Hoffa Expresses Democrat “New Tone”

From Real Clear Politics:

Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa had some profane, combative words for Republicans while warming up the crowd for President Obama in Detroit, Michigan on Monday.

“We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Jimmy Hoffa Jr. said to a heavily union crowd.

“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” Hoffa added.

The trouble is that I don’t think union rules allow fighting after 5 pm unless the party bosses start paying double time…and as fighting opens up the prospect of injury, the unions might have a huge problem with disability claims.  And just what is the Davis-Bacon “prevailing wage” for union goonery?

Message to Hoffa – there are vastly more of us than there are of you…and, if you really want a fight, our side is much better armed…I’m not at all worried about the outcome of a fight between unionized government bureaucrats and the regular folks of the TEA Party…a huge number of whom are former military, after all.

    thug like daddy.
Hope he gets the opposite goal line.

You might be right about there being more of “you” than there are of “them” however most of “us” know how to fight and the majority of “you” do not even with firearms to hand.

    • neocon1 September 5, 2011 / 11:21 pm

      Riiiiiiiiiiiight

What a hoot…most of US are combat vets you dumbass, the only thing you “fight” is with armed thug mobs and gangs against out numbered men with their families.
bring it on when ever you are ready and we will show you.

Mark, why are you choosing to selectively quote Hoffa? Fox news would be proud of your selective editing. For the record, the full quote that RealClear Politics (yeah, real clear alright) failed to report on, and which you too failed to represent accurately. You failed.

We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. We’re going to win that war.

President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. AndPresident Obama, we want one thing: jobs, jobs, jobs… That’s what we’re going to tell him. He’s gonna be … and when he sees what we’re doing here, he will be inspired. But he needs help. And you know what? Everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back, and we keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these son of a bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong.

      poopdiddly

      seems you forgot THIS Moron…….

“We’ve got to keep an eye on the battle that we face — a war on workers. And you see it everywhere.

It is the Tea Party,” he said. “And there’s only one way to beat and win that war — the one thing about working people is, we like a good fight.”

Hoffa called on workers to get involved in opposing Tea Party-aligned lawmakers next November.

“President Obama, this is your army, we are ready to march,” Hoffa said. “But everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back, and keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these sons of bitches out.”

Thanks for the clarification patriotdad1 – it’s even worse when you read the rest of his drivel. I know for one, I am ready for any battle some effeminate, hyper emotional liberal wants to have.

    • neocon1 September 6, 2011 / 8:27 am

      Cluster

his message was loud and clear.
      union thuggery—bust some heads.

      • neocon1 September 6, 2011 / 8:32 am

And US editor of the Daily Telegraph raises that point…and adds the issue of Vice President Biden’s comments today painting Republicans as “barbarians”:

But the statements today by Jimmy Hoffa Jr and Vice President Joe Biden demean the presidency and, tactically speaking, are stupid own goals.

    • Bodie September 6, 2011 / 10:46 am

He’s talking about beating you at the voting booth, and you start wailing about “new tone” and “thuggery” and “he’s so mean.”

There is finally a response to the post, which can stay, and the mindless insults are deleted. //Moderator

      • Cluster September 6, 2011 / 11:19 am

Good catch Bodie. So let me get this right, you’re saying that “let’s take these son of a bitches out” is now code for “let’s beat them at the ballot box”.

Where can I pick up one of these liberal dictionaries?

      • tiredoflibbs September 6, 2011 / 12:41 pm

Ahhh jeffy, but “Palin’s map” that indicated targeted districts for Democrats who were in danger of losing their seats AT THE BALLOT BOX, really were bull’s-eyes for violence against the candidates??

Have I got the lefty dumbed down talking point right?

        Try again, mindless drone.

Cluster, Bodie is just doing his job putting positive spin on anything a Democrat says, even though their words say otherwise.

      • Bodie September 6, 2011 / 1:04 pm

“Everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back, and we keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these son of a bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong.”

Did you notice that first sentence there? The one where the call to action is to vote? Are you having tiredoflibbs-style problems understanding it?

