There are wonders if Pelosi really had 218 votes for impeachment – my guess is that she does; but that would probably entail about a dozen House Democrats walking the plank; ie, almost ensuring their defeat for re-election next year.
This whole thing is a set up, of course. Seems that someone in the Deep State altered the whistleblower rules about a month back to allow hearsay to be reported – used to be you had to have some direct knowledge of the event. If I were Trump, I’d order that no rule changes are valid unless he, personally, signs off on them. That aside, this is a crafted plan…but, to do what? I mean, of course the Democrats would love it if Trump’s support collapses and the GOP committed suicide by voting to remove him. But, so far there has been no drop in Trump’s support (even Nate Silver is saying that Trump is as popular as Obama at this point in his Presidency – and this, keep in mind, with relentlessly negative coverage rather than the daily MSM tongue bath that Obama got). The GOP is raking in money off the impeachment issue (last I checked, $15 million in the 72 hours after Pelosi’s announcement). Mitt is being Mitt, of course, and a few other wets in the GOP are making their high-minded statements, but there doesn’t appear to be any real crack in the ranks…so, what does this accomplish? Not sure.
And that’s before we get to some really cold, hard facts. From what I’ve read, I guess that a very large portion of Democrat voters – perhaps a majority – believe that if the House impeaches, Trump is removed. They are unaware of the whole Senate trial aspect of it. But that is what has to keep Democrat leaders up at night – a trial in the Senate means a trial conducted under whatever rules McConnell decides upon (and the Senate could just vote to dismiss the charges without a trial, guys). Anything that Trump and McConnell would like to be revealed would be – sure, the Chief Justice presides and, in theory (no one really knows), could make rulings from the bench on what is admissible…but the Senate can override the Justice by simple majority vote. In short, an actual trial would be a nightmare for the Democrats and while operating under McConnell’s rules, they’ll have the task of talking 23 Republican Senators into removing Trump – and that’s if all the Democrats stay on board (Manchin would be a likely “no”, absent rock-solid evidence, I think). It’s an insurmountable obstacle – and only real criminal activity and Trump dropping to an average of 30% in the polls would make it possible.
It could be, of course, that they are just toying with this – willing to move if things go their way, but mostly just placating their base while hoping that something turns up to separate Trump from his supporters (that is what all of this has been about since Day One, by the way: the Democrats know that to win in 2020, they have to convince three or four million of Trump’s 2016 voters to abandon him…doesn’t matter how much they run up the score in CA and NY, if they can’t get back PA and MI, they’re toast…and they know it).
As for our side: don’t know about you guys, but I coldly furious about the whole thing. It is, now, only incidentally about Trump: this is a very large portion of people – including many in leadership – who are saying that I’m not allowed to participate in my own governance: that I’m not allowed to vote for someone disapproved of by the Ruling Class. I’ve come across some rather ardently anti-Trump people over the past three days who are now determined to vote Trump just on that principle: that we get to decide and what we decide is what will happen until we decide differently.
One thing is for sure, Democrats have ensured that voting is becoming less and less of an option. The voting process has worked great for the past 200 years, but not so good today. The Democrats control the voting process via brainwashing in school. Through brainwashing on TV. Therefore they have severely poisoned the body politic.
Democrats desperately seek control of the American people.
I don’t know if you’ve ever watched amoeba under a microscope, but that’s what Democrats remind me of.
I think we need to put some good old fashioned bleach on the body politic, and feed the tree of liberty. Her branches are parched and dying.
I get thoroughly creeped out when someone talks about “feeding the tree of liberty” as I know the reference. When people act eager for bloodshed and violence, I distance myself from them as fast as I can.
When people act eager for bloodshed and violence
Jefferson so distrusted a large central government that he actually thought the Tree of Liberty would have to be watered “with the blood of tyrants and patriots” every generation or two. Thank God he was wrong. But having served for 24 years, I understand the sentiment of those who are willing to put their lives on the line to preserve our republic. If that time should come, however, very few will actually step up and answer the call — probably around 10%. My feeling is that there are only two likely instances where Conservatives will take up arms: (1) Leftists like Antifa fire the first shot, in which case it will be a VERY short conflict; and (2) radical Leftists actually win control of the government and begin eliminating freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. If enough freedom-loving Americans exercise their right at the ballot box, we won’t have to worry about the second one.
I’m completely in favor of being ready to defend the nation. But I am not eager for a bloody confrontation, and some people seem to convey the impression that they are.
