I think we’re all a bit amazed – and outraged – at Democrat’s going to bat for “Maryland Man”…you know, the guy who seems increasingly likely to be an MS-13 gangster and human trafficker. The whole concept of it is rather insane: he’s an El Salvadoran who was deported to El Salvador. I get that an order from 2019 – before the gangs were cleaned up in El Salvador – prohibited deportation to El Salvador but the bottom line is the man is back home. Nothing bad was done to him by us. And if he really didn’t want to go back to his home, he could have left the USA voluntarily over the six year period since the final deportation order was issued. In other words, there’s just nothing to be too upset about. So, why all the fuss?
We can’t ignore the possibility of sheer stupidity. As I’ve been saying for a while now, the Left is really stupid. They only manage to hold power by ruthless suppression of dissent in the institutions they have captured and taxpayer subsidy. They are dumb enough to drive over this cliff just because Trump pointed to it. But we must also consider the possibility that it isn’t sheer stupidity – always assume your enemy is smarter than he appears, right? And once I started rolling it around, I came up with an answer: 2026 and 2028.
So far a bit quietly, there is a far Left revolt brewing on the Democrat side. The people who are certain that Trump is Hitler II are in deadly – if rather stupid – earnest about it. They really do believe that unless Trump is stopped, all good things will come to an end. This is why we still see sotto voce appeals for lunatics to take another shot at Trump…but another area of battle is the threat of primary fights. The far Left is saying that anyone who doesn’t go flat out to stop Trump is a traitor and will be primaried. We’ll see if they can actually get this rolling…but part of what van Hollen is doing could be to lock down far Left support. “See? I’m out here Resisting! Love me! Don’t primary me!”. And, of course, if he’s got ambitions for 2028, he’d also want to lock down far Left support for the early Democrat primaries…you gotta figure that a straight, white male is going to be at a huge disadvantage in any Democrat Presidential primary…so, be More Commie Than Thou. And this will go for all of them who get that Presidential bug. Keep in mind that Democrats always figure they can tack Right after the primary…they’re foolish to believe this because (a) their base is infuriated by any tack to the Right and (b) they don’t have total domination of information any longer…with X and other platforms out there, you can’t successfully pretend all that Commie stuff didn’t happen. Harris learned this the hard way last November.
But my goodness does this look bad for them – Democrats who wouldn’t dream of meeting with the families of illegal immigrant victims flying all the way down to El Salvador for a chat over coffee. Not a good look. Horrendous look, in fact. The attack ads are already written: “Democrats are for illegal immigrants, we Republicans are for you, the American people.” Do keep in mind that in 1934 things were absolutely horrible in the United States and it was FDR’s first mid-term. This confluence of events should have walloped the Democrats pretty hard – Democrats gained 9 House and 9 Senate seats. This was because in spite of how horrible it all still was in the depths of the Great Depression, the GOP was so toxic that the people remained with the Democrats. And right now the Democrats are making themselves toxic. Fighting Trump on cutting waste, illegal immigration and protecting girls sports isn’t going to play well. Democrats are certainly hoping that the economy is bad come next year…but if they keep playing this game then even if it is bad, I still give the GOP a 50/50 shot at winning…and if the economy is in good shape (and I expect it will be) then, look out! Nobody can really assess how things might turn out.

It isn’t so much that we don’t want Courts. It isn’t that we don’t want Judicial Review. But we’re not going to endure a system where after great efforts – and our Candidate being shot – we find that a few judges get to stop us. It simply wouldn’t be fair – and it is also not remotely Constitutional. Reminder: the primary purpose of our independent Judiciary is to ensure that the Executive can’t jail us on a whim. The Founders didn’t want a system where a judge is beholden to the King. Nor a system like that in France where the King could use lettres de cachet to imprison anyone who offended him without trial or appeal. The Founders did NOT create a Judiciary to second-guess every issue under the Sun. A republican system of government presupposes that the elected representatives of the people decide what shall be…with the Courts only intervening when one or both of the other branches does something egregiously in violation of the written Constitution. Deporting a guy to El Salvador, firing redundant bureaucrats and cutting off USAID funding are not Constitutional issues. There is no reason to have the Judiciary speak to these matters. Anyone who doesn’t like what the current government is doing here is free to argue against it and try to get to a different election result next time…but only a different government can decide differently, not some district court judge appointed via political favoritism.
And if the Judiciary does not curb itself, then it will be curbed. As Varad has pointed out repeatedly, the Courts have already lost the respect of the Democrats – there is already a movement to simply pack the Courts with sufficient Democrat operatives to ensure all Judicial decisions line up with current Democrat policy. As of this moment, only Republicans still want to preserve an independent Judiciary. But patience is wearing thin. If Roberts and the rest of the Supreme Court want to retain any authority, at all, they’d better quickly smack down the district court judges.

Well, I, for one, hope the Democrats pick the wrong side of every 80/20 issue right up to November, 2026. If there were ever glaring indicators that they are just simply not very bright, we are watching it play out in real time. I think Trump has them so flummoxed that they can’t see straight.

