the MSM liars. Genuinely lives are at stake here. If we don’t win and punish the miscreants, a lot of people are going to die.
I’m not surprised that you believe that Harris isn’t popular. I’m sure Newsman, FOX and the other RW media is doing everything they can to keep you thinking that, otherwise You won’t be able to claim fraud when Harris beats Trump in Nov. I have friends who have attended some of Harris’s rallies and they would disagree with you. I’ve also seen claims from the left that Trump’s rally numbers are going down and your side seems to be losing enthusiasm. I don’t believe those either.
I’ve told you for years that I don’t watch television news. It is all drivel.
I get my news from reliable people who have been correct in the past – there are quite a lot of them. Some of them are even former MSMers who were either forced out or gave it up because they couldn’t take the rank dishonesty of the MSM.
You really need to stop listening to them – once you really sit down and think about how they cover things it all becomes so very clear that they are just regime propagandists. They will get up there on TV, all made up and sounding nice, and say that black is white.
Do you know what the smiling faces of your News Actors won’t tell you? That ICE says – in their official documents – that they have not detained 425,431 convicted criminals they encountered at the border.
This is convicted criminals. Among this gigantic numbers are murderers and rapists. They have been let go. By our government. To live among us. That is what your Kamala Harris has been presiding over. That is what she will continue if elected.
Why would you support that? Forget everything else – why would you give your vote as a citizen of the Republic to someone who looks at this data sheet – and if she hasn’t seen it then that is just another strike against her – and go, “this is ok”?
It isn’t ok. It is horrendous. It is cruel. Inhuman. And your proposal is to vote for a person who will keep it going. I have a granddaughter, dammit. We have enough dangerous Americans to deal with…why would anyone ok importing more of them?
But you’ll do it. You’ll vote for it. And then you’ll pretend you had nothing to do with it. You’ll blame Republicans. You’ll do anything but admit that you wanted this to happen…because in your mind Trump and the Republicans are the bad guys…not you. Not your Kamala. Oh, no! You’re just f*cking saints…burdened by Deplorables.
So well said, Mark. As I have so often claimed, I think most Democrats are Democrats because they want to be good people and the party promises that it is the short cut to the Higher Moral Ground. But as you point out, that delusion is getting more and more shaky, as it becomes harder to the point of impossible to keep believing that supporting the party is anything but supporting degeneracy, violence and evil. Now I think that BEING good is no longer the goal of these Democrats, but merely the ILLUSION (and more often just pretense) of being “good” delivered to them in propaganda saying that hating Jews is moral, hating some people for the color of their skin is moral, using poor people from around the world as tools to topple our Republic is moral, even that killing unborn children is moral.
The party used to claim that it was the Party of Virtue because it was against racism, against sexism, against war, against genocide, against abuse of political power, against human trafficking, against disrespect of women, against tyranny. Now that the party has made its massive lateral shift to supporting all of these things, it has counted on its ability to convince its sheeple followers of anything and started to simply refdefine “virtue”. Now it is virtuous to hate some people just for the color of their skin and discriminate against them; now it is virtuous to hate Jews and advocate for their genocide; it is now virtuous to support a system which slaughters civilians in sneak attacks; it is now virtuous to accept and enable war such as what we see in Ukraine; it is now virtuous to ridicule women by slavishly praising “drag queens” who viciously parody the worst stereotypes of womanhood; it is now virtuous to destroy the advancement of women in sport by allowing men to compete against them and take not just their trophies but their scholarships and commercial opportunities; it is now virtuous not to protect young children from sexualization but to sexualize children at a very early age by exposing them to graphically sexual materials in their school libraries; it is now virtuous to deny counseling to young children who mention any degree of confusion about gender identity and instead permanently maim them in the name of “transgenderism”; it is now virtuous to encourage poor people from around the world to scrape together money to pay and enrich vicious drug cartels to transport them to our border, with the women being subjected to rape along the way and thousands of the children and women being taken into sex slavery, with the promise that they will be allowed into the United States where they will be welcomed, housed, fed, educated and cared for; it is now virtuous to violate the rules of our own country to accomplish this; it is now virtuous to demand that Americans pay for this; it is now virtuous to violate our own Constitution by denying and even prosecuting freedom of speech; it is now virtuous to use the might and power of the State to intimidate, arrest, try and imprison political opposition; it is now virtuous for women to kill their own inconvenient children and to redefine the interference in reproduction as “reproductive health (or freedom)”; it is now virtuous to accept tyranny from the Left as seen in forcing people to inject an experimental drug (as part of government collusion with private industry, an element of fascism) as a condition of being able to work or travel freely; and it is even now virtuous to libel, slander and persecute people who do not agree.