The fact that they use weasel language when talking about the impeachment vote makes me think they might not have it. I hear phrases like ‘in favor of impeachment proceedings’ rather than ‘in favor of impeaching’.
You got it, Ryan. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Good call on the weasel wording of being “in favor of impeachment proceedings.
The goal is not to have an impeachment hearing, because even the radicals know this will backfire on them. They would have to see several Dems voting against it, those who do vote for it will then be on the record for voting for it even as new evidence continues to come out to prove it was always a farce, and once the vote fails the tactic is no longer viable. Not to mention the fact that it would require them to present their “evidence” which would, under the glare of objective analysis, prove to be nothing more than wild-eyed wholly biased interpretations of what really happened.
But now, they can keep howling the word, stridently and at top volume, incessantly. It is the WORD that they need, not the actual act. As long as they can keep up the posturing, the frantic energy, the constant howling and the illusion that impeachment is really underway they can keep tainting the perceptions of the gullible.
Look at the pure theater of the Pelosi announcement. She said she had made the decision to open a formal inquiry. But she doesn’t have the authority to unilaterally do that. She knows that, and so does the rest of the House, but they are going along with it because it adds to the melodrama without committing anyone to anything.
The Democrats can impeach Trump over anything they want but the standard is “high crimes and misdemeanors” and the American people expect that standard to be met if not exceeded. Bill Clinton obstructed justice and lied to a grand jury and that was more than sufficient to have him disbarred from practicing law, but was not enough to remove him from office so so Democrats are sorely mistaken if they think this second hand and dishonest translation of a phone call exceeds that standard but that doesn’t keep them from trying. Just this morning, MSNBC is again pouring over the complaint and “reading between the lines” to find the crime and referring to the “urgent concern” that was initially raised. The problem is that the DNI chief said under oath that the complaint did not meet the standard of “urgent concern” and the actual transcript of the phone call is also now public … so I am a little surprised the media activists ignore these truths and press forward …. /sarc. I think the Democrats and their media loyalists have painted themselves into a corner and have to go full steam ahead or risk losing everything.
And Amazona I have to tell you that Micheal Bennet is a creep. There is something about him that makes my skin crawl.
Another thing I find really amusing is when you hear these Democrat POTUS candidates say they “want to bring people together” and all I envision is being brought together in the prison yard.
and all I envision is being brought together in the prison yard.
Or in re-education camps. The Left attempts to marginalize people who disagree with them at every opportunity, and they aren’t even in control. It’s not hard to imagine what they would do if they achieved total control.
I agree with you, especially about Michael Bennett. He creeps me out, too. He was a weak candidate but the spineless impotent Colorado GOP, which had a really good candidate, did literally NOTHING to help him in his campaign. Nothing. I sent him a thousand dollars when he announced, and by the time the election came around I literally could not even remember his name. We handed Bennett his return to the Senate.
This is what has the Democrats and the media apoplectic:
The boomerang from the Democratic Party’s failed attempt to connect Donald Trump to Russia’s 2016 election meddling is picking up speed, and its flight path crosses right through Moscow’s pesky neighbor, Ukraine. That is where there is growing evidence a foreign power was asked, and in some cases tried, to help Hillary Clinton.
Trump is really close to finding out just how dirty they are.
https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/441892-ukrainian-embassy-confirms-dnc-contractor-solicited-trump-dirt-in-2016?fbclid=IwAR2KpW2p_y6Y3-WRxPnoS0m7i0sl6E1sZTUHMQYKVFZunlFLPEQOS-Rn9aM
Here’s a good example of the bizarro political world we currently live in. Pajama Boy Chris Wallace with Fox News has come out and said that Trump is in deep trouble and should be impeached while bedrock liberal activist Geraldo Rivera calls out the Democrats and the deep state:
“I would love to wap him, but that is another story,” he said about the whistleblower. “Imagine this poor president, his whole tenure in office has been marked by snitches and rats and backstabbers — it’s amazing how he functions at all.”
And Geraldo is right .. the relentless attacks on this President, both from the inside and the outside, are unprecedented and yet his approval ratings remain high. I am hoping … oh what am I saying I KNOW the Democrats will continue to over reach on this issue and that will most likely lead to a landslide victory in 2020
Leftists’ heads explode if you just look at them cross-eyed. Can you imagine what they will do if Trump wins re-election in a landslide? Maybe their hate will consume them to the point of self-immolation.
I really do wonder what will happen with the media activists at CNN and MSNBC. Will those networks still employ the same people that have lied to their viewers for 4 years? That will be interesting to see.
