The latest wrinkle Leftist federal district judges have come up with – if you are illegally in the USA for some undetermined period of time and “put down roots” you now have a legal interest in remaining in the USA and can’t be deported – or even detained – without due process of law. This is entirely in violation of the law as written. There is no “if you get away with it long enough” exception to immigration law. Sure, the appellate courts will eventually strike it down but then these judges will just try the next thing…because the law doesn’t matter to them. They are in place simply to impose Democrat policy preferences regardless of what the law says, or the people vote for.
We have to arrest them – we have tens of thousands of federal statutes on the books and these judges are in violation of some of them. Sure, pretty much all of us are to one degree or another…but the law is the law and if we find the violation, we can bring the charges. It is the only way I can think of to curb these people…to let them know we’re serious. Impeachment won’t work because of the 67 vote requirement in the Senate. So, we must find some other expedient to stop these ridiculous rulings from fanatics in judicial robes.
There’s a new STD floating around out there – Trichophyton mentagrophytes genotype. No, I had never heard of it, either. But, then again, I don’t get out much these days. It is a fungal infection which seems to have originated among sex tourists in Asia and it is commonly spread via sexual activity among “men who have sex with men”…which is the CDC’s way of not saying “homosexuals”. Apparently there is now a large outbreak in Minnesota…so, we wait for word on where the male officials of the State government have been vacationing of late.
Side note: that we have something called “sex tourism” is an abomination. People who do that should be flogged within an inch of their lives.
I’ve seen a lot of Right influencers – including some major Catholic accounts – on social media moving towards overt anti-Semitism. This, my friends, is the lure of cash…there are people who will pay you a lot of money to toe a line. The Left, of course, does this – you can’t really think these Leftist accounts which repeat the most absurd lies actually believe it. But some people will sell their soul for money. Now it is happening on the Right. Keep in mind that I blog and post on X and I’m just this guy…I’m doing ok, but suppose someone proposed to double my annual income at the stroke of a pen and all I had to do was lie about Jews? It is chump change to the person buying the influence…it would be life-changing for me. To be sure, I believe I am morally strong enough to reject such an offer (and, in fact, will never get into a position to have the offer made…those who are bought are cultivated over time until the offer is made)…but no matter what, there will always be people who will give into temptation.
It is everywhere, my friends. Latest revelation is that Code Pink is apparently heavily funded by the Chinese Communist Party. Why wouldn’t they? An organization made up of people who hate America and who want it destroyed? Of course you kick a couple bucks over to them. Qatari money. Saudi money. Russian money. EU money. All of it filtered through various dark money organizations and passed out to people who will hew to a propaganda line no matter how absurd it is…because it is propaganda directed at an American population increasingly ignorant of basic history (read that in Philadelphia public schools they don’t mention things like the Civil War or WWII but they will tell you that Settler-Colonialism is evil, while Islam is good). That is, you can say really rather stupid lies and hardly anyone out there will have the knowledge to call you out on it.
There’s an article in New York Magazine which laments that the historically black neighborhoods of NYC are demographically changing…you know, the local population being replaced by outsiders. This is, I gather, bad…but apparently only if its a black neighborhood.
Side note on that: NYC is becoming a place where you can live if you are desperately poor or fabulously rich…but if you just work for a living, you can’t stay. This is same in California, Illinois, Washington, Massachusetts…and we can take a guess why these areas are like that.

He’s now frantically flipping through his previously unopened copy, sure that back in the day he saw something about federal judges having the Constitutional authority to make laws and decide which can be ignored—-he’s pretty sure it’s in between the part saying women can’t vote and where it enshrines slavery.
And here another ugly truth about the Left slips out—they truly believe that the Court has a “side”, and is not just charged with objectively analyzing the meaning and intent of the Constitution as it was written. That’s why they say stupid things like “the Court has to be BALANCED”—because to them the Court is merely another stage where opposing sides try to prevail.
They have absolutely no understanding of the Constitution or the role of the Court, and futhermore see both as mere impediments to grasping of power.
Yep – and by “balanced” they mean “rules the way we want all the time”.
Federal district judges are not Constitutional offices…they are created by Congress per the Constitution. They have only such authority as Congress assigns to them. Congress explicitly denied federal district courts any authority over immigration cases. It is not a judicial matter – they are not being put on trial, they are being sent home after a determination is made they are illegally in country or are otherwise persona non grata. It is either start to arrest them or just abolish the district courts altogether.
Which would you prefer? Because we won’t keep going with a system where leftist district judges pretend they have authority over the Executive Branch which the Supreme Court has already said they don’t have.
I expect judges to know these things. I don’t expect the average flying monkey level Lefty to know (or care) what “due process” really means or where it is applicable, but for some reason I think that judges, with law degrees and years of legal experience, would understand.
How fitting that this follows a comment from Casper. He’s the first one I thought of when I saw this:

