DOJ has opened a Grand Jury for the Russiagate affair. We’ll see how far we can take this – but at the very least the process is the punishment.
But in my view, everyone involved – including Hillary and Obama – are in deep legal jeopardy. And if we start to get indictments rolling in then if I were Trump I’d call both of them and say they can get pardons in return for full, public confessions of what they did.
It looked like Rep. Ramirez (D-IL) said in Mexico City that she’s a proud Guatemalan before American. I guarantee you that if a foreigner moved to Guatemala and somehow managed to get elected to office – almost impossible as most nations simply won’t elect foreign-born people to office – then if that person said they were prouder to be foreign than Guatemalan, they’d be forced out of office in minutes…and probably arrested into the bargain.
The United States is not a mere Free Trade Zone. We are a nation. We are a people. We are welcoming, but if you come here, become American or get out. It is ok to be proud of where you’re from – or where your family is from. But if you want to live in America, then America must come first. It is not a big ask: it is mere basic decency.
Side note: I want us to enact into law a new definition of Native: in my view, if three of your four grandparents were born in the USA, then you are a Native American. No more of this “settler” stuff – I am not a settler. The most recent part of my bloodline got here in the late 19th century, the oldest part in the early 17th. I have no loyalty to any foreign nation – I don’t care about them. My only nation is the United States. I know no other as home. I am Native.
Texas Democrats fled the State to avoid a quorum that would vote on redistricting. This is the merest political stunt and it won’t work – the new districts will become law…and very likely other Red States are now more willing to redistrict, and do it very hard. The Democrats tell the MSM that the Resistance is working and so Democrats keep doing Resistance stuff because the MSM says its working. But it ain’t. People don’t like political stunts.

If the legal definition of “insurrection” is a violent effort to overthrow a government and assume its powers (and BTW it is) then what do we get if we simply take out the “violent effort” part? Is it still insurrection if it is a nonviolent effort to overthrow the government (block its ability to perform) and assume its powers?
Because, really, what are these people “resisting”? They are trying to prevent the legally elected legislature of Texas from doing what it was elected to do, which is a way to say overthrowing its authority and trying to assume its powers.
The Left succeeded in convicting people of attempted insurrection though not one person ever stated a desire to overthrow our government, much less assume its powers. But the Left itself has done these very things ever since Trump’s first presidency. And bragged about it. We have seen military officers stating an intent to try to override a presidential decision, we have seen legislators openly bragging about their efforts to block anything the president might attempt, we are seeing judges blatantly denying the authority of the presidency and trying to assume its powers.
When do we, as a nation, say “enough is enough” and crack down on this constantly escalating effort to overthrow the government (that is, to thwart the decisions of the elected representatives of the people) and assume its powers?
It does look like Abbott is taking this seriously…and it needs to be taken seriously. All this time over the past 60 years we on the Right have excused or explained away or tried to accommodate Leftist nonsense like this. Talk about subverting Democracy – the people of Texas voted for a government and the Democrats are trying to prevent that government from functioning because they lost.
At this point, MAGA just needs to impose our will. We are dealing with political opponents who are completely detached from reality … they oppose gerrymandering by running to and hiding in a State that is the King of gerrymandering; they claim the POTUS is a pedo and rapist without any evidence; and they continue to incite violence, and in fact, engage in violence so why are we even listening to them?
All gas no brakes. And if needed, we will put this leftist movement down permanently.
That is what Team Trump is doing – and a lot of it is still flying under the radar…but they are pressing very hard against the Left.
Every war has more than two fronts. While the “all gas no brakes” is an important component to dealing with the government machinery of the Left—the judicial sabotage, the legislation, the abuse of power in trying to hamper law enforcement, etc.—without an equally strong force working on the other front the Dem base will just continue to elect more of the same, resulting in an infinite loop of chaos and conflict, because its belief systems will not be changed.
A little progress is being made in showing that base that its support is based on belief in lies, but not nearly enough. And the little progress we have been made has all been an uphill struggle, against the sheer weight of the Agenda Media’s double-pronged efforts of putting out propaganda on one side and squelching information on the other.
Elon Musk made a huge contribution in buying and reforming Twitter, but we still need an equal effort in the medium of television. Every few years we hear of one of the alphabet networks being in financial trouble, possibly being sold, etc. yet no one has stepped up buy it and corner almost half of the viewing public in the process.
Market share for news shows would probably be close to 50% for a station owned and run by conservatives if it was well run, and there is quality entertainment that is not woke or filthy that would attract a lot of people who are tired of the politics and/or smut. A station like this could also run a weekly hourlong show along the lines of Paul Harvey’s old “The Rest of the Story” giving the facts behind some of the lies and propaganda we have been fed for so long. These would attract huge audiences, of conservatives and of Lefties looking for something to howl about.
I am more and more wishing we had something like “How Propaganda Works” as the propaganda deluge is not slowing down. Things like showing that iconic picture of the poor sad polar bears adrift on their tiny little remaining piece of ice next to the uncropped photo showing it floating just offshore from a huge ice shelf going all the way to the horizon. Things like an explanation of the staged photo of what were supposed to represent casual tossing around of top secret documents at Mar-A-Lago.
Until we deal with the source of the belief system that keeps electing Democrats we will just be in an endless cycle of rinse and repeat. Oh, we might knock down the party for a while, but if the source of the infection is not removed it will just fester and grow back again.