Of course they will. Because their lying is just par for the course, perhaps a condition of employment. And no respectable journalist would want to be associated with those brands.
So Joy Reid on MSNBC just teased her next segment by saying “why Ukraine is the thing that will take Trump down”
And these people call themselves “journalists”. I don’t think they realize how their unhinged actions and rhetoric are driving more and more people to vote for Trump but God bless them.
OT but worth a look:
NASA admits that climate change occurs because of changes in Earth’s solar orbit, and NOT because of SUVs and fossil fuels
https://www.naturalnews.com/2019-08-30-nasa-admits-climate-change-not-caused-by-suvs-fossil-fuels
LOL
I saw that article too and nearly posted it the other day. Who would have thunk that the giant fireball in the sky effects our climate ??? Weird.
Back to Ukraine …. no matter how much Democrats want this to go away …. it won’t. Here is super leftist Bill Maher’s take
“When I read about this, I don’t think he was doing something terrible in Ukraine, but it’s just so – why can’t politicians just tell their f**king kids to get a job? Get a f**king job,” Maher said. “This kid was paid $600,000 because his name is Biden, by a gas company in Ukraine, in this super corrupt country. They just had a revolution to get rid of corruption. It just looks bad.”
It looks bad??? No, IT IS BAD. It’s called corruption and Hillary is the queen of government corruption followed closely by …. Joseph Biden. Another inconvenient truth for Democrats
Who would have thunk that the giant fireball in the sky effects our climate
Maybe someone who has ever had a fireplace, or built a campfire. Close = hot. Farther away = not as hot.
I think this is going to be a lot of fun over the next few weeks watching the media and Democrats spin this issue to be something much much more than it really is. Nancy Pelosi is calling this a “cover up” despite everything being released and no executive privilege. MSNBC is emphatically saying once again that Russia got Trump elected and now Trump is doing their bidding by withholding weapons to Ukraine … despite the inconvenient truth is that they didn’t. David Corn from the respected Mother Jones just said on MSNBC that Adam Schiff characterized the phone call very well hahahahahaha that was a good one.
And as a wrap up to the latest MSNBC segment, they are concerned that Americans are too stupid to understand the nuances and how damaging this is too our “democracy”. hahahaha that’s right, the people who don’t know that we are a republic are concerned that their audience is too stupid. YCMTSU
Sean Davis reported (read Bonchie’s BREAKING: Intel Community Secretly Changed the Whistle-Blower Rules to Allow the Trump-Ukraine Complaint Just Days Before It Was Filed) that the IC changed the rules for classifying disgruntled personnel as whistleblowers in a very significant way:
The brand new version of the whistleblower complaint form, which was not made public until after the transcript of Trump’s July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and the complaint addressed to Congress were made public, eliminates the first-hand knowledge requirement and allows employees to file whistleblower complaints even if they have zero direct knowledge of underlying evidence and only “heard about [wrongdoing] from others.”
The internal properties of the newly revised “Disclosure of Urgent Concern” form, which the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG) requires to be submitted under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA), show that the document was uploaded on September 24, 2019, at 4:25 p.m., just days before the anti-Trump complaint was declassified and released to the public. The markings on the document state that it was revised in August 2019, but no specific date of revision is disclosed…
…A previous version of the whistleblower complaint document, which the ICIG and DNI until recently provided to potential whistleblowers, declared that any complaint must contain only first-hand knowledge of alleged wrongdoing and that complaints that provide only hearsay, rumor, or gossip would be rejected.
“The [Intelligence Community Inspector General] cannot transmit information via the ICPWA based on an employee’s second-hand knowledge of wrongdoing,” the previous form stated under the bolded heading “FIRST-HAND INFORMATION REQUIRED.” “This includes information received from another person, such as when an employee informs you that he/she witnessed some type of wrongdoing.”
“If you think that wrongdoing took place, but can provide nothing more than second-hand or unsubstantiated assertions, [the Intelligence Community Inspector General] will not be able to process the complaint or information for submission as an ICWPA,” the form concluded.
What this does is essentially give anyone whistleblower immunity on the basis of rumor mongering.
And the plot just keeps getting thicker and thicker, to the point of becoming so sticky it looks like a lot of deeply planted Deep State bad actors are getting mired in it.
This is driving me to a place I never expected to be, which is wanting a Special Counsel appointed, to look into not just this particular example of embedded saboteurs of the presidency conspiring to topple Trump in a bloodless coup but how it relates to the others, showing the links among them.
