So, how did that Thanksgiving feel? I mean, sure, the Macy’s parade was still pretty woke but that seemed like an ancient relic, didn’t it? The football was back to being pretty football-y (except you still can’t defend against the pass these days), having Thanksgiving dinner with the family felt more Thanksgiving-y. It felt like America again…like the last four years was just a nightmare we’ve all woken up from. And of course Donald Trump tweeted out Thanksgiving greetings even to the haters and losers. It was just a great day yesterday.
But, still, the Left is there!
Jack Smith is apparently going to give a hit-piece “report” about Trump to Garland who will, of course, release it to the press. I’m pretty confident this is actually illegal…and if it isn’t, it should be made so. What’s happening here is that after the prosecutor gave up on the case, he’s throwing into the public square what he couldn’t prove in court and/or under oath. Its mere slandering. The accused has no effective means of refuting the charges. Just a final garbage act from some really garbage people.
Its been weeks and people are still dunking on the Experts who called the election wrong. I know this because something I said on August 24th has been re-engaged on X: “Trump by 5 on 11/5 and you know it”. This in response to an Expert who was asserting that Harris would win by 8. I was wrong, of course: Trump is up by 3 (with almost all of it counted…but still above 50%!)…but my 2 point miss wasn’t an 11 point miss like an Expert can do.
That does bring to mind our missing friend, Casper. I figure he’s in the midst of one of two things:
- Finally realizing that if they were lying about the election that badly, maybe they’re lying about everything else.
- Going ever deeper into Resist conspiracy theories to explain it away (latest I’ve seen is an assertion that Putin ordered Musk to use Starlink to change Harris votes to Trump).
I lean towards 2 as the most likely outcome…admitting error is the hardest thing any human being can do…and for the Left, the admission of error comes along with admitting that you supported (actively or passively) things that are downright immoral.
In response to Trump’s border and trade proposals, the Left has settled upon telling us our guacamole will get more expensive and we’ll have to do our own household chores. No line of thought has more fully shown the difference between the Left and the Right. First off, not a big guac fan and Americanized Mexican food is better than Mexican food (just as Americanized Italian, Japanese, etc food is better than its source material). Secondly, I look after my own house. I guess the Lefties really are pretty rich – or maybe they like to pretend to be rich by hiring illegal servants they can underpay? I don’t know – but I look after my own house. No, not perhaps as well as a professional landscaping company…but my yards are tidy and while it was a two day operation to trim the Phoenix canariensis (the pineapple-looking palms to you who live in frozen areas) I did get it done…and when an old sprinkler riser broke I went to Lowe’s all by myself to get a replacement. For interior cleaning as well. Full disclosure: we have hired a cleaning service a couple times but they don’t really clean what we’d like them to clean…the more tedious things that you don’t need cleaned but once or twice per year (like blinds and such). I can mop my own floor…so I’ll probably never go much into having my house cleaned by others unless physical debility requires it.
They really do live in their own world, don’t they? To be sure, some on the Right do as well – still getting pushback from Right Free Traders which I understand but, goodness, it is just a plain, historic fact that we were under Protection when we armed the whole free world in WWII. Free Trade only came to the USA post-WWII where it was felt necessary both to prevent a resumption of the Depression and to aid the rest of the world getting back on its feet. These are debatable issues but this concept that Protection = Poverty is just nonsense. Protection only becomes a problem if you’re protecting failure…but if its designed to make sure that cheap labor can’t undercut your market, then its just common sense. Remember, we’re not being out-competed by China in manufacturing…they are using slave and near-slave labor combined with low quality to simply drive out of the market all competition. This is not Trade…this is predatory and only a fool would let them continue it.
Trump, by the way, has all of his major proposed cabinet positions filled and its still nearly two months before he takes office. Just like Team Trump on the campaign trail, these people are running a very tight ship. I do think they really will hit the ground running.

