In 2021, it is Thinkers vs Mindless

The recall in California and the Canadian election show why the Covid fear-mongering is kept up: very large numbers of people are deathly afraid of the disease and will vote for whoever promises to keep them safe. As if anyone can do that – but, we’re dealing with people who lack basic knowledge of how the world works.

Who are these people? Well, they might have college degrees, but it isn’t like they learned anything; especially not anything outside a hard science. But even those who get degrees in engineering, still nothing beyond that. Used to be, a college education meant you got a fair amount of languages, art, philosophy, theology, history and law – and this regardless of what you might have been aiming at for a career. But what all that did was train the mind to think. College doesn’t do that. Even the best doctors and lawyers emerging from higher education these days can’t think. They can only regurgitate what they were told…because they weren’t told anything else.

You might think they’d eventually get annoyed by not thinking – you know, being surprised all the time that things don’t work as you were told they would – but a person who’s mind hasn’t been trained to think doesn’t realize what is missing. If things go wrong, they have no way to assess the facts and arrive at a conclusion. All they can do is stare blankly until someone else tells them what to believe about it. And that instruction is always close to hand: via TV and social media, you’ll be told what to believe!

Now, what about those who have no college education? Surely, they can’t think, either, right? Well, not quite. A welfare bum sitting on the couch eating Cheetos doesn’t think…but anyone who works for a living, who has to produce results in order to eat, thinks. There’s no other way to do it. Regardless even if it is a mindless assembly job, you still have to think about what you’re doing. Same thing, but more so, with activities like plumbing, auto repair, home construction, farming, etc. A plumber might well be inarticulate unless he reads in his spare time, but if he’s plumbed for more than a couple years, he had learned how to think…because mapping out how to do the job in front of you takes the ability to consider the unexpected and find a solution from a variety of alternates. On and on with the rest of such jobs. If you can’t think, you can’t do them.

And there is our real problem: a huge number of people who can’t think are yet able to vote and they vote as they’re told: in California and Canada, they just swamped people who know how to think – people who can balance the risk of a disease 98.12% survivable against the need to get things done. You and I – we being thinkers – are fully capable of assessing the risks of going to a large gathering, unmasked, amongst those who may or may not be vaccinated. As for me, given that the Mrs has a mild case of COPD, I would avoid such a thing because I know that people with underlying conditions are at much higher risk of severe complications than those without. We’re also able to see that the number of people under 25 who have died of the disease informs us that there is nearly no risk to youngsters gathering…so, kids, go have a party!

But the people who vote against us can’t do that. They simply don’t know how. All they know is that the disease can kill and the TV keeps telling them that its really dangerous and there’s that guy on Facebook who told them that hospitals are overflowing with the sick. So, best to go along with mask mandates and vaccine passports. Because the TV says that will keep you safe.

We’ll find out next year just what proportion of our population is thinking and what part of it is essentially brain dead. The better the Democrats do, the most stupid we’ll turn out to be.

Who are these people? Well, they might have college degrees, but it isn’t like they learned anything; especially not anything outside a hard science.

That’s been the case for a long time. My wife and I got married in the middle of my junior year in college, and she worked at the Miami University library until I graduated in 1967. Some of the “smartest” students needed help finding and checking out a book. It’s been my experience that “smart” people are divided into two groups, those who are genuinely intelligent, and those who are good at memorizing things. The two are not mutually exclusive but many in the latter group are the people you’re talking about. They only know stuff that they’ve memorized, and if it isn’t true, then they don’t know much that’s useful.

    • Amazona September 21, 2021 / 9:41 pm

Look at our “leaders” who howl the buzzwords like “insurgents” and “insurrection” when it is clear the don’t know what the words even mean. When I see the Leftist narratives coming from people who should know better I cringe, because they are basically announcing that they are nearly illiterate as well as indifferent to honesty or integrity.

For example, I don’t object to Liz Cheney because she hates Donald Trump. I am just offended by her constant claims of something that is not true. If she truly believes that the events of January 6 represent an “insurrection” then she is just too stupid to be in Congress.

      And that’s saying a lot.

So she’s either stupid or a liar—not that the two are mutually exclusive. The same is true of all the talking heads who babble this inaccurate nonsense.

      • Retired Spook September 22, 2021 / 8:59 am

So she’s either stupid or a liar

She doesn’t strike me as stupid, but then a lot of people who get into politics are able (most of the time) to sound more intelligent than they are.

