The Republican Statewide early voting lead in Nevada ended up last night at 44,500. That is a lot. That is unprecedented. In 2020 Democrats had an 87,000 vote lead going in and Biden ended up winning the State by 33,000. Today is the last day for early voting in Nevada and if the Democrats don’t have a massive turnout then Trump is going to win this State and its 50/50 on Brown beating Rosen.

Republicans lead in North Carolina early voting.

Democrats aren’t allowed to look at Florida early voting totals because it will make them cry.

Jobs report came in at 12,000+…and you know that will be revised down to show job losses. Inflation also remained high. Employment and income are rather important election-drivers. Perhaps even more than the desire of a blue haired middle aged lady to get an abortion.

Via manipulated data, the Administration has tried to make out they’ve been an economic success and we, sadly, know that this propaganda line works to a certain extent – but only with people who are not having a hard time. And people are hurting out there. My bet is that we’ve had no real economic growth at all since COVID. And it will be reality that will ultimately drive this election result – you can hide this in this stats month by month, but it is real:

If you attend to social media, do keep in mind that there will be Dooming. It is infectious and we GOPers have been conditioned to accept it. None of us are immune to the propaganda no matter how wise we are…and deep in our hearts has been set the notion that we just can’t win. Doomers – most of whom are paid by Dems – play to that. To discourage…to, if nothing else, save a couple marginal seats downballot for the Democrats. Don’t fall for it! Bolt a smile on your face, say your prayers, vote and lets see what happens.

Rocks and his girl Kamala, were just busted for another YUGE lie, contending Trump wanted to end Obamacare. Here is the language in SECTION 1 of the statement from Trump …

“…it is imperative for the executive branch to ensure that the law is being efficiently implemented, take all actions consistent with law to minimize the unwarranted economic and regulatory burdens of the Act, and prepare to afford the States more flexibility and control to create a more free and open healthcare market.”

Trump was simply improving and trying to make the cumbersome law less expensive for people.

Socialists lie all the time, because they have to

Dude, the very first sentence of Section 1 reads “It is the policy of my Administration to seek the prompt repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.” Maybe you don’t even realize that this is the act known as Obamacare.

      lol

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 1, 2024 / 12:38 pm

AS AMENDED … meaning stripping out more regulations. You’re a liar

It is the policy of my Administration to seek the prompt repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148), as amended

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 1, 2024 / 1:03 pm

Right. As ammended. As in amended in 2010. Do you not understand what the word repeal means? There’s no further point in discussing this with you. Enjoy your sweltering weather.

Trump was just trying to lower costs for people … here’s section 2. C’mon Rocks, you’re on the wrong side of history. Join MAGA

… agencies (agencies) with authorities and responsibilities under the Act shall exercise all authority and discretion available to them to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation of any provision or requirement of the Act that would impose a fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden on individuals, families, healthcare providers, health insurers, patients, recipients of healthcare services, purchasers of health insurance, or makers of medical devices, products, or medications.

You’re missing the point. Yesterday Trump said of repealing Obamacare, “I never mentioned doing that, never even thought about such a thing.” That was a lie, as the Executive Order you copied from my earlier post makes clear, and which even you now acknowledge. The fact that he lies so blatantly points to his character, which was the context in which I made my original point in the previous thread. But thanks for carrying it over to here.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 1, 2024 / 3:13 pm

Well …. and AGAIN, it’s VERY clear Trump wanted to lower the burdens of Obamacare, and if you hadn’t noticed, Obamacare is not working real well.

What is it with people like you?? You just want to believe things that are not true. Just like climate change.

Sounds pretty good for the Republicans unless you factor in that probably 10% of the Republicans and 60% of the Independents will vote for Harris.

Yeah, rural Republicans have longed for Harris and now get their chance…

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 1:40 am

Well, she is an answer to a dream. She has so much to offer. She is so smart, so articulate, so confident, so accomplished, so charming, so focused. And so SMART! Why, she was able to explain space. And time. In ways no scientist has ever been able to do.

