What is to be said? We couldn’t stop the steal. And now the Ruling Class is working up the riot at the Capitol as some huge thing – which, as one wise man I know points out, is really an indication of how cowardly the Ruling Class is. A few yahoos breaking windows had them running for safety. These are not people who will stand up and fight for their power: the only thing standing between them and overthrow is the conviction of armed security that guarding them is better than walking away from them.
The fundamental problem we have is that tens of millions of American citizens are convinced that the election was stolen. For those on the other side of this issue, it doesn’t matter how sure you are that it wasn’t stolen. Millions believe otherwise. And here’s the thing: as they believe it was stolen, they are no longer inclined to work within a system which they believe maliciously excludes them. And people who believe they are excluded from the system will start to go outside the system for redress of grievances. The past four years, now capped off by the shrieks about the riot, are merely providing a fertile field for political radicalism to flourish.
We on our side don’t have much to say in favor of the Black Panther Party or BLM: but I think all of us now better understand what it feels like to be governed by an instrument which doesn’t appear to care about our concerns. Which, in fact, treats us with contempt. It isn’t a joyful feeling. In fact, it is downright infuriating. We are here. We are Americans. We have rights. We demand these rights be respected.
Right now, we don’t feel they are.
What the other side must do – this is Democrats, Never Trump and GOPe types – is offer concessions. At the moment, it wouldn’t take much. A commission to create secure voting nationwide would do wonders at the moment to calm things down. But what the other side is offering, at the moment, is efforts to remove Trump from office and threats about expelling Republicans from Congress. In other words, what the other side is doing is precisely what those on our side expect: show hatred and a desire to punish us for daring to disagree. Keep this up, and the radical right groups which have only been a figment of Ruling Class imagination will become real.
Have I mentioned that these tens of millions of people who feel excluded own millions of guns?
What will follow won’t be Antifa, it will be genuine rebels. Unless the disaffected can be brought to believe that they are still part of the system. And only their opponents can do that. We’ll see if there’s any wisdom over there.
Have I mentioned that these tens of millions of people who feel excluded own millions of guns?
That’s my line, and you’d better believe that the Left is working overtime to figure out a way to eliminate our guns without millions of them dying.
I think they will start by imposing prohibitive taxes on ammunition and guns.
That would be a mistake of gigantic proportions.
Colorado is offering counseling to help people deal with the trauma of seeing the unrest at the Capital yesterday. (I heard this on a radio news cast so I couldn’t tell if the speaker was trying to stifle a laugh. If I had been drinking something I would have choked on it. But then, as Colorado gets more and more blue, I guess it does get more and more emotionally fragile. This year a kid got expelled from school for posting that he and his mother had gone shooting at an upscale shooting range.)
Evidently it was not traumatic to see whole streets on fire, mobs rushing buildings and beating up on cops, or any of the Leftist behavior of the past year.
BTW, when I told a friend I had just bought a mask saying “This mask is as effective as my governor” he asked if it had a hole in the middle. I thought that was not only really funny, it was a great idea for a new mask.
I’m finally starting to wrap my head around the events of the last couple months, particularly the violence at the Capitol on January 6th. The most recent report I’ve seen says 83 people were arrested. Who those people end up being (ie., all Trump supporters or a mix of Trump supporters and Antifa or other Leftist groups) and how they are treated will tell us a lot. The vast majority of Leftist rioters from this past summer got off with a slap on the wrist in spite of the fact that property damage was in the billions and there were numerous deaths and injuries to both civilians and police. If this group, particularly if it consists of mostly Trump supporters, gets significantly harsher treatment it will drive further violence, in my opinion.
Numerous media talking heads (obviously reading from the same talking points) excused the summer-long violence by, among other things, citing MLK’s famous comment that “riots are the voice of the unheard.” Apparently that doesn’t apply to “right-wing” violence, even though there was no looting and burning.
The thing that leads me to believe that this was not ALL Trump supporters is that it accomplished something that no Trump supporter should have wanted. It stopped the debate and presenting of evidence into election fraud. Six states became two, and most of the congressmen and senators who were going to object to the certification of the electoral votes dropped out. Several Republican politicians noted that today’s protest may have ended what would have otherwise been a marathon of debates where Republicans could lay out evidence of voting irregularities, voter fraud, and unconstitutional activities observed during the election. It would not have flipped the election results, but it would have put on record exactly what happened during the election.