I watch with amusement as many on the left are calling for people like Sandy O Cortez and Tim Walt to run for president. Seems she may have a hard time deciding whether to primary Schumer or waiting to run for the big seat. It’s amazing how such poor examples of leadership even get elected. Hopefully with legacy media losing its viewership and the vast sums of stolen tax payer money dries up, these people will be exposed for their destructive idiocies, with nothing to offer but loss of freedoms and dreams. The way I see it, the left is near cataclysmic fall. Besides clinging to the short side of many 80/20 issues, moderate democrats are no longer welcome in their own party if they disagree with even a single issue pushed by the party extremes. And should they disagree with one of the core tenants of communist leftism, such as elective abortion, then they are subjected to the vilest attacks and rejection. They are stuck between trying to follow their conscience and retaining relevance & position within their party. We’ve already seen some previous democrats become independent and others outright leave (Gabbard, JFK jr.) switching to the right. I’ve no doubt there are others contemplating this same move. The need to rectify election shortcomings will be significant in helping ensure honest results.
The Dem promotion of Sandy or Tim is, I think, coming from the top, an echo of the desperate effort a few months ago to pump up enthusiasm for Kamala. They’ve got their cheerleaders out there frantically trying to generate real support for ANYONE and they are going to keep going through the list of somewhat well-known names to see if they can make any of them catch on with the public. But all they’ve got is stunts, like Booker talking for 24 hours or some do-nothing back bencher posturing as a diplomat who can influence the president of another country.
If Democrats can just usher in millions of unvetted immigrants, and MAGA is prohibited from deporting them … WE DO NOT HAVE A COUNTRY. What’s so fucking hard to understand about that Democrats???

Strange the parallels between the original holy week and modern events. When Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem, he was greeted with high praised, multitudes of people laying palms before Him. Less than a week later the mobs wanted to chastise and condemn Him. Figures like Trump and Musk are 2 of the more prominent members of a long list, who were also highly praised at one point in their lives, are now looked upon with scorn and hatred to the point where the leftist mobs calls for their death. The Pharisees of the past are today’s politicians. Some wishing to serve while many others are cloaked behind lies only concerned with power and control, detesting the very people they purport to serve, all while living high on the backs of tax payers. How many of today’s people have accepted their 30 pieces of silver in exchange for their betrayal? People from many walks of life cling to a variety of false masters, mindlessly calling for the condemnation of any who challenge their pious veneer or virtue signaling without understanding the gravity of their sins.
For those who follow Jesus, He told us, if they hate you, remember they hated me first. There is strength in humility, a strength that comes from knowing God is with us, that by ourselves we can achieve nothing. His love is so perfect He allowed His Son to take our sins upon His own shoulder. The resurrection of Jesus is the greatest miracle since the creation of the world.

His Easter message was a ringing declaration about the Resurrection…while around the West the leaders are lauding obscure, pagan holidays or making everything about Islam. There is a paradigm the left keeps trying to push to vilify the right, attempting to equate things like white supremacist as a far-right value. A while back in a post Amazona wrote, she indicated that the use of “far right” was an invented construct noting, those on the right are simply adherents to the US Constitution. What would make someone “far right”? A super strict Constitutionalist?? White supremacy much like Neo-Nazis are both extremist groups that promote fringe ideologies advocating the position of superiority based on race. That same mindset is pushed with regards to abortion where the left tries to portray the right as infringing on and making demands of a person’s individual autonomy, totally disregarding the autonomy of the unborn. These concepts have absolutely nothing to do with true right-side views, even if some try to claim that relationship. These negative associations must be challenged and placed in their appropriate context which is, irrational fear & hate in total opposition to moral & Constitutional values. The right has disdain for things like white supremacy, DEI and Affirmative Action due to their destructive nature that removes inspiration to achieve good based on personal merit. In fact, these ideologies foster a culture that is in direct opposition of their often stated desire of “fairness”. How could it possibly be deemed fair elevating a person or group who has done nothing to deserve that status, simply to achieve a self-defined quota? And when that person or group fails to handle the expectations placed on them whether it be academics, work, military, political or any of the other numerous sought after positions, it almost always results in diminished results hurting everyone involved, often long term and potentially the death of many. The left gets away with this when they push everyone into a specific group that by design is intended to create the concept of victim & victimizer. For those who allow themselves to be defined by these narrowly tailored concepts, they will forever be slaves to they perceived victim status, filled with anger and devoid of hope.
There are many instances of a religious insurgence, I believe in large part because people are finding hope, healing and a sense of peace in Jesus, in spite of the constant worldwide turmoil. The historical evidence from a multitude of source, of the persecution, death and resurrection of Jesus is inspiring a return to truth. I watched a youtube video with Michael Knowles and Dr. Jeramiah Johnston about the Shroud of Turin. And if that is true, everything else Jesus told us must also be true.

