Maddow has lived on Trump-Russia for two years. Not doing so well, now:
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow lost half-a-million viewers in just one week after special counsel Robert Mueller’s report indicated that he did not find enough evidence to support collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Maddow has been one of the most prominent voices on the collusion conspiracy, spending most of her programs over the past two years on allegations that President Donald Trump coordinated with the Russian government to win the 2016 presidential election…
We’ll see how it plays out – but I think a lot of people who aren’t committed Democrats were going along with this MSM Narrative simply because, until just now, their faith in the MSM remained mostly unshaken. But I wonder if this is the start of a complete break-down…where people in large numbers simply stop believing the MSM? This plus things like the Smollett case might make for a vastly different electorate in 2020 as opposed to 2016. Back then, almost everyone had their doubts about Trump…but come 2020, those doubts might be long gone, and that means Trump will get voted on based on how people think things are going.
RSM has more on this.
Meanwhile, Don Surber takes an early look at Trump’s 2020 strategy.
Excellent article about the history of America’s various two-party systems – but I think that while correct in saying we’re in a re-alignment phase, it doesn’t acknowledge just what one side wants: a complete revocation of everything that came before. Call it what you will – “the left” is just a bit of shorthand – the people compromising the real movers of the Democrat party despise the United States and the civilization it sprang from. They want it all gone and a completely new thing fashioned in its place. This is why I say that our current fight is for all the marbles. This isn’t FDR routing the remains of the Gilded Age GOP…this is a conflict between antithetical forces and one or the other will be eliminated.
The New York Times is upset that Poland is ok with admitting Christian immigrants but not so keen on non-Christians. My view: better that your immigrants have at least some familiarity with your national culture. Also my view: Christians are the most oppressed people in the world and should be first in line for all refugee claims in the West. Also my view: we should increase immigration from sub-Saharan Africa because that will inject some very devout Christians into the United States and will just really annoy the heck out of liberals.
I can’t get over the fact that she HAD half a million viewers
Probably more than half a million people believe the reticulans came down in their space whale and took Elvis to Venus to be their leader and prophet.
So the new narrative from Adam Schiff is …. “compromise”. Was Donald Trump compromised by Russian agents? Scary stuff folks and thankfully we have the Dudley Do Right of all investigators Mr. Adam Schiff protecting us from the nefarious deeds of Mr. Donald Trump. Rep. Schiff is the defender of truth and justice !!!
Question though – is Adam Schiff compromised? Shouldn’t we investigate him first?

I agree. Several years ago, I think toward the end of Obama’s second term, there was a shift in a poll about Americans’ expectations for the future. For the first time in the history of the poll more Americans believed that their children would not have as good a life as their parents. I think I said here at the time that that sounded like a trigger for a major realignment to me. The author kind of alludes to that toward the end of the article, but he doesn’t say what would constitute reacquiring the American Dream, which to me has always meant leaving the world (or at least this country) a better place than I found it — at least the tiny part over which I have a bit of control. And that, I think is the dilemma we’re faced with — the two sides disagree, not just on methods but on what the final result should look like. And with one side advocating liberty and the other side equality, I just don’t see us sitting down at a conference table and hashing it out.
Behold:
That POS should be looking in the mirror when he talks about “un-American.” I will say that many in his demented circle of friends and colleagues have got the denial thing down to an art form.
They long for the days of segregation:
SAVANNAH, Ga. | Race was front and center on Wednesday night during a meeting coordinated to garner support for just one black candidate in Savannah’s mayoral election.
With signs stating “Black press only” on the doors of the church where the meeting was held, white reporters were barred from entry, while black reporters for at least two television stations were permitted inside.
The Democrats really are racists. They brought us slavery, the KKK, affirmative action, antifa, etc.
