The most important thing about the Virginia gun rally will be the result of the 2020 election: Democrats barely won control of VA and are acting like they won overwhelming victory and the victory is forever. But one thing which will get every non-leftist voter to come crawling out of the suburban and rural woodwork is a threat to gun rights…I guess its been a long while since Clinton’s assault weapons ban handed the House to the GOP in 1994. Democrats only watch MSNBC and CNN and so believe things like “polls show 90% of Americans want common-sense gun control”. I think if Trump wins VA in November, it’ll be a bit of a lesson for them…but the lesson only really works if the VA GOP gets its act together and takes back the State legislature.
The MSM was gravely disappointed – that no one was killed. For a week before the demonstration, the MSM was filled with dark hints of Nazis getting ready to run amok…and when it didn’t happen, the disappointment was palpable. And some might wonder why Antifa didn’t show up to start a fight? Those wondering this really don’t understand that Antifa is leftist goons who are paid to beat up unarmed Conservatives while ultra liberal police watch benevolently. Richmond doesn’t have ultra liberal police and the Conservatives there were heavily armed. Antifa will never go toe to toe with armed patriots. As for the claim that the event was a just a bunch of Neo-Nazis…well, only if blacks, gays and women are Nazis. Oh, and the patriots policed the area when they were done and so left it cleaner than when they arrived.
The Biden corruption story is rather massive – which explains why the Democrats want no part of it. But the Democrats are still claiming they want new witnesses at the impeachment trial, which simply will not happen without Trump getting to call witnesses of his own. I like how Trump’s people have vigorously noted that Joe doesn’t get a pass simply because he’s running for President – and that he and his kids are fair game in this. At this point, I am starting to think the point of the exercise is to harm Bernie and Warren and allow Biden a clear shot at IA and NH in the primaries.
James O’Keefe video finds that Bernie’s Commie supporters are, well, Commies. Its what I’ve been saying for a while: they are Junior League Leninists. Lenin’s ideals really determine leftwing thinking and have ever since his Bolsheviks triumphed in Russia. Can’t argue with success, right? There are no “Democratic Socialists” or whatever name they want to give themselves…they are all Leninists who will seize power by whatever means necessary…and then act like brutes when they get the power.

I watched a couple hours of the impeachment trial yesterday and came away thinking that Democrats still have no idea why Trump was elected. All we heard yesterday was how Trump abused the “process”, didn’t stick to “conventional norms”, and belittled diplomats. Yes. And that’s exactly why Trump was elected. The “processes” and “conventional norms” over the last couple of decades have not served this country very well so we elected a disrupter and he is doing exactly what we want him to be doing. Disrupt the normal processes, question the “conventional norms” and put America first and this is what has the Democrats so mad.
The impeachment trial is galvanizing and expanding the base of Trump voters so we have to thank the for that. Besides it is comical watching Democrats beg for more witnesses and evidence to support their “over whelming” case.
Democrats – never have so many people had so much self pride, and so little reason for it.
I couldn’t force myself to watch, but I did catch one Dem defender on one of the Fox shows last night. He was quite wound up, so passionate and emotional and emphatic he might have been compelling—if you didn’t listen to what he said. Which boiled down to if Donald Trump is so innocent why won’t he submit documents and witnesses to prove it?
Yeah, well, that isn’t how it works. It is not his job to prove he is innocent. It is the job of the Dems to prove he isn’t. This is not the first Dem to be indignant that Trump isn’t willing to get sucked into the tar pit in an effort to prove his innocence, and all they do is prove that they are either totally ignorant of our Constitution or just don’t give a damn.
It is a complete Schiff show. It’s mind numbing that the Dems claim to have “over whelming” evidence of guilt and that Trump is a “crime in progress” yet are unprepared to make their case to the Senate without additional witness’s and evidence. Only in the under developed minds of Democrats does this make sense.
If the Dems insist on witnesses, I think it would be a hoot to start off with Vindman and then call Atkinson. They think they are off the hook, that the process they started has now passed them by and no one noticed their roles in this. I think we would see a total freakout on the Dem side, calling these two people they don’t expect to ever be questioned.
The fact that this all started with an Army career officer lying about what he heard in a classified conversation between the president and another head of state and taking this lie to someone not cleared at that level is, I think, vitally important and no one seems to pay any attention to it. Start with setting Vindman up for a court martial and watch heads explode. Then get Ciaramella and Atkinson fired, to send the message that there are consequences and not even the House Dems can provide enough cover to protect people who pull this kind of thing.
Getting distracted by the Bidens is just bypassing something I think would resonate with a lot of Americans—the fact that highly placed people with top security clearances are violating their oaths to undermine a sitting president.
I agree Vindman should be first up, followed by the whistle blower so we clear all that up as you said, but if we are going down this road, Hunter Biden must be on the witness stand. He is at the center of this entire controversy and he and his Dad are the reasons why the Democrats are in such protection mode. The Biden’s are the tip of the spear of corruption and the biggest players in the Swamp and if any “draining” is done it starts with the Biden’s. Knock that domino down and a lot of them will fall and everyone will know that “draining the swamp” was not just empty rhetoric.