      • Cluster September 6, 2011 / 1:37 pm

        Bodie,

When he says he wants to “Give America back” what does he mean by that? Is that in your liberal dictionary? And how much of the $800 billion stimulus do you think Hoffa put in his pocket?

      • Bodie September 6, 2011 / 2:52 pm

Probably the same thing your ilk means when it keeps screaming, “I want my country back!”

I know you’re desperate to be outraged, cluster, but the simple fact of the matter is that Hoffa called for people to vote out Republicans. If that statement is too much for your delicate sensibilities, then perhaps you should leave politics alone.

PS: The “liberal dictionary” is called the dictionary. Do you conservatives have an alternate dictionary to go with your alternate reality?

      • neocon1 September 6, 2011 / 5:27 pm

        boobie

yeah it is called the truth and reality, something you donkturds have neither of.
Hoffa a gangster son, of a gangster union thief and thug who went to prison for crimes against his own members and was rubbed out in the backseat of one of his union goon cars my his mafia masters.

      • Cluster September 6, 2011 / 6:16 pm

I am hardly outraged bodie, rather amused, a little amazed by the hypocrisy, and having fun watching the left melt down.

      • tiredoflibbs September 6, 2011 / 6:18 pm

ahhh, jeffy, there is a difference between Tea Party candidates and the TEA PARTY.

He did not say we have to vote out the tea party candidates. He said we take “the sons of bitches out” – again, no mention of candidates or “voting”. “if we go back”? Where? He did not say “Go back to the ballot box”.

Specifics jeffy… specifics to clarify words. You can spin it any way you want. Hoffa left it out hanging there. Liberals can spin the Palin thing into directed violence by a symbol on a map, but for one of their own to utter the words “take the sons of bitches out”, which has been said about criminals and terrorists, is not questioned nor is any liberal outrage present.

BTW, I like the way you avoided the Palin question, but that is typical and predictable for you.

      • Bodie September 6, 2011 / 6:45 pm

OK, so maybe “outraged” was the wrong word, cluster. “Scared” would probably be a better one. But at least you’re backing away from your ignorance now, so that’s a plus.

Unfortunately, tired is still laboring against his severe reading comprehension problems:

“again, no mention of candidates or “voting””

Really, tired? No mention of voting? Not even when he says, “Everybody here’s got to vote,” which he does, and which the “take them out” phrase so very clearly references? I really do pity your reading tutor. I hope he or she is being well compensated for what is surely a thankless task.

      • tiredoflibbs September 6, 2011 / 7:30 pm

There’s your problem with reading comprehension again, jeffy.

I said, “He did not say we have to vote out the tea party candidates.” with my first statement saying “there is a difference between Tea Party candidates and the TEA PARTY.”

Nowhere does Hoffa mention CANDIDATES but speaks of taking out the TEA PARTY. But then again, YOU need to parse his words to make them say what you want.

        Again, specifics jeffy, specifics.

But then again, Palin was “targeting” liberal candidates for violence with her map – as the dumbed down liberal talking point goes.

        Thanks for playing, you lost.

      • Bodie September 6, 2011 / 9:59 pm

So by saying, “Everybody here’s got to vote,” he was not mentioning voting. Another stellar performance from the alleged grown man who doesn’t know what the words “everything” and “may” mean.

I have such pity for your poor, poor tutor, tired. What an unending cavalcade of failure you are.

      • tiredoflibbs September 7, 2011 / 5:58 am

uh, jeffy, when you conquer your reading INcomprehension, I’ll respond.

I will not respond to your ASSertions that make false claims against what I said.

Thanks for playing, you are still losing.

Still avoiding the Palin’s map comparison while ranting about Hoffa.

        Typical.

      • Bodie September 7, 2011 / 11:05 am

I’m quoting you directly, tired. Please ask your tutor to help you find a better excuse for the severe embarrassment you just inflicted on yourself.

This is one of your greatest hits in a long line of comical, horrendous failure. But the obvious stupidity of this one–Hoffa says, “Everybody’s got to vote,” you claim he never even mentions voting–might rocket it to the top of the list of your worst performances, even past the one where you didn’t know the definition of the word “everything” and the one where you didn’t know the definition of the word “may,” both of which were supremely humiliating for you.

