Global Warming Hoax Update

From Rasmussen:

…The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of American Adults shows that 69% say it’s at least somewhat likely that some scientists have falsified research data in order to support their own theories and beliefs, including 40% who say this is Very Likely. Twenty-two percent (22%) don’t think it’s likely some scientists have falsified global warming data, including just six percent (6%) say it’s Not At All Likely. Another 10% are undecided…

How much you want to bet that Obama and his Democrats don’t make much of an issue of global warming next year?  On the glad morn of Obama’s election, he told us that his victory was the signal for the oceans to recede…now, unless it is at an environmentalist fund raiser, I bet he doesn’t even mention it on the campaign trail.

The problem with the theory of global warming was that it was a lie from start to finish – a  scam designed to extract power and wealth from average folks and transfer it to the Ruling Class.  This is not the only such scam we have but it is the largest in dollar terms.  Never has so much been stolen from so many to benefit so few.

It will, unfortunately, die a slow, expensive death. So many people have their hands in the pie that getting rid of the pie will provoke desperate rear-guard actions.  But if we win big next year, we can at least start the process of ending this scam, mostly by transferring the funds to other, more worthy environmental efforts.

Nice logic. (R)asmussen asks: “In order to support their own theories and beliefs about global warming, how likely is it that some scientists have falsified research data?” and you assume people ONLY think “falsified to support GW” and NOT “falsified to deny GW.”

    Pathetic. But amusing.

having attended an all male high school, working in the steel industry, a stint in the USMC and 42 years in the construction industry, three sons, two grand sons does not lend to one being a miss manners type.

I do attempt to throttle back, though sometimes my humor and boys will be boys side shines through.
        No harm intended.
seems most of my friends are former military, ex cops and firemen???

Fortunately creepy assclown, there I’d NASA data to back up Rasmussen’s poll showing that the computer models for the UN were wrong. Computer models that helped them perpetuate the doom and gloom they constantly spewed.

The people who were polled were most likely aware of this since it was released a little over a week ago – see previous Global Warming thread.

Worse. Almost up there with pic of the codepinko fatty you posted awhile back. I am convening a special trial in Muich on October 1st. We will discuss this over a real mug of the best beer in the world.
I will go off the wagon for just a bit to have areal german beer again. 🙂

You cant really falsify the fact that the globe is warming, its just a matter of taking the average daily temperature in as many climates on earth as possible and then averaging those to get an average global temperature for the planet, which is about 59 degrees …. that is going up. Its not like its one scientist in a room with a lighter under a thermometer anyone can get the data and many people do. The question is why is the globe warming and it is almost definite we are causing it by the increased greenhouse gasses. I don’t know what obama has to do with that because I find politics annoying and boring but we should all try to use less energy non the less.

Ever heard of the urban island effect?

Besides the issue is not whether the climate is warming but whether it is anthropogenic.

” almost definite we are causing it by the increased greenhouse gasses”

Care to point us to any peer reviewed published academic study that supports your assertion or did you read that at skepiticalscience?

      a mere f**t in a cat 5 hurricane.

Just last year a group of Japanese scientists warned of a global COOLING problem in our near future. Something about the distance between the Earth and the Sun increasing….

But gee, wouldn’t that kind of imply that if the distance between the Earth and the Sun were to DEcrease—that is, if they were to get closer together—-there would be a WARMING effect?

Hmmmm. Closer/Warmer, Farther/Cooler. Could it be that only Japanese scientists take into account the presence of a giant ball of fire when looking at temperature fluctuations?

Ever been near a fireplace? I’ll be dipped—Closer/Warmer, Farther/Cooler. And there was a CONSENSUS that this was true.

Ever looked at how much of that “greenhouse gas” stuff is generated by trees and other growing things? So when the Earth was covered with vegetation, that vegetation was pumping vast amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. Oddly enough, this did nothing to head off any of the ice Ages. Even more oddly, after each Ice Age the Earth warmed up again, in spite of the sharply reduced amount of vegetation.

And so on. “ is almost definite we are causing it by the increased greenhouse gasses..” but in science, “almost” is meaningless. It is or it isn’t. And there is not a lick of proof that it is.

However, using less energy and finding alternative sources of energy IS a good idea. Finding the AGW thing to be a politically motivated hoax, just another concocted “crisis” to drive the sheeple into just another pen, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be prudent, and good stewards of the Earth.

Just a month ago, thomas was citing the record heat temperatures as just more evidence of global warming, overlooking the fact that it was July. In a few short months, there will likely be snow on the ground mainly because….wait for it……it will be December.

    • neocon1 August 4, 2011 / 8:24 am

this is so simple even a a cave man assKlown could understand it.

      US North west = T-Rex
      US North west = glaciers
      US North west = temperate

      weather happens.

I’m just getting ready to cut hay. Usually it is cut, baled and stacked by now. But we had such a long, cold spring that the grass simply did not grow. Grazing was put off by a month or more because the pastures simply did not have their usual spring growth. I had to lease grassland to a neighbor because his pastures were not recovering quickly enough to keep up with his rotation plan—-too cold.

I was gone for two weeks, and when I left at the end of May, it was still brown and wintery looking. When I returned in the middle of June it had just started to green up. The leaves on the trees still looked like early spring growth. We were a solid month behind, and have been way too cool all summer. We got snow several nights up till the middle of June.

Down in Colorado, some counties were getting blizzards in late May and early June.

Snowfall in most of the watersheds in Colorado and Wyoming were at anywhere from 200% to 400% of normal average. The only thing that kept us from truly massive flooding was the long cold spring, which spread snow melt out over a longer period of time.

I’m hoping owl bore will visit central illinois. Where ever he goes the temp just miraculously drops. Maybe we can organize a bus tour for him 🙂

No one is denying that co2 in the atmosphere is increasing, but how do you explain how the planet has been warmer than present many times when CO2 levels were low and a number of those were within historical times .

CO2 is a friendly gas, I am breathing some out right this second and I would die if I was unable to do that.

Here are some stats that may be of interest:

This current warming, (if it is actually happening at all) is nothing out of the ordinary, so why should we blame it on a miniscule increase of a friendly gas in our atmosphere.
The increase of concentration is only about 0.0213% since 1960.
You may be interested in some facts about this gas which you are refering to as pollution.
A scientist untainted by the AGW lobby would say that a concentration of about 1,000ppmv would be beneficial to life on earth, this being the concentration that Glass House growers prefer,*cWuzeO4qmDVbgA_/Greenhouses.CarbonDioxideInGreenhouses.pdf
Our exhaled breath is about 4500ppmv
Up to 5000ppmv is acceptable for work places (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists.).
Up to 3000ppmv for residences (Canadian exposure guideline for residential buildings)
Medical oxygen has between 10,000 ppmv and 20,000 ppmv in it.

    Click to access 10_carbondioxide_oxygen.pdf

    Click to access 10_carbondioxide_oxygen.pdf

Currently our atmosphere has about 390 ppmv of CO2 in it.
Furthermore, some scientists credit the extra CO2 in our atmosphere as the reason for our increased food production.

And to cap it all, there is no actual evidence that links CO2 with global warming. There are a few correlations except that CO2 lags temperature rise by some considerable number of years.
