Stock markets have been sliding and, naturally, the Democrats and Never Trumpers (BIRM) are all, “see??? We told you so!!!”. The reality is that Trump’s actions are deflating the Biden Bubble. The stock market gains of the past 4 years were illusory: fueled by massive inflationary spending and producing, very likely, no real wealth at all…indeed, ten years from now a review of that time frame might reveal we lost real wealth over the 4 years. Reality actually started to set in before Biden was carted out – many months of year-over-year declines in the “win” for Vegas casinos. Always an excellent barometer of economic health…Vegas does well when people have money to blow.

In addition to the printing- and debt-fueled asset bubble, it was also manipulated higher via bogus government stats. This sort of thing started under Obama (with a chance it started under Clinton). It is very easy to manipulate the numbers – especially the top-line inflation and employment numbers which are still, quite ridiculously, accepted as gospel in the financial world. If you think the little bureaucrats in the Bureau of Labor Statistics won’t lie for politics, then you just haven’t been paying attention. Of course they will – and they did. They are probably trying to lie right now, making out that things are worse under Trump than actual. I do hope his Treasury Secretary gets a handle on it. We do need actual economic data, after all. Hard to make valid decisions based on false information.

This will hurt! Economic dislocations always do. It hurt recently in Argentina when Milei took a DOGE-like chainsaw to Argentine government. It is hard to obtain economic news from Argentina as the global MSM is controlled by people who hate Milei as much as they now hate Musk…but they can’t hide the fact that Argentina’s monthly inflation rate has dropped from 300% to just over 2%. When you start to take apart a system based on graft then that system will experience pain. But it is merely draining the poison out of the system…and better for Trump to be doing it now, pretty much on purpose, than just muddling along waiting for another 2008-style financial collapse. A year from now will be the test – and my bet is that inflation will be beaten, interest rates will be much lower and the economy starting to boom just in time for the 2026 midterms.

Meanwhile, how are the Democrats prepping for next year? On a day when they could have been highlighting the market drop (this will temporarily hurt Trump’s approval, no doubt about it) they decided to go with this:

Khalil is one of those piece of trash foreigners who lives in the USA (ie, nowhere near the third world…poop hole he claims he’s proud to be from) and organizes anti-Semitic, anti-Israel and anti-American protests. He’s a green card holder but that has now been revoked and he’s going to be heading back home. Dems are trying to tear-jerk us into a guilt trip by pointing out he’s married to an American woman who is pregnant with his child. My suggestion: she goes with him and finds out what life is like for a woman under Islamist rule. See if she’s still proud of him then. If they let her out of the house ever again.

And how did our man Trump respond to this disgusting effort at emotional blackmail?

Very weirdly even some on the right are arguing this guy has rights – to a certain extent, yes. He’s a human being and all human beings are endowed with certain rights. But he’s not a citizen. Our laws are the attempt by the citizens of the USA to secure the rights endowed to them … not some backdoor for a hate-filled foreigner to enter our country and try to tear it down. Guarantee you, no American soldier ever gave his life so that foreigners could shout anti-Semitic slogans on a college campus. If you aren’t a citizen of the USA then you are a guest – and guests are to behave will or be asked to leave. Khalil is free to go back home and be all the Jew-hater he ever wanted to be. He doesn’t get to be here doing that.

At this point it is good to note that what Trump and team are doing is clearing the decks. A lot of people are upset at the pace of this or that action or wishing that something else was being put first and so on. But what Trump is going via DOGE, via firing people, via things like deporting that creep is sort of resetting the system to its factory settings. This is why Trump has signed off on the Continuing Resolution – something we all despise and I’m sure Trump does, too. But with the cuts happening via DOGE and the Democrats about to be starved for funds, the time for the budget battle is in September after Trump has defunded the Left and fired/deported some of the leadership. The fact that the Senate Democrats posted that on X shows that the adults have abandoned the Democrats…probably because the money isn’t coming in any longer. Its the theater kids in charge…and, man oh man, are they stupid! If all goes just moderately well, then Trump will be setting the entire fiscal agenda against Democrats who are shouting incoherently about issues the American people are 80/20 against.

I’ve never felt better about politics than right now – and it just keeps getting better and better! Like I said, we’re in for some pain. There will be rocks in the path. But the course is set – as long as we remain firm and Team Trump’s security has their head on a swivel, we’re just going to roll over the Left.

Did you get a load of the Leon / Trump clown show boosting Tesla stock from the office of the President? So Trump is buying a Tesla because people are being cruel to Leon and won’t someone please think of the world’s richest man? So now we have the circus of the President acting as a car salesman. Everything is spectacle with this guy. Musk wasn’t even wearing a suit and as far as I could tell, didn’t even say thank you.

