Been getting a lot of Progressives Christiansplaining to me about how God’s command to welcome the stranger means I’m wrong about immigration. I’m not buying it – I will welcome the stranger to my front door…I’ll be less welcoming to a guy I find in my backyard uninvited. Any stranger who wishes to knock on my door in the daytime will find me all full of welcome…just as I believe that we, as a people, should graciously welcome any stranger who presents him or herself at a US Consulate, Embassy or Port of Entry. Meanwhile, strangers trying to sneak in should be greeted differently.

Schumer wants Trump to nominate Garland to heal the national divide – Instapundit noted that all such calls to unify involve the GOP giving the Democrats whatever it is they want. Outside the idiocy of Schumer’s suggestion, it illustrates just how whacked out the left is these days. You might not know it if you are wise enough to stay off Social Media, but the left is obsessive about Garland. Of course, 99 out of 100 of them probably couldn’t pick him out of a lineup – but that doesn’t stop them from feeling psychic pain over the fact that they didn’t get to replace Scalia with a liberal. They had been waiting for the happy situation to arise where one of the Court’s real Conservatives retired or died while a Democrat was President. McConnell took that away from them and they are incensed!

Meanwhile, in keeping with the Left’s sole purpose of getting everyone non-left to wear a MAGA hat by 2020, the left seems to want a fight over Barrett’s Catholicism. If Trump nominates her, he’ll have to report the Democrat reaction as an in-kind donation to his 2020 re-election effort. According to exit polls, 52% of Catholics went Trump in 2016: a fight like this would get Trump to 65% of the Catholic vote in 2020.

Pruitt is out at EPA – he was doing a bang up job reigning in that out of control agency, but his personal actions as Director ensured that as Progressives smelled blood in the water, there was no one around to defend him. It is unfair and yet inescapably true that a GOPer trying to reform anything in DC must not make stupid mistakes…Pruitt should be an object lesson for the future.

Don’t allow any leftist to lecture you on Christianity, ever. Shut those bastards down quickly. Anyone who supports “abortion on demand” has zero standing to speak on Christian values. Zero. Besides, Jesus never instructed anyone to accommodate refugees to the point of their own peril. Then ask them how many immigrants they have staying at their house.

Max Boot just called for the destruction of the Republican party to be rebuilt in the image of …… John McCain. The establishment republicans are missing milquetoast conservatives who speak of conservatism but never have the balls ti implement it. Thank you Trump.

Of all the repugnant things Lefties do, this is one of the most offensive, and like you, I’ve gotten to the point where I rarely even respond. It’s getting harder and harder to be a Christian and respond to accusations like this in a civil, Christian-like manner. My favorite response, when I choose to not just walk away, is, “I know Jesus Christ; Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I start each day as though Jesus Christ were riding on my shoulder, nudging me toward the right path. You don’t have the creds to even speak his name out loud.” That usually shuts them up.

Below is a recent statement from the DNC and talk about lost souls. These people are pathetic, but I did love the line that reads – “Democrats want to create good-paying jobs and build an economy that works for everyone” – Really? How come you never got around to doing it?

“With slow wage growth, rising health care premiums, and skyrocketing gas prices across the country, Donald Trump’s reckless policies are hurting millions of hardworking families. Trump and Republicans in Congress have been so determined to undermine workers that they held a Supreme Court seat hostage for nearly a year in order to nominate an aggressively anti-union justice, who became the deciding vote in last week’s disgraceful decision in the Janus case.

“This is all part of the Republican playbook. For decades, Republicans and their wealthy corporate allies have been chipping away at workers’ rights, weakening unions, and depressing wages – all while giving massive tax cuts to the top 1%. And Janus is their most dangerous attack yet.

“Trump and Republicans in Congress are trying to build a winner-take-all economy that enriches their wealthy friends and saddles working families with the bill. Democrats want to create good-paying jobs and build an economy that works for everyone. And we will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with workers and with our brothers and sisters in the labor movement as they fight for the wages, benefits, and livelihood they deserve.”

“With slow wage growth, rising health care premiums, and skyrocketing gas prices across the country,

Talk about projection. That actually describes most of Obama’s two terms more than it does Trump’s first 18 months.

We keep expecting conservatives to sacrifice their safety and privacy and peace of mind to serve, and then leave them unprotected when they are attacked and savaged, libeled and slandered, and the subjects of violent harassment and intimidation.

Pruitt did nothing wrong. Every attack on him was rebutted, but only in whispers.

The Left uses its cudgels of lies, mob violence, smearing and threats to take us down, and we meekly let them do it.

There will be public approval of Janus, if there is ever an actual presentation of the facts to that public. Hundreds of thousands of people had their hard-earned money confiscated to pay for things they did not support or believe in, and the Left is fighting for the ability to continue doing this. But we are going to do a typically horrible job of making the argument and presenting the facts.

The Left represents tyranny and the imposition of authority over the individual. Forcing people to support agendas they don’t agree with is tyranny. That is a simple argument. If Trump is tweeing to get his messages across, this is one he should tweet and repeat.