In this case, for example, we can start with the effort to make the Ukrainian phone call an impeachable offense. That would be the center of an expanding web of related events—the now-evident complicity of the IG of the intelligence community in the effort to drag the Ukraine conversation into the mess, the request to investigate Crowdstrike, which would lead to the Dem involvement with Ukraine during the 2018 election cycle and the various offenses and illegalities associated with that, which would tie into the use of the Dem activities as the template for the frame-up of Trump accusing him of doing what they were doing, tying in with the abusive and arguably illegal use of federal agencies to spy on American citizens to try to find anything with which they could be accused or pressured, to, to use the beloved phrase of the Left, “INFLUENCE THE ELECTION !!” Which of course inevitably leads to the perjury charges that need to be leveled at everyone who signed off on the FISA Court applications.
The investigation of Hillary and Ukraine would lead to not just the use of Crowdstrike to fake an electronic hack of the DNC servers but inevitably to her use of an illegal server, a web which would, if followed up to its true and logical end, drag in dozens of government officials including Barack Obama. Any investigation of Hillary’s criminally casual approach to classified information would spread to Huma and Carlos Danger, and all of the Hillary co-conspirators who helped her destroy evidence.
It’s gonna take a really really big whiteboard and lots of colored markers for Glenn to outline this mess.
So you’re saying the Democrats are dirty? Noooo that’s hard to believe /sarc
Schiff had this complaint in August and sat on it and that fact alone tells you that this is a political hit. I also believe the whistle blower had help writing the complaint, and just like the steel dossier, they leaked it to the media then used media reporting to confirm their accusations. So, I also want to implicate and investigate the media to determine their culpability.
I think the RNC and Trump need to start dumping all the information they have learned via Durham’s investigation, proceed with the prosecution of McCabe, and do whatever they have to do to get the DNC/Crowdstrike server. In other words it’s time to play by their rules and bury them.
Derek Hunter at Townhall has a great article detailing all of this. Below is an excerpt from a 2017 Politico report Hunter referenced:
Politico reports, “Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.”
https://townhall.com/columnists/derekhunter/2019/09/29/if-the-case-for-trumps-impeachment-is-so-strong-why-are-liberals-lying-about-it-n2553861
The media will have an increasingly difficult time painting Biden as Trump’s chief political opponent if he is not the leading Dem POTUS candidate …. sooooo are the Dems handcuffing themselves by this and will they be forced to make Biden the candidate?
Also will Adam Schiff be accused of a cover up considering he had this “whistle blower” (deep state leaker) complaint in August?
My wife and I overslept this morning — too late to go to church. I turned on the TV, which was still tuned to FNC from watching Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro late last night, just as Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo was coming on, a show I had never seen before. She had Rudy Giuliani on for nearly half the show, and it was the first interview with him I’ve seen that didn’t involve the host interrupting him every other sentence. Rudy had a stack of sworn affidavits from a number of Ukranian officials that shed a whole new light on the entire mess. Rather than try to outline it from memory, anyone who didn’t see it needs to watch it if it comes on again later today.
Rudy had a stack of sworn affidavits from a number of Ukranian officials that shed a whole new light on the entire mess.
And that’s why the Democrats are “rushing to impeach”. There is a huge amount of Democrat dirt in Ukraine waiting to be exposed and I hope that is all exposed very soon.
There’s been this narrative put forth by Democrats and the media (sorry for the redundancy) that the Ukranian prosecutor general that Biden got fired was corrupt and that he was replaced by a new prosecutor general who was NOT corrupt. It looks very much like just the opposite is true. The fired prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was not just investigating Barisma Holdings, the gas and oil company who gave Hunter Biden a cushy $600,000 a year job on their board; he was also investigating the corruption that was the origin of the Russian collusion hoax. The new prosecutor stopped both investigations.
The stories about not just Ukraine but other nations which suddenly, magically, found the Rosemont group of companies, owned by Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz (stepson of John Kerry) and their friend, criminal Archer, the ideal companies with which to do billions of dollars of business—-right after visits from Biden or Kerry or both, and/or followed by special deals and treatments for those countries by the United States, are starting to come out.
Nothing to see here, folks, just keep moving—–the mantra of the Left, its talking heads, its government puppets and its crew of online trolls, rising in pitch and volume and intensity literally by the hour as the frantically try to sell and resell their increasingly transparent lies.