I know I look forward to her sitting across from the president of Russia and explaining to him that Ukraine is a small country and Russia is a big country. He might even take notes.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 1:50 am

10% of the Republicans and 60% of the Independents will vote for Harris. Because she has SOOO much to offer! Even more illegal immigration paid for by the government, an economy still crippled by regulations imposed by unelected bureaucrats, raising taxes, pushing the losers of wind and solar energy over nuclear and petroleum, killing the auto industry, banning private health insurance, maiming our children and sexualizing them at early ages—she’s the gift that will keep on giving.

And Tim! Don’t forget Jazz Hands Tim, the best friend in government the CCP could have.

When a hardcore radical Marxist professor who teaches radical Marxism lives a few miles from his daughter and wants nothing to do with her, even as she running for president, because she is too radical, well by golly she sounds exactly like what this country needs!

I read the Nate Silver piece earlier. I agree there are some things going on with the polling, just not the way he describes. Republicans have been flooding the zone with a lot of poorly done polls that make it look like Trump is winning.

That said, things are starting to fall apart in the Trump campaign. The biggest advantage Harris has right now is her GOTV operation. Millions of Democratic leaning voters are being contacted daily being urged to vote. The ground game is what will win the election for her.

      • Mark Noonan's avatar Mark Noonan November 2, 2024 / 2:04 pm

The ground game does win it – which is why Democrats are trying to gin up turnout in the bluest areas…which is of course what a winning Democrat campaign does in the final weekend.

You better hope Indy’s break 60/40 for Harris or you’re cooked.

In the end, Cappy, I think that “I hate Trump a lot!” isn’t going to be a winning message. For goodness sake, Harris is VP – she could have gone to Joe six weeks ago and worked up a program to provide all sorts of goodies on an emergency legislative program and had them all voted on in the Senate, leaving the ball in the Trump/House GOP court as they tried to decide whether to let Harris pass out candy or be the meanies who don’t want to help.

We’ll see what happens Tuesday. None of know what will happen – but every metric right now looks good for Trump, even the most favorable Democrat polls which still show Trump polling better than he ever has.

      • casper3031's avatar casper3031 November 2, 2024 / 2:40 pm

“The ground game does win it – which is why Democrats are trying to gin up turnout in the bluest areas…which is of course what a winning Democrat campaign does in the final weekend.

You better how Indy’s break 60/40 for Harris or you’re cooked.”

You go after the voters most likely to vote for you and yea, that means working the bluest areas. As for rural Republicans voting for Harris, it won’t be a lot. Maybe 10%. If Harris gets that 10% and goes 60/40 with Independents, Trump is the one who is cooked.

      • Mark Noonan's avatar Mark Noonan November 2, 2024 / 10:58 pm

You are correct: if Harris gets 10% of the GOP vote and 60% of the Indys she will win – absolutely no doubt about that.

There is not the least indication she’s anywhere near that. Most accurate polls have her topping at 5% of the GOPers…which is what the Dem normally gets while the GOPer gets about 5% of the Dems. Indys are polling usually with a Trump advantage but there’s no way to know how they voted until its counted.

But to put you in a bad mood, what is astonishing is the level of GOP turnout in the deeply Republican areas…and that’s why Harris has spent time in Milwaukee and Philly…the votes just aren’t coming in there. Some analysis has Democrat overall turnout down 20% from 2020…when Dems had Covid to allow mailing out ballots to everyone who then didn’t have to get off the couch to vote. Now, it could be that these 2020 mail voters for Biden turnout on Election Day…but if they don’t we’re all able to go to bed early. And there’s zero indication they’re going to show up.

To make you feel even worse – in Nevada there is a GOP early vote advantage. This doesn’t happen. In 2020, the Democrats had an 87,000 voter registration advantage and won the State by 33,000 votes…this year, their advantage is 9,000…and the GOP has a lead in early vote. Unless Indys are thermonuclear for Harris on Election Day, she simply doesn’t have a chance…and there’s a better than 50/50 chance she takes down Rosen with her.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 1:37 am

And if more votes are cast for either candidate, that is who will win, Captain Obvious.