I still don’t know if he actually used those words, but I did a little research and discovered that the Left is working really really hard to push this lie.
Newsweek offered a perfect example of the verbal tap dancing these people are going through to promote this crazy claim. In an article stunning in its dishonesty, even for Newsweek, its headline blared Married Women Could Be Stopped From Voting Under SAVE Act
This required Newsweek to do some artful slicing and dicing of fact, snipping a little here and a little there and carefully rearranging the bits and pieces into an acceptable, if Picasso-esque, picture wholly dependent on the stupidity of Leftist women.
It starts with facts: “The SAVE Act lists several types of documentation that would be accepted, including a form of identification issued consistent with the requirements of the REAL ID Act of 2005, a valid United States passport, valid military ID, forms of Tribal identification and proof of naturalization. ” So far so good. It skirts honesty here by admitting these are not the only forms of identification allowed, leaving room for verified driver’s licenses and other state-issued photo IDs for people who do not drive. But it admits there is a requirement for an acceptable form of identification TO VOTE.
Here is when they get clever, where they sidestep from what has to be presented to vote and what has to be presented to get that ID in the first place. And here is when they slyly slip in the birth certificate issue. The implication is that one can show up to vote and show a birth certificate to prove citizenship, which leads to the evidently insurmountable problem of having adifferent name than that on the birth certificate. (Obviously a birth certificate alone doesn’t prove who you are, so you would need another form of verified ID, leading back to the original point.)
Here is where an intelligent person stops and goes “???” Who does that? For that matter, HOW do you do that? Think about it: Suzy Awfl goes to vote and shows her driver’s license, which has her maiden name on it because she has refused to bow down to the patriarchy and assume the slave name of her husband, blah blah blah. She got this license by showing her BC. To vote, she doesn’t show the BC, she shows the license. The existence of the license verifies that she had, and provided, a BC. So, no problem. One document, one name.
But her sister-in-law, Karen Awfl, did change her name when she got married, and has been using her married name ever since, though it is not the same as the one on her BC. How could she do this? one might query, if one were as dumb as a box of hair. Well, after she got married she went into the DMV with her license and a certified copy of her marriage certificate and the DMV clerk then used this sequence of proofs—BC to license (already verified) to certificate—to issue a new DL under the legal married name. That is, the only way to get an ID with a different name on it is to provide legal proof of a legal name change. (And she did the same thing at her SS office.)
So when Karen goes to vote, she only has one name—the one on her driver’s license, issued after an approved sequence of proof of identity There is no way for her to confuse anyone at the polling place by producing two IDs with different names, because 1) she wouldn’t produce her BC anyway and 2) her current DL has been issued based on verification of a legal name change.
In other words, THERE IS NO PROBLEM
Except now Newsweek adds just a teeny tiny little lie. OK, a big giant lie. They say “Many of these forms of ID, other than a passport, either include a birth certificate or must be presented alongside a birth certificate.” Really? Is there a single person in this country who has ever had to produce a copy of his birth certificate to prove identification or citizenship other than to acquire verified identification and citizenship? EVER? This is a complete and total lie. For this statement to be true it would have to say “These forms of ID, including passports, are assigned after production of a birth certificate and any other documentation supporting a legal name change”.
Then the article states a fact (“The SAVE Act does not include proof of name change or a marriage certificate as acceptable proof of identity.’) but doesn’t bother to add that neither of these documents would ever be accepted anywhere as “acceptable proof of identity” and no one would even try. Imagine being carded at a bar and trying to get by with a marriage certificate. No, the marriage certificate and/or legal proof of name change are provided to support the issuance of a Real ID, and ARE accepted as proof of identity if accompanied by adequate other proofs, such as a driver’s license or SS card.
So what Newsweek does is take fragments of fact, mix them up, and pull out bits and pieces to create a fantasy with no relationship whatsoever to the truth. None.
Every woman who chooses to use her married name instead of maiden name goes through the same simple process—go to DMV with old license and marriage license to establish chain of identity, walk out with new ID.

