Melania Trump had a short video promo for her autobiography where she said the dread phrase “my body, my choice”. The word is that she does fall on the so-called “pro-choice” side of the abortion issue – which is really no surprise given her background – European who grew up under a Communist system. She’s Slovenian but when she was born Slovenia was captive by Tito’s Communist Yugoslavia. All that woke garbage our kids are subjected to these days? It was being imparted in the Communist bloc decades ago. Not the bourgeoisie-decadent stuff like being sexually non-binary we have, but all the drivel about human life being of only subjective value. So, even though Catholic, it wouldn’t surprise me that she’s in favor of legal abortion (most Catholics in America are, as well – though heaviest support is, naturally, among the more nominally Catholic). But I have my doubts that she’s in favor of the absolutely lunatic, anti-human position the Democrats have – federally funded on demand to the moment of birth…and maybe a little after if the abortion “doctor” botches it.
This has sparked some intense debate on the Right – naturally with the Left gleefully joining in – and I understand the angst. It is just a plain fact that there can be no justice in a system which allows the killing of unborn children. If anyone is innocent, it is the child. If there is any situation where killing isn’t justified, it is when dealing with an unborn child. I get that. I understand it. I believe it to the depths of my being. But we have a problem here: we lost the fight.
While we were busy trying every expedient we could to get 5 Justices who would simply rule on the law and thus dispose of Roe, we didn’t really notice that in the overall culture, abortion was becoming entirely normalized. It is still viewed with distaste by all sane people, but we probably don’t have nationwide more than 25% in favor of a ban. It just isn’t politically possible for us to get anything like a series of pro-life laws enacted across the nation. Even if the deepest Red areas we are finding it difficult to so much as restrict the practice. People are resistant to us – and it is because the Left has successfully couched the issue as one of “choice”. Americans do not like being told they can’t do something. This natural inclination has been ruthlessly exploited by the pro-abortion liars of the Left.
And that brings me, once again and for the zillionth time, back to my main point these days: the lies are the problem. I got into a little debate on X with a fellow Righty who is sure that Trump is headed for a loss and in this debate I put out that if the mere truth were told on a consistent basis, Harris would be lucky to get to 30% of the vote. He felt that even if the truth were told, she’d still score at least mid-40s. I disputed that and I still do. I really do believe that once the lie is exposed, people do reject it. The trouble is getting the lie exposed – it isn’t enough to simply state the truth, the lie must be suppressed. In other words, we can’t have a debate between lies and truth…only truth must be allowed on the stage. And if the stage is held by truth, then people will act according to truth. Let a lie up there and at least some percentage will act on the lie…and if the lies are clever and ubiquitous, then you’ll find majorities in favor of lies. People still might make a mistake with truth, but they won’t do self-destructive things with it. Its the difference between telling a child that boiling water is hot vs telling that while having six other people say it isn’t. The truth will not win – the child will stick his hand in the boiling water.
I’ve talked before about some of the ways and means of crushing the lies but the first step in any such program is to obtain power. Without power we can’t do anything. If we fail to obtain power, then the lies will rule the roost and we’ll be led away in chains by liars. It is going to be difficult to get power. With a horribly bad economy, with the world on fire and with our two main opponents gibbering idiots, there is still a chance we can lose. As I’ve said, I don’t believe we will – I believe all factual metrics point to a GOP victory…but even if it is a smashing GOP victory, it’s going to be 50.5% of the overall vote, a 2-seat Senate and a 10-seat House majority. In other words, even if we win big this year…we’re just going to barely do it overall…and we’ll be faced with nearly half the population united firmly behind liars. To get to this victory and to continue to obtain victories long enough for us to enact real reforms – reforms which will allow us to really push back against liars – is going to require some tactical flexibility.
The Democrats are thermonuclear on the abortion issue. Here in Nevada I’d guess fully half the Democrat ads are about abortion. It is all ridiculous fear-mongering about what we won’t do – and can’t do: ban abortion nationwide. In this fight, Team Trump has decided on tactical flexibility on the Life issue…they’re trying to defuse the Democrats’ most potent weapon and make it, as best, a wash for them. Will their plan work? We’ll find out in a month – but I advise against complaining about it until we see. If it doesn’t work then we’ll have to rethink things…but if it does work and gets us a government that will stop prosecuting us for praying near an abortion clinic, that’s a win, guys. A big win. We must learn to take the win.
It is going to be a long, frustrating and at times very painful march to restore a semblance of American liberty and justice – it took us a century to lose this fight and it may well take another century to win it back. Step by step! The first step is to win.

