Animal Farm was Orwell’s stinging parody of Stalin’s rule in Russia. The lies. The corruption. The secret police. The hypocrisy. Naturally, it is now being remade in a big budget film where the villain is – wait for it! – the Capitalist!

Yes, that’s it! The nice, wonderful Commies are doing a great job and it is all ruined by a Capitalist who subverts it.

It is a…well…rather Orwellian perversion of the story. And oh, so very 1984 in that it is a falsification of history. The kids ain’t reading, guys. And they won’t want to watch the old 1954 animated version (too stale in looks!) so going into the future if someone wants to find out about Orwell they’re going to find out he was a Communist who exposed how Capitalists ruin everything.

This is why the Right simply had to get into pop culture. We have to start writing books (doing my best!), songs, movies, TV shows…painting, sculpture. And we can’t just copy what was done before the Left ruined everything. It does have to be fresh and new – something that will appeal to people who are only barely literate in the traditional sense (they might be able to read words, but if you try to lay on them something as complex as, say, 1984, they won’t be able to fully understand it). This is where people like Musk have to step forth…we need money. Lots of it. We need to reward those who are right now in the infancy of an alternative pop culture.

Trump is going to address the nation – as of now, I don’t know for certain about what, but we’ve got quite a fleet off South America and Trump showing he’s rather upset with the corrupt, communist narco-terrorists down there. The Right is on the march down south – Chile being the latest nation to toss the Left out. But in Venezuela and Columbia as well as other places, the Left is too deeply entrenched (and is too willing to kill) to remove from power by normal means. I think Trump wants to give things a little shove. But, we’ll see! You never can tell what Trump has up his sleeve.

Trump caught a lot of flack over his post about Rob Reiner’s death. OTOH, Trump would catch a lot of flack if he posted, “I like apple pie”. TDS is widespread. But what was irritating was the number of people on the Right – not TDS-infected Never Trumpers – who took the opportunity to tut tut about it. As if they had just been waiting for their chance to show how morally superior they are. Like that is actually a morally correct thing to do…or that it is something that helps.

Look, I get that many have fond memories of Reiner as “Meathead” on All in the Family (a very conventionally Liberal , anti-American show in hindsight) as well as his movies Spinal Tap (mediocre with only one really funny scene) and The Princess Bride (cute enough, but it doesn’t hold up well – saw it for the first time in years a couple years back and it is definitely at the bottom of the re-watch list…its cuteness doesn’t sustain itself). Additionally, the manner in which he died was horrific – nobody should have to go like that. But none of this changes the fact that Reiner, for the last ten years of his life, voluntarily became a vicious liar for political purposes.

It wasn’t a mistake. He didn’t misinterpret the data. He set out to lie because, in his mind, Trump did the unforgivable thing of defeating Hillary. Reminder: all of these Hollywood types were good friends of Trump. Sought him out. Honored him. Couldn’t wait to be around him. Until Trump decided to challenge Hillary…whom the Hollywood types wanted as President because that is what the Script said. She had stood by Bill (as so many Hollywood types have stood by cheating spouses) and the payoff for that was supposed to be the White House (akin to a movie or book deal). Trump ruined all that. They had a whole host of TV shows and movies based upon the idea of a female President. Trump took it all away – and, so, when Hillary had her nervous breakdown about it, Hollywood took its cue and went to work. Knowingly. Voluntarily. Deciding that poisoning American politics was worth it if it could harm Trump.

Those lies are not funny. They have got people killed. They already sparked two attempts on Trump’s life (that we know of). They got Trump’s friends and allies ruined in Lawfare of the most foul, Stalinist sort. They have the USA today simmering on the edge with violence common and Civil War a possibility. Was Reiner the only person to do this? No. Was he even the most important? Again, no. But he was a willing participant in it and he never backed away. It was his own son who killed him – his now 32 year old son, who has a long history of drug addiction. Meaning that over the last ten years, when his son was 22 to 32 to years old and battling demons, Rob was taking the time out of his day to lie about Trump. This is just freaking bizarre – but it it was Rob chose to be.