Heck, I’m Catholic and I think birth control is a sin and I still won’t agree to a ban – in old-timey speak, I hath not the competence to decide if any person will use birth control. The use of it does not deny anyone’s right to life, liberty or property. It is not something under my purview as a citizen of the Republic.

Everyone has a picture ID. You can’t live in the USA in 2026 without an ID – even if you are a street bum, you gotta have ID. And such do have ID. This concept that there is some substantial number of Americans who lack ID is simple nonsense. But Karen Awfl after a day of yelling at ICE and demanding the Jews get out of Israel comes home, flips on the TV and hears the horrible news: requiring an ID denies the right to vote! She imagines hordes of poor women, black and brown people disenfranchised…after all, such people aren’t as smart as Karen, you see? Can’t be expected to take care of that – Karen is smart, don’t you know? She’s got her degree in Educational Studies from Swarthmore and she clearly remembers the professor saying that black people are helpless victims! Or something like that – she was pretty busy back then blaming the Catholic Church for AIDS so its all a little hazy. Anyways, she now knows what she must do: Vote Democrat!
A Leftist is someone who is naturally inclined toward control (as in, let’s put the federal government in charge of everything) so is going to project that inclination and motive onto everyone else.

So we came back down to Cabo a couple days ago and will stay for the rest of the month and I have been thinking about Caspers comment on the halftime show and how that performance gave him and better understanding of Latin culture … LOL. Now I am not making fun of you Casper but that level of superficiality is funny. We LOVE Mexico, the people are just amazing, the environment is always very casual and laid back, no one is on edge around here, they are very family oriented and the church we go to on the beach is transcendent. BUT at the same time, we know the country is corrupt. You should see the roads here … even around Cabo, many are simply dirt roads, and the paved roads have pothole that will eat cars, and considering the tourism here and the volume of money spent here everyday, it’s hard to believe. I was talking with a waiter of ours last night and said to him, if Cabo would just enact a 1/2% tourism tax, the roads would be made of gold, to which he replied “it would just get stolen” LOL. They are aware of the corruption and just surrender to it ….

I don’t think Casper and the others in his echo chamber understand how insulting it is to claim that a show featuring things like miming anal sex and crotch-grabbing and filthy lyrics and hatred of America reflects “Spanish culture”. To claim that this display of crudity and degeneracy is in any way related to “Spanish culture” is repellent to most who understand and respect this culture. The claim can only be parroted by people ignorant of Spanish culture, but eager to pander to Leftist anti-American themes.
This was a thumb in the eye of America and Americans, using what is a symbol of America (football) to express disdain for the country and its people. That’s no surprise—it is what the Left does. What is a surprise is how many mental lemmings have chugged that KoolAid, fawning over the alleged “culture” and “history” they are told are “referenced” in the act.
Never “referenced” were FALN, the Puerto Rican terrorist group, or the rampant corruption that left billions of dollars of American aid to rot or just disappear without ever getting to the people or the disaster that is the Puerto Rican electrical grid.
I have worked in Central and South America, and worked with people from those areas here in the United States, not to mention extensive experience with Mexico and Mexicans. I have never met a single person of Spanish heritage who had anything at all in common with the vile filthy show the Lib lemmings are still gushing about.
Someone on X posted some social media threads of Indian immigrants instructing each other on how to scam the system…get green cards, get benefits, etc. My comment on that was that the more I learn of how Indians operate, the more I understand why the Raj operated like it did.
There is a culture in India. Just as there is in Mexico. In Pakistan. In China. So on and so forth. Not all of these cultures are alike and not all of them are equal. This doesn’t mean there isn’t good and beauty in India, Mexico, Pakistan and China…there is. They are human beings, just like us. But their cultural background is different and so they approach the problems of life differently from us. Sometimes this is perfectly harmless…food, dress, music. But if a person comes from a culture where the imperative is to grab every advantage then, guess what?, they’ll grab every advantage…and look upon those who think you should play fair and obey the rules as mere suckers.
This is why we must be selective in who we allow in – and this was all Enoch Powell was saying in his “rivers of blood” (so-called) speech. To import aliens who have no love for or connection to the society is suicidal. The Brits in India back in the 19th century knew what they were dealing with and governed accordingly – sure, they also imposed some British values on India, but only to curb the worst excesses…you know, like throwing a live woman on her husband’s funeral pyre. For the most part, they let Indians be Indians and set their laws and regulations with Indian cultural norms in mind…that is, the complete Indian was going to try to get over on you, the foolish outsider. The Brits knew that if you granted the inch, the mile would be taken…so, they never granted the inch…except to those Indians who would learn and adopt English ways. Entry into the Indian Civil Service was open to all regardless of race…but you had to be educated up to the highest British standards. This would mean, Indian or British, you had better know multiple Indian languages, Indian history and the ins and outs of the government and society of India. To be sure, setting the examinations in London (to start) meant very few Indians could take the shot…but they could. And they did. And they were as honest and hardworking as everyone else in the Indian Civil Service.
This is why my view has shifted a lot – if we are to have immigrants, they must know English before they arrive. They can’t be under the age of 18 or over 30. I would prefer we didn’t allow married in at all (I want to encourage them to marry outside their ethnic group). They must arrive with at least $10,000 in cash and have some marketable skill. In short, they must be ready-made to be American and must desire to be American right out the gate.