The hysterical shrieking outrage of Democrats at having their cherished delusions of virtue exposed for the malignant rot they truly represent is proof of either their own inherent character defects or the success of Leftist indoctrination and propaganda—-or both. Because people with integrity and courage have the ability to examine indoctrination and propaganda and overcome them, the former appears to be the more likely explanation. When a Democrat ferociously defends his political choices, in the face of overwhelming evidence and even proof of its failures, at best, and evils, at worst, it is impossible to take him seriously as a decent human being.
You really need to stop listening to them – once you really sit down and think about how they cover things it all becomes so very clear that they are just regime propagandists. They will get up there on TV, all made up and sounding nice, and say that black is white.
The ugly truth is that there is some element of casper’s character that not only accepts this kind of distortion of truth and reality, it craves it, it seeks it out, and it reveres it. And it rejects anything that threatens it.
At least he tries to disguise this elemental attraction to the negativity of the Left as political opinion. (I can’t say “political ideology” because he has never had the courage to come out and admit that he supports a political system based on consolidation of power in the hands of a few elites who then govern/rule from the position of a powerful and controlling Central Authority—he just supports and enables those who represent and execute this power.)
And his fixation on Dobbs is downright creepy.
The bonkers and so on, no matter which aliases they may adopt at times to try to slink back onto the blog, don’t even bother with this pretense. They are openly and crudely motivated merely by the cheap thrills of finding and expressing the most hateful, hostile and negative things they can come up with or repeat, about the Invented Other of Trump and Republicans. They don’t even pretend to be motivated by a political belief: They just get off on being as nasty and vile as possible, the online equivalents of losers keying cars just because they are nice and probably belong to someone more successful than they are.
They remind me of dung beetles, by nature being drawn to the foulest material available to them and feasting on it, but then finding supplemental gratification by using it to try to attack others.
I never cease to be amazed at casper’s total lack of self awareness. He waddles in here to share his pathetic delusions and pretenses of political acumen, and it’s downright embarrassing—or would be, if he had the ability to see himself clearly.
When you look at the babble that impresses him so deeply, so profoundly, that he is compelled to come here to share it, you have to just shake your head in wonderment that anyone could be such a tool. He claims that observations of Trump’s appeal to Americans are just the product of claims by a few “RW media” (while constantly parroting the worst and most toxic of Left-wing media that have dropped even the thin pretense of journalism and now openly just spew hate and lies), he falls back on once more trying to convince us that he has all these “friends” who conveniently just happen to do, say and think what he is currently peddling, and he even admits that some of his prattling is based on “claims from the left that “Trump’s rally number are going down”—-while at the same time the Left is claiming that (1) rally numbers don’t mean anything and (2) Kamala has great rally numbers.
He knows we think he is a sad pathetic tool of the Left without an actual thought in his flabby little brain. He knows we dismiss his silly efforts to spread Leftist propaganda. He knows that nothing he ever posts here will be met with anything but derision and scorn. Yet he is compelled to keep coming back. THAT is truly sad.
He makes me think of the phenomenon of chronically abused children, who accept ongoing abuse because, to them, at least it is attention, and they crave attention even when it is hostile. Seeing an aged man continue to grovel for attention even from people who openly scorn and dismiss him is really creepy, even without factoring in the silly simple-minded propaganda nuggets he brings with him in an impotent effort to impress.
The polls that are consistent are the polls on the separate issues where Trump has high single, or double digit leaders on the economy, immigration, and foreign policy … now how that translates to a overall lead by Kamala makes no sense whatsoever. The media polls are trying to shape opinion, not reflect it and are as honest as their narrative is around Jan 6, the border, etc. I also just can’t be convinced that Americans will vote for demonstrably the dumbest candidate ever to run for office. That woman is bone deep stupid.
