Nancy Pelosi: Reactionary Liberal

Just can’t let go of the Big Government which made her rich – from The Weekly Standard:

Nancy Pelosi on today’s vote: “What we’re trying to do is save the world from the Republican budget. We’re trying to save life on this planet as we know it today.”

It is important to keep in mind what “as we know it” applies here – it applies to people like Nancy Pelosi.  People who produce no wealth; people who grow fat off of a corrupt, crony-capitalist system; people who look down upon the benighted masses who didn’t join the Ruling Class in looting the nation.  So, she’s right – she’s trying to save life as she knows it…if we win, she’s through; she and all the corrupt barnacles of American life.

So, let’s get out there and make her nightmare come true.

I wonder if tommy-boy ranks this latest screed from the left as “fear mongering”.

Of course, any bad prediction by those on the right are just fear mongering but as usual tommy-boy (lebowitz) ignores the blatant and real fear mongering from the left.

libs = commies = socialists, LIE
    so what else is new?
    They also MURDER

Interesting to note is the fact that all of this hysteria from the left is over conservatives desire to put America on sound financial footing. Even the CC&B bill, which is probably the best plan out there, increases spending next year. So voters need to know that liberals think that balancing the budget and living within our means is radical and dangerous.

Mark, just how did the government make Nancy Pelosi rich? I would like more details. Now, if you want to discuss someone who has always received their wealth from the government, you might want to discuss Michelle and Marc Bachmann. (but probably not) Both have heavily depended on the government for their wealth. Ms. Bachmann has never held a job that was not government salaried. Mr. Bachmann’s practice depends heavily upon government payments. If Nancy Pelosi and her husband did in fact get rich through government programs I have never heard what programs they were dependent on.

I don’t think you are credible to just make statements like this without facts to back it up. If you can provide actual proof I will accept that. But seriously, one of your biggest faults in your blogs is that you make outlandish statements with no evidence to back them up. I understand you are a right wing conservative and as such will always support the right wing conservative positions. However, to maintain credibility you need to make sure you are not writing just hyperbole but actual truth.

“I don’t think you are credible to just make statements like this without facts to back it up.”

“Ms. Bachmann has never held a job that was not government salaried.”

Dreggs, that statement alone shows your ignorance and your unwillingness to do your own research.

She did not enter political office until 2000. She and her husband own their own business.

Sheesh woman, stop with the mindless talking points.

      • Thomas July 29, 2011 / 1:15 pm

you sure right tired of facts?

hmmm..you’re just like Marky Mark when you ignore facts and spew BS. well good thing I am here to correct you.

from 1988 to 1993 she worked for the IRS. when her home was a foster home for troubled children, she received money from the State of Minnesota. this was from 1992-2000

Her “business” gets about 30k each year from 2006 to 2010 from the federal government.

Her husband’s farm…which he got from his father got about 260k between 1998-2006 in crop subsidies.

Hmmm….looks like you’re a damn liar, and she has been making money from OUR tax dollars since 1988. Good try though idiot.

        tired

I think she MEANT, O-chimpy never held a job.
silly scummy must be gender and color blind as well as dumb.

      • Sunny July 29, 2011 / 4:55 pm

tired of real facts – Ms. Bachmann started her career with the IRS – from there went into state politics and then on to the US House of Representatives. Get YOUR facts straight big boy. Her husband’s practice heavily depends financially on government payments. Yes, they live off the government. And Ms. Bachmann’s farming interests has taken a lot of money in farming subsidies. For someone who hates the government as much as she does, she and her husband sure do not have a problem taking tax payers money.

      • tiredoflibbs July 29, 2011 / 9:01 pm

So dreggs, you will be first in line to get rid of all government subsidies, cut down on government salaries and reduce the size of government since so many are getting “rich” off of them.

So you are against people like Bachmann taking care of troubled children. Yeah, they should just be thrown out into the streets. They don’t need state support for these kids BRING BACK THE ORPHANAGES!!!

Working for the IRS, just let people cheat on taxes we don’t need the IRS anyway. Oh, I get it, she was a real attorney for the IRS and that just sticks in your craw.

Let’s see, meanwhile Pelosi and other democrats use their position to pass legislation that benefits themselves (or their spouses), their friends and special interests – no conflicts there!!!