So, no, we are not morally obligated to forget all that. In fact, it is far more morally important that we view things clearly than try to soften things up with pablum. Lives are at stake in our ability to fearlessly state the truth. And the truth is that whatever Reiner was in the past, for the last part of his life he decided to do very bad things. Trump called that out. And it should be called out. Yes, the evil that men do is interred with their bones – in that Reiner’s fate is really up to God now. But we have an obligation to not set up a system where a vicious liar is honored. Only a repentant liar may be honored.

The Left is trying to sweep the murders at Brown under the rug. Have to: if Jews and the few Conservatives at Brown were targeted, then all of higher education is going to feel the heat. The Left is hoping they can string things out and hope the news cycle changes (I think the fracas over the Reiner post was partially because of that – they wanted us to talk about anything else but Brown – especially after the pogrom in Australia). I’m hoping that Trump’s people are looking at it very closely…I want to find out just how deep the colleges are with antifa and Hamas.

On Monday, Dec. 15, the president fired off a social media post, saying Reiner’s death was “reportedly due to the anger he caused others through… a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”

“He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump,” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social.

Later at The White House on Monday, responding to a question about the GOP pushback on his social media post and whether he stands by it, Trump said, “I wasn’t a fan of his at all. He was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned.”

Compared to the what the Left has said about Trump over the last 10 years, this is pretty mild. I saw Rob Reiner commenting about Trump numerous times in recent years, and he WAS deranged.

On another topic, history continues to move on:

The final pennies minted in the U.S. sold for $16.76 million at auction Friday, with 232 three-coin sets each marked with the Greek omega symbol signifying the end of the coin’s 232-year run.

The most expensive set, numbered 232, sold for $800,000 and included the last circulating pennies from both the Philadelphia and Denver mints, as well as the final gold omega penny and canceled dies used to strike the series.

President Trump ordered production halted in February after the U.S. Mint reported losing $85.3 million in fiscal 2024, making pennies that cost more than 2 cents each to produce.

Trump should not have made his comments.

It is easy for us to stand back and objectively say that no one should have a negative response to the violent death of Rob Reiner, because he never attacked US personally, repeatedly, viciously, dishonestly, publicly, for years. If I had been publicly named and attacked and vilified and lied about for a decade or so by someone who was then murdered, I might very well fail to be kind in mentioning him or his passing.

But even so, I don’t like what Trump said and wish he had taken a moment to reconsider, and by saying I understand where he was coming from I am not saying I defend it because I think he was wrong.

Reiner evidently had two sides. One was a kind, loving, loyal friend as eulogized by James Woods, but one was an irrational hostile hate-driven jerk driven, as far as I could tell, not by objective political conviction but by the demons of Identity Politics and tribal allegiance. Upon his death it is kinder of us to acknowledge the first, but Trump responded to the latter.

I think the most dangerous thing about most American Democrats is not their ideology, because they don’t have one. It’s the ideology they unwittingly enable and support, but mostly it is their smug conviction of utter rightness. This is what allows them to justify things like that attack on the woman wearing the Charlie Kirk T shirt. This is what allows them to justify the killing of Charlie Kirk. This is what allows them to justify election fraud. This is what allows them to justify all the vile and vicious things they say and do. It is the sense of overriding virtue, which leads to entitlement, which leads to unfettered expressions of malignant emotion.

I think President Trumps response to Rob Reiner’s death is justified, considering how the Left celebrated at the death of a young man, a father, a husband whose life imitated that of what a man should truly be, far beyond anything Rob Reiner achieved in his lifetime.

A strong argument can be made for “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything”. Might have been wiser for Trump to just move on to something else…OTOH, he is one of the most combative people we’ve ever had in the White House and Reiner had been lying about Trump for a long while. Might have been impossible for Trump to not take a shot at a last dig.

What is weirder—that this foul-mouthed harridan felt entitled to approach and attack a stranger for supporting someone with a different political opinion, or that she was so smug in her assumed moral superiority that she filmed it, or that she then thought she would be making a legitimate point by posting it online?

It’s three descending levels of insanity, amplified by the assumed occupancy of the Higher Moral Ground. And it not only illustrated these levels of mental instability, it pointed out yet another defect in her character—her ignorance. She was not only incapable of expressing herself without vulgarity, she made it clear that she had never taken it upon herself to actually learn what Charlie Kirk had said that let the Left brand him as a “racist”.