I got cursed out by one of our trolls for attempting to justify Wednesday’s violence. I guess saying that I was saddened but not surprised was seen as justification. It was not intended that way. And they seem to have forgotten that radical Leftist groups threatened to burn down the country if Trump were to be re-elected, and that Kamala Harris said such violence would be justified and should continue. So anyone who gets all apoplectic about Wednesday’s violence needs to just get a grip. The protests at the Capitol were “mostly peaceful,” to use a term that was repeated ad nauseam throughout the summer by the complicit agenda media, so the narrative has been established that protests with a certain level of violence are an acceptable form of political resistance. We may see a switching of the players on the field, depending on how much the new administration attempts to stifle civil liberties in general and, specifically, how much they attempt to persecute Trump supporters.
Several Republican politicians noted that today’s protest may have ended what would have otherwise been a marathon of debates where Republicans could lay out evidence of voting irregularities, voter fraud, and unconstitutional activities observed during the election.
Exactly. It doesn’t take much pondering to see the motive behind the violence and the agenda the violence was created to advance. It was all about silencing the voices that were trying to point out the crimes represented in this election. It was all theater, to distract from the very serious problem the Left was facing, with the added benefit of smearing Trump in the process.
This was only made possible by the active participation of the Agenda Media, dutifully performing their roles of chorus and provocateurs.
I’ve been wondering about this wild-eyed determination to cut off Trump’s last dozen days in office. Given the insanity level of Trump Hatred ginned up, fed and promoted by the Complicit Agenda Media, the drooling Leftist hyenas who were drawn to it the way carrion eaters are drawn to the stench of rotting meat and the blind fury of having to sit back and watch their carefully built edifices of deceit and power hacked away at, I thought a lot of it was just an explosion of vengeance, kind of like popping a giant pimple.
Some of it may be the realization that once he is gone they will have lost the focal point of their sad bitter vicious little lives and they need to get in a few last kicks and eye gouges.
All that covers the mob mentality we are seeing now, and the spewing from the pack leaders. But we need to remember, the pack leaders (Pelosi, Schumer and their sycophants) are not the leaders of the Left. The true masters of the Left are anonymous, behind the curtain pulling the strings of their mindless little marionettes. And they are not ruled by passion. They are cold-eyed observers of the events and circumstances that might slow their inexorable advance toward world domination, and they know that although they have crippled Trump by diminishing the perception of his moral authority through their successes on January 6 and silenced him through the muzzling of his comments by fellow travelers and accomplices Facebook and Twitter and assured that he will be leaving the official seat of power on January 20, he is still dangerous.
He still has a following of more than 70 million people, people who are enraged and energized by the power grab we/they have just witnessed. And not just energized and enraged but educated, both about the true nature of the Left and about what it will take to bring it down. And they know that they still face obstacles they will have to try to overcome to hold onto this power they have stolen.
70+ million people, totally pissed off and to a large extent heavily armed, can’t be ignored. We may not be actively attacking the Leftist power structure—-yet—-but we are out here. So the Left now has to try to advance with this power lurking behind them.
They also have to contend with the fact that the truth about Biden WILL come out, infuriating many Biden voters who will resent being manipulated into voting for him by the combination of the media lies about Trump and the media covering up of ugly truths about Biden We don’t know how many of these Dem voters will react by turning against the liars who callously used their gullibility to rig an election—but the Left doesn’t know, either. The Left DOES know the danger posed by a suddenly liberated Trump using his personal power and the support of about half of the voting American public to mount an information campaign to not just counter the Agenda Media but to bring it down.
They also know that if Trump does appoint one or more special prosecutors to investigate Biden corruption and/or election fraud, shutting this down will weaken an already tottering Biden presidency. This might be the biggest reason for the sudden frantic push to end his presidency 12 days before he would be leaving office anyway. They are desperate to shut down anything he might do to further weaken a fragile Biden term.
The problems I see facing the Left in the next two years:
A weak, fragile and inept figurehead president in Joe Biden. Getting him out of office to put in Harris will be an admission that he was protected by the media, which covered up his manifest weaknesses, and this will not generate a lot of confidence in a Harris term. It would also be a tacit admission that he was never the true candidate but was a stalking horse for a remarkably unlikable unpopular candidate with a carefully covered-up radical political agenda, in a bait-and-switch election carefully designed to get the most radical candidate possible seated in the White House. People don’t like to be tricked.
The “people don’t like to be tricked” problem will also rise as people learn that the media hid very important information about the Biden Crime Family as well as its moral defects, just to trick them into voting for him. This will happen, no matter who is in charge of getting that information out there.