Last night I turned on the TV to check the weather and when it came on it was still tuned to Fox, and the Jeanine Pirro show with Rudy Giuliani. It was so irritating I was ready to throw something at the screen. How that woman manages to keep her show, when all she does is interrupt, loudly and shrilly, and refuse to allow anyone else to finish a sentence, is beyond me. What a shrew.
Now, as a woman I am not troubled by the accusation that a woman is a shrew, if she is smart and competent and effective. I don’t see Pirro as any of these. I admit, I have seen very little of her, but her antics last night turned me off for good.
I’ll see if I can find a clip of that Bartiromo show. Thanks for the tip.
We don’t watch Judge Jeanine very often, and, like you I was screaming at the TV — “shut the fu*k up and let Rudy talk.” That’s what Bartiromo did this morning.
So Rep. Jayapal is on MSNBC right now characterizing her dust up with ICE director Homan as a white man who is uncomfortable with a “women of color” having the gavel and power.
I want to see all of these peoples careers destroyed. They shown time and time again that they have no problem destroying other peoples lives, think: Brett Kavanaugh so it is incumbent upon us to turn the tables on them. Get in their face and put them down.
Ah, yes, the “poor me, victim of racism” whine when caught acting like a bully and a moron. Someone needs to have the spine to speak up when this comes out and say skin color does not indicate intelligence or integrity so quit hiding behind it.
Like Amazona, I don’t have a lot of faith that Republicans will ever get their act together enough to expose the rampant corruption on the part of Democrats, but it would be refreshing for once to see Democrats snatch defeat from the jaws of victory instead of the other way around.
That said, you do have to wonder if anyone on the Donkey side of the aisle is smart enough to realize what will come out in an impeachment trial that might not see the light of day otherwise regarding, not just gross abuse of power by Joe Biden, but massive election corruption by the Dems in general.
That is why I will be surprised if it actually comes to a formal hearing. I am sure Nancy knows this, but is stuck with trying to appease the pack while avoiding the cliff.
The Dems are having too much success with the WORD “impeachment” to risk losing it by exposing their nonsense to public scrutiny, cross examination and a vote. They learned their lesson from the Mueller debacle–for them—when they lost the word “collusion”. It had been so successful for them and then it got deflated and put away. I don’t think they are willing risk losing “impeachment” that way.
That’s why people like Hugh Hewitt are challenging them—impeach now, why wait? It’s turning into one of those “Oh, please, don’t throw me in that briar patch!” situations. Trump is just sitting there grinning, thinking “Bring it on, losers!” His surrogates are out there providing all this very damning information, which is putting more and more pressure on the Dems from three sides—-the pressure from the howling mob to IMPEACH!, the pressure on the saner elements from the knowledge that impeachment will expose them to dangers they have been trying to avoid, and the pressure from the increasing volume and quality of information that is very close to sending the message that this information is so significant it meant they COULDN’T impeach–failure to move forward will be a tacit acknowledgment that the information is accurate and that they have been lying.
Awww, poor babies! They thought they could drag out just enough to smear Trump some more, hoping the cumulative effect of all their s**t will leave behind enough stains and enough stink to harm him in 2020, but they opened the door to exposure of:
1.) Kerry/Biden abuse of power, using their positions and the Pay to Play approach of Hillary to set up cushy payoffs for their sons, in China and Ukraine just to name two. More details to come.
2. ) Involvement of Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz in a variety of schemes ranging from unethical to potentially illegal, in several countries, schemes put in place by the conniving of their powerful fathers and their abuse of the power granted to them by the United States. That is, corruption on an international scale, subject to the laws of several countries.
3.) Exposure of the participation of yet another highly placed government official, in this case the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, when he slipped in that change in the rules covering what kind of information can be used as the basis of a whistleblower complaint, possibly backdated the paperwork that goes back to some date in August though the official notice was not filed till right before the report was filed, and then stepped in as an objective analyst and declared the report not only credible but of an urgent nature.
4.) Possible exposure of classified information, depending on who helped the leaker put together his report.
5.) Possible exposure of whoever was claimed to have provided information to the leaker
6.) More exposure of the tactic of leaking information to the complicit media, then using what the media publish to “verify” a claim. We first saw this in the Russia-Collusion hoax.
7.) Exposure of corruption by Joe Biden, and possibly Barack Obama (Joe said to just “call Barack” if anyone had any questions about his authority to withhold American funding to pressure Ukraine into firing that prosecutor) when in fact, the prosecutor was actively looking into the disappearance of $1.8 billion and the possible involvement of Hunter Biden and possibly Joe Biden, and maybe even John Kerry, as it was a Biden/Kerry push to get billions sent to Ukraine in the first place, where at least some of it was funneled to Burisma, which had just hired Hunter Biden.