As far as I can tell, the “racist” claim about Charlie Kirk is based on a comment he made online referring specifically to three female members of Congress and saying they lacked the mental capacity to serve in Congress. It just so happens that they are all black, which of course the Left, in its pathological dependence on projection, spun—-and presented to its mouthbreathing base—as an attack on the intelligence of all black women.

The Left, helped as usual by its lapdog Complicit Agenda Media, found two ways to exploit this statement. One was to simply lie and claim the comment referred to all black women, and the other was to distract from the very real and obvious fact that he was right—that the examples he gave are blatantly incapable of intelligently serving in Congress.

And the offensive attacker is a nurse? Why is that we keep seeing examples of doctors and nurses acting in such uncivilized and vicious ways? If that creature were to come into my hospital room to “care” for me and I recognized her as the person who filmed and then posted that clip I would demand that someone else be assigned to me. This level of hatred, coupled with the irrational conviction that people with different opinions should be punished for them, is not acceptable in people entrusted with caring for the sick or injured. What if I were to come into the Emergency Room, injured, wearing that Charlie Kirk shirt and the attending nurse was this foul-mouthed hate-driven bigot? Could I count on quality, compassionate, care? I really doubt it.

Anyone paying attention would not be surprised. Think there’ll be any lawsuits?

Former Pfizer vice president: COVID shots were ‘designed to cause injury,’ reduce fertility

“But by design, the COVID-19 shots contain a “gene sequence” that causes the cells to “manufacture a foreign protein.” In response, the immune system “goes to war and attacks and kills every cell that complies with that instruction” causing neurological and autoimmune diseases “where your body destroys itself.”

This was the product design of each of the manufacturers, including Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and AstraZeneca.”

We’ve known for years that the “vaccine” has concentrated itself in the reproductive organs, raising questions of future fertility as well as possible mutations of the next generation(s) due to the DNA manipulations and damage. Any effort to discuss this was met with threats of prosecution (for the Orwellian “offense” of “misinformation”) and even imprisonment.

Dr. Malone, whose research was the foundation for the developing rMNA technology on which the “vaccines” are based started trying to warn us about these dangers back in 2020. His persecution by the government, as well as through the media and medical organizations, was described by him last week in one of his newsletters. There was a coordinated effort to destroy him, personally and professionally. One thing he kept pointing out was that we had set a process in motion with no way to turn it off.

The government, through the Biden administration, was fully complicit in this. The government continued to demand the use of these dangerous experimental drugs, forcing people to inject them, lying about their effectiveness and most of all about their alleged safety, and funneling billions of dollars to the companies making and marketing them, while providing legal protections from liability by continuing the Emergency Use Authorization to keep them in the system. I’ve been saying for nearly five years now that these facts alone, when fully documented and publicized, will form one leg of the biggest scandal in American history.

(The other leg will be the suppression of, and demonization of, effective therapeutics and the demand that people with Covid be denied these drugs and forced into using the dangerous and often lethal ventilators instead, causing tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths. This was a complex hustle, comprised of the demonization and denial of simple, available, proven, affordable treatments combined with the threats to medical people wanting to use these treatments to save lives, combined with the media-driven panic that led to communities repurposing facilities to create huge new “treatment” centers —which were never used—-and revamping industry to make hundreds of thousand of useless ventilators.

I naively thought this was prompted by sheer politics—the need to generate a dramatic narrative in which Donald Trump was simultaneously blamed for the panic and deaths while people were denied treatments because he had suggested them and the determination was that he could not be given any credit for helping during the “crisis”. But as facts continue to be revealed, as insiders continue to talk, it seems that the Trump aspect was only part of the overall scheme, which was a coordinated biological attack on the people not just of this country but of the world.)

Deceased baby girl delivered to funeral home without her organs

Samaria Bates and her fiancé, Kenneth Sauls, welcomed premature twin girls on October 23, 2025, when they were born at 29 weeks at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital. Thankfully, the infants had no major health problems, but they were kept in the neonatal intensive care unit to grow older and stronger before being discharged home.

For six weeks the babies did well. However, when their father arrived on December 5 for a routine visit he was blocked from entering because a “sterile procedure” was taking place. The family had not been notified of any medical emergency. Sadly, little Samaria died later that same day. But it gets worse. Even though Samaria’s parents say they did not consent to organ removal, when their baby arrived at the funeral home her organs were missing.