I just don’t see the Bidens at the center of this. We can know vast amounts of information about their corruption and it won’t matter because it won’t change the narrative that the only reason anyone looked at them is because Trump leveraged American aid to force Ukraine into investigating them. Call them if that is what it will take to make some Republicans happy, but also call someone from Ukraine to testify that the country knew they were crooked and had been looking into Biden shenanigans long before Trump was elected. THAT is what is crucial.
If we could have someone on the Right connect some dots, after Biden testimony, to say that all of this would have come out during the election or after it and Trump’s efforts to track down all American-related corruption in Ukraine ended up saving the taxpayers months of melodrama it might pay off. But I can guarantee that the new narrative would be that Biden would have won if not for Trump playing this dirty trick on him.
The Bidens do represent the elite control that lets people like them benefit from their status, and that is part of the swamp-draining that Trump has been promising. A question that could be asked would be “If President Trump was concerned about American involvement in Ukrainian corruption, especially corruption that also involved American funding, just how do you think he should have asked for it to be investigated? Would it have been OK if he had asked for an investigation into John Kerry and his stepson? That investigation would have inevitably included the Bidens, so what is the difference? ”
Which leads me to the next comment, which is why is Kerry getting a pass on all of this? He and Biden were a team, funneling American funding to countries which then gave their sons lucrative deals. Maybe Trump should Tweet: I guess when I asked for Ukrainian investigation into American involvement in Ukrainian corruption I should have mentioned John Kerry and Chris Heinz instead of the Bidens. That would have led to investigation of the Bidens, too, but maybe the Left wouldn’t have its hair on fire because Kerry isn’t running for president.”
That would make some heads explode.
Remember, protecting the Bidens means protecting the Kerrys and also protecting Obama.
This is the kind of thing I am talking about—showing that the Bidens were under examination if not actual investigation long before Trump’s phone call.
(Laura Ingraham) details how she managed to obtain a chain of emails through a FOIA request for information from the New York Times’ Ken Vogel. If you recall, Vogel was the man who wrote the famous Politico piece that broke the story about Ukraine allegedly helping the Democrats and Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.
Vogel had information that he was querying the State Department about in May 2019 about Ukrainian officials, the whistleblower and the White House. His email was forwarded to people at the State Department including George Kent and Elizabeth Zentos. This was shortly after Joe Biden had declared his run for the Democratic nomination. On May 1, 2019, Vogel contacted State Department official Kate Schilling about a story he was working on regarding an Obama administration meeting in January 2016 with Ukrainian prosecutors and mentioned the name of the CIA analyst believed to be the whistleblower whose complaint sparked impeachment proceedings that led to two articles of impeachment: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. [….]
In the email, Vogel wrote, “We are going to report that [State Department official] Elizabeth Zentos attended a meeting at the White House on 1/19/2016 with Ukrainian prosecutors and embassy officials as well as … [redacted] from the NSC … the subjects discussed included efforts within the United State government to support prosecutions, in Ukraine and the United Kingdom, of Burisma Holdings, … and concerns that Hunter Biden’s position with the company could complicate such efforts.”
The redacted name is that of the man reported as the whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella.
There has to be a reason the Dems are working so hard to convince people that the Bidens were cleared, that a minor look-see at Hunter proved he had done nothing wrong, and most of all that the ONLY reason to look at the Bidens was a deep seated fear on the part of Trump that Joe Biden posed a serious threat to him in the 2020 election.
It is absolutely essential to go back to the beginning and show the corruption within the Obama State Department and administration in general as they met with Ukrainian prosecutors to discuss the problems inherent in Hunter Biden’s role in Ukraine while his father was the American point man and largely responsible for funneling American funds to that country. Remember, that “Obama State Department” was led by John Kerry, whose stepson was also involved in Ukrainian corruption as well as profiting from other efforts of his stepfather and Joe Biden in other countries.
This vein of corruption is so deep, and so clearly leads right back to the Obama White House, that it must remain hidden. What is funny is that it is the irrational, unhinged determination of a bunch of truly stupid Dem politicians that is dragging it into public view and spurring interest in it.. It is the latching onto the comments by Trump and the determination to spin them into an impeachable offense that has created the inevitable closer look not just at the Bidens but at the political machine behind them.
Just looking at the Bidens is a distraction. We need to look at the structure of their corrupt activities, and we need to look at the structure of the impeachment process, far more than we need to look at what they actually DID. While that is important, in the context of fighting the perceptions created by the sham impeachment, and in the context of using the utter stupidity and corruption of those pushing it, what really matters is that the Bidens had been under some degree of investigation long before that phone call and that the investigation(s) abruptly halted, naturally calling for a deeper look.
And it is absolutely crucial to openly tie Ciaramella to the Bidens and to activist efforts to protect them. Just looking at the shenanigans of the Bidens will not accomplish what has to be accomplished, which is the foundation and structure of the attacks on Trump.
