Obama Wants the Rich To Pay Their Fair Share, But Makes No Demands on His Cabinet

Considering he appointed several TAX CHEATS this is nothing new!

36 Obama Aides Owe $833,000 in back taxes.

As we have seen time and again, they are not alone – Democrats need to look in the mirror when it comes to “paying their fair share”.

If you owe money to the IRS that doesn’t make you a tax cheat, in fact, I imagine that most tax cheats don’t owe money to the IRS. Nevertheless we can get rid of all this by just getting rid of the dang income tax anyhow. There wasn’t much of a problem when the top income tax rate was 7% for what would likely by a $3,000,000 or more income bracket in today’s money – hard to argue equal protection when the graduated rates were just 1% more for each rate increase. Now, however, what a disaster.

Tell me, which of our two top candidates are most likely to advance the effort to abolishing income taxes?

When will the 47% of Americans who pay NO federal income tax pay “THEIR FAIR SHARE” ?
when they do, get back to us.

A national sales tax would be great, spend a little pay a little, spend a lot pay a lot, ALL the same rate.

I owe back taxes, that’s not what determines a tax cheat; these people are not making good on their obligations; I’m paying down that amount and struggling to stay current while “These people working for Mr. Fair Share apparently haven’t paid any share, let alone their fair share.” get that? Haven’t paid ANY share.

Fair share?? How about the 47% of wage earners who pay 0 income taxes pay a little something first, then we can go back and consider getting more from everyone else. And in addition, this fair share argument is centered around raising the top rate by nearly 4%, which will accomplish nothing. IF we were serious about generating more revenue, we would be flattening the tax code and eliminating loopholes and igniting the economy.

BUT we all know that Obama is not serious. This is all for show folks.

If you’re collecting a federal paycheck, you should pay federal taxes. That’s the premise of a bill I introduced last week to require federal employees to pay their taxes or be fired.

The IRS reports that 100,000 federal civilian employees are seriously delinquent on their federal taxes. These aren’t just people who fell behind. These are people who have actively defied IRS letters and phone calls seeking payment. In 2009, the US government failed to collect $1 billion a year from federal employees alone.

While the number of delinquent federal employees has remained fairly constant since 2004, the amount owed has increased nearly 70%. The bill further prohibits the hiring of future employees who have failed to pay taxes. We’ve got to tackle this problem.

It’s pretty simple guys, if you

    A. Have out of control spending
    B. Need taxes to meet that spending and
    C. Allow a majority of people to vote who pays the taxes

    you get either

    D. Ignore the problem or
    E. Tax those who the majority have deemed should pay

I love sugar and I love the space program but the reason Newton is ‘overwhelmed’ by agriculture subsidies and promising moon bases in Florida is pure money pandering. He has never shown fiscal restraint and helped balance the budget via the peace dividend and a tech bubble. The tech bubble burst and we went into Iraq but a housing bubble hid the underlying problem for some time.

The GOP needs to talk point A to death. It has to tell everyone, you don’t seem to want to pay for the costs of the programs so maybe it’s time we cut a few. Working backward with Obamacare, GWB medicare part D, NCLB, … the more recent a program has been inserted the more likely it should be to go.

close 80% of all federal agencies, let the states do it.
close the ATF and return the FBI to their intent not arresting Quakers over milk.
National sales tax just like states do with sales tax ALL pay ALL pay same rate.
      balance the budget with cuts.

Rev. Al deep in the red

The Rev. Al Sharpton’s nonprofit paid him nearly $242,000 — even as it carried $1.6 million in debt, according to documents obtained by The Post.

In all, the controversial activist and his empire, including the National Action Network and two for-profit companies, were $5.3 million in the red, public records show.

Most of NAN’s money woes stemmed from more than $880,000 in unpaid federal payroll taxes, interest and penalties. It also paid more than $100,000 to settle two lawsuits, byproducts of the unpaid bills.

And it still owed $206,252 in loans to Sharpton’s for-profit Bo-Spanky Consulting Inc. and Sharpton Media LLC, the records show.
REV. AL SHARPTON High salary, higher debt.
REV. AL SHARPTON High salary, higher debt.

Sharpton drew a $241,732 salary and perks that included first-class or charter air travel, tax filings show. He owes the IRS $2.6 million in income tax, and nearly $900,000 in state tax.

The defunct Rev-Al Communications Inc. owes the state almost $176,000, and Bo-Spanky is $3,500
