In response to Kimmell being fired a lot of people on the Right are trying to explain it – that is, squaring it with our disgust with Cancel Culture. I’m not. Kimmell wasn’t cancelled – he’s a disgusting liar. That’s the only reason he’s off the air. If he hadn’t been a disgusting liar, he’d still be on. Simple as that. We didn’t do anything to him – he did it to himself. The only surprise here is that the network kept him on to spew his disgusting lies as his audience collapsed. If I ran the network, I would have ditched him years ago – saying that having a disgusting liar on the air is not what the network is about.
But, of course, that is what all networks have been about – and for a long time. The movie Network (1976) nailed it pretty well in that they’ll do anything to get eyeballs glued to the tube…but missed entirely the depth upon depth of lies the networks would put out if they thought lies meant good ratings. And it isn’t remotely the news that has all the lies – in fact, the news has the least lies necessary to advance the Leftist agenda. The popular culture stuff is where you get down to really nitty-gritty lies…like Law and Order with its bizarre fixation on anything that isn’t a crime problem in the United States. Of course, no production company would ever put out a show dealing with real crime problems…that is, a massively disproportionate number of non-white people committing most of the serious crimes. Better to cook up something which always has a white man as the bad guy…and even better if he’s Christian. I mean, you could do a whole series of criminal procedure episodes just about welfare fraud in Minnesota…but as its massively Somali…ain’t gonna see it! Better to just lie.
As least, until now. Now we have a President who is being totally uncool about that whole drag-him-through-the-courts-and-also-try-to-shoot-him thing the Democrats set up. He’s willing to use the immense power which the Left handed off to the Executive in the firm belief that it would never be turned against the Left. Oooops! Now networks have to worry about licensing and lawsuits and just the President talking about how dishonest they are…absolutely no respect given to them. It hurts – socially and financially. Look for some shows that start to reflect our values pretty soon…especially if Vance or another Trumper wins in 2028.
In my view, Ilhan Omar should be denaturalized and deported. I am thoroughly disgusted with this foreigner who was rescued by our nation deciding to call us the bad guys. If she showed the least bit of gratitude for the immense wealth and position this nation has afforded her I’d be ok – but she’s just a bitter, spiteful woman – as well as being a mindless tool for people who want America destroyed. Enough. Back to Somalia for her…where she won’t be allowed to appear in public, have any position or wealth.
AOC got up in the House to say that the motion to honor Kirk causes pain – which is her way of saying, “we’re glad he’s dead, the operation worked – you’re all Nazis and we’re coming after all of you”. Not at all kidding. She’s a mindless Commie but she also has internalized the way Commies work…everything that helps them is good and the vile hatred which got Kirk killed helped Communism…so, she’s not going to condemn it and, indeed, will continue to encourage it.
Some Democrats tried to block ICE and got treated exactly like those who try to interfere with Federal law enforcement should expect: badly. These actions by the Left prove their utter contempt for the USA. The laws about immigration may be good, bad or indifferent…but they are the laws. They were passed over many years via our representatives in Congress assembled and represent the considered wisdom of the American body politic. They cannot be set aside. That they have been set aside for decades is the blot upon our honor – enforcing them is the only decent thing to do. If anyone doesn’t like the laws – and everyone is free to do so – then the only course of action is to work within the political system to obtain a government which will change the laws…trying to riot in front of ICE is a betrayal of the American ideal. I’m hoping that we’ll eventually get some indictments out of this behavior.

I’ve never watched Jimmy Kimmel, but I’ve seen enough clips of him over the years to get the impression that he’s a dispicable human being. One has to wonder what kind of people he appeals to.
Actually, I think we know exactly what kind of people he appeals to. It’s the same crowd that fawns over everything said on The View. It might be a different age demographic, but it’s the same mentality.

Referring to the “what kind of people?” comment: I’ve been thinking that in a way we are living in a social version of a sci-fi movie, like the TV show “Resident Alien” where there is a member of an alien species living among us that we have failed to recognize because he looks just like us. In my imaginary version of this, if one has a certain special kind of glasses he or she can see the true alien form disguised as a human being.
And now those glasses are readily available and being used more and more, revealing the true nature of these beings. And we are shocked to learn how many of them they are, and how deeply they have infiltrated into the very core of our society. But events, especially the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk, have provided us with the lenses that strip away the pretenses and disguises of these creatures, who are now revealed to us. As we recoil in horror and disgust, they whine and whimper about how “unfair” it is to judge them accurately on their true natures, their defects as decent human beings, as others of their kind who have not yet been “outed” rush to defend them, not realizing that by doing so they are showing us that they are the same.
There has been a surge of revelations as these alien forms have blurted out their true identities, smug in their delusions that their distortions of humanity are widespread and will be accepted by others. This surge will abate, but they still live among us, and millions now have those lenses that will let us see through the illusions of decency to the core of ugliness that lies beneath. It’s been oozing out for a while now, as the pretense of political opposition has been replaced by acknowledgement of sheer virulent pathology, but it has still been shielded to some extent by the mask of political disagreement.
Now the mask is ripped off, the pretense is shattered, and the core of moral rot and dishonesty is exposed. It comes down to the fact that there is a sorting element at work, and that only a certain kind of person is attracted to this kind and level of moral degeneracy. At some point there will probably be an effort to gather up the tatters of the disguises to try to put them back together, but for now the exposed are still trying to justify themselves instead of denying who they are. It will be up to us to keep those lenses polished and refuse to let them go back to the illusions they tried to peddle for so long. This ability to see through to the sheer ugliness and reprehensible nature of these people may forever be considered the “Charlie Kirk effect”.
There have been many references indicating large portions of the population will be damned to hell. Trying to see the good in people, it was at times difficult to understand the vastness of this. With the recent revelation of so many people citing acceptance of murdering people who they disagree with, it has become quite clear the above mentioned references are rather easy to believe.
Evil has for the longest time worked patiently under the guise of incrementalism, which pushed for a yard and gladly takes several inches that wouldn’t have ordinarily gotten by pushing for just a few inches. But the push never ends. It’s a constant state of rinse and repeat until they’ve amassed lots of wealth and power. Even with recent Republican presidents there was always a continuation of acceding to demands of the left.
With Trump in power and the skills to quickly dismantle what they’ve worked so long and hard for with a wrecking ball, they are in utter disarray, scrambling to keep their relevance and power by any means necessary. They are no longer able to act in discrete shadows with complicit & corrupt accomplices keeping the lies secret. Their go-to tactics are losing their sway over people who’ve heard the lies far to often. They’ve screamed negative accusations to the point where few believe them anymore. Also, people are (finally) awakening to the damaging policies pushed by the left that greatly affects them.
Heaven has set the stage for a reckoning. Evil knows the time is short and will do everything possible to keep it from happening, regardless of the destruction it causes. Be diligent, be prayerful, be counted on to stand for true justice. Some have already paid the ultimate price, many others are willing. The future is at stake.
They call it free speech. This is nothing more than an attempt to incite someone else to commit an assassination without actually paying them, but that too is unclear at this point.

In other words, ABC wanted to signal character and thought that a token weeklong suspension with pay would accomplish this and send the message that this is a principled network with standards. But in fact their fake temporary pretense to integrity followed so closely by their slavish resumption of their true identity of Leftist Lapdog Media has had the opposite effect. They would have been better off if they had just ridden out the disgusting Kimmel spew the same way they look the other way every time he dives for the bottom of the Integrity Barrel and let it pass, like bad sushi, instead of trying to play both sides against the middle.
One obvious reaction to this would be “Will he be funny this time around?”