Unfortunately, we’re faced with the chicken/egg problem. Our opponent has refined both propaganda and cheating to a level I would have never imagined a decade or two ago, and they’re suported by big business, academia, a substantial portion of our court and justice system, the vast majority of the administrative state, and 90% of the media – AND WE’RE STILL HOLDING OUR OWN. I don’t know the answer, but I do know that a significant portion of that answer involves God’s will, and I don’t pretend to know what God has in mind. I do know how it ends, however. The fact that OUR SIDE has not resorted to killing or imprisoning our opponents tells you which side still subscribes to the rule of law, (and which side doesn’t) but I’m not sure how long we can let our adversary punch us in the face without striking back.

That largely sums up what we need to know. While it doesn’t remove our day-to-day worries or concerns, it should allow for an inner peace. As the US Olympic runner Sydney McLaughlin recently said, her days leading up to her run were chaotic. Being a person devoted to God she kept hearing her inner voice say; “Keep your eyes on Me”. Ultimately, her runs were a huge success. We too would do well to follow that directive too.
In the 1990’s, the Democrat position on abortion was “safe but rare”, which was a reasonable position. Now? Democrats support infanticide. Talk about the boiling water. I think it would be wise to start steering “reasonable Democrats” (if there are any) back to the “safe but rare” position, and I think JD Vance did a very good job putting that in motion on Tuesday. Any good salesman knows that you meet your customer where they are at, and then incrementally steer them where you want them to go. Not all of them will go, but many will and that’s how we begin. It won’t happen soon, but maybe after 4 years of Trump, and 8 years of Vance, we may finally have the upper hand on abortion … meaning it’s no longer a federal issue and political football.
Abortion is murder, so if that is your “morality”, you have much bigger problems than abortion. You should reexamine your life.

Well we saw what the “foot in the door was” … they are now supporting abortion up until birth. BUT we have to win, and to win you have to be smart, meaning incremental victories is how we prevail.
IVF is murder then correct?
Given that a new, unique life begins at the very moment of conception, ANY willful destruction of that entity is murder. The typical process of IVF is to create numerous fertilized female eggs then carefully extract one or more to impregnate the woman in hopes that at least one will take hold. The rest are either frozen for a future time or destroyed. Those that are destroyed are in fact murdered humans at the earliest part of their life.

Do you realize that “clump of cells” can develop outside a womb? Using your interpretation, at what point does “it” transition into a human being with rights and dignity? I think you’ll find a wide varieties of answers to that question. Those who agree that abortion should be allowed have some personal cutoff point where it should be disallowed. To some, that point extends beyond the point where the baby is outside the womb. I think what you’ll find is; all of these arbitrary points beyond conception lead to the same place – guessing, taking a chance where if you are wrong, the consequences are grave. Are you really willing to place yourself in that position? Conception is the ONLY non-arbitrary point where a person’s life begins.
Technically we are all just “a clump of cells”, just a bigger clump of more specialized cells. Some posters indicate a status more related to the term “clump” than “specialized”.

Here’s an anecdotal story showing what Democrats have done to our country. Driving into work the other day I heard a local report of armed gangs in Phoenix breaking into work trucks around the Valley. One such robbery was captured on a Ring video showing the armed robbers holding AK47’s. The report was almost dystopian the way the reporter concluded the story, saying “and the perpetrators are known to be driving a white Camaro and carrying AK47’s …. in other news”. What???? In other news???? WTF??? We have armed immigrant gangs now roaming the streets of Phoenix and the local news report casually says …. “and in other news”. America has really changed.