And if a Democrat precinct has 20% more votes than voters, well, that’s Dems for you.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 2, 2024 / 3:08 pm

Democrats shouldn’t have missed the shot and killed Trump because now Americans are going to elect him and shove him down the collective throats of Democrats.Republicans have big early vote leads in the swing states which is so big even if 10% break for Kamala we still win. Americans are tired of being treated like second class citizens

      • casper3031's avatar casper3031 November 2, 2024 / 3:23 pm

It wasn’t a Democrat who took a shot at Trump. It was a Republican.

I’m not sure where you are seeing these big leads by Trump in swing states. Most seem to have Harris up and considering that Women are voting at a much higher rate than men, it doesn’t look good for Trump.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 1:36 am

“It was a Republican”. Yeah, those labels never lie. You can tell everything you need to know about someone by the letter on his lapel on any given day. How did he vote? Who did he support? How did he live? What did he read? What was his political philsophy?

Who cares? That’s all crap that only thinking people pay attention to. casper, now, he’s a label man. He’s an Identity man. When his tribe was fretting about how to dump Kamala because was such a disaster as vice president he was fine with that, but when his tribe did a 180 in about 24 hours and decided to reinvent Kamala Harris why, by golly, he was leading the parade and enthusing all his JOY for the chance to follow her to glory.

If it isn’t superficial, it’s got no appeal to casper.

      • casper3031's avatar casper3031 November 3, 2024 / 12:29 am

        Mark,

“You are correct: if Harris gets 10% of the GOP vote and 60% of the Indys she will win – absolutely no doubt about that.”

There are a number of reasons I feel this way. For one, Ann Selzer’s Iowa Poll just dropped today. It is one of the best high quality polls out there and it shows Harris leading by 3 points. This is Iowa, a state Trump easily won twice before. If Iowa goes for Harris, a lot of other states are also going Harris.

Second reason, is the number of Republicans endorsing Harris. I’ve never seen as many members of a candidates party endorsing the other candidate as I have this election. I have to believe there are a lot of other Republicans that feel the same way.

Third reason is the number of women voting. Women as a group have been trending towards Harris. Women have been voting at a much higher rate this election than men.

Overall, I’m feeling better every day.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 1:05 am

Yeah, I’m sure you’re feeling better. Of course you have no actual solid rational reason to feel better about the prospect of a Harris presidency, at least none you have shared. You said you were excited about her economic policies, but as no one else has been informed of any such POLICIES, just vague concepts, that’s a little questionable.

You just keep snuggling up to those polls and wishing on stars and counting on fairy dust and stay joyful.

      • Mark Noonan's avatar Mark Noonan November 3, 2024 / 10:11 am

Cappy, you really do have to broaden your outlook. Selzer has a great reputation…and she just burned it last night.

First off, she leaked it to the Left – she had never done that before. It was being bruited about on social media for 24 hours before the release. That leak shows there was a fully partisan political effort behind the poll.

Then when people examined the cross tabs, it is shown as ridiculous. She’s getting responses from various groups that bear no relation to reality. Its laughable how badly she manipulated her own poll just to help Democrats with their closing psy-op of discouraging GOPers from voting late.

And a couple hours before Selzer dropped her poll, Emerson showed Trump up 10 in Iowa. You can latch on to Selzer if you like – but with a 13 point differential either she or Emerson is just lying. We find out Tuesday which one it is.

Side note: Atlas Intel, one of the most accurate pollsters of 2020, has Lake up in Arizona. Sure, I’m taking that with a grain of salt…because I’m not like you, Cappy, I don’t just believe things that make me smile…but the early vote in Arizona does show this as possible.

      • casper3031's avatar casper3031 November 3, 2024 / 1:19 am

“Yeah, I’m sure you’re feeling better. Of course you have no actual solid rational reason to feel better about the prospect of a Harris presidency, at least none you have shared.”

Except the Iowa poll, The number of Republicans endorsing Harris and the number of women voting.

“You said you were excited about her economic policies, but as no one else has been informed of any such POLICIES, just vague concepts, that’s a little questionable.”

The policies are all on line. Feel free to look them up. They sound much better that Tariff, tariff, tariff.

“You just keep snuggling up to those polls and wishing on stars and counting on fairy dust and stay joyful.”

I will and you keep sanewashing Trump.

