Trump nuked a drug boat – and this is fully in line with what I’ve been saying about fighting the drug trade. It is primarily a logistic issue – and all true strategists concentrate on logistics. In the trafficking of human beings and drugs, we’re talking very large amounts of physical things which must be moved from place to place (and the money, also physical in the form of cash, must also be moved). Our enemy in the War on Drugs has a very long and entirely naked supply line…that is what we hit. We hit it by sealing our borders and by taking out identified drug transport in international waters and air space. Rely on it, we keep doing it, the people who transport the contraband will get the message…it won’t, of itself, stop the trade…but it’ll shift it from moving easily identified and targeted tons down to small quantities carefully concealed. Reminder: the widespread use of drugs like cocaine switched from a vice of the rich to a general vice because the suppliers worked out the means of producing and transporting large amounts of it – driving down the retail price to where everyone could avail themselves of it. Trump’s strategy will make the contraband vastly expensive…once again the province of decadent rich people.
I’d add to this a wrinkle to hit the money – while there are still some major global banks willing to facilitate criminal money, most don’t and all of it eventually gets detected. This is why to this day, to move the money to the cartels it has to be physically carried there. I’d offer letters of marque to anyone who wants to take the risk – outside US territory – to seize this money. Get it back to the USA, and you get to keep half the proceeds. Full title, tax free. Not just money – anything of value; go after everything they’ve got. Make them expend vast resources just to protect their money.

To anyone being honest, it’s easy to understand that a person claiming to be a transgender has significant mental issues. An intelligent society does not allow people with major mental issues to own guns. Statistics have shown a considerable increase in actual and attempted mass shootings (and assassination attempts) in recent years from people who identify as transgender. Trump has put the pieces of the puzzle together and is considering banning guns from this group.
Curious if the rabid left really wants to reduce gun violence who will willingly align with this gun restriction consideration or will go insane at newly proposed restrictions specifically aimed at transgender people, a group who’ve shown an increase propensity toward gun violence? Seems the insanity of the left’s positions has notable contradictions they have to deal with once the obvious is forced front and center.

The fact that Trump’s people are seizing hundreds of illegal guns in DC proves that the Democrats don’t want gun control – they want MAGA control. They won’t even take guns away from the criminals in their midst…they don’t care who dies, they just want us disarmed so they can treat us like Brits or Canadians.
The trans gun thing is an excellent two-edged sword by Trump…he’s highlighting the fact that a lot of lunatics have taken on the trans identity just so they can pass without notice by law enforcement…and he’s also putting the Democrats into a pickle: forcing them to come out against gun control on grounds of civil rights (a general ban on trans people owning guns does violate the Second Amendment).
The fight for control of Congress next fall could be waged almost entirely with memes.
They are seriously all in on it, aren’t they? I mean, maybe it’ll work? I guess anything is possible…but I gotta figure that backing Cartels, boys in girls sports and illegal immigrants isn’t going to be a winning message.
I might consider secretly partnering with a medium sized regional bank who could then reach out to the Cartels and give them a false sense of security that their banking institution will help them out. This way we can track the money and shut it down at any time.