Gas prices go up in the summer. So do temperatures. The Left manages to spin both of these into pseudo-political events.

And now they are trying to take down Congressman Jim Jordan. Let’s not be “meekly” – let’s shove their crap down their throats … and violently.

      • Amazona July 6, 2018 / 10:26 pm

As long as we let them get away with it, they’ll keep doing it.

Nicole Wallace just equated Trump to Penn State’s sexual criminal Jerry Sandusky …. there are no boundaries with the left anymore ….. they have become so unhinged they will say and do anything to destroy Trump.

I am not sure if I have said this before but I have switched my response now to people who bash Trump. I tell them straight up to bash me and not Trump. I am the one who hired him and he is doing exactly what I hired him to do.

    • Amazona July 6, 2018 / 10:25 pm

“I am the one who hired him and he is doing exactly what I hired him to do.”

I like that. As a woman, my response is slightly different: “I never wanted to date him, I just wanted to hire him, and when he stops doing what he was hired to do I’ll vote to fire him.”

As I have said, the Left is not only unhinged but has become openly crotch-centric. They can’t seem to focus on anything that they can’t claim is related to the geography between the knee and the belt buckle.

Michael Reagan offers some election advice to Democrats:

    http://tinyurl.com/yclaow6a

But I’m a kinder and gentler Republican. I like to help the less fortunate when I can.

I’d like to offer the Democratic leadership a free TV or radio spot to help them.

It’s not perfect, and it hasn’t been cleared yet by the Russians. But maybe they can use it in their fall media campaign.

    Here goes:

“IF YOU WANT TO SEE TRUMP IMPEACHED, VOTE FOR US ON NOVEMBER 6.

“IF YOU WANT NANCY PELOSI IN CHARGE OF THE HOUSE AGAIN, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU WANT SOCIALISM FOR AMERICA LIKE THEY JUST VOTED FOR IN NEW YORK, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU WANT TO ELIMINATE BORDER PROTECTION, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU WANT A WEAK MILITARY, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR FEDERAL INCOME TAX CUT, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU WANT MORE ABORTIONS, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU WANT TO TURN THE USA INTO CALIFORNIA, VOTE FOR US.

“IF YOU DON’T LIKE AMERICA’S OIL AND GAS BOOM, VOTE FOR US.”

I’ll leave a dozen other easy examples for desperate Democrats to think up. It’ll be easy for them, now that they’ve dropped their masks and are showing us their true socialist faces.

We all know Democrats and Liberals are not the sharpest knives in the drawer so allow me just to state the obvious. WE DON’T LIKE YOU. We have no interest in being civil with you, we have no interest in compromising, and we have no interest in your ideas and “feelings”. We don’t care if you’re offended, and we don’t care what you think America should be. We will continue to mock you, upset you, challenge you, and physically confront you if needed. And that’s why we elected Trump.

    • Amazona July 7, 2018 / 10:52 am

He forgot “IF YOU THINK MS-13 IS GETTING A BUM RAP, VOTE FOR US”

or “IF YOU THINK SUBVERTING THE GOVERNMENT IS THE RIGHT WAY TO DEAL WITH LOSING AN ELECTION, VOTE FOR US”

or “IF YOU THINK TURNING KIDS OVER TO ADULTS WITHOUT CONFIRMING THOSE ARE THEIR REAL PARENTS, VOTE FOR US”

or “IF YOU DON’T THINK IT IS CHILD ABUSE TO DRAG HIM ACROSS A COUNTRY OR TWO, IN DISCOMFORT AND OFTEN DANGER, TO USE HIM AS A PAWN AT THE BORDER, VOTE FOR US”

      • Retired Spook July 7, 2018 / 11:18 am

When you get right down to it, the list is almost endless. And some of the most egregious transgressions of the Left are the ones they accuse Conservatives of committing.

So calling out Elizabeth Warren to prove her claims that she is in fact part Native American is now misogynistic and racist.

Claiming to be a minority to advance to ones societal position though is perfectly acceptable.

    • Amazona July 7, 2018 / 5:24 pm

Not to mention that her attempt to respond to Trump basically said she thinks we should just turn kids over to adults without bothering to make sure those adults are parents or even related. Such concern FOR THE CHILDREN !!!!!!

      • M. Noonan July 8, 2018 / 12:53 am

It is insane – but, that is our liberals, all over, isn’t it? I tried to talk some sense about this and the liberal just wouldn’t listen…he was fixated on “children being ripped from their parents”, and just would not consider that, hey, maybe these adults aren’t the actual parents? And, just maybe, we have a moral obligation to ensure they are before we allow them to wander off? And that goes equally for whether we let them in or deport them…

    • Amazona July 7, 2018 / 5:26 pm

“Claiming to be a minority to advance to ones societal position though is perfectly acceptable”

I think the rule is that you have to actually claim to be a minority. If you just wear clothing, or a hairstyle, or eat a food, that is associated with any minority that is Cultural Appropriation and a truly horrible thing.