“sanewashing ” My oh my, you really are into this propaganda lingo now aren’t you? Something about Kammy seems to have you, as you candidly admitted, EXCITED and now you’re all over the narratives. With great joy. She’s even gotten you talking smut.

And BTW, a concept is not a policy. Admittedly, it’s all she has and evidently perfectly adequate for the Identity crowd, but still… And it’s really funny that whenever a Kamfan is asked a simple question about a policy detail the response is always “Go to the website. It’s all right there”. Except for one time I was told to go to Google for answers. But I guess there really aren’t many ways to admit that none of you have a clue, or that you know it’s empty hopium and don’t want to admit it.

BTW, you really ought to stop lying. Trump doesn’t just parrot a word. He has repeatedly explained tariffs, the history of tariffs, when they worked, why they work. I know, it’s just too many words and ideas, but for at least half of the country there is no problem understanding it.

  2. Cluster's avatar Cluster November 2, 2024 / 5:54 pm

Trump is up in the States he needs and considering he is polling way better than he ever did 2016 or 2020, his final vote count will be more than enough to win. He got 73 million votes in 2020 and I suspect that number will be over 85 million this time around. And Casper you are a complete hypocrite and really boring. First of all, you have stuck with a party that is now pro war, pro censorship, and pro big pharma which is the antithesis of everything Democrats stood for as late as the 1990’s. And you have such an incurious mind that you come off as placid and painfully boring. The CIA tried to kill Trump just like they did JFK. That’s your government hypocrite.

    • casper3031's avatar casper3031 November 2, 2024 / 6:49 pm

      Cluster,

Since my party isn’t prewar, pro censorship or pro big phase I’m not too worried about your other claims. I wouldn’t be surprised to se Trump get 85 million votes this time around which would still put 10 to 15 million behind Harris. If the CIA had tried to kill Trump they wouldn’t have used a registered Republican who couldn’t make the high school shooting team. They would have used a real sniper who wouldn’t have missed. I’m more inclined to believe that the “assassination attempt” was set up by the Trump team with the shooter instructed to miss.

The polling was off in 2016 and 2020 because the pollsters weren’t sampling enough Trump supporters. They have all adjusted their polls since and are probably under sampling Democrats this time. There has also been an unprecedented number of Republicans endorsing Harris. I tend to believe that there is a lot of Trump fatigue going on. People are tired of the constant drama.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 1:31 am

When and where did he call our country garbage? Quote and cite, please. Now that you’ve started lying you need to start backing this kind of thing up. Stop your generic obsessive anti-Trump whining and get specific.

Or are you thinking of Joe Biden (for whom you would have voted if Kamala had not mounted a coup to kick him out) who said Trump supporters (at least half of the country) are garbage?

BTW, I watched three different clips of the Trump episode where he allegedly did something kinky with a microphone, and didn’t see it. The complaints were not as crudely specific as yours, but even the watered-down less strident comments were baseless. He mimed trying to extend a low mic stand, to illustrate that it would not stretch. I guess to a certain mentality any similar movement would call to mind a sex act, but that’s not on Trump.

And if you think tugging on a mic stand is imitating a blow job, I can only refer you back to Spook’s quote from The Princess Bride—-“I do not think that word means what you think it means”.

And here again, any 1990 Democrat would be horrified by this but not the New Democrats, right Casper? All of sudden you’re now for big government and big surveillance. Hypocrite.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 11:27 am

Actually, Cluster, casper is only all about big government and big surveillance and big war and so on by default, because it’s not like he has actually sat down and THOUGHT about these things. No, cappy don’t do thought. No, what the caspers do is latch onto an emotion that gratifies them and then run with it, doing whatever it takes to feed that emotion and keep it energized, unaware of and indifferent to the underlying structure of the political system they are blindly enabling and supporting.

For cappy it seems to be his new crush on Kamala. My gosh, reading his gushing over her and his admission of being EXCITED by her and being JOYFUL about her is like reading a teenage girl fan club entry. For people like RockCow it’s darker and uglier, as he is and always has been motivated solely by whatever gratification he gets from just attacking people and what matters to them. Actually, I think it was probably one of his earlier incarnations that prompted my term “blog vandal”.