The slaves were freed, now blacks have all the opportunities and more that any other race has, even special privileges…anyone who is white can’t say anything jokingly about blacks, or they will go to jail. They law is on the side of blacks, whether they believe it is or not, yet at the same time, many black people believe they are above the law…I don’t how many times police officers have asked a black man to put down a knife or a gun, they refuse, putting the police officers lives in jeopardy, and the police officers have no other option but to use deadly force against the non-compliant black person. If the black person is peddling drugs, a lot of times they use their vehicles as weapons, so what choice does law enforcement have but to use deadly force? For instance, if the black man is taking police on a high speed chase, and they are flying through neighborhoods, imagine what that would do to a child riding their bicycle in the street, and they would happen to run out from behind another vehicle into the speeding suspect? So after such a dangerous trek through urban areas, they have to use deadly force to put an end to this wreckless person. It happens almost everyday in every state in the United States. So, somehow they mist believe they are above the law to taunt law enforcement the way they do.
Then there’s antifa, who are always screaming profanities against white people. The majority of whom, are white themselves.
Democrats have all these negatives that they think are “positives”, and they are not up for debate. If there was an issue of compromise, it would be the right who would have to compromise, the left is not going to compromise, they want the destruction of the Constitution, Capitalism, Christianity, Family, and government of the people, by the people, and for the people. The Left wants centralized rule, with government having all power over the people. Code for dictatorship. Communism, everyone lives on the same rations. No one can believe in God. The elderly are offed, abortion is mandatory for every woman. Many gassed, tortured, and shot. That’s what the left wants. Many of whom think they will be immune, themselves to the tyranny, voting for a government that will do to them, the same as those whom they hate, and want to see banished from society.
That’s what the left wants.
Very few on the Left “want” the things you listed, Jeremiah, and the few that do can’t admit it or they’d never get elected. Actually I don’t think anyone “wants” those things, but a few high up on the food chain know that if their policies and ideas are implemented, “you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette.” If you ask your average liberal Democrat, they’ll tell you all they want is for the United States to be more like Sweden or Denmark, both of which are social democracies. If you ask that average Democrat what the difference is between a social democracy and Democratic Socialism, I doubt one in a hundred could tell you.
I’ve told this story here a number of times, but the significance has never been more important. Back in the late 90’s or early 2000’s one of the evening news shows, either 60 Minutes or 20/20, did a segment on European Social Democracies. The only part that stuck in my mind was an interview with a group of young people from Belgium. One young man in particular, probably in his late 20’s or early 30’s, was asked what part of having the government take over half his income appealed to him. He said all his healthcare needs were taken care of, he got as much paid leave as he needed for whatever he needed it for, and he had a decent job that didn’t require him to work very hard — what wasn’t to like about that? THAT, I think, is what most Liberals, particularly young Liberals WANT. They want a risk-free, middle class life where they don’t have to work very hard.
And all that may work for a relatively long period of time in a homogeneous population of 10 million (Sweden), 6 million (Denmark), or 11 million (Belgium). It has never worked in a country with tens or hundreds of millions. And unless a country has a large natural resource like Norway’s offshore oil supply, they really do eventually run out of other people’s money. And when the birthrate in these small social democracies falls well below replacement rate and they decide to add new workers via mass immigration of people, many of whom are unlikely to assimilate, bad things happen, not just politically but socially.
Spook is right, Jeremiah, but so are you.
You are right because you are talking about the leaders of the Left, the true ideologues. These are the people who want true Communism, who think the very old and the sick and the “useless” should just be eliminated and who promote abortion not just because of the excuses they give but also because it erodes humanity and morality. The leaders, those at the top, of the Left think incrementally and have a clear long-range vision. That is why they are so successful. They truly do have a Big Picture approach to success and control—because to them success means control—so they are moving figures on a massive playing board, knowing that the opposition will be forced to move and having a plan for what happens when the opposition makes a forced move.
Spook is right because the cattle in the middle don’t think about such things. Ask your average Dem voter why he or she voted for Hillary, for example, and I can pretty much guarantee you will not get an answer about how her policies will make the United States a better and stronger nation. Instead you will get something about how awful Trump is. There is no ideology there. There is no evaluation of the two opposing political systems. There is emotional attachment to issues, with no understanding that the issues cloak a serious (and toxic) political structure they are really enabling and supporting. There is hatred and/or distrust of an Invented Other, an imaginary Right created by the Left and used to scare and herd the sheeple into the voting booth to vote against it.
