What? You Expect obAMATEUR to Obey the Law? Are You Kidding???????

The WARN Act – a FEDERAL law requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to notify workers at least 60 days in advance of a mass layoff or plant closing, due to cuts in their programs and contracts.   Huge cuts are coming to the defense department on Jan. 2nd.  This would require contractors to notify their affected employees that they will not have a job come Jan. 2nd, 60 days before.

This will mean that due to obAMATEUR’s cuts and by federal law, these people will get their notices just before the election.

So again, obAMATEUR has no respect for the law when it gets in HIS way.  His way being the poor timing just before the election.  Hundreds of thousands are expected to be affected by the cuts.  BUT HEY, IT IS AN ELECTION YEAR!  His reelection is more important than those of hundreds of thousands of Americans.  I thought he represents all the people – only those that serve his interests and these don’t.

This attempt bot “pay” these companies’ costs is nothing more than a tax payer funded BRIBE to ignore the WARN Act and help HIM achieve his desire to remain pResident.

This is what happens when the opposition sets assuring the President only serves one term as their chief objective.

    • tiredoflibbs October 2, 2012 / 8:16 am

So you are saying that the opposition should aid and abed a pResident that cherry picks laws and parts of the Constitution he will obey, while issuing Exexcutive Orders and maneuvers around laws and parts of the Constitution he does not agree with?

So you are saying that it is the opposition’s fault that this is happening? The Senate led by Harry Reid has squashed every opposition budget that has come to him. ObAMATEUR’s budgets that have passed the oppositions’ House have be UNANIMOUSLY defeated in the Senate, if Reid let them to the floor in the first place. Reid and the Democrats are the obstructionists.

The opposition should be complicit in illegal and questionable behavior of the pResident when it come to this law breaking pResident. Got it.

Cav is playing the game of pretending that he does not know why the chief objective of the Right was and is to make Obama a one term president. Now, this could be because he is truly ignorant of the belief that the Obama agenda will severely damage the nation and its citizens, and that this goal is a noble one, a desire to protect and defend the United States that is based upon our Constitution.

But nah, I don’t think so. We’ve explained it often enough that even a lawyer ought to be able to understand it. Even a pretend lawyer who is a demon and editor of a fantasy “newspaper”.

No, Cav is really playing the game of Politics of Personal Destruction, in this case pretending that the goal of replacing Obama is somehow malignant.

But he goes a step further, and asserts that overt law-breaking by the government is inevitable when the party of the president has opposition.

He does not deny that these actions of Obama’s administration are illegal, he just defends them as a natural and expected outcome of being opposed for reelection.

In other words, he is putting into words the Dem positions of Anything Goes, of Our End Justifies Any Means, of No Holds Barred.

We see it daily in their actions, we see it here on the blog in the nonstop lies from the RRL minions and their attacks on their invented Right, but it is interesting to see it put into words, to see an actual admission of this philosophy.

      • Cavalor Epthith, Esquire, D.S.V.J October 2, 2012 / 11:04 am

I am playing no such game madam. I do think seeking to make Mr Obama a one term president is malignant in its strategy. The sitting President has done what could be done. The goal of sustainability of the US economy depends on Mr Obama winning in November and a Democratic Party controlled House and Senate in 2014. Otherwise, the United States could fall into retrograde before the 2016 presidential election. And this election is universally important to all nations of your world not only for the western hemisphere. I do not feel that Mr Romney has properly thought out a foreign policy and in the first months of his administration he could commit errors that may cost millions of Human Beings their lives.

Are you sure you’re a member of the Executive Suite?

      • Amazona October 2, 2012 / 12:24 pm

Was the Left’s determination to have Bush a one-term president “malignant”?

You really do plumb the depths of silly, Cav.

“The sitting President has done what could be done. ”

Oh, so that’s the new theme of the RRL—-he didn’t do much, but he did all that could be done. After all, if The One We Have All Been Waiting For couldn’t do it, it clearly COULDN’T be done.

The thing is, “what could be done” is entirely subjective, depending on the goals and agendas.

If you are looking at the goals of “fundamentally transforming” the country into a nation unrecognizable by its founders, then yes, he has done all that could be done given the opposition of Constitutional Conservatives and the restraints—about which he has openly complained—-of that Constitution.

If you are considering it progress to dramatically enlarge the size, scope and power of the federal government, again in spite of the restraints imposed by the Constitution, then yes, he has done all that could be done using unvetted and unapproved czars, Executive Orders, and a couple of years of complete control of Congress, and again over the opposition of Constitutional protectionists.