The thing is, casper is so smitten by Kamala that he has had to become a supporter of all that she stands for—–gloating over the ability to use power to destroy peoples’ lives, plagiarizing other peoples’ words and ideas, employing Cloward and Piven strategy to bring the nation to its knees so her radical Leftist philosophies can gain control, striving to make the State the seat of all power, inventing whatever personal history might generate the most voter support, even the history of using sex to get appointed to positions of authority and status. And now he has truly become One Of Them, proudly dragging out lies from the sewer to post here.

He’s actually delved into the smut side of TDS, posting the newest version of the pee tapes–in this case claiming a sex act with a microphone. While we know that these people lie because they have no respect for the truth and only care about what will advance their current agenda, there is also the Rorschach aspect.

Rorschach wasn’t the first to suggest that a person’s interpretation of an ambiguous scene might reveal hidden aspects of that individual’s personality and to realize that when one person sees a flower in an ink blot and another sees a bloody wound the two differing interpretations are really projections of inner thoughts and emotions and often of pathologies. The test is described as is a type of projective assessment and the key word here is “projective”. These rabid Trump haters see what they want to see, need to see to validate their pathologies.

I keep this in mind when I read claims that Trump somehow in some way imitated a sex act with a microphone. These people either see what their inner pathologies project or they simply lie and make stuff up. Either way, they are creepy losers.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 3, 2024 / 12:01 pm

“Creepy losers” is a good definition and I think that is why we see the rural voters coming out in YUGE numbers. Normal Americans are tired of creeps that now dominate the Democrat party. Normal Americans don;t want men competing against women, they don’t want cross dressers parading in front of children, they don’t want to bail out criminals, they don’t want to invite the worlds criminals to come to America … they simply don’tr want Democrats anymore

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 12:01 pm

It’s when you look at the search of the house that it gets really sinister. They went in to confiscate two wild animals because they were living in a house with people who did not have special permits to allow this. The special permits were being processed but had not yet been fully approved.

Yet they forced the residents to sit outside for five hours while ransacking the entire house, including dismantling a toilet (a common hiding place for illegal wildlife ?) and engaged in brute force intimidation and harassment. They said if one of the residents needed to use the toilet it would have to be observed, and grilled the woman on her immigration status. None of this had anything to do with anything. If they had a warrant to seize a squirrel and a raccoon, once the animals were taken there was no reason to ransack the house.

Until the Gestapo arrived, the squirrel had never bitten anyone, and there is a question about whether he even bit one of the storm troopers as they were all wearing gloves. So the claim the squirrel had to be killed to be tested for rabies because of the bite is blatantly false, as the search predated the confiscation.

There is literally not a single aspect of this entire escapade that can be justified. It was an exercise of brute force and State power and was inexcusable on every level. And it is a warning about what happens when the Left has power. Much like Kamala’s giggling and gloating over how the power of being able to, “with just the stroke of my pen”, ruin peoples’ lives, much like an armed SWAT team arresting a man in a busy airport on a nonviolent process crime charge, this is a lesson we should learn now, to avoid being the next targets of people like this.

This time it was a squirrel who had to fear a 3 a.m. knock on the door. Let the Left gain more power and it could be any of us.

        Cluster,

Just for your information, in the nineties I went between librarian and Republican.

      • Mark Noonan's avatar Mark Noonan November 3, 2024 / 7:17 pm

And you’ll just keep on voting for the people who think we need to raid a home over an illegal squirrel. You won’t think about it. You won’t adjust your views. You won’t for a moment go, “hey, wait a sec: this is just stupid. It was a squirrel. Even if a law was broken, that’s something for a fine and then get the guy permitted for the animal…not raid his home and then kill the animal. Only a f*cking lunatic would do that. Who the heck have I been voting for?”

None of that for you – you’ll look at this and go, “whelp, don’t like it but if it means that the girls can get abortions, gotta have it”…

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 9:46 pm

And this matters…how? If you were hanging out in the library you had plenty of time to research the opposing viewpoints of how to govern the nation, yet based on what you have shown us, you just went with whoever floated your boat—or inner tube—because you have yet to indicate understanding of either of those political models.