Besides vandregg, NEVER is a long time, Bachemann did have a private job which was my point to begin with. It flew over your GOP hating head.

Sunny, I know this is hard for you but do some research and find out how much Miss Oiggy was worth before she went to congresss as compared to today. You might also want to do some research on her husband who also has gotten much richer since Miss Piggy has been in congress. Alas, I do not expect you to do anything because it would be real work.

I hear Miss Piggy is behind on her botax payments and her botox Doc is getting ready to sue. Now there is a nightmare. 🙂

    • Sunny July 29, 2011 / 9:26 am

GMB – no it is not hard for me to research. However, the person making the allegations need to back up their statements with facts. It should not be my job to research what Mark puts out as facts.

Apparently your mother did not raise you with much in the manners department. Your name calling is quite childish. Is Neo you dad? You sound like him – and that is not a compliment.

      • Green Mountain Boy July 29, 2011 / 9:32 am

Funny that, I’ll take it as a compliment. Miss Piggy has called me every name in the book, accused me of all kinds of garbage. She is a politician, can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.
I am still curious. You have the exact same writing style as a poster on another blog. Are you sure “Iceweasel” is not another one of your alter egos?

      • tiredoflibbs July 29, 2011 / 9:42 am

        GMB, Sunny is vandregg.

Whereas YOUR mommy raised YOU to snarl “bite me!” whenever someone points out your foolishness and/or your lies.

You don’t like what Mark says? Refute it.

Not quibble with it, “rebuke” it, or any such nonsense. Prove it wrong or shut up and go away.

But please quit your incessant whining, bitching, moaning, and regurgitation of often-disproved radical Lefty talking points. Sneakily changing your posting name does not make you any smarter or more relevant than you were when you were just plain dumb Velma from Tulsa.

Isn’t there SOME place people can tolerate you?

“…as we know it.” Truer words have never been spoken, but from Pelosi, that’s news!. Yes, after 2012 elections we won’t know a President that seems to have the nations continued downturn continue. We may not have to deal with democratic majority in the Senate. Yes, that’s change we can live with, but not without. Yes, things as we know them will change. Thanks Nancy for the words of encouragement!

  7. Amazona July 29, 2011 / 12:56 pm

“As we know it..” seems to be the new radical Lefty mantra. It’s as close to honesty as they are ever going to get.

Barry bleats that the GOP is trying to “end Medicare…..AS WE KNOW IT..”

Nan whimpers that the GOP is trying to “…save life on this planet AS WE KNOW IT TODAY .”

Just think for a moment if such demagogues had been fighting to preserve their special interests in other areas, at other times.

Candlemaker, referring to the electric light bulb: “This will end illumination AS WE KNOW IT”.

Buggy maker talking about the automobile: “We are trying to save transportation AS WE KNOW IT TODAY”.

Nomadic hunter unhappy about the prospect of tribes forming villages and starting to grow food: “This will end our civilization AS WE KNOW IT”.

Monarchists in the American colonies, talking about the proposed Constitution: <But this will end government AS WE KNOW IT".

Funny, isn't it, how a party can run on the mantra of "change" and then squeal about any effort to make something different than it is AS WE KNOW IT.

I am not a Nancy Pelosi fan by any means, but the truth does matter to me.

She married her first serious boyfriend, rising businessman Paul Pelosi, and moved with him to New York, where he became prosperous and she became the mother of five in just six years.

Like most members of Congress, Pelosi is a multi-millionaire. Mostly on the strength of her husband’s portfolio of commercial real estate, the Pelosis’ net worth is at least $25M and may be as high at $92M — financial disclosure forms for federal officials report assets and liabilities in broad ranges, so the figure is difficult to pinpoint. The Pelosis own a small office building in San Francisco and another in the suburbs of Marin County, as well as millions of dollars in stock in Microsoft and AT&T, and a minority interest in Piatti Locali, a small chain of Italian restaurants in California.

Doesn’t that burn your butt? That Nancy Pelosi, mother of 5, didn’t get rich thanks to the government, but through being married 40 plus yers to her husband who is apparently a very good business man. You CANNOT say the same abut Michelle Bachmann.

married to a mafia thief is nothing to brag about.
