Today the comeback becomes officially certified – and it is enormously funny that Harris has to certify it. Side note: that law they passed governing the VP in counting the electoral vote? Unconstitutional drivel. And even if it wasn’t, totally useless – there’s nothing anyone can actually do to stop the VP from taking any particular action in certification. I’ve always thought that with the obvious questions about the accuracy of the 2020 vote count that Pence’s duty by no later than mid-December 2020 was to announce he could not in good conscience count the EVs of the disputed States – that the House and Senate were going to have to get together and work it out in the manner of the 1876 election. Keep in mind that I figured this would result in Biden getting in after all was said and done…but it would have been said and done via a clear, open and fully Constitutional process (probably via a House vote for President)…what we had was obviously fraudulent votes being shoved down our throats.

I’d comment about Trump’s upcoming sentencing but its all so very stupid and corrupt and ultimately pointless that its just not worth it.
New York City imposed “congestion pricing” for driving in Manhattan – basically you now have to pay to drive your car into the city. This move was backed by the usual collection of Commie idiots who were all celebrating it yesterday. Its nothing but a “soak the poor” scheme…it won’t affect the rich people (you know: who backed it) because they can afford the freight. Oh, and the rich now get the additional benefit of less traffic as they drive from their vulture capitalist office to the celebratory gala. You could probably challenge the law on equal protection grounds but, meh…I don’t really care as I don’t live in NY and will never once in my life drive myself into Manhattan. New Yorkers keep doing this to themselves…and then wonder why their city is falling apart.
Senator Mike Lee introduced a bill to deny benefits to illegal immigrants…to which most people go, “why are they getting benefits now?” The answer to that is simple – California passed a law to deny benefits to illegals (back when CA was sane) and the Commies took it to Court and, ultimately, the Supreme Court ruled that since the law doesn’t specify you have to be legal to get welfare, everyone gets welfare. This could all have been fixed right after that by amending the welfare laws and at times we have had a GOP trifecta and yet its never been fixed…which lets you know just how our Uniparty government has operated. Let’s see if Lee’s proposal gets anywhere…if he’s at all clever he will be able to generate publicity for this and, in the end, even some Democrats will have to vote to ban welfare for illegals…this is something that will have 85% public support.
Looks like a lot of Trump’s main agenda will go through Congress via one, large bill which is funny as heck because it’ll be passed via reconciliation so Dems can’t even slow it down and we’re using basically their “omnibus bill” garbage against them to enact policies that will save America and wreck Democrats. Democrats and Never Trumpers are trying to stop this by saying, “hey, that’s not fair!” and we’re all just laughing and laughing.
Canadian governor Justin Trudeau will resign in the next day or two – becoming yet another person who crossed Trump and wound up in the dumpster. He’s been just a horrid PM and he’s a bad man and, finally, even Canadians had enough…latest polling indicates that at the next election his Liberals are going to be wiped out. His resignation will probably help Liberals recover some ground – which is why he’s going (and much the same reason Biden went).
Bottom line is that all around the world, the Uniparty Ruling Class is feeling the heat…even people with an overall Liberal outlook are just sick of it all and want things to start working again…we don’t want imported grooming gangs, imported terrorists and imported anti-West activists. And that’s just one of a dozen problems the Liberal global order has ushered in.

New Jersey is ending literacy requirements for being a teacher – and this after they lowered the requirement to just a 6th grade level some years back.
But, GOP voter registration trends in New Jersey are starting to indicate that there is a limit…California, too. If Trump can have some success – and I think he will – it will improve the overall GOP brand a lot, get more people to feel it socially acceptable to be GOP and start the process of really crushing the Left.
The “educational system” in this country is finally making it official—–kids are supposed to be taught to read by “teachers” who can’t read, just as kids are supposed to be taught history by “teachers” who never studied history. And forget about math—-when 2+2 only equals 4 if the person wants it to, that’s all out the window.
I’ve already made many comments about the semi-literate state of the population. Yes, I learned basic rules of English in school, but I learned what they look like when part of the language by reading and seeing how words work and fit together. It was one thing to learn about homonyms, but what made it all make sense was seeing how words that sound alike really mean different things when in context. I noticed that a lot of books were being published that were written by people who didn’t know the rules, so those reading them would not be able to process the rules by seeing them in practice, and it was easy to foresee the decline in literacy as the inevitable result.
But the Left, always eager to accelerate the fragmentation of our culture and society, evidently decided to speed things up by removing criteria for teachers. I’m not saying that speech-to-text is part of an evil plan, but it certainly helps, as the algorithms don’t differentiate between it’s and its, for example, and arbitrarily insert that apostrophe every time the word comes up, resulting in constant misspellings and grammatical errors. AI still hasn’t reached the point of context, so it will say “reign it in” instead of “rein it in” no matter what the rest of the sentence says. The problem is, many can’t even proofread such a sentence because they don’t know the difference because they were not taught the difference in school and never saw the difference in context because the little reading they do do is written by people equally ignorant. It’s a vicious cycle of constantly self-reinforcing erosion of the language, and our language is what holds us together as a culture and society.
When words can mean anything, and can be spelled any which-way, they become meaningless and the structure of our society is undermined. Back in the archives of television history is an old Twilight Zone episode in which the people around a man start using words he knows but in the wrong context, so he gradually goes a little mad because he can’t communicate with them any more. Words were just randomly switched, so “lunch box” became “lunch tire” or “rabbit box” or some such thing. As this escalated, and everyone around him started using words that didn’t make sense in context, he became increasingly isolated and emotionally distressed.
And the lack of knowledge and standards makes it easier for the Left to gain control of the narrative. Look at how the word “insurrection” has been hijacked, redefined and weaponized. How many people know what it really means? How many care?
So Facebook did a 180 today on censorship and are “restoring free expression” once again according to Zuckerberg. The culture shift is real and like Mark said, if Trump can make some real progress in the next 24 months, than that shift will be lasting. Trump said that energy bills will be cut in half within the first 12 months … let’s keep an eye on that. I think we are on the verge of something special.
Things did change on 11/5…but from a practical, business point of view, allowing free wheeling debate increases engagement and thus ad revenue.
The best part of it: the “fact checkers” apparently didn’t hear about it until Zuck announced it in the video…

I think the key to changing Dem minds is educating them about the actual political system they are enabling and supporting, while they blindly think they are voting for ISSUES that make them feel virtuous.
I believe it was important for Trump to call for Newsom’s resignation. He won’t, of course…but, seriously and entirely outside politics: this was a monumental failure. He’s been governor since 2019. He has a super-majority in the Legislature. Let’s suppose that providing benefits for illegals and building the high speed rail to nowhere are actually good things. Fine. But one of the basic functions of government is to be instantly ready for crisis. This wasn’t rocket science. It wasn’t something that never happened before. He’s had years to get ready for just this thing…and the reality is that all he had to do was maintain the fire control system he inherited. He didn’t. People are dead. Uncounted billions of wealth is gone. He should resign…and Trump saying he should does bring to the public mind just how bad the failure is…it moves the window towards a “throw the bums out” political earthquake.