Not as bad admittedly as the President releasing his crypto $TRUMP coin days before inauguration and fleecing his cult of billions of dollars, but still, endorsing products from the office of the President on behalf of his oligarch billionaire buddy is a bit rich, no?

I’m just trying to think of another occasion when the President shilled a product on behalf of a private citizen (apart from Goya beans of course LOL but this is tackier).

Here’s a challenge for you – it is where you can prove to us you’re worth talking to.

Express an opinion that isn’t a DNC talking point. Seriously: just one. Show us that deep inside you there is still a human being capable of thinking.

So what exactly do you think about Trump shilling for Tesla, using the White House as teleshopping set? And on his crypto scam coin? You’re good with this?

You ever see those old Peanuts shows where when the adults are talking it is all “wah wah wah”?

        That’s how you sound.

Come up with something interesting to say. Its an open thread – you can even talk about a favorite book or movie. Just for heavens sake let us know you’re not a blue-haired loon who won’t change her mind and won’t change the subject…

That ain’t gonna happen, Mark. “Lynne” is just a new alias for a long-time blog vandal. There is nothing there but the vandals’ need to slash and deface anything that is good. You make the same request we have all made, in one way or another, to all of them—or both of them, and now much more likely just “him”.

It’s all just sneering, sniping and whining about PEOPLE. Not ideas, never anything positive, just that compulsion to pick a target and then go on, interminably, about that PERSON. And, of course, the obsession is based on denial of reality.

For example, there is this squeal of feigned outrage: “I’m just trying to think of another occasion when the President shilled a product”. It’s as if “Lynne” was in a coma during the years *President Biden shilled for Pfizer and Moderna, taking the concept of “shilling” to new levels by using the power of his office to FORCE people to use their products, or lose their jobs, military positions and ability to travel freely, while also using the might and power of his office to provide legal protections for the companies for damages associated with using their products. And he didn’t just ask us to buy the product, he took the money forcibly taken from us via taxes to pay for the products he demanded be used. And while this was going on, evidence was piling up (and being hidden) that the drugs in question were dangerous, killing or damaging many who had been forced to inject them.

No “Lynne” is just the same old same pathology, with a new name and a pretend face, demanding air time to air pretend grievances. A new script has been issued, focusing on Musk via Trump, and the Usual Suspects are gleefully parroting it. That’s all. It’s just NDNN—New Day, New Noise.

Yep – and I don’t get it because we were are no great shakes…just a few people talking things over. But I guess nobody is allowed to just talk – someone has to come along to mess it up.

We got targeted a few years ago when we were a larger presence online during the Bush years, and even then we noticed that we had evidently come up on some entity’s radar, and then “someone” opened the gates by revealing some internal blog data to a group of malcontents and losers. But none of that explains the absolutely insane obsession that one or two have had for all these years (about 20 years, give or take) obsessively trying to sneak back onto the blog no matter how many times they have been banned. They use different aliases, they use VPNs to hide their online identities, and they lie about who they are.

And it’s not as if they have anything to say. There is never any real content, just a shrill and strident repetition of personal attacks on conservative politicians. While we here might not be examples of political brilliance or insight, at least we care about the nuts and bolts of how best to govern the nation and we enjoy civil discourse on this and other topics.

We’ve wondered about the motivation. Is it somehow paid for, with some kind of reward for getting clicks? Is it just expression of deep mental and psychological disorders? Is it some incel geek with a good grasp of vocabulary and syntax sitting in his mother’s basement obsessively trolling a few conservative sites and getting off on just dropping turds in various punchbowls? It’s clearly not truly political, as it is wholly personality-based, nothing but a litany of who is most hated at any given time and screeds about the alleged sins and shortcomings of that person, with the only “political” element being the bias against conservatives.

Basically, though, he/they serve only to remind us that there is an element in our society that is not only mentally and emotionally unbalanced but purposely malignant. Most of us have little or no exposure to people like this, unless we spend time online. This week, as one example, I was interested in the stories about Gene Hackman’s death because of the possibility of hanta virus playing a role in the death of his wife. As we have learned, she collapsed and died and her dog, recently brought home from the vet after surgery, was trapped in her carrier and eventually also died. But some people posted, on stories about this sad event, that the dog was killed while “protecting”…someone, from something…..and there is a coverup of a violent homicide. The eventual death of her husband, probably due to the combination of heart trouble and dehydration and malnutrition due to his advanced dementia and inability to care for himself, was fodder for wild speculation that he had been killed by a cabal of Hollywood pedophiles.