Intense pressure put on Dem legislators seen as less under the thumb of Pelosi and Schumer, who may not want to go down in history as contributors the destruction of the United States and its “fundamental transformation” into just another Leftist outpost.
Resistance. Every effort by the Left to push through its radical policies, probably very quickly to take advantage of the afterglow of the successes of the last month, will be met by obdurate resistance, hopefully slowing its progress.
Reality. The erosion of the economic success under the Trump administration, as Leftist regulations and restrictions are imposed, will affect the same people who helped put the Left in power, and I can easily see some buyer’s remorse developing. That, combined with higher taxes and vast sums going to pay for illegal alien benefits will not develop more support for the Dems.
And that leads me to the biggest hurdle the Left faces in maintaining the little illusive momentum it gained on January 6—-the core lack of support for Dems. Because we all know that most votes for Dems in the last four years have really been votes AGAINST Trump. Take away Trump and they take away a huge amount of the motivation to support them, leaving them with the problem of having to (1) fall back on convincing people of the superiority of their policies, hard to do when the policies reflect an always-failed political system, and (2) having to reinvent a new bogeyman, having to demonize another Republican to replace Trump as totally scary, evil and an existential threat to the world.
The Left is going to be dealing with political entropy, as the illusion of vast support for Democrat policies fades away in the harsh light of what those policies, when enacted, will do to the American public and the bogus enthusiasm, such as it was, during the election, disintegrates without a focal point to keep it stirred up.
Lack of depth on the Dem bench. The party consists of some withered old fossils reduced to yammering ridiculous hate-driven spittle-flecked tirades against people and young anti-American radicals who generate very little enthusiasm outside their small radical circles. On the other hand, the Republicans have an embarrassment of riches, with young turks filling the ranks with intelligence, drive, and most of all the willingness to fight for what they believe in. And the Right has Ted Cruz, who has become the wise patriarch of the party, showing a powerful combination of intellect, knowledge and strength.
The history of the incumbent party losing Congressional seats in midterm elections, This specter has to haunt the Left, as it is now combined with a ferocious determination on the part of the Right to take back Congress and the inherent political weakness of candidates having to justify blatantly anti-American and anti-Constitutional votes.
No, for all the chest-pounding and frantic efforts to stir up a sense of total victory among its minions and sheeple. the Left still has a rocky road ahead. And there are tens of millions of pissed-off and determined people eager to keep piling up those rocks and digging pitfalls along the way.
Not exactly about the election, except for the peripheral topic of Big Brother watching you, a Leftist dream that is being realized as we speak.
I know this has been discussed, but in light of the recent threats by the Left to hunt down and punish Trump supporters it may be seen in a new and more sinister light.
That is, surveillance of what is said in the supposed privacy of our own homes. The other day my auto service manager told me about a conversation between him and his wife being reflected in a spate of ads on their computers the next day. They had never thought that there was surveillance of their private conversations.
Then yesterday, when the people in the office of my tractor store asked me what I thought of what had been going on, and the conversation drew in people from all the other departments including service and it turned out that they had all had the same reactions and drew the same conclusions we talk about here, I warned that it might not be safe to talk too much about things the Left has promised to punish. When I brought up the comment by my auto service manager, two of the people in the office said they had had the same experience, and though they use Alexa they turn it off when they don’t want to be spied on.
This leads me to a couple of questions, the biggest of which is, if something like Alexa is “turned off” is it really turned off? What about computers? Phones? Are we already in Big Brother 2.0 ? We are already essentially microchipped. I just bought a new iPhone because I plan to buy a new car and it is equipped with Apple Play so I thought when my old Samsung died I might as well start getting everything coordinated. First, I loathe iPhones and already regret buying this POS. (I have a room at my ranch with a lineup of big iMacs from my company, after we got rid of them in favor of PCs, as well as my old Mac Book Pro. ) Second, if I don’t agree to being tracked it won’t let me set up the phone. So I wonder, if I am driving a car already equipped with Apple Play as an integral part of the car am I setting myself up to not only having my every move tracked but everything said in the car? Or in the hearing radius of the phone?
I really miss the days when this kind of concern fell into the tinfoil hat category and not real life.
This leads me to a couple of questions, the biggest of which is, if something like Alexa is “turned off” is it really turned off? What about computers? Phones?
My daughter asked if we would like an Alexa-type device for Christmas. I didn’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, so I just told her I didn’t think we would use it. I got a new computer a year ago, but purposely kept my old HP monitor that has neither a camera or a microphone. And I still have an old LG flip phone.