      • Cluster's avatar Cluster November 3, 2024 / 2:10 pm

You were a librarian in the 1990’s?? (I knew what you meant). But you’ve always been pro war? Considering you were a Republican in 90’s, that can be the only conclusion. I did not vote for Bush II and instead went with Clinton in ’92 because I felt that Bush II was not an America first guy, and to eager to go into armed conflict. And that pro war position has now been adopted by Democrats, so at least your consistent.

        We’re doing it for Peanut!

And the Left doesn’t even understand why this thing – small in itself – is resonating.

They tell us they have to let criminals go. That they can’t enforce the border. That oh well darn it if Joe Biden actually broke a law, nothing to be done…but then they go all Gestapo on a guy and his pet squirrel. They are telling us they think we’re garbage…Joe just enunciated their attitude. Quiet part out loud. And people are sick of it.

I do believe we’re going to win on Tuesday – but if we don’t, then its because of liars convincing a majority against us. Nothing more or less than that – our opponents are bad people leading stupid people. We’re going to save them, if we can, because we are decent people.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:25 pm

It’s too late in the cycle to do it now, but I hope someone puts together a video of the various ways the Left shows its Stasi colors. From the dawn SWAT raid with network coverage of an elderly nonviolent man who is just a political opponent, to the airport SWAT raid to arrest a man for exactly the kind of nonviolent process crime that civilized law enforcement usually addresses with a polite request to appear, to the armed raid on Mar-A-Lago and the subsequent fraudulent photos of alleged evidence of what was allegedly found there, to the smug gloating of Kamala Harris about how much she enjoyed using “the swipe of my pen” to unjustly ruin peoples’ lives, to the spectacle of political opponents being denied speedy trials and put in solitary confinement (a punishment previously only used against violent offenders and found to be a human rights violation by Amnesty International), to the weaponization of federal might and power to harass, intimidate, prosecute and threaten to jail a political opponent and rig an election, the list (and this is a partial one) needs to be assembled and presented to the American public.

And now the brutal and inexcusable killing of two beloved pets, on the flimsiest of pretenses, after violating the rights of their owners.

THIS IS THE LEFT. Some of us realize this, some are catching on, yet some come here and defend them. Not specifically, because the blog vandals don’t do specifics, but by enabling and defending the leaders of the movement represented by these actions.

Ok, let me correct you again. Trump said the rest of the world treats America like a garbage can, and considering they release their prisoners and send them here, I would say that’s right. Here’s a video you should watch. Trump has been consistent for over years. Kamala has not been consistent even in the last 4 years.

Exact quote: “We’re like a garbage can. You know, it’s the first time I’ve ever said that. And every time I come up and talk about what they’ve done to our country, I get angrier and angrier. First time I’ve ever said garbage can, but you know what, it’s a very accurate description.”

I’d link to the YouTube video of him saying it, but your website chocks on the link.

BTW, Trump is very low energy at his rally today, slurring words, talking slowly and with no enthusiasm whatsoever.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:06 pm

Damn those chocks. Wouldn’t it be funny if chocks could be taught to recognize lies, kind of like how airport dogs alert to drugs or explosives, and just CHOCK them?

“We’re LIKE a garbage can”. That is, we RESEMBLE (in some ways) a place where some people discard what they don’t want. In this case, criminals and the mentally ill. The reason we RESEMBLE a receptacle for the unwanted is because other nations are dumping these human rejects on us.

It is not a hard concept. It is, in fact, a vivid and easy to grasp depiction of the way other nations have been sending us their, for lack of a better word, garbage. Rapists, child molesters, murderers.

Gee, Trump finally got tired! Stop the presses! A man who has been on the go nonstop for three months, doing one appearance after another, many in one day, with no rest to speak of, finally appeared a little “low energy”! Maybe he should have been imitating Kamala, and taking days at a time off, resting up after every interview.

Today he also talked about reporters being shot and said he shouldn’t have left the White House after losing the 2020 election. Right out of the fascist playbook.

Oh, and he was also confused about where he was, so there’s that.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:10 pm

RIGHT OUT OF THE FASCIST PLAYBOOK!! So you are still super impressed with that mantra. I guess it makes sense, as it is facile and meaningless yet implies without specificity something nefarious. In other words, right out of YOUR playbook.