If you want to think of what SHOULD have been done as recovering from a recession, rebuilding our economy, slashing unemployment, shoring up our international profile, helping establish or maintain peace abroad, and protecting and defending the Constitution, then not so much.

        Actually, not at all.

So any claim that the president “has done what could be done” is by definition coming from the radical Left, which feels that he has accomplished all they could expect of him in four years.

(Of course they have to overlook the ongoing existence of Gitmo, ongoing rendition of terrorists, expansion of federal eavesdropping without warrants, and killing of terrorists by drone attacks, all things that were, to use Cav’s phrase, “malignant” under the last president but quite acceptable under this one.)

“The goal of sustainability of the US economy depends on Mr Obama winning in November and a Democratic Party controlled House and Senate in 2014. ”

Again, this bizarre opinion has to be based on an odd definition of “sustainability”, one with no relationship whatsoever to reality. The economy right now is not sustainable, and what Cav and his fellow travelers want is more of the same.

“…..this election is universally important to all nations of your world not only for the western hemisphere.”

Too funny—-from the belief that “universally important” really doesn’t apply to the universe to the simpering foolishness of “your world” this is nothing but more nonsense from the Executive Suite.

Heard the CongressCritters just got the largest earmark (another promise from Obama that has “failed”) to purchase another large prison for the Gitmo folks thereby bringing them onto American soil and thereby handing them Our rights. I have other options–humane in many respects that do not include handing them Rights that Americans have served, protected, and died for.

      • Amazona October 2, 2012 / 10:21 pm

db, in what bill was this earmark included? I think Conservatives would like to know who wrote the bill, who included this earmark, and who voted for it.

“”When a little boy is kidnapped, turned into a child soldier, forced to kill or be killed — that’s slavery,” Obama said in a speech at the Clinton Global Initiative. “It is barbaric, and it is evil, and it has no place in a civilized world. Now, as a nation, we’ve long rejected such cruelty.”

Now isn’t paying countries who engage in slavery kind of like condoning or even supporting slavery? Isn’t rewarding countries who practice what Obama himself called “slavery” with American dollars in conflict with the claim of “rejecting” this practice?

Speaking of layoffs, the medical device industry is contracting at a pretty rapid pace bracing themselves for the Obamacare tax, and anticipated slower business:

It’s astonishing how quickly one far left ideologue with the support of the media, and cheered on by brain dead sycophants, can destroy this country.

One of the members of the Executive Suite has just chimed in, obviously happy about recent events in PA. What’s hilarious about this, is that she, and most liberals don’t see the irony in this issue, and that is – liberals have no problem in slandering their base of voters, accusing them of being incompetent, lazy or just plain stupid, if it advances liberalism. Here’s what the law says, which is quite broad:

The law requires voters to produce a Pennsylvania driver’s license or another government-issued photo IphilD, such as a U.S. passport, military ID, or county/municipal employee ID. The state will also accept college ID or personal care home IDs, as long as they are current and include an expiration date.

And in effect here’s what liberals say:

“Our base is too unmotivated, too ignorant, or too incompetent to acquire one of the many valid ID’s required to perform their duties as a citizen.”

That shows you right there what liberals think of Americans, particularly their base of voters. Nice, isn’t it?

    • bozo October 2, 2012 / 6:37 pm

Interesting, because I read that the judge ruled the state was too unmotivated, too ignorant or too incompetent to issue the valid IDs in time. You don’t strike me as a big government supporter.

      Who knew?

But, I gotta admit it when I’m wrong. Republicans have been alleging voter fraud for years, and now there’s PROOF. Mea culpa.

      The Herminator…gotta love this guy!

Speaking at a jobs forum on campus, Cain said: “Every time I run into someone who came here from another country, they always share with me their story, and reassert the fact that this is the greatest country in the world.”

“It’s not!” what sounded like at least two students shouted in protest.

As the crowd drowned out the hecklers with “boos” and a “U-S-A” chant, Cain launched into a fiery defense of his country:

If this is not the greatest country in the world, why is it that our economy is 25% of the world GDP?

If it’s not the greatest country in the world, why do we have more freedoms and liberties than anybody else…?

If it’s not the greatest country in the world, how is it that this nation was able to become the power that it is militarily and economically in the short 236-year history, relative to the history of the rest of the great nations in the world?

If it’s not the greatest country in the world, how is it possible to have a black man in the White House…?

If this is not the greatest country in the world, then leave!