While our blog vandal is marginally less insane than these people, or the one who posted after the clothing of a missing girl was found on a beach, that she was the “first victim” of a serial killer, the basic profile is still there—malignant outlook and distorted reality, and a desperate need to impose these pathologies on others.

That’s why most of the moderators here have chosen to simply delete these random spurts of mental instability, but others choose to encourage them by responding.

Do you not know what a scam is? Google is your friend.

As for $TRUMP being a scam, you might look into the fact that thousands of so-called investors lost an aggregate $2 billion trading $TRUMP while Trump made tens of millions of dollars in trading fees. Sounds like a scam to me, not unlike the many previous Trump scams, such as Trump University.

Explain crypto currency in the same words that allow you to understand it and opine on it. This is YOUR comment, so back it up. It’s not up to me to look up something YOU can’t define. The issue is not whether I understand crypto currency. The issue is if you understand it enough to even have an opinion on it, a real opinion, not some regurgitated statement from some political hack. (I think we all know the answer to this, which is the Same Old Same Old when it comes to you—you mouth off some nonsense and when challenged your response it to just smirk “look it up on Google”. But it doesn’t work that way—once you make the statement you own it.)

By “explain the use of the word “scam” in this latest screech” I do not mean mindlessly parrot the latest script. I mean EXPLAIN it, with specifics about the process and why you call it a scam and who “lost an aggregate $2 billion” trading it. OF COURSE it “sounds like a scam” to you—that’s right there in the script.

Not how theoretically it COULD be a scam if certain things were done by certain people. You say it IS a scam, so explain why and how it IS—not how maybe someday in some way it could be.

And don’t just drop a statement—that some unnamed entity or entities “lost an aggregate $2 billion” . Back it up with names or STFU. WHO lost “an aggregate $2 billion—and how, and when?

Cryptocurrencies have made headlines for years, but recent developments, including the launch of Donald Trump’s $TRUMP token, have thrust the world of meme coins into the spotlight like never before. The $trump token was launched on Friday. Whether you’re new to crypto or a seasoned observer, this article provides a neutral, accessible guide to understanding $TRUMP, meme coins, and their broader implications. What Is a Meme Coin?

Meme coins are cryptocurrencies inspired by internet memes, jokes, or cultural trends. Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum, which focus on solving specific problems or enabling decentralized applications, meme coins often have limited utility. Their value is largely driven by community sentiment, social media hype, and celebrity endorsements. Popular examples include Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, which have gained immense popularity despite starting as jokes.

        PROMOTED

Meme coins can be highly volatile, making them both attractive for speculation and risky for investment. They often serve as an entry point for newcomers into the crypto space but lack the foundational utility of other cryptocurrencies. What Is $TRUMP?

$TRUMP is a newly launched cryptocurrency associated with Donald Trump. Within just 60 hours of its release, $TRUMP reached a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $70 billion, making it the 15th largest cryptocurrency in the world. This meteoric rise has sparked debates, excitement, and skepticism across the crypto ecosystem.

You must have a lot of free time on your hands.

What can you expect from someone who spends so much time cravenly cowering in the shadows trying desperately to intrude into an area where he is scorned and rejected, using different names and VPNS to hide his identity, just so he can mutter silly stupid scripted imprecations about a couple of PEOPLE?

He clearly has no real life aside from absorbing Leftist narratives and parroting Leftist scripts and constantly reminding us that he is incapable of addressing actual POLITICAL ideals, limited to mere petty gossip-level sputtering.

      • Amazona's avatar Amazona March 13, 2025 / 3:28 pm

BTW, regarding your query “Good grief, is this what you’re talking about”? He has no idea what he is talking about. He got a script, he tried it out here, it got swatted down, he tried to recover with his tired old effort “look it up on Google” routine, but he actually has no idea what crypto is, no idea what meme coins are, no idea period. And that’s OK because his agenda has nothing to do with facts or ideas or discourse. He is a sad pathetic incel loser desperate for attention who tries to get it by goading his betters into responding to his parroted attacks and insults.

His identity depends on getting people to engage in bickering with him.

First, you don’t even understand what “gaslighting” means.
Second, no new tariffs have been implemented
Third, the very existence of the possibility of new tariffs is what is bringing other nations to the table to discuss fair and reasonable tariffs on imports and exports
Four: Reminding other nations that we have the ability, and now have the will, to impose tariffs is resulting in productive discourse: Secretary Lutnick agreed to officially meet with Premier Ford in Washington on Thursday, March 13 alongside the United States Trade Representative to discuss a renewed USMCA ahead of the April 2 reciprocal tariff deadline. In response, Ontario agreed to suspend its 25 per cent surcharge on exports of electricity to Michigan, New York and Minnesota.