8.) Exposure of how the entire Left came out with the same shrill narrative that the Burisma investigation had ended appropriately with nothing found to implicate Hunter Biden, that Hunter was never even part of the probe and that the prosecutor was only fired because there was some international consensus that he was corrupt—exposure of the identical narrative flooding the media, the blogosphere and the comments from Congress showing coordination and complicity.
9.) Exposure of the role Crowdstrike played not only in the Great DNC Hack Hoax but evidently more than that, or there would not be such hysteria about looking into it.
And finally, the cherry on top of the sundae, exposure of the collusion among Hillary Clinton, her campaign, the DNC and the Ukrainian government in a coordinated effort to use the influence and assistance of a foreign nation to hijack an American presidential election—and then to use their own actions as the template of a frame-up of Donald Trump.
………………………..
This doesn’t even get to the investigations into the FISA fraud upon the court probe, which looks like it could result in indictments for felony perjury of several highly placed government officials and possibly other crimes, such as abuse of power, ,prosecution of Clinton for the various crimes associated with her illegal server, prosecution of those who were part of these crimes, investigation of the Clinton Foundation and Pay to Play schemes and payoffs and purging of subversives in high offices in government agencies.
If they don’t get a Dem into the White House in the next election, the entire structure of the Democrat Party and the incursion of the International Left is likely to be blown sky high. Some Dems are trying to keep their heads down and adopting a bunker mentality, just hoping to survive the explosion, but between the radicals pushing them from one side and the Right goading them from the other they may not be able to pull it off.
Great question from Stephanopoulos … and Schiff just keeps on lying:
STEPHANOPOULOS: You have been criticized by the president and others for comments you made in your opening statement at the hearing on Thursday ….. That was you making up dialogue, putting it in the president’s mouth. If the facts are as damning as you say, why make up dialog for dramatic effect, even if it’s a parody, as you say?
SCHIFF: Well, George, you’re right the call speaks for itself. And it is plenty damning, but let’s not pretend that this is really what the president is upset with me about. I can tell you exactly why the president is furious with me, and that is because when I learned that a whistle-blower had filed a complaint and urgent complaint that was being withheld from congress, and no one knew about this yet, I went public to demand that we get that complaint. I scheduled a hearing with the acting director to force the director to come in as I said at the time to explain to the American people why he was the first director to withhold a complaint from congress. That had the effect of forcing the White House to produce that complaint, which I then made public. That also had the effect of forcing them to release that call record. That’s what the president is furious with me about. The president believes that it is his god-given right to shake down foreign leaders for help in his re-election, and he should not be encumbered by the public finding out about it. That’s what has incensed the president. And I am willing to take the brunt of that. And I have to say once again how grateful I am to the courage of the whistle-blower. All I did was expose that complaint. The whistle-blower — had the whistle-blower not come forward, none of us would have known of the corrupt conduct the president of the United States was engaged in.
I know the question has been asked — repeatedly — if the whistleblower complaint was so urgent, why did Schiff hold on to it for 6 weeks? I almost look forward to Rudy questioning Schiff under oath as part of an impeachment trial.
The latest entry from the YCMTSU file:
Fox news reporter: “It appears as though Joe Biden may have pressured Ukraine into firing the Prosecutor General by threatening to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees.”
Yeah, it’s not like there’s a video of him bragging about it…..oh, wait.
“It appears as though” … wow. You don’t have to read between the lines on this one. Joe comes straight out and brags about doing it on video but I guess that qualifies as “appearing”
MAY HAVE….
As we were discussing the other day, even Fox is gradually moving Left.
Scott PeeLy with CBS IS A COMPLETELY LYING PIECE OF SHIT. On national tv, I just saw a clip of him lying about the Ukraine call, following Schiff’s talking points. And of course MSNBC backs him up. They are completely lying about the phrase, “I want you to do us a favor” tying it to Biden. That line had nothing to do with Biden …. here it is:
The President: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible.
That line pertains to the Crowdstrike server and corruption in their country and ours and the 2016 election and now EVERYONE IN THE MEDIA IS LYING ABOUT INCLUDING FOX.
This is war people. If they are willing to lie this openly about an obvious issue, then where do they stop? When does their sense of decency kick in?
It won’t and we had better prepare to battle. When people show you who they are …. believe them.