Do you realize there really IS a “fascist playbook”? Hillary Clinton did her thesis on it, naming its author as one of her inspirations and heroes. Radical Leftists quote from it all the time. (Oops—did I give away the surprise name?) We see the “plays” outlined in this “playbook” being applied almost daily by the Left. You can order it on Amazon.

Funniest thing, though—not a single one of the strategies and tricks and tactics outlined in this playbook have the slightest relationship to a single thing Donald Trump has ever done or even said.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 6:57 pm

And you missed the point again. Amazona asked, “When and where did he call our country garbage?” And I told her. (Seems like it mattered to her.)

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:15 pm

No, you did not tell me where Trump said our country is garbage. You told me something very different, which you tried to spin as your false version. In other words, you lied when you made the comment, then you lied when you claimed you provided the quote from Trump when you quoted something else, and now you lie by claiming that you provided me with the quote.

As for what “matters” to me, it boils down to people like you lying day in and day out, simply inventing things to express the rot within you. What “matters” is pointing out that it IS lies, by making you cite your sources. We on the Right are starting to do that a lot more now, because it is the only way to deal with the cascade of increasing dishonesty that IS the Left.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 9:59 pm

But Cluster, if the radical Left has to stick to what is really said, and can’t distort it, twist it, misstate it, and generally lie about it they won’t have anything to say at all. They can’t say good things about their candidate, because once they milk the “JOY” theme, which is thin and silly, there isn’t much left. They can’t say bad things about Trump if they quote him accurately. Poor babies, they are left with nothing to do but lie, and lie some more, and then lie again.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 10:18 pm

RIGHT OUT OF THE FASCIST PLAYBOOK!! So you are still super impressed with that mantra.

Oh, gosh, I’m sorry I have used a phrase you don’t like. Okay, let me rephrase it: Threatening to jail or murder members of the press is exactly the same thing that happened in the most notorious fascist regimes of the past.

Does that work better for you?

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:47 pm

Did he say that? Did he do that? Sources and citations, again. You just said that Donald Trump threatened to murder journalists. You just said that Donald Trump <threatened to jail journalists (presumably just for being “journalists”).

He never made any such threats, so once again you are lying as well as illustrating that Rorsach test I mentioned earlier, that projection of self into something that is not recognizable by anyone else as what you see.

What works better for me is truth, sanity and decency, and so far you’re batting zero.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 10:20 pm

No, you did not tell me where Trump said our country is garbage. You told me something very different, which you tried to spin as your false version.

        I quoted Trump’s exact words.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:48 pm

And I pointed out that they did not say that our country is garbage. This is a case where lying won’t make a difference, because words say what they say. You are insisting that words say what you want them to MEAN, and you are wrong. Increasingly delusional, increasingly hostile, increasingly losing control, and very very wrong.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 10:51 pm

And I pointed out that they did not say that our country is garbage.

He said “We’re like a garbage can.” Are you now going to seriously argue that by “we” he didn’t mean the United States, or by “garbage can,” he meant the can and not the garbage?

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 11:07 pm

It’s been explained to you. We have even used other words to try to help you grasp the difference between a receptacle in which unwanted material is discarded and the odd belief that this receptacle might “really” be not a discrete thing related to a specific action but is somehow an entire nation and all of its people.

Just look at this “argument”—Imagine one of those escalating screeches that can make ears bleed. ARE YOU REALLY SAYING THAT WHEN HE SAID “CAN” HE MEANT “CAN”????? ARE YOU REALLY SAYING THAT WHEN HE SAID “LIKE A GARBAGE CAN ” HE DIDN’T MEAN “SOMETHING SIMILAR TO A GARBAGE CAN” BECAUSE WHEN SOMETHING IS “LIKE” SOMETHING THAT MEANS IT IS THAT EXACT THING AND NOT JUST SOMETHING WITH A SIMILARITY TO IT WHY CAN’T YOU UNDERSTAND THIS AND HOW
A THING THAT IS LIKE SOMETHING REALLY IS IT AND THEN ALSO MEANS SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY LIKE HOW SOMETHING SIMILAR TO A CAN BUT IS NOT REALLY A CAN THEN MEANS A WHOLE COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE???????