The average Dem is lazy and takes the easy way out. The people he has chosen to listen to have told him that certain ideas or positions are bad—they are “racist” or “hate speech” or “homophobic”. They always represent something mean-spirited if not downright evil. They don’t think, or analyze. If they did, they would question the logic that says belief in Constitutional government means hating people with darker skin. Once the assumption that “Republicans are all racist” is examined, even casually, a thinking person would see that linking the two doesn’t make sense. There is nothing, in history or reality or ideology, that links Constitutionalism and racism. It is an invented link, created because the ideology of Leftism is not only not very compelling, its reality and history are very ugly and brutal, and the only way to maintain support for it is to just demonize the other side so compellingly and so loudly there isn’t much room to stand back and analyze what is said.
Once they question why being a person with very little skin pigment who also loves this country and thinks it is the best place to live—a “white nationalist”—means being a racist, the answer would be that it is foolish and dishonest to link the two words to imply a meaning that is simply not there.
So we have a huge voting block that is enabling and supporting the Left, technically Leftists because of this, but who are not truly, ideologically, Leftists. It consists of people who are truly, at heart, good people, who truly love this country, who truly want to help people, who truly want to protect the helpless. But they are just lazy. They are sucked into the rhetoric, to the point where they confuse their good intentions and wishes with distrusting, sometimes even hating, that Invented Other so much they vote against it. I’m not excusing that willful blindness, but understand it. And a lot of it is due to the pack mentality of human beings—the people around them think this way so they do. It’s hard to break away from the pack, especially when it is a pack that has such venomous feelings toward all who are outside it.
Then at the bottom we have the Bottom Feeders, the Dependent Class that just wants everything handed to it and in return is happy to have everything decided for it. These are the people happily on the plantation, happy to be treated as livestock, fed and housed and entertained so the Left can harvest their votes.
We can’t win over the ideologues, the masters, the planners and string-pullers, or the Bottom Feeders. Those in the middle are for the most part good people who, when challenged and informed of facts, would not be in favor of communism or tyranny or religious bigotry or any of the other ugly things the true Left represents. It is easy, and understandable, to have little or no respect for them because we see their willful blindness as weakness—and I think it is. It is harder to stand back from the easy beliefs and examine the alternatives, hard to change. But still, these are not people willingly advocating for the inevitable outcomes of tyranny. They are just people who don’t see the incremental path to tyranny and realize they are paving it.
I think even some in the Dependent Class, and those like Spook’s example of the boy in Belgium, would not agree that all this ease and protectionism would be worth trading freedom for. Now they are not asked to, but at some point, in the inevitable arc of Leftist tyranny, they are very likely to be asked to pledge absolute loyalty to an identified tyrant, to let the State take over all their decisions such as how their children are brought up or taught, to turn in family or friends or neighbors to the State for insufficient loyalty to the State, to have enforced Thought and of course punishment for Thought Crimes, to be told that their religion or their reading or their music or their hobbies are not acceptable to the State, to be informed that the economics of the State demand that they live in smaller homes and eat less desirable food or that the movies they watch have to comply with the State’s agendas, and so on.
and eat less desirable food
Funny you should bring that up.
YCMTSU!!
OF COURSE poor people eat differently than richer people. Duh. They eat what they can afford, and when they have more money they eat different foods.
Something I thought was interesting: We have thought of French food, particularly French Provincial food, as sophisticated and glamorous, but in fact it is based on peasant food. The wealthy ate the better cuts of meat and fowl and left the scraps and trimmings to the peasants. So they would boil beef bones and feet to make a rich beef stock and mix it with the stock they made from chicken bones and feet. They would stir in the harsh outer skins and layers of onions that they had been cooked to soften them and top the soup with pieces of stale bread and grated cheese rinds, all tossed out by the elites. Now you pay a premium for French Onion Soup. The peasants ate the entrails of animals, which the elites did not, so now we have, for example, sweetbreads, which are the thymus glands of cows, or we have escargot, those slimy garden snails, or frog’s legs. I just think it is interesting to see the full circle of food, from scraps rescued from the trash bins or tossed to the poor making it onto meus in snooty restaurants and treated as if it is gold.