It was. I was all set to be alone for Thanksgiving, and then my neighbors across the street invited me to join them. Super nice people.
Actually, every day since the election has been a great day. Every day I read of another kook Leftist who has gone into a deep funk, lashed out at anyone and everyone, threatened to leave the country, gone on uncontrolled rants, and become unhinged in some hysterical way. It’s glorious to behold. I’m thinking maybe mass suicide is in order.
My adopted “family” flew down here to Florida for the holiday and we had a wonderful time. The three-year-old spent hours on a Gulf of Mexico beach and then more time in my pool, a necessary reminder of the existence of pure joy, and we spent a lot of time on my boat, so it was a typical Florida Thanksgiving. I was constantly reminded of how thankful I am to have them in my life.
One of the things we talked about is the overall sense of relief at the outcome of the election. The histrionics of the Left as it desperately strives for attention and relevance is a joke, and if the Complicit Agenda Media were not so eager to play it up no one would notice. Seriously—what is newsworthy about a bunch of emotional misfits screaming at a lake? What we are sensing is optimism, and that is so welcome after the grim misery of the Biden years. But aside from passing comments we didn’t even talk about politics. When we went over to pick up my boat my “boat guru” was wearing a T shirt that said “Jesus is my Savior, Trump is my President” and that’s pretty much the sum total of our political discussions, but it was in the air.

I never thought a year like 2020 could happen, I never thought “men being women” would be normalized, I never thought experimental drugs would be mandated by our healthcare industry, I never thought our government would imprison trespassers and protestors, and I certainly never thought the DOJ would target a former President and even try and assassinate him. Thank God all of this is behind us and the perpetrators did not win. It is morning in America, and that being said, if you haven’t watched the movie Reagan … do so. Great movie. The Mrs and I watched it last night.

IF MAGA were violent, the last 4 years would have been a bloodbath. This is simply another fake and desperate attempt to continue the Deep State narrative that MAGA are extremists. These are the last gasps of a dying political movement.

In yet another sign that the 4 year nightmare may be over … Washington is thinking about bringing back the “Redskins” logo and name. YES PLEASE.
And Fort Bragg might come back – for a while there, I was ok with the name change because Bragg was not only Confederate, he was a bad general…but now I’m rather extremist on the issue.
In fact, I want a law…which is technically against a federalist ideal but its the only way to really push back on this. At least it is brief:
1. No public memorial or name of a public place, having been in place for fifty or more years, may be removed or renamed.
2. No public place or memorial may be named for a living person, nor any person prior to twenty years after their date of death.
So, we keep what we’ve got if its been around for a while – that is, it has become part of our collective history – and no naming places for the fashionable “hero” of the moment. Lets see if anyone cares enough about them to make a memorial twenty years after they die.
OK, we had our break from the dreary job of unwinding Leftist chicanery and figuring out how they cheat and how to stop it. The thing is, we neophytes at cheating just don’t grasp the subtlety and detail-oriented scope of Leftist cheating.
For example, every ten years there is a fuss over whether or not to count illegals in the census. There is the contingent that says “yes, because we need to know how many bodies are in a place and for that it doesn’t matter what their status is”. Then the other side comes back and says “No, because a lot of illegal bodies can still result in that place getting an extra seat in the House because that is based on raw population count”. That second observation is a good start, because it at least recognizes the purpose, politically speaking, of packing the census numbers with non-citizens, but evidently it doesn’t go far enough because it seems that cheating—real, live, actual CHEATING—is going on even in the census counting.
How The 2020 Census ‘Errors’ Cost Republicans 9 Seats In Congress
The census isn’t a very sexy, glamorous topic, and because it only rolls around every decade it easily stays under the radar. But clearly this is a calculation the Left is using to its advantage, and the next four years obviously have to include some attention to the census. I suggest legislation to make it a law that only citizens are counted. Non-citizens are certainly affected by the laws made by Congress, but it is foolish to let them vote on them, even indirectly by allowing sheer numbers to influence the political balance of the House.
We do need to win in 2030 and 2032…and have to have the census firmly under our control, even if we have to give it out to a contractor.
My view:
1. It should only count citizens. Let the Democrats sue to say that we have to count illegals. Even if we lose on the merits, it’ll clarify the issue for political purposes.
2. To make up for 2020’s fraud, all doubtful balances should go to Red States (that is, if the numbers show a debatable seat between a Red and a Blue State, off to Red it goes.
When you look at what the Left promotes and fights for every element of it is about having control over the system. None of it is about keeping authority in the hands of the citizens, in their states and local communities. They want to rig the system by having illegals counted in the census, to raise the population count to influence how many Representatives each state can have, and now we see that they even cheat in the counting of the census results to accomplish that. They fight for “open primaries” so Dems can choose the Republican candidates. They fight for ranked choice voting (“jungle primaries”) so they can overwhelm the system with their own candidates and drown out the opposition. They fight for mail voting, so they can control how many ballots are delivered to be counted, and they fight for acceptance of ballots that do not meet the legal requirements for acceptance, such as timely receipt, postmarks and/or signatures. They fight for “curing” obviously defective ballots so the people who ostensibly sent in those ballots can be contacted to correct the defects—but no one ever goes back to the voter to see if he or she was actually contacted and actually made the changes that allowed the ballot to be accepted.
Every single thing on the Democrat agenda is designed to rig the system, on the back end, by rigging the counting that determines how many Representatives a district will have, all the way to the counting room. In the interim they try to rig the system by keeping a strong candidate off the ballot in the first place (Griswold in Colorado) and/or by overwhelming him with legal charges and financial damages, all the way up to trying to put him in jail to prevent him from running and then, when he runs and wins, to prevent him from taking office. Running in the background there is their strategy to weaken his support by attacking and intimidating those who would support him, through tactics like public humiliation and bankrupting them by charging them with crimes they have to defend against.
What do Republicans do? We demand that elections be set up so only living citizens with proof of identity, properly registered, can vote, can only vote once, and that all votes be counted promptly and accurately.
The difference is not only stunning, it is proof that the Left is fully aware that it can never win if it honestly presents its case for its form of government and asks citizens to approve it and vote for it. The actions of the Left are proof of understanding that the ONLY way the Left can gain power is through various forms of manipulation, deceit and outright cheating.
Here’s a real easy to understand example of why Democrats lost, and why they will continue to lose …. On Fox this morning, they were talking about travel weather, making advent calendars, and college playoff football. I turned over to MSNBC briefly and what were they talking about??? DONALD TRUMP.
There is so much more to life than politics, but not to a democrat. They live and breathe politics and that’s exactly why they should never have power again.