Yeah, this is exactly what you sound like.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 11:24 pm

Spin it any way you want. The rest of us understand plain English and understood what he meant. It is disgraceful for any presidential candidate to call the United States of America a garbage can, and you know. it So all you are left with is spin.

    • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 9:52 pm

And to you, this is the same as saying America is garbage. That’s about par for the course for your comprehension skills. Aside from the fact that what Trump actually said is not what you claim he said, this is as good as it gets when asking for an answer from you.

Maybe you have a better description for the phenomenon of other nations dumping their human garbage in our country.

    • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 9:57 pm

“It’s the people that surround (Harris). They’re scum and they want to take down our country. They are absolute garbage,” Trump said at a September rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, although the former president did not appear to be referring to all Harris supporters.

It obviously hurt USA Today to have to give a slight nod to actual journalism by admitting, kind of, that Trump never said Harris supporters are garbage. Or scum. They weaseled around it, saying he “DID NOT APPEAR” to be saying that. Yeah, he did not appear to be saying that because he was not saying that.

He was referring to a specific, discrete (not discreet) subset of Democrats. That is, people who lie to try to promote Harris as a candidate.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 10:11 pm

He was referring to a specific, discrete (not discreet) subset of Democrats. That is, people who lie to try to promote Harris as a candidate.

Sweetie, according to you virtually everyone who supports Harris, including me and Casper, lies to promote Harris. Ergo, he meant all of us.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter. We’ll see what happens on Election Day.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona November 3, 2024 / 10:41 pm

And you, as you spin even farther outside the gravitational pull of reality, seem to think that you just provided a coherent response. Yet all you did was try, so very desperately, to invent a few tidbits and tie them together into a real thought.

Well, Sugar Butt, you are, as usual, so wrong that you bring up, yet again, the conundrum—is he being stupid or just dishonest? And the correct answer here is to embrace the power of “and”.

I have never said that “virtually everyone who supports Harris, including me and Casper, lies to promote Harris.” To make such a sweeping comment with so little fact to back it up would make me, well, like you. (eeeuuwww)

Virtually everyone who supports Harris believes the lies that people like you and casper obediently regurgitate after being fed those lies by your masters. That is obvious, because no one conversant with the truth about Harris could support her, unless TDS is so powerful it cancels out all rational thought or because a Harris presidency would advance a desired radical Leftist regime. (And once again we see the power of “and”.)

So, to get back to what you might still be trying to pass off as an actual thought, first you lie by attributing a belief to me that I have never expressed, much less entertained, and then you spin off into the void by claiming that this alleged thought of MINE, a single person out here in the Heartland, is, ergo, what Trump said/meant.

Trump might be getting tired, but you are just falling apart.

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 10:54 pm

But thank you for such a brilliant expose of a mind obsessed with bickering, clearly a person who does not really exist unless immersed in nonstop quibbling, which appears to be essential to your identity.

So you obsessively snout around for bits you can toss out here, so outrageous and offensive we are likely to feel the urge to rebut them. That is all that keeps you going, this desperate need to keep your balloon in the air by puffing at it with one lie after another. It’s this offensive pathology that has gotten you kicked off this blog at least a dozen times but for some reason moderators decided to give you a forum.

I just stroll by and poke holes in the lies every now and then. It’s not my blog so I don’t have anything to say about it being treated like a garbage can. (See what I did there?)

      • Rocks Cows's avatar Rocks Cows November 3, 2024 / 11:15 pm

Since you accuse so many people of lying (but claim you don’t), why don’t you clarify just who you think is lying and who is not. Clearly, Casper and I are liars, according to you. And “everyone who supports Harris believes the lies that people like you and Casper obediently regurgitate after being fed those lies by your masters.”

So in addition to Casper and I, our “masters” (whoever they are) also lie. Is that a lot of masters? A few? One?

Who else do you put in the liar category? Mark claims its “the Democrats,” which is quite a sweeping assertion. Do you agree with that?

It’s really interesting, in a sad way, to see the disintegration of the persona that has been so carefully created over the years, protected by refusal to reveal anything about himself. Now the facade is cracking and the real (insert current alias here) is showing through, and boy is it a hot mess!