It just so happens that North America was settled primarily by white people, and it is a land of great natural resources, so the people here—-of any color—tend to eat better than those with harsher climates or growing conditions.. What about those super-white people in Scandinavia who eat so much fish? No greenhouse gases needed to catch fish. What about those pasty-white Russians living on beets, potatoes and vodka?
These poor Lefties are falling all over themselves to outdo each other.
Did you read about the scandal of the guys who wanted to take down that whole peer-review scam so they submitted a word salad paper full of gibberish linking some kind of social injustice to observations of dogs humping in dog parks—and it was published and well received with peer reviews.
Found it.
The Leadership Institute’s Campus Reform reportedly exposed a wannabe academic who published an article about “rape culture” at a dog park in Portland, Oregon, in a peer-reviewed feminist academic journal.
The article is titled “Human reactions to rape culture and queer performativity at urban dog parks in Portland, Oregon,” and is based on approximately 1,000 hours of observing dogs and their owners.
At one point the author, Helen Wilson, claims there was “one dog rape/humping incident every 60 minutes.”
To Wilson, dog parks are just the place to observe toxic masculinity and heterosexuality:
“Dog parks are microcosms where hegemonic masculinist norms governing queering behavior and compulsory heterosexuality can be observed in a cross-species environment.” Wilson wrote.
Wilson also calls dog parks “oppressive spaces that lock both humans and animals into hegemonic patterns of gender conformity,” adding, “oppressive patriarchal norms reach zenist in dog parks.”
As if her “highly-scientific” study about dog rape wasn’t enough, it gets even sketchier.
According to Campus Reform’s reporting, nobody can even verify if Wilson actually has a PhD.
In the article, she claims she has a PhD in Feminist Studies and is the lead researcher of Portland Ungendering Research (PUR) Initiative.
The only four American universities with PhD programs in Feminist Studies claimed she did not receive a PhD in their programs; the academic journal had no record of where her PhD was from, and Wilson herself stopped responding to Campus Reform’s emails after they inquired about her PhD.
The academic journal, Journal of Feminist Geography, could also not confirm if PUR Initiative existed.

There is so much to laugh about in this, but I especially loved the title Portland Ungendering Research. And there really ARE PhDs in Feminist Studies—how long does it take to learn that a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle, which pretty much sums up “feminist studies”.
“Dog parks are microcosms where hegemonic masculinist norms governing queering behavior and compulsory heterosexuality can be observed in a cross-species environment.” It reminded me of Matt Walsh’s grieving over the lack of diversity in mall Santas.
Spook, I appreciate your take on it, and I appreciate yours as well, Amazona.
Spook, I think Amazona took both of our opinions and melted them together, if you will. Lol I wish I had her mind and intellectual abilities, but unfortunately I was not born gifted in the intellectual department.
To begin with, I don’t doubt that many on the left just want a society where they can ride on the backs of others, they don’t like to work, when they would rather be out playing at the club getting drunk and having promiscuous sex , and laying on the couch stuffing their faces with potato chips and little debbie cakes, and chugging on a two liter jug of coke. I don’t doubt that for a second. Linden Johnson’s “Great Society” went very far in promoting that type of lifestyle. And it’s plain for everybody to see, all around.
But I think there’s more to it than that…..you know, Rush I think he was talking about the same thing yesterday, he’s talking about the millennials, and the same things we’re talking about now….he mentioned something about AOC when she was in college, and how there were 21 million students enrolled or graduated the same year she graduated, and he went on to explain how she complained for having to pay a $200 health insurance premium, and explained that she wanted use that money on things that she wanted to spend it on. Again back to Linden (did I spell his first name right?) Johnson’s “Great Society” which has created a very selfish and self-centered society in America. AOC herself, and those 21 million students just like her, they all have jobs within days or weeks after they get out of school. Here they are, they everything and more that they could ask for in life, but still they’re not satisfied, they have achieved the American dream and more, but still are not where they want to be. So they must be doing their jobs begrudgingly.
