It is the Grifter’s World, We Just Live in It.

Does everyone realize that the Palestinian leadership is merely running a grift? Think about it:

The Palestinian leadership says it wants to “liberate” all of Palestine but they know darned well they’ll never have sufficient military power to carry out this task. So, why keep telling your people that this is what you want to do?

Because you’re a pack of con artists.

And the Palestinian leadership lives pretty well – and its not like their main bank accounts are in Palestine. By keeping up the drumbeat they justify their continued (and legally invalid) control over their own people and keep money rolling in from governments, NGOs and private individuals who buy the grift. That the average Palestinian suffers badly from this, and the Israelis suffer a slow attrition, doesn’t matter: the money keeps coming in…and that is all a grifter ever cares about.

I bring this up because it has become stunningly obvious to me over the past few years that the reason why really stupid things keep going on is because con artists are making money off the stupidity. And the stupidity can go on for quite a long time as long as someone has a vested, financial interest in it going. You ever see that show “American Greed”? It really is one of the few good things on TV these days…but I love it when they try to cast the Narrative that we should feel sorry for the suckers. “I lost my life savings of $750,000.00″…oh, boo hoo hoo! I really feeling nothing but contempt for most of the victims. Yeah, and some con artist came along and said he’d make you 20% per year on that money, which was more than enough, and you, you greedy bastard, went in on it because being a greedy bastard, you wanted more than you needed. Sure, the con artist lied to you…but you deserved to lose that money because you were a greedy bastard. Insensitive? Maybe – but even if it is: seriously, don’t be a sucker. But, man, do we have a lot of suckers these days. And it is the suckers who are ultimately responsible for the grift.

We know the anti-fracking movement is awash in foreign oil money: grift. Global warming provides a high living for a host of people and groups who push the theory: grift. Foreign governments and American companies are making bank off the illegal immigrants: grift. A whole cottage industry now exists of people making a living off pushing the Trump/Russia story: grift. On and on it goes like that – pick your problem, and you’ll eventually come around to the people who are making money off of it and who would lose a stream of income if the problem came to a solution. To be sure, mixed into this are traditional, political ambitions (you know, if the Russia grift works and Trump is forced out: Democrats will take the money as well as the political victory…but, mostly, they’ll take the money). But the reason we find it so hard to just say “we have decided to do X, everyone fall in line” is because once an issue is settled, you can’t make money off it any longer. Or, more specifically, you can’t make un-earned money off it. In other words, you have to put up or shut up…an unresolved issue, though, can be talked about forever and there are always people you can sucker into paying for you to talk.

I don’t quite know what to do about this. I mean, other than a round of hangings. But we do have the problem of people who have a vested interest in everything being a permanent, unresolved mess. How to get around them to a solution (which would turn off their money supply) is a riddle I don’t have an answer to at the moment.

Hanging’s too good for most of the grifters you’re talking about, although I am reminded of a centuries old saying, “kill ’em all, and let God sort it out.”

Seriously, is there any indication that the Ideological Left will ever quit trying to impose their will on everyone else? Is there any indication that the ideological Right will ever willingly submit? No to both IMHO. The term “irresistible force meets the unmovable object” comes to mind.

The term “irresistible force meets the unmovable object” comes to mind.

But the real problem is that the unmovable object just sits there like a lump, incoherent and essentially mute, providing nothing more than a blank cliff against which the Left constantly exerts pressure and tries to erode.

I can’t help but think that if the cliff had a voice, it would start to make a difference. That when it is hit with a wave of Leftist insanity it could, clearly and coherently, say “this is not only nuts, here are the reasons it is it nuts”.

Just being immovable is not enough, because even a mountain in the way of a river will end up with a canyon cut through it.

We can only hope that in 2019, Trump drops the hammer on these people – getting a staff in charge of Justice that will fire all the Obama hold-overs and Deep State cretins and simply start going after all political corruption. Sure, a lot of GOPers will go down, too…but, that’s good. We’ll find, I bet, that it is our squishes who are on the take. The Establishment thinks it is immune – that they can do as they please and there’s nothing we can do about it. They are convinced they will re-capture power in 2020 – and then punish us for our 2016 error. Well, Trump can stop all that dead in its tracks…be hard for the Democrats to organize a strong, 2020 effort when scores of their top people are under indictment. But, will Trump do it? We’ll see.

I agree—now that Trump has better control, I assume, over the DOJ it is time to start arresting people. I have been saying for a while now that what I would want to see is Trump having a press conference in which he says “as I speak, the following people are being arrested..” and then go down the list of every single person in government who communicated through Hillary’s illegal server, which they had to know was illegal, making them part of the crime and in violation of the security agreement they signed. And yes, that WOULD include Obama. If it includes some Republicans, well, too bad. I would then have him go on to name all those who were part of the FISA charade, who perjured themselves to get those warrants.

That would be a good start, and it would start a cascade of people begging to give information in exchange for plea deals.

I also think it is time to start costing those money people more money. One way would be to identify and arrest the instigators of riots. Have drones drop that invisible powder that shows up under black light, and also mark the roofs of all cars within a mile or so of a protest expected to attract the instigators. Then follow those cars which leave quickly as violence starts, and pick them off at airports, bus stations, and on the highways. Make Soros, et al, pay big bail money to get them sprung, and make sure the charges interfere with their ability to cross borders in the future. With the agenda of identifying the instigators we could easily put together a photo gallery that would tie them to various riots around the world, and we could shut them down, or at least make them expensive to hire and transport.

As for the amateur participants, ruin those expensive North Face jackets with skunk juice and find a way to electronically fry any cell phone within a small area, right at the heart of the riot. Riot all you want, guys, but pay the price. And BTW, arrest as many as possible, So long, law school.

Make the oaths of office binding, after passing a law requiring that any oath of office in place now must remain in place. Stop fretting about how this MIGHT be abused, blah blah blah, and just let it scare the pants off all those who have been defying the law and subverting the Constitution secure in the belief they are untouchable and in some cases have guaranteed lifetime appointments. Make them have some skin in the game.

Deny federal funding to colleges that teach anti-American rhetoric. They can still do it, under the 1st Amendment, we just won’t pay them to do it. Let the Moneybags alumni pay for it. Howls from the Left? Tough. It’s the United States of America, it’s our history, it’s our Constitution, and if they want to spread some other version of history let THEM pay for it.

Never forgive a student loan, unless a way can be created to give a break to people who get good degrees and use them intelligently. and to benefit society. Cap the amount that can be borrowed, and limit the ways student loans can be used. Not a penny for any “studies” program or degree, but allow them for trade schools.

Citizenship for illegals? Sure—just join the military and serve with honor. Otherwise, just shut up and go home.

Stop funding Planned Parenthood and NPR—again, let the Moneybags pay for their propaganda and death machinery. Take all that money and start training camps for parents to teach them how to BE parents, including things like how to roast a chicken and feed a family for ten bucks instead of dropping $40 at McDonald’s for crap.

Stop putting Libs on conservative shows, and concentrate instead on just giving the facts, without the annoying and distracting bickering. We all know they contribute nothing anyway, so why give them air time?

        That would be a start.