      • tiredoflibbs September 7, 2011 / 12:31 pm

        “I’m quoting you directly, tired.”

Again, you are lying. What I actually said and what you claim I said are two different things.

So Hoffa mentions voting early on “Everybody here’s got to vote,” but he does not say for what or against whom. He gives scant mention of voting only once and then never again. For a theme of “getting out the vote”, he hardly uses it. For all we know, he is talking about the local dog catcher. Mentioning the TEA PARTY rather than candidates is another telling phrase. Then he says “take the sons of bitches out” instead of “voting the sons of bitches out of office” OR he should be talking about individual candidates instead of the whole TEA Party.

Jeffy, words have specific meanings and you can’t comprehend them. The difference between “Everybody here’s got to vote,” and “take the sons of bitches out” are about as close together as the north and south sides of the Grand Canyon. But in your little world, they mean the same.

Also, you still avoid the attacks on Palin’s map, talk radio and conservative columnists who spoke in no such words as Hoffa, but you and other drones whined and whined about civility. Now those talking points about civility are gone from liberal rheoric since it was one of their own that is using inciteful language.

Again, words have specific meanings. But in your mind, they don’t – they have meaning as to whatever you want them to mean.

Until you stop lying about what I said, you still lose. Keep repeating the dumbed down talking points, useful idiot drone.

      • Bodie September 7, 2011 / 4:47 pm

And now you’re arguing that quoting you directly is “lying about what you said.” And you’re declaring that your inability to follow a thread of thought for more than one sentence means Hoffa didn’t tell people to vote.

Stop. Digging. You’re going from bad to awful to utter self-destruction here. This is even worse than when you completely and utterly melted down and flew into hysteria because you failed to comprehend the meaning of the word “everything,” and that was astonishingly awful for you. Words do have meanings, tired; you would do well to learn what they are. Start with the words “everything,” “may,” “prove,” “fact,” and now “vote.” And please give your tutor bonus pay; I’m sure he or she has earned it in spades.

      • tiredoflibbs September 7, 2011 / 9:19 pm

“And now you’re arguing that quoting you directly is “lying about what you said.”” – This is quoting you directly.

Jeffy, again with the reading INcomprehension?

You did not quote me directly. You lied about what I said.

Sorry if that is too complicated for your little pinhead to comprehend.

“to utter self-destruction here…. completely and utterly melted down and flew into hysteria”

I know you live in your little land of make believe, but do stop with the delusions and lies, for your own sake.

We ask you for specifics and you give us lies, delusions and distorted generalities.

If anyone is melting down because he cannot face the truth, validate his own argument or provide proof of what you say is true, you have demonstrated this about yourself time and again.

        Pathetic.

      • Bodie September 13, 2011 / 1:36 am

“You did not quote me directly. You lied about what I said.”

Quoting you directly is not lying about what you said, tired, though I can understand why you’d want to distance yourself from your stupid, stupid statements.

I think this episode is officially your worst–worse than when you melted down horribly due to your inability to understand the word “everything,” worse than when you made yourself look utterly stupid by failing to understand the word “may.” And yet I’m quite confident that this episode will not stand as your worst for all that long; you’ll find a way to somehow humiliate yourself even more thoroughly. It’s pretty much the only thing for which you’ve demonstrated any aptitude.

When Rep. Gabrielle Gifford (along with a lot more people) was shot by Jared Lee Loughner, the liberal smear machine (you know, CNN, MSNBC, CBS) wasted no time in attacking Sarah Palin over here target map. Before the blood on the ground was cleanned up there was a large number of liberal hacks blaming Sarah Palin, Rush, Beck and other people on the right for causing the attack on Gifford.

After it came out that Loughner was a liberal nut job, it was almost funny how the shooting in AZ fell off the radar.

    anyway

So, Bodie, when a liberal thug in charge of a union know for acting like thugs calls to “Take the SOB’s out” how does that sit with you and your dear leaders call be more civil?