A Christian judo Olympian has been punished after making the Sign of the Cross at the Paris Olympics.
According to the International Judo Federation’s (IJF) Disciplinary Commission, Serbian judo world champion Nemanja Majdov has been suspended for five months after making the Sign of the Cross while entering the ring during a July 31 Olympic tournament.
That defies reason and is disturbingly draconian. It seems to sum up all the other negative reports. That is, there is a growing international assault against all that is good – against life, faith, family and freedom.
Those determined to radically change the world must above all destroy belief in God, and especially Christianity. That is why they cannot permit even one Olympic athlete to make the sign of the cross or any other visible acknowledgment of the essential role of God in their life.
That sign threatens the totalitarians more than anything else because it risks opening many minds to their evil plans and generating mass resistance.
Now, all athletes should make a concerted effort to openly, in some way, appeal for God’s help and give thanks to Him for any benefits received, regardless of any consequences for doing so. Otherwise, they and we risk being subjected to much more unbearable pressures and threats in the future to comply with the Godless, ruthless New World Order that will deprive society of all natural freedoms and rights and a meaningful, happy life.
Similarly, Wyoming’s governor removed Dr. Eric Cubin, a radiologist, from the state’s board of medicine because the doctor supported a law banning “gender-affirming care” for minors. This development in a conservative state, reveals how deeply the radical, woke movement has infiltrated into positions of power in the United States.
Terribly harmful and insane “gender-affirming care” should be aggressively opposed by all medical professionals because of the personal devastation it has caused in the lives of so many children and older young people. It is a gross perversion of “healthcare” intended to destroy the natural sexual identity of men and women. –
Such twisted language / logic – “gender-affirming”?? A person’s gender is certainly NOT being affirmed by making pseudo-modifications using drugs & surgery, then deceptively attempting to calling it something that it is not. What is being affirmed is a person’s mental instability and denial of truth. The same is used to advance abortion – “reproductive rights”. They have to relegate the offspring to something other than a unique individual with rights, in order to sanitize its destruction. In order to advance the narrative, those not willing to adhere to the lie becomes a targets for all kinds of attacks & hardships. That the medical society has latched on to performing these horrific procedures along with certain politicians and the media, all for the acquisition of $$$, is a testament perverse state of the world. They either don’t understand, that money will be totally worthless when they ultimately stand before God, or choose to knowingly proceed with their evil anyway. Still, I pray for the sake of all that they change.
This is what Harris and the rest of the corrupt media have been covering up for the past 3 ½ years. I’m surprised Bidum can even wipe himself clean after so much crap. Not only does he not comprehend anything, but just to cover bases he lies about whatever he feels is the necessary response in order to appease who ever is questioning him.

What it really says about casper is his total lack of, or interest in, true politics and his dependence on the most superficial and petty illusions of political thought. It would never occur to such a shallow thinker, in spite of the years I have spent trying to explain it to him, that people with the intellect and integrity to be serious about their political decisions make them on analysis of the best blueprint for governing the nation, not on silly passing fancies about who is the most attractive for one reason or another.
We will never know how many “high level life time Republicans” are really deciding to vote for Harris, but we do know a couple of things about them. We know that if this is true their identity as “Republicans” was based on something other than understanding and committing to Constitutional governance. We can be pretty sure this decision is based more on an emotional dislike of Trump as a person more than on objective political analysis. We can be just as sure that their dedication to the welfare of this nation, and its future, and its people, is as thin as their purported political philosophy.
In other words, that they are just slightly different versions of casper, who has yet to explain a reason for voting for Harris other than she makes him feel “excited” and that he believes other people are “enthusiastic” about her, and that she is not nearly as stupid as she appears to be, and that her incessant lying does not matter, and that he prefers governing this country by a system which consolidates power in the hands of a few elites who govern from the top down from a massively powerful Central Authority instead of restricting federal power and keeping most authority in the states or with the people. Oh, and because she shares his eagerness to ignore the core immorality of destroying human life if it is inconvenient.