The world of organ transplants has extended into the most vile, evil arena. We knew abortion of the unborn was just a stepping stone, a deadening of emotions, to advance into euthanasia and other methods intended to procure organs. These procedures have become so profitable that in countries like China, large numbers of people deemed “expendable” are being used, without any regard as to the individual’s desire. IVF is also an element of this horrific development, creating new humans that are treated like farm animals, solely for the purpose of organ harvesting.

I would expect an autopsy to determine why she died, and file a massive suit against the hospital

We pay no attention here to the organ harvesting done in China. It used to be mostly from the Uyghurs, who have been enslaved and treated like livestock anyway and then it came out that they were being used to harvest organs for transplanting. I have also read of questionable timing of organ harvesting from people determined to be brain-dead here in the United States.

And remember, the Left has been just fine with butchering healthy unborn babies to sell their body parts. There was a brief flurry of outrage, which the Left knew would die down as the practice simply continued but people stopped paying attention to it.

I love Jeff Childers’ description on the DNC’s decision not to publish the autopsy of the 2024 election:

Believe me— I am not making this story up. We do indeed live in the most entertaining timeline. The New York Times ran a delicious ironic story yesterday below the incredible headline —I promise this is real— “The D.N.C. Is Scrapping Its Report on What Went Wrong in 2024.

    image.png

When lanky, mild-mannered white guy Ken Martin was elected to head the Democrat National Party early this year, it was in the wake of the worst-case scenario for the donkey party: a national Trump landslide. After screwing up initial candidate selection so badly that Biden flamed out in the first Trump debate, the anti-democratic Democrat elites performed a quick coup, and with a David Copperfield-like wave of their ruling sticks —SHAZAM!— and a puff of sulphuric smoke, in ran Kamala the Cackler. She appeared without any time-wasting public debate, and saved all the risky controversy that might have been caused by Democrat primary voters.

Having anointed a new candidate, and like a Dyson super-vac set on ’11,’ party elites hoovered up a Solomonic warchest from donors— $2.5 billion spent over just six weeks. And still they lost every swing state. Every single one. Not just that, but despite all that money and effort, they lost both chambers of Congress, handing Trump a gold-embossed mandate and perfecting voters’ utter rejection of their “not Trump” agenda.

Enter Ken Martin. Ken won February’s contentious DNC election on a platform of transparency. His prime promise —which got him elected— was vowing to produce a 2020 Autopsy (he prefers: “after action report”), with no holds barred, no stone unturned, which he said was absolutely needed to rebuild the trust of the party’s disgruntled base, which was wondering (rightly) where all that money went.

🔥 Back in January, during the election, Martin ironically and loudly complained about a previous after-election report in 2016 that the DNC had buried before publication. “There was a post-election review done many years ago, right after the ‘16 election,” Martin recalled. “And that was never released. The DNC spent a lot of time and money on it, and it wasn’t even released to the DNC members. So what happened with that?”

    Famous last words #212.

As soon as Martin was elected, true to his promise, he got down to business. The DNC commissioned the “no stone unturned” review, conducted over 300 interviews across all 50 states, and then briefed some early findings to big donors in October. Throughout, Martin endured withering criticism and accusations that he was “slow walking” the report, but kept saying it was more important to get it right than to rush it out.

But yesterday, in his mild, Midwestern manner, Ken said never mind. “Mr. Martin will instead keep the findings under seal,” the Times reported. “Looking back so publicly and painfully at the past would prove counterproductive for the party as it tries next year to take back power in Congress,” it explained.

    image 2.png

In the most astonishing quote of all, the Mr. Rogers lookalike finally said the quiet part out loud: all the Democrats care about is winning. “Here’s our North Star: Does this help us win?” Mr. Martin said in a widely reported statement. “If the answer is no, it’s a distraction from the core mission.”

    And there you have it.

🔥 It was pretty rich. This win-at-all-costs mindset is the same kind of anti-democratic nonsense that got the Democrats into this mess in the first place. Shut up and let the party elites decide what you need to know. Had they run a competitive mini-primary in the summer of 2024, instead of just selecting Kamala, they might have found a stronger candidate.

Now they are doing the same thing, all over again, raising the question of who really runs the party? The party’s members? Clearly not. Shady, behind-the-scenes billionaires? Nancy Pelosi? An artificial intelligence in orbit? Emperor Palpatine?