POLITICS in the forefront is one thing. But we are not seeing POLITICS. We are seeing a cunning, calculated political entity emotionally manipulating a population desperate for recognition, desperate for relevance, desperate for meaning in their lives, who has been indoctrinated into the conviction that these can be achieved by acting like f*****g morons and feral creatures on videos.
If we treat them like the infantile temper tantrum throwers they are, they will find no reward because they will just be ignored while the grownups go about grownup things, leaving them to their pink hair and p***y hats and screeching parades. We will let them throw themselves on the ground and howl and kick and carry on, till they break things or hold up traffic. Then they will be arrested and given a Time Out, preferably with a hefty fine. We won’t carry on about it, just say certain areas, like women’s sports locker rooms and restrooms are penis-free zones. We won’t care if men want to wear dresses, we just won’t pretend they are women. We will base gender on science, not on feelz. In other words, the era of the temper tantrum is over.

If the American Left were obsessed with endless discussions about the alleged benefits of collectivism, for example, I would think they were wrong but at least they would be talking grown-up talk about grown-up ideas. But no, they are fixated on the superficial, on the perceived identity of those they target and on the way these people make them FEEL. And to make it even more superficial, if that is possible, what they obsess about often does not really exist, but is a script prepared for them, much of which is mere fantasy idea they are then supposed to chew over ad nauseum.
Trump’s hair, Trump’s skin color, Trump’s personality, Trump’s adulteries from more than a decade ago, Trump as fascist, Trump as Hitler, Trump as Worse Than Hitler, Trump as demented, Trump as dictator, Trump as felon ( 34 TIMES !) Trump who will end voting, Trump who will outlaw abortion, Trump who will hunt down sexual deviants, Trump as…..well, the list goes on. But it all appeals just to bottom feeders, people who need and thrive on spite and malice and the melodrama of an Invented Evil Other.