I know that those higher up in the leftist hierarchy want to have more power, and they are using millennials to achieve their ends. Even people much older than millennials are being used by the leftist elite to obtain their ends.
Rush kept wondering where the millennials get their, well he called them crazy ideas. To us crazy is a term used in such a way as to signify “unintentional lack of intelligence”. I don’t see it that way, though. These millennials are very intelligent people, you to have good grades to even be accepted into an institution of higher learning, so no they’re not dumb. But they are receiving the wrong philosophies as the basis for their intelligence. I’m sure Rush has heard about Marx, Lenin, and Stalin. Why is it so hard then to see that that is where the left is leading America’ youth? It’s not hard, because instead of seeding decency and truth in America’s schools they are seeding evil and destruction. When you cut off the supply line of truth and right, evil and lies take over, and it’s like mycelium, it creeps through, infects, and destroys. And what was strong and stable, now crumbles into a million pieces, and up out of the rot and decay springs a giant of poison and death.
Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao those were some bad shrooms, but they are fed our nation’s kids everyday.
The average democrat voter is sort of like a drug addict, seeking the easy ‘emotional high’ of unearned moral superiority where they can get lauded not for anything they have accomplished, but merely for voting the right way and parroting the right opinions without any deeper understanding of the subject matter. All the answers are Right There, laying in the open, no effort or thought necessary to arrive at them but merely a repetition of the appropriate catechisms. Like an addict, it’s really hard to convince someone hooked on that high of unearned moral superiority that they are actually doing themselves and those around them harm.
Very well said, both of you. Ryan, I love the phrase “emotional high of unearned moral superiority”
Like an addict, it’s really hard to convince someone hooked on that high of unearned moral superiority that they are actually doing themselves and those around them harm.
Last Sunday I was talking with a relatively new friend after church. He asked how I dealt with liberal friends, and I told him I didn’t have any liberal friends any more. His jaw dropped. First he asked how and then why. I told him that when I quit letting my liberal friends beat up on me verbally every chance they got — to air their “moral superiority if you will, they just quit interacting with me, and they kind of faded out of my life. As to the why, I told him other than the verbal abuse part, it seemed silly and counter-productive to have friends whose beliefs, taken to their logical and historical conclusion, would result in people like me having to be eliminated. I could see the proverbial light bulb light over his head, but the Christian part of him was obviously still skeptical. He asked how I could hate people who simply disagree with me. I told him I don’t hate them — I’ve actually forgiven them. I just don’t want to be around them. Life’s too short to allow toxic people cast a dark cloud over your life.
Ryan, I love the phrase “emotional high of unearned moral superiority”
Me too. It’s already found a place in my list of all-time favorite quotes.
Speaking of favorite quotes, while I was adding Ryan’s phrase to my Word file, I came across another quote that I had filed away a while back that is especially apropos in the era of Trump:
Trump has upset this paradigm, which is why people on both sides hate him.
I don’t like the idea of “opposed ideas and policies” if one side’s ideas and policies are about how best to govern the nation and solve its problems working within the confines of the Constitution and the other’s are about how to create a nation incompatible with the Constitution. If both have the same goals but just different ideas of how to achieve them, that is the ideal.
In the United States the Left has succeeded in convincing its sheeple that we are not a nation where both sides want much the same things—-fighting hunger and poverty, national security and so on—but just have different ideas of how to reach those goals. They have brainwashed their followers into thinking that If the Right doesn’t agree with the Left’s METHODS that means the Right doesn’t share the goals—that is, that the Right is fine with children going to bed hungry, with poverty, with racism, etc. It’s this invented dichotomy that is the source of most of the divisiveness in the country.
As a white man I am extremely offended by this:
‘They could have worn white face’: Jussie Smollett lawyer offers bizarre explanation as to why the Empire actor told police his Nigerian assailants were white – and points to old video of one of them wearing make-up to play the Joker as potential proof
What is a “dirty ass cracker” to do?