I’ve become quite a Rubio fan, to the point of regretting that he is not eligible to be president, because I think he would be great. I like Vance, but think of him as a wingman, not the top of the ticket. I’m keeping an eye on DeSantis, wondering how he is going to play the next two years, and hoping Trump doesn’t decide to go all scorched-earth on him to protect Vance.
I tend to think that it will be much like a siphon—-once the flow has started and creates a vacuum, the rest will follow to fill it. It always takes one bold one to go first, to take the risk and show it can be done.
Europe has lost its backbone, and become quite timid, cringing under the lash of Leftist rhetoric about “diversity” and “tolerance”, terrified of not being perceived as totally open to everything thrown at it. Once the Left succeeded in establishing the lie of “diversity” as an absolute in terms of moral purity, European nations have fallen all over themselves to be purer than the next guy, and the Left’s invented paradigm of American intolerance weighed against the virtue of Europe just made it harder for Europe to step back and realize it has not been signaling virtue but surrender.
The smugness of Europe goes back to colonial days, when the rude upstarts on the western side of the pond started acting like they could run their own country, and it has never gone away. That preening snobbishness has always been there as they have been quite assured of their vastly superior intellect, morality and sophistication. They have looked down their noses at us as mere “cowboys” and rubes.
So now they have these upstart cowboys telling them, in cowboy terms, how the cow is going to have to eat the cabbage. With all of European leadership lined up tittering to each other about the magnificence of the emperor’s new clothes (in this case, the glories of multiculturalism) Donald Trump and his posse are riding into town making fun of them and stripping away the pretense of moral and intellectual superiority.
I think Europe will follow along because it has no choice. It can’t fight back economically, and it looks like the common folk are starting to rebel against the “leaders” leading them over the cliff. I’ve been expecting England to blow up any day, as the people are being told they have no rights and that immigrants can completely rewrite the laws, rape their daughters, take over their businesses and turn the UK into the Middle East. Italy is already backing off from the Left’s efforts to force all of Europe into a suicide pact and the Scandinavian countries are starting to take steps to reclaim their heritage and culture. We’re going to get down to England and Germany and France. Germany has always been a hot mess, for some reason very susceptible to Leftism and Identity Politics, and France is going to have to fish or cut bait—after decades of rabidly defending French history and culture even to the point of not allowing Americanisms like the words “drugstore” or “hotdog” to be used, it is going to have to decide whether or not to just completely give up or start to fight back. And the tectonic shift of politics in the Western Hemisphere has to be having an effect on the calculations of European leaders.
I do believe we are nearing a tipping point and I love watching our own leaders being ready to give a little shove if necessary.