People take jobs for all sorts of reasons, not all of them giddy fanboi swooning over the boss. Good pay, the prospect of a stepping stone to a better job, wanting to be in the heart of politics, Mummy’s basement is an easy commute—-there could be as many reasons as, well, that vague “dozens”. Oh, you’re just talking about details. To understand casper, you have to zoom out to 30,000 feet so you can see the Big Picture—-do these people get excited when they see Kamala Harris? Do they slavishly follow polls? Do they hate Donald Trump more than they love their country? Actually a number of them have said they aren’t voting for Trump because he doesn’t follow the Constitution. He wants to be a dictator on day one. There are dozens of former Trump officials who have stated that Trump is unsuitable to be president. Many worked with him on a daily basis. Trump doesn’t care about the Constitution.
If anyone says Trump did not “follow the Constitution” they prove that they are as ignorant of the Constitution as you are. If he “want(ed) to be a dictator on day one” then why didn’t he do a single thing to act on this imagined agenda? He did two things, and two things only, that got the Lefties’ panties in a wad and let them howl “dictator”.
(1) He rescinded all, or almost all, of Obama’s Executive Orders. That image of him wiping out eight years of extra-Constitutional Executive Order rulings by King Obama is something they have never gotten over. They still twitch and whimper at the memory, and start howling again about Trump being just a big mean old “worse than Hitler” dictator. Of course they are not smart enough to realize that it was Obama who didn’t respect or follow the Constitution (openly wishing he had the powers of the Chinese dictator and bragging about the powers of his “phone and pen”) as he just issued order after order, edict after edict. Rescinding those excesses proved Trump’s allegiance to the Constitution, not the opposite.
(2) And he rescinded the extra-Constitutional de facto legislating by politically appointed agency heads who had been imposing the equivalent of laws through their various “rules” and “regulations” which had the appearance and power of law yet which had never been properly legislated by our only legal legislative body—Congress.
(BTW, “extra-Constitutional” does not mean what you probably think it means. It means “outside the Constitution”.)
In other words, he undid the dictator-like actions of Obama and Leftist-dominated federal agencies.
And he demanded of Congress, which had meekly been sitting back and letting all this happen, “Do your damned jobs”.
OF COURSE he is considered by some to be “unsuitable to be president”—-if by “suitable to be president” you mean treating the presidency as a kingship and ignoring Constitutional restraints on the size, scope and power of the federal government. His actual behavior as president posed an existential threat (literally, as in “a threat to the existence of”, not hysterically as the word is used by the panicky Left) to the carefully crafted extra-Constitutional power base the Left had constructed over the decades. Trump skillfully played Jenga with this power base, pulling out a piece here and a piece there, and the power structure was realizing that if he wasn’t stopped it would topple. He was breaking up the Corruption Central of having all the agencies cozied up in the Beltway, focused on their own power grabs and not on the purposes or constituencies for which they had been designed, by starting to relocate their head offices. That terrified the Left.
You and your Fellow Travelers can bleat all you want about Trump “not caring” about the Constitution but all you do is prove that bleating is the correct way to describe your noise making, as it is the sound of the sheep you so closely resemble. You are given a simple, simple-minded, message and then you obediently bleat it wherever you go, without the slightest idea of the sheer idiocy of what you are saying.

Without question, she is one of the dumbest women in America. Like Valerie Jarrett, and most Democrats, Kamala has failed upwards.
The look on her face is wonderful. I was watching the crowd behind her, knowing that as union members they might not have had the freedom to deny being placed there and looking for any signs of true enthusiasm or even agreement, and as she started to stumble after her emotional support prompter quit working the black man on the left side of the screen (behind her and to her right) lowered his sign and made a gesture I can’t interpret but it seemed like he was purposely sending a message. I’d love someone familiar with these kinds of gestures to tell us what he meant. Given her babbling at the time it’s hard to think he was indicating support for what she was saying.

The story shows that most of America is still good and generous and courageous and kind, but that this often bumps up against the callous disregard for human decency represented by the Left. The Left does not see people as human beings but merely as pawns to be moved around in the game of achieving and retaining power.
It’s the heart and soul of collectivism—-the concept that society is not made up of thinking, feeling, individual human beings but merely of demographics that can then be treated as categories and not as individuals.
I might be the last person to question the Natural Born Citizen aspect of Kamala Harris, but recently a commenter on another site brought it up and it has been rattling around in my brain. And I can’t find out when her father was naturalized, or if her mother ever was. If Donald Harris was not a citizen when Kamala was born then she is not a Natural Born Citizen. Period. All accounts of the timing of her father’s naturalization are vague—“at some time he was naturalized” or “he later became naturalized as a U.S. citizen.”
She was born in 1964, and we know that her parents met while in college in the US in 1962 and married in 1963. Given the length of time it usually takes to go through the naturalization process, even if this was initiated before his marriage it is unlikely that Donald managed to become a citizen within two years. I would think that a skilled journalist/researcher could find the date of his naturalization.
Supposedly this was brought up when she was named as Biden’s running mate, but I don’t remember that, or paying much attention at the time. Given the massive PR effort to rewrite her history (now it seems she was celebrated not at the first Indian Senator but the first black woman/Indian Senator, etc.) I can imagine how quickly this was attacked and swept under the table.