Meanwhile, Democrats are colluding with Iran to interfere in the election and help kill Trump. Think about that one. Iran sent all the hacked Trump information back in June and Democrats said nothing. Additionally, Iran has an active call for the assassination of Trump, there has already been two attempts, and yet Democrats are silent and hosting the President of Iran in DC. This is who we are up against, and who we need to eliminate.
This elected Democrat activist just admitted that the FBI and the DOJ are weaponized against their opponents. They are now admitting it out loud

Excerpt from Red Sky Mourning, Jack Carr’s latest in the Terminal List series:
The Terminal List book series is wonderful and this is going to be my next read.
I thought Brad Taylor’s Pike Logan series (that you steered me onto close to 10 years ago) was pretty cutting edge technology wise, but Jack Carr takes technology to a whole new level.
I’m re-reading some older CJ Box books about Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett, and it is interesting to see how Box incorporates political reality into fascinating stories that take place in the modern West. “Cold Wind” is a meticulously researched and detailed dissection of the fraud of wind power and its associated graft. The good authors can do that, weave fascinating and entertaining stories around cores of technological and/or political information. I recently read a book about an arson investigator that could have been a textbook on the science of fire. My favorite author of all time, Patrick O’Brian, was a master teacher about the British Navy during the Napoleonic Wars in books that were brilliantly written, massively entertaining and also BTW full of interesting information.
What I am seeing these days is people like Brad Taylor and Jack Carr bringing their military and technological and political savvy to the world of literature, and they are producing some fascinating work.
Casper and Bong, or Bonk, excuse me, are excellent examples of the typical Leftist Democrat these days. They are so consumed with their hatred of Trump, they would willingly support anything the Ruling Class tells them too. And that’s exactly how the Ruling Class planned it. Casper and Bonk are the useful idiots.
This is the America Democrats want …. and profit from, while their voters obsess about Trump

My most recent mental image—voters in Connecticut hiding their faces in shame and muttering “what the hell was I thinking?” as they get to see their Congresswoman (does Nancy Pelosi have exclusive rights to the title of Congresshag?) in her video highlighting their foolishness.
It’s looking like the Democrat Party decided to make this The Year Of the Cringe. I’ve been looking for the very similar video by Whitmer in which she, too, tries to pander to the youth demographic by trying to use current slang, in what was one of the funniest videos of this campaign season till I saw this gem.
Creepy doesn’t begin to describe it.
I found the Whitmer video. As bad as it is, it doesn’t even come close to the purple haired freak show.
One of the comments: How can anyone watch this and not realize that Whitmer is both a narcissist and clinically insane?
That Whitmer can post clips like this and still get elected by Dems is horrifying.
This seems like a good time to remind us that Whitmer has been considered as a presidential or vice presidential candidate.
LOL!!
At least she didn’t say anything was “rad” or “groovy”.
But the hair……..
I know Candace Owens isn’t very popular here but this is an interesting video. One of the things she points out is that the old black woman who is shown with a 20ish Kamala and identified as her grandmother probably wasn’t, as her grandmother actually died four years before Kamala was born.
There is nothing in her biography that isn’t faked – same with Walz. Of course, Obama was a huge fake as well; he only met his father once after his folks divorced and yet wrote a whole book about it…because he, too, needed to be black. Obama is still listed as African-American even though his African ancestry was never American…and was only in the USA for a few years.
Kamala Harris is, first and foremost, half Indian – and from a very upper-crust Indian family. Her Jamaican ancestry is, like most Jamaicans, highly mixed…there is definitely African blood in there but its some small percentage…maybe less than an 8th of her ancestry. And, once again, that African ancestry was never American. Her black ancestors never experienced slavery and Jim Crow in the USA…she has no shared experiences with the African-American community of the USA…but here she is, “the first black female Vice President”. Its all BS.
When I read the article written by her own father it referenced only Irish descendants, many born IN Ireland, except for one woman, who would be Kamala’s great or great-great grandmother (I forget which ) who MIGHT have once been a slave because the only time her name appears in a record she is listed as a “laborer” and that term was often used to refer to emancipated slaves. So this woman MIGHT have had some African blood, though by that time most slaves in that part of the world were of mixed race. What everyone skips over is that her husband—and by extension she herself—-was a major slaveholder.
Mark Cuban proves that there is a huge gap between being merely mistaken and being batshit crazy, boldly volunteering to illustrate the latter. His proofs: His allegations that