But you make a good point. Organized resistance is going to be heavily monitored, and the technology is advancing exponentially.
I guess I am really weird in a lot of respects but I will never let any of those IoT (Internet of Things) devices anywhere near my property. I Faraday cage a lot of my electronics but still run things like security through closed circuit. I see the major players have already started to close down all avenues from those they oppose and it will only get worse. Waiting a couple of days to see how everything starts to shake out but doesn’t look good.
Between all of the big tech banning folks and applications they do not agree with it is going to be a climb to get real news back again but I have methods to ferret out the facts from Biden propaganda.
Oh, no, I didn’t mean that–I meant “Sure 85 million people came out to vote for Basement Joe & the Hoe” no doubt.
I am sure you are all tired of me going on and on about the brilliance of Leftist propaganda and its understanding and use of psychological manipulation to gull people into supporting the Left. I have often said that the Left offers a short cut to the Higher Moral Ground, a process by which merely making a symbolic gesture conveys moral superiority.
This is an example of this process: the internal quotation here is bolded, to set it apart from the commentary in the article
Humans are social creatures, evolved psychologically to incentivize conformity to the group for survival purposes. Consequently, we award conformity for altruistic (non-selfish) purposes with social praise.
The social engineers understand this behavior-reward social dynamic and use it to manipulate their targets (you and me) into submission.
Consider this excerpt from a recent Vox piece by Shai Davidai, a supposedly impressive “assistant professor in the management division of Columbia Business School with expertise in the psychology of judgment and decision-making”:
“This is a key lesson for Biden and for governors who seek to enforce conformity to help protect people from a deadly virus. They should emphasize that sometimes conformity takes courage. This point should be made loud and clear: In the battle against Covid-19, the courageous and commendable thing to do is to put other people first… When adhering to simple safety measures can save tens of thousands of American lives, wearing a mask is not an act of blind obedience, it is an act of patriotism.”
Instead of explaining the purported benefits of wearing a mask in measured terms to adults who will ultimately make the decision to wear one or not, the social engineers instead reflexively turn to their go-to strategy for achieving all of their goals: manipulation, appeals to empathy, and, somehow, even calls to patriotic heroism.
expertise in the psychology of judgment and decision-making”: Orwell must be polishing his Prophet award in the afterlife.
The social engineers understand this behavior-reward social dynamic and use it to manipulate their targets (you and me) into submission. Yes, the short cut to the Higher Moral Ground.
This is bad enough, one might think—until we get to Stage 2 of this manipulation of the minds and emotions of the weak. That is, the corollary that those who have not signaled the approved virtues can, and should, be punished.
Instead of linking within the text I am posting the title of the article referenced here, because I think it is an important concept to understand and might lead more people to read it:
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2021-01-07/erase-face-how-dehumanize-entire-population
After my wife and I worked out at the Y this afternoon, we stopped at Tractor Supply to pick up some bird seed. I was wearing one of my new protest masks that says, “It’s not about safety, it’s about compliance.” The clerk said, “I love your mask. I wish I could wear something like that, but I’d lose my job. In fact I guess I should shup of before I get fired.” I didn’t know how to respond. Not a comment I expected in a farm supply store in rural Indiana.
Actually, it is the kind of comment I expect, and get, in rural America. You know, where people think for themselves and recognize bullying and tyranny when we see it.
Jason Whitlock does an excellent job of putting the Capitol riot in perspective.
Rampaging anti-America flag-burning looters vandalizing federal buildings and statues and trying to break into and destroy those buildings were not committing treason, they were just peacefully protesting a distorted account of something that happened thousands of miles away that had nothing to do with the buildings under attack.
Rampaging anti-America flag-burning looters trying to breach White House security were not committing treason, they were just peacefully protesting a distorted account of something that happened thousands of miles away that had nothing to do with the buildings under attack.
Organized, paid, agitators and rioters were never considered by the Agenda Media and apologist politicians as dangerous, treasonous, or subversive (even when they chanted “Death To America” and burned our flag and promised to “burn down” the government). Beatings, rapes and murders by these people were carefully ignored though there were calls for the execution of a 17-year-ld boy who shot people who were shooting at him, because the people he shot were Leftists and he was a Trump supporter,
But a small handful of rowdy people who admittedly got out of hand, after more than a decade of wholly peaceful and orderly protests by the same general demographic, are now called traitors, with the claim that by breaking a few windows they were attacking all of the American people, and are the targets of so much outrage and fury one might think they had really been burning buildings, destroying businesses, looting stores and terrorizing people in their homes.