I’m not the only one who noticed. The natives are down in the village busily rubbing their farm implements on sharpening stones and gathering firewood. For instance, here’s a carefully considered tweet from former Obama speechwriter and Pod Save America darling Jon Favreau:

    image 3.png

Others called the decision to seal up the report “cowardice,” “a hilarious self-own,” and “mind-bogglingly stupid.” Other folks described it in blunter terms, in ways that cannot be reprinted in this family blog.

But don’t judge too quickly. It’s not like they’re attacking democracy or anything. Coronating selected candidates without voting and burying inconvenient reports to protect the rich and powerful is definitely not ‘threatening democracy.’ Spending $2.5 billion in a blitz, losing every swing state and both chambers, then sealing the official report explaining how it all went wrong —especially the parts that might embarrass big donors and consultants— is just smart politics.

When Martin said winning trumps everything, that included voting, transparency, honest self-criticism, equal rights, rebuilding trust with the base, campaign promises, and control of the thermostat. And, apparently, winning even trumps democracy itself.

Do you suppose the elites who decided the bury the autopsy report carefully weighed the bad optics and potential backlash, and found the report so damaging that the tradeoff was worth it? Or did they just react to the report’s conclusions like vampires seeing garlic, and didn’t bother gaming out their decision? Either way, it’s not a good sign.

    • Amazona's avatar Amazona December 19, 2025 / 4:10 pm

“Had they run a competitive mini-primary in the summer of 2024, instead of just selecting Kamala, they might have found a stronger candidate.”

Well, that’s a fantasy. The strongest candidate they had, regarding actual qualifications, would never have gotten the support of the pro-Hamas Jew-hating base, and aside from Shapiro the Dems had the weakest bench since the 1962 Mets.

The ONLY thing the Dems had going for them was (and still is) their success in leading the weak-minded into blind Trump hatred, to the point of being self-destructive. Only that level of irrational loathing could explain the “I hate Trump so much I am willing to destroy the nation to prove it” attitude of today’s Dems.

Revisiting my comment about one leg of the greatest scandal in American history—the denial of proven therapeutics to Covid patients to (take your pick) (1) prevent the perception that President Trump tried to help people by naming some possibly beneficial treatments, and/or (2) to prevent control of Covid so it could do the most damage possible, there is this from today’s Coffee and Covid:

Here’s a clip from this week’s Joe Rogan Experience #2427 (December 17, 2025), where Bret Weinstein discusses Pierre Kory’s book “The War on Ivermectin.” The book documents 80 U.S. court cases between 2021-2022 as a kind of accidental natural experiment. In the cases, which were brought by families of patients who wanted courts to make hospitals administer the drug,  38 of 40 patients survived when courts ordered ivermectin, versus 38 patients out of 40 who died when courts denied ivermectin.

Mark, you mention the “rather Orwellian perversion of the story” (of Animal Farm).

Harper Lee, who wrote the wonderful book “To Kill A Mockingbird” in which her protagonist, Atticus Finch, was a courageous and heroic figure who stood up to the racism of the South, got woke and came back with a followup book decades later in which she recast Atticus as a racist himself, and not a very nice guy.

In other words, even classic literature has to be rewritten, in the best Soviet manner, to reflect the ideology of the radical Left.

It’s 80 degrees and sunny here in Florida today, much nicer than the report I just got from my neighbor in Colorado about weather events there—-winds over 120 MPH in places in Wyoming, a freight train derailed by wind, Interstate 25 closed due to high wind, all the stuff you expect from Class 3-4 hurricane winds though you expect them here instead of there.

And there are other reasons to like Florida, one of the top being Sheriff Grady Judd from Polk County. He is getting pretty famous—-there have even been a couple of British podcasts featuring him and his approach to crime. (“Just chill out. Drink a 7-Up. Eat a Moon Pie. Quit murdering people.” After advising Floridians to “get a gun” and “become proficient with it” he went on to say “and if you need to shoot somebody, shoot ’em a lot”. Talking about the shooting death of a man who shot and wounded a SWAT team member “we shot him graveyard dead”. “People who ask why an arrest warrant had to be served at that hour are morons.”)

    This is classic Grady Judd.