Fox’s new darling, Donna Brazile, also touted the whiteface meme. I’m still puzzled, though—is the new story they are trying out that some black friends of Jussie masqueraded as white to attack him for being black, confident that he wouldn’t recognize them if they had some white stuff on their faces, because……..?
Ummm …. shouldn’t we investigate the collusion between Democrats and the Media?
CNN has been hosting a series of town hall events for 2020 Democrats and it was New Jersey Senator Cory Booker’s turn Wednesday night. He received a very friendly welcome from CNN host Don Lemon, who gossiped with him about his personal life and was even caught congratulating him on a hot mic, as the network cut to commercial.
When do we hold Democrats and NeverTrumpers responsible for the current border chaos? Border patrol considers it a crisis when they have 6,000 in detention, they now have 14,000 immigrants detained who are starting to be released because of over crowding. What have Pelosi, Schumer and MSNBC been telling us? That it’s a manufactured crisis? They all need to get out of the way so we can properly govern this country.
I hate to say it, but I think this is all part of their plan. Think Cloward & Piven applied to immigration. Overwhelm and collapse the system.
A short message from Matthew Staver from Liberty Counsel…
“On Tuesday, the House Judiciary Committee will expedite the Equality Act as the radical Left mauevers to ram the Act through the House.
This is a treacherous bill that totally undermines our religious freedom. Dr. James Dobson warned that the Equality Act “is nothing but a thinly veiled attempt to finish off religious liberty in America once and for all, which ought to be plainly obvious based upon a cursory reading of the First Amendment.”
Liberty Counsel is calling on everyone who will stand on behalf of religious freedom to barrage the halls of Congress with a powerful message this weekend.“
Now we know the REAL reason AOC has a negative, by 13 points, approval rating. It’s that nasty old Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, risen from the dead to haunt her:
“It’s almost as though there is a directed + concerted far-right propaganda machine with a whole cable news channel, and a dark-money internet operation propped up by the Mercers et al dedicated to maligning me & stoking nat’l division, reported on by @JaneMayerNYer or something,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.
Poor little snowflake, she doesn’t understand that it’s not what anyone says ABOUT her (most media coverage is fawning and swooning) but what she herself says.
And, in the Giant Ego category, anything or anyone critical of her is “stoking NATIONAL division”. Oh my! Laughing at a strutting, privileged nincompoop posturing as a serious political figure who bravely struggled out of the ‘hood to fix the world is resulting in NATIONAL division! While her fawning fan club is pretty sure we are just afraid of her.
It’s like the Left suddenly opened up a door into a whole new universe of cluelessness.
And, in the Giant Ego category, anything or anyone critical of her is “stoking NATIONAL division”
I picked up on that too. The hubris of this poorly educated woman is off the charts. For her to think that any critique of her is “dividing the nation” is mind numbing. She is the “participation trophy” Congresswoman.
And Bill Maher is equally as stupid yet also commands a large progressive audience. Linked below is his most recent display of ignorance. Why couldn’t someone on his show inform him that those countries he listed are NOT socialist countries. Those countries also have something in common Bill may object to – strong borders, very little immigration, and largely white homogenous populations. I hate to be the bearer of bad news Bill, but a generous welfare system works better when capitalist economies support a small, controllable homogenous population.Translating that to a very ethnically diverse population of over 300 million with a porous border doesn’t play to well. There is one option though Bill. You can move to Sweden and just be another white guy living off the tax payers. You’ll have a blast but may not make the million dollar salary you have now. There are trade offs Bill …. sorry.

AOC has already suffered a lot of self-inflicted damage, and she hasn’t been in Congress 90 days. Give it another 6 – 12 months, and the AOC fatigue is going to be off the charts — in her own party.
Good read:
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/03/the_democrat_leninist_revolution_is_here.html
Has anyone else picked up on the progressive media talking point re: AG Barr? That he is a Trump “nominated and appointed” Attorney General? Hasn’t every President since the founding of the country nominated and appointed their Attorney General?