WATCH OUT! RUN FOR COVER! THE ECONOMY IS CRASHING !!!!

Well, except for a couple of things:

Yesterday, Newsweek ran a surprisingly encouraging headline: “Inflation plummeting, new data shows. The inflation rate has plunged to its lowest point since December, 2020— when Trump was last in office. How about that?

        image 6.png

Newsweek cited Truflation, a blockchain-based provider of real-time economic data. The non-governmental service reported yesterday that inflation has slowed to around 1.3%, falling below the 1.5% mark at the start of March, less than half of December’s 3.1% rate. Inflation is also now well below the Trump team’s stable target of 2%.

Whereas Biden-flation peaked at over 11.5% back in June 2022.

🥚 It’s horrible news for Democrats, who’ve been pathologically obsessed with the price of eggs and their terrors of tariffs. Even worse for the donkey party’s hopes for a Trump takedown, the Department of Agriculture reported that, having stopped culling defenseless hens for bird flu mania, the price of eggs is falling. A dozen eggs now costs less than when Trump took the oath:

        image 7.png

Whoops. Narrative fail! It’s not just eggs, either. Behold this stunning narrative switcheroo, published by CBS-Boston on Monday:

        image 8.png

Experts! Without experts, you might have thought that falling gas prices were a Trump promise kept. That’s why the experts need to run things, so they can make prices higher and educate we deplorable ignoramuses about all the benefits. You’ll pay more and be happy.

      • Mark Noonan's avatar Mark Noonan March 12, 2025 / 11:38 am

IMO, what Trump and Team have been doing is bleeding the bad out…the garbage shoved into the economy for decades but put on steroids to give Biden’s people some happy talk. It can’t be emphasized enough how badly distorted the whole thing is…just in the billions shoved out to USAID scams: government spending is calculated as part of GDP (an absurdity to start with – the money comes out of the economy so it shouldn’t be counted as part of what the economy is doing). All that waste that DOGE is finding for this year, it went on year after year before DOGE came in. Add in phony economic stats, money printing, pressure on banks to not call in non-performing loans (this trick was learned from the Chinese – they should have had an entire economic collapse 20 years ago but the government simply ordered the banks not to foreclose…to pretend the loans weren’t bad and then allowed them to operate based on the value of now-worthless assets…it will eventually blow up on them). To really start to get going, we have to get all that out of the system…and it is coming out fast, and we’re going to see rapid improvement.

  3. Amazona's avatar Amazona March 12, 2025 / 9:21 am

To the long and growing list of Trump victories we can add another—a “celebrity” has finally followed through on a promise to leave the country if Trump were elected. Rosie (“who??”) O’Donnell has moved to Ireland and is applying for citizenship there.

Wait till she learns that abortion is strictly regulated there.

The law allows for a termination:

    • under section 9, where there is a serious risk to the life or of serious harm to the health of a pregnant woman, after examination by 2 medical practitioners;
    • under section 10, in cases of emergency, where there is an immediate serious risk to the life or of serious harm to the health of a pregnant woman, after an examination by one medical practitioner;
    • under section 11, where two medical practitioners are of the opinion formed in good faith that there is present a condition affecting the foetus that is likely to lead to the death of the foetus either before, or within 28 days of, birth; and
    • under section 12, where there has been a certification that the pregnancy has not exceeded 12 weeks, and after a period of 3 days after this certification.

I don’t think Ireland has abortion buses so “women” can kill their babies in the parking lot.

When the Biden team left the White House they forgot to dismantle the fake Oval Office set the fake president used to pretend to be speaking without the aid of a teleprompter providing scripts:

There’s been an intriguing question hanging out there in the wind for months now about Joe Biden and the White House: why did his team create a whole new “stage” in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the West Wing, rather than simply filming him from the Oval Office when he needs to make a statement, like everyone before him?

Now, we did share thoughts on the reasoning, speculating that the reason that they had to set up a stage that way was to accommodate Joe Biden’s significant deficits — that it’s just too hard and not enough space to remake the Oval Office with teleprompters, so that he could see what he’s supposed to say at any given time. So they needed essentially a “reality show” to provide a place where they could stick all those things to help him. Talk about the reality show guy — it wasn’t Trump,

    That was confirmed.

Biden aides prefer the fake White House stage built in the Old Executive Office Building next door for events, sacrificing some of the power of the historic backdrop in favor of an otherwise sterile room that was outfitted with an easily read teleprompter screen.

Trump attorney Alina Habba described it:

“We’re in Biden’s fake Oval Office!” Habba declared. She said she thinks she figured it out — why they used such a fake set. She directed the camera to turn around, and she said there was a screen — a “teleprompter to the face.”