I was led, or at least nudged, off my path of blind acceptance of Liberalism by a Denver talk show host named Mike Rosen, whose examples of linear thinking had as much to do with my conversion as his explanation of politics. Mike used to refer to what he called “semantic infiltration”, or the incremental acceptance of terms even when they contradict their original, true, meaning. It may be the most powerful tool of the Left, as when the meaning of words can be changed this also changes the perception of people and the course of the narrative. This is shown by the Left’s hijacking of words to describe its political identity, using words like “liberal” and “progressive” to describe (and, people assume, to define) a political system that is wholly illiberal and regressive. So we have the phrase “reproductive freedom” to describe the destruction of reproduction, and “gender affirmation” to describe the denial of gender. Now the rise of fascism in this country is described as “anti-fascist” and what should be a term that only describes allegiance to Constitutional governance–“the Right”—applied willy-nilly to anything the Left wants to demonize without regard for any true POLITICAL meaning.
Stalin started this when the Left needed to explain why it had been attacked by brother Leftists—that is, by the National Socialist government of Germany and its new political identity, fascism. That was easily accomplished by merely rebranding an arm of “us” into an alien “them”, now identified as “right-wing”. And with nothing more than a little semantic tweaking, a hard-core Leftist ideology became “the RIGHT”. This has created quite an intellectual muddle, at least in the United States, as the half of the country supporting and enabling an increasingly hard-core fascist political model is at the same time howling and marching, incited by and funded by Leftist extremists, in outraged protests against what they call “fascism” but which is really a truly anti-fascist effort to dismantle the Central Authority model that our government has become and return it to its Constitutional foundation.

There was an excellent debate on Alinsky tactics on X a couple days ago – and one MAGA guy did point out that when you think about it, the American Revolution, especially early on, used Alinsky-like tactics. Always keeping in mind that we can’t lie like the Left does, but we can turn the tables on them…and Alinsky tactics work.
It all comes down to this: do we want to win? The anti-Trump Right is getting the vapors that Maryland Man wasn’t convicted of a crime…as if that matters. They’re telling us that if Trump can deport Maryland Man, he can deport all of us. As if Trump wants to deport Americans…well, truth be told, there are some Americans I’d like to deport, but I’m not going to.

The Left seems intent on marking every single Stupid square on their bingo cards. For example, where could we have sent this low-life gangbanger wife beater except back to his own country? It’s not as if we should engage in breaking the immigration laws of some other nation by dumping a criminal citizen of El Salvador on them. I would question the legitimacy of the ruling that he could not be sent back there before I would freak out about him being sent there. I suppose in retrospect we should have dumped him in Gitmo, but I do like having the president of another country standing by Trump on this. (His setup of the photo op with Van Hollen and the gangbanger was sheer genius, and probably approved by Trump.)
And it’s not as if he got to the US and turned over a new leaf. He continued to be part of MS-13 here, just picking up where he left off. His continued association with known and admitted MS-13 members, who did not associate with anyone outside the gang, was part of the evidence that led two different courts to rule he himself was still a member.
And let’s face it, those freaking out claiming that Trump can “deport” them, too, are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, but part of the subset of our nation that includes the woman who, when an armed game warden went into a fast food restaurant where she was eating had a meltdown and demanded that the manager escort her to her car—-to keep the game warden from shooting her in the back. These are not smart people. These are not normal people. These are not even sane people. If the Democrat Party wants to be represented by them, great—that would be consistent with also being the party howling for a new Final Solution, demanding new segregation laws, and sending money to stone-cold killers.

A Conspiracy Theory That Is Being Pushed By The Left Claims That Something Really Big Is Going To Happen Today
Most people on the right have no idea just how crazed many people on the left have become. Right now, a conspiracy theory which claims that President Trump is preparing to declare martial law in the United States is spreading like wildfire on social media.
According to that conspiracy theory, a report will be submitted to President Trump on April 20th which will recommend that he should invoke the Insurrection Act to help deal with the border crisis. That would allow U.S. troops to help secure the border, but many leftists are convinced that President Trump will also use U.S. troops to round up political activists and send them to prisons in El Salvador. I realize that this may sound really bizarre to many of you, but this is what many of them actually believe.
An anonymous leftist known as “Aletheisthenes” has been promoting a wild paranoid conspiracy theory, that Trump is planning to implement martial law as a precursor to rounding up political opponents and shipping them off to “El Salvador”.
As we so often see when a radical Leftist starts bloviating he accidentally trips over a self-own. According to him, “… once President Trump officially invokes the Insurrection Act it will set a “larger plan in motion”…
And as his two months in office has already shown, he won’t stop at just a legal opinion.
Expect an executive order even that same day or the next, officially declaring the Insurrection Act, restricting freedoms in the name of restoring control of the border and perhaps in blue-state cities, and setting the larger plan in motion.
Of course, this won’t be framed as an attack on democracy. It will be packaged as a necessary response to crisis — as authoritarian takeovers always are.
But once it happens, there’s no going back.
This will be the point of no return.