And Democrats are finally getting creeped out over Uncle Joe. They are always a little late to the party aren’t they?
It is really amazing to watch MSNBC anymore. They are still convinced that there is “collusion hiding in plain sight” and that Trump does not have the authority to “steal” money from the Treasury to build the wall, among other bizarre delusions. They live the lie, that’s for sure.
Can you imagine any significant percentage of Democrats and Democrat-leaning Independents who voted for Trump in 2016 saying, “Wow, I really love this new Democrat Party — guess I’ll switch back in 2020?” OTOH, I CAN see a significant shift the other way.
I think the Democrats are in the process committing political suicide so we just need to get out of their way. At some point, nearly everyone in this country will have to conclude that they are complete morons. From AOC’s Green Raw Deal to saying that any critique of her is polarizing to Bill Maher wanting to become Sweden (which could be construed as being racist), to simonee think this country is a democracy.
How do you cooperate with people who are completely untethered to reality?
They really are the strangest people, aren’t they? I saw something the other day about the “stolen” Supeme Court seat. Stole”? That sense of entitlement, and that perception that anything the “other side” achieves was somehow stolen from them are truly amazing.
Everything is so vague about this “collusion”. Did Trump call someone he already knew in Russia to ask if he knew of anything Hillary had been up to that Trump might like to know about? Did he call an official of the Russian government to ask the same thing? The thing is, there is not only no evidence that he did, or that anyone he knows did, it wouldn’t be a crime even if they had multiple such conversations on tape and Trump said “Yeah, I called an old boyfriend of Ivana’s we used to go skiing with and asked him to ask around” BECAUSE IT WOULDN’T MATTER.
And the Left knows this, which is why so many of them have had to expand the claims to Trump “being an agent of Russia, or selling out to Putin, or any of the other cockamamie crap they come up with.
So they freak out about something that wouldn’t have been illegal even if it happened and then they claim that pretty much everything Trump has done since then has been “obstruction of justice” even though that requires a predicate crime identified and under investigation beforehand. And the head of the FBI told Trump there was no investigation.
It was kind of fun for a while to watch them running around hysterically, howling and bumping into each other and competing for the most outrageous spin on the latest invention of the wildest theory, but quite honestly, it’s getting tiresome. The only saving grace is the belief that it is getting tiresome to a lot of people who otherwise might have been comfortable just voting Dem every two years without thinking much about it.
But wait … it’s getting better. This morning on MSNBC the Morning Joe crew are accusing the Saudi’s of hacking Bezos phone and exposing the affair he was having therefore ending his 30+ year marriage, AND it was done because Bezo’s paper the Washington Times was critical of the Saudi regime over the Kashoggi murder … which Trump has been critical of as well and so this is just another attack on the press by the Trump administration via the Saudi Administration. Did you follow that?
So now Trump colluded with Saudi Arabia to punish a newspaper that criticized the Saudi regime for the same thing Trump (and the rest of the world) also happened to criticize? Hmmm. That sure opens up a wide web of possible connections and collusions, nearly infinite scope for the tinfoil-hat crowd to invent dots and then connect them.
I wonder how the Saudis feel about being called pawns of the mighty and all-powerful Trump. They’ve got to love that. Maybe that could be part of the next election campaign—–Dems alienate former allies and risk source of petroleum products needed after destroying American oil and gas production.
Democrats just can’t control their fascist tendencies:
Assemblyman Sean Ryan

Update: I applaud the decision that has been made to remove Chick-fil-A from plans for the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Thank you to everyone who reached out to share their opinion.

And just an update: Democrats are still protecting a racist and baby killing Governor and a woman abusing Lt. Governor in Virginia. Don’t let them forget that.
And what, exactly, did the company Chick-fil-A DO to deserve this kind of discrimination? Why, it is run by a family that has, and lives by, deep Christian beliefs and teachings. And this cannot be tolerated.