And the same people who claim that Donald Trump sent these rowdies to vandalize the Capital are still in a snit because the nation turned its back on the woman who sent three patriotic Americans to their deaths to try to cover up her criminal activity and then watched in real time as they were attacked and killed—and then blamed someone else for what happened.
So I guess I can’t get too worked up over the convenient outrage and hysteria of these two-faced apologists for the real subversion, the real treason, the real destruction of the fabric of our nation that are what they have promoted and defended for the last four years. The utter gall of preening over their own intention to “fundamentally transform” our nation by permanently changing the balance of powers dictated by the Constitution and rigging the demographics of the United States to ensure ongoing power, while piously posturing as lovers and defenders of the nation flaunting their alleged anger and grief at what they falsely call an attack on our government simply disgusts me.
Trump will be an ex-president in 13 days. The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part. Cleansing the movement he commands is going to be something else.

“Cleansing” is an interesting term. Seems like a leader in Germany used the same term in the 1930’s and 1940’s. It was problematic.

Many, mostly Leftists with their heads firmly planted where the view never changes, not only did not believe the Islamist promises to kill us all, they still deny that this is what they really mean when they say this.
We can’t make the same mistake when the Left promises to “cleanse” the nation of Trump supporters (ie: believers in personal liberty and the Constitution), openly states its opinion that gulags are good, and displays not just contempt but overt hostility toward us.
The one things the Left do not lie about are how far it will go to eliminate any opposition, silence any voice and forcibly impose its will on the people.
I understand that after the official swearing-in of the new Congress, the Dems were quietly taken into the bunker where the secret Star Chamber testimonies were given, where they could be reviewed and edited and evaluated for whether or not they should be revealed to the public. Here they were given their Secret Decoder Rings and code books, so they can study them and understand—in preparation for another
coup attempt“impeachment” effort—- what Trump REALLY MEANS when he says what he says. Those not schooled in Pelosi-speak or Schumer-babble might make the mistake of thinking he really meant “peaceful” when he said “peaceful” instead of “rise up to defend the white Fatherland and wreak violent havoc upon the innocent and well-meaning Antifa and Democrat peaceful protesters as we trample people of color and true patriots under our jackboots”.Can’t get far in the New Democrat Party without being proving you can hear and interpret dog whistles and pass a test on the secret codes.
I’ve been hearing reports that there was an active sting operation going on during the Capitol unrest. The 10th regiment Green Mountain division entered the building, and took Nancy Pelosi’s laptop as ongoing investigation into the 2016 and 2020 elections. As far as any other items that were being seized, I don’t know about.
Also, you might have seen pictures of a man with two coonskins draped over his shoulders, and bullhorns on his head, with his face painted red, white, and blue. Many have thought that he was part of Antifa…he’s not, he’s actually a Navy super soldier. He’s also Q. Inside his horns, he has cameras, and he infiltrates Antifa/BLM riots to film what they’re saying and doing. I’m not sure who he submits his work to, but I’m guessing to the highest ranks of the intelligence community. Both military, and DOJ/CIA.
What if anything will come of this so-called “sting operation” is anyone’s guess. All I can say is, we are in for the fight of our lives. I’m very concerned about those I love and care about, as I’m sure millions upon millions are right now, too.
There was a saying, “We all need to stick together, or we shall all hang separately.”
Something along those lines.
buffalo horns, Viking horns, potayto potahto, what’s a little detail to a Leftist loon?
I’m very skeptical about him, as well. I listened to some of the things he said on Dlive, and it was just completely in outer-space kind of thinking, for instance “inertia propulsion”? Something else about gravity. I don’t remember what it was. He also said the “cellphone towers are killing all the bio-life in the soil”? Lol!
Who said that? Buffalo Man? I was referring to the Left narrative about a “Viking”.
Yes.
Oh, okay. You were referring to the Left’s narrative about a “Viking.”
Some comments on the Dominion theatrical lawsuit against Sidney Powell.
1. The best defense against a defamation lawsuit is the truth
2. Arguing that there was no basis for her allegations should require extensive testimony from experts, testimony successfully blocked by the Left so far, making me think Dominion has made sure no machines still exist, or at least have the programming, that created the election fraud but at least there should be enough testimony from experts to prove that her allegations were well founded.
3. It is necessary to prove damages. Unless Dominion has lost business, they have no damages. As a matter of fact, they are practically guaranteed the business of every blue state in the nation from now on