There was a time when large swaths of Christian denominations were firmly in the camp of the Democrat Party. I wonder how they are reacting to all of this. Those traditional Baptists, etc. who have managed to live with the Left’s move toward total and irresponsible hedonism, gender fluidity (which translates, to put it crudely, to something once said about someone I know, with a small redaction: “He would **** a woodpile on the chance there might be a snake in it”) and baby-killing but now face the reality that their party is dedicated to persecuting people of faith might be getting a little uncomfortable with their political bedfellows.
We can only hope.
You are right and I hope all Christians take notice of the Democrats full frontal assault on Christianity and Judaism. From electing congress critters who are hostile to Christians and Jews to openly supporting the killing of babies. I never thought I would see such radicalization within our own government. Sad.
Can you imagine The Washington Post saying this about a Republican?
(emphasis – mine)
Joe Scarborough today defended Biden and said anyone calling Uncle Joe a misogynist and racist is using “way over the top rhetoric” and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
I know. His self awareness is abysmal.
And let’s not forget, alleged woman beater Justin Fairfax (D) is still the Lt. Governor of Virginia. If he were a Republican this would be in the media every day.
Lefty hysterics are still claiming Trump bragged about grabbing women’s genitals, though the fake furor over the “P” word kind of faded when thousands of screeching harpies started to use it constantly, to describe their costumes.
The Democrats are making Hitler proud:
1951 US Army training film
His [Hitler’s] primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

The Left has been explaining its tactics for decades, but its followers never catch on that they are pawns in a long game being run by professionals and most of the rest of us just don’t know what is going on. Stalin, Hitler, Cloward and Pivens, Alinsky, all have been quite open about what they want to accomplish and how they plan to do it, but people just don’t take it seriously.
Does everyone remember Whoopi defending Roman Polanski saying that what Roman did to that underage girl was “not rape rape”? Well …
Whoopi, Behar ‘Pissed Off’ by Joe Biden Accuser: ‘He’s a Toucher, That’s What He’s Like!’
I think we can officially call the #MeToo movement to be a complete crock of shit.

They would still be hanging out with Harvey if that whole thing hadn’t gotten so much publicity. They still worship Bill and I don’t see them protesting Epstein or the Lolita Express. They are such hypocrites.
It’s coming

Democrats are pushing buttons so fast to try to ensure that they are forever in power. Unfortunately for them when they push that button, collectively, they will fart, only it won’t be gas, but a mixture of gas and waste. For a very long duration of time. Introducing enormous amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere.
We like to joke about how stupid and ignorant AOC is, and she just keeps providing us with new material. The old adage, “better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt” applies to AOC more than any public figure in recent memory.
That led to a fun exchange between AOC and Liz Cheney:
Cheney tweeted:
We knew the Democrats let dead people vote,” Cheney tweeted. “According to [Ocasio-Cortez], they can run for President, too.
Sandy, miffed, snarled back:
Hey Rep. Cheney,
I see from your dead people comment that you get your news from Facebook memes, but the National Constitution Center + Newsweek are just two of many places where you can clarify your misunderstanding of the history of the 22nd Amendment: https://t.co/Je6mHFJ687 https://t.co/np1XtgLpm1
Liz wasn’t having any of that, and responded.
Cheney sent Ocasio-Cortez the famed “School House Rock” video on how a bill becomes a law.
Hey [Ocasio-Cortez], I know you’re busy so I thought this short video would be helpful to introduce you to the basics of the Constitution,” Cheney tweeted. “If you’re still trying to figure out how a bill becomes a law, they have a great video on that, too.
If Sandy is going to insist on holding up FDR and the Democrat Party of the 1930s as examples of when the party was greatest she is opening up the door to some really interesting discussions which will distress a lot of Dems who revere FDR and have bought into the lie that he saved the country during the Depression. I’m kind of looking forward to that, and hope someone jumps on it, as the timing (before the next election) is perfect.
I may have to re-read The Forgotten Man to get ready for it. I’ll bet Amity Shlaes is chomping at the bit, eager to take on Sandy and her crew on a bigger stage than the Complicit Agenda Media gave her when the book came out.