I’m like Spook, the Left is not dumb, they know exactly what they’re doing, the problem is that they have sick, evil souls.

Is Liz Cheney stupid or a liar? Or is it purely intentional and more nefarious than we know? Is she protecting her Dad’s legacy? IMHO, the American ruling class long ago sold out this country and I suspect that there is a lot of dirt on her Dad that she needs to protect. The American ruling class and corporate class are so financially intertwined with China and the world elite that they long abandoned serving the American peoples interests. And remember, Trump knew these people. Trump knows the conflicts of interest all of them are saddled with and where the bodies are buried, hence the bio weapon of Covid, and mail in ballot fraud to remove him.

It should be obvious to everyone by now that the American ruling class are trying to collapse the Republic. They have crushed and closed many small businesses, are methodically eliminating single family home ownership, have obliterated the southern border, have incentivized waves of migrants to flood our country, have divided the country along every categorical line possible, and are enriching their donors and friends thru trillion dollar stimulus bills while insulating their own power and wealth. Please wear your mask and stay safe.

I don’t think trashing Trump had anything to do with protecting Dick Cheney’s legacy. Calling attention to yourself and running the risk of being run out of the Senate in the next election, plus losing valuable committee positions in the meantime, means not being able to affect anything.

I think she thought the tide had permanently turned against Trump and his supporters so she got on the train run by the Dems, hoping her turncoat act would put her in with the new bosses in Congress. And it blew up in her face. I don’t think it was any more complicated than that.

FYI I know the woman running against her, who has a good shot at winning the primary if the Republicans don’t repeat their game-losing strategy of hamstringing their best candidates by splitting the votes among a bunch of attention-seekers. Her name is Harriet Hageman, she is endorsed by Trump, and she is the real deal.

GW Bush is supporting Cheney. Gee, what a surprise. But the question is, for the half dozen people in the world who might care, is it because her last name is Cheney, or because she has taken a strong anti-Trump stance, or because he, too, is angling for an invitation to be on the Pelosi train?

Yesterday I heard of a new Project Veritas investigation into vaccine reactions. Today I started to look it up online and found several online news groups writing about it, but not a word from the Agenda Media.

I did find an article about Robert Kennedy Jr. talking about this. I don’t know if he is one of THE Kennedys—his stance is hardly in line with the Dem machine, so hard telling. (emphasis mine)

Some of the facts that have been inaccurately reported or swept under the rug include:

Viable and readily available treatments for COVID have been withheld so that vaccines could get Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). The only way experimental vaccines could have been granted this status was in the absence of treatments. That led to the media-endorsed idea that no early and effective treatments were available. People have died because of this fallacy that has been relentlessly presented day after day to the public by the media.

No healthy individual should die or be injured from a vaccine. We are now approaching a time when the injuries and deaths from the vaccine will likely surpass those from the virus. Between mid-December, 2020 and August 5 of this year, 571,831 total adverse events including 12,791 deaths have been reported to our government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) ** , yet the media maintains a blackout on the topic. By comparison, when it became known that an estimated 50 people died after receiving the swine flu shot in 1976, that vaccination campaign was immediately shut down.

The COVID vaccine does not prevent transmission. As stated in the documentation upon which the FDA granted EUA status to COVID vaccines, and as the CDC recently acknowledged to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, COVID vaccines do not stop transmission of the virus, one of the chief goals of any vaccine. Shaming the unvaccinated for new COVID cases is baseless and dangerously divisive.
Children are at extremely low risk of death or hospitalization from COVID and there is no justification for recommending this vaccine to kids. The COVID survival rate across all age groups is 98.23% and in children it is even higher at 99.985% calling into question the need for widespread COVID vaccination of any age group but especially for children who are at such minimal risk from COVID.

COVID vaccines are not helping society reach herd immunity. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that the vaccinated are spreading the virus just as easily as the unvaccinated. And while the vaccinated are still getting COVID, they will become sentenced to a lifetime of booster shots that will continue to cause injuries and deaths as we’re currently seeing in the VAERS data. Yet the media perpetuates the falsehood that more boosters are the way out of the epidemic — especially now that it’s becoming apparent that the original COVID vaccines are failing.

The origins of COVID-19 remain shrouded in secrecy by the media. Even though Congress has launched an investigation, the media is still providing guidance on the epidemic and COVID vaccines based on Dr. Anthony Fauci’s recommendations. As Dr. Fauci may well be responsible for funding this dangerous science at the Wuhan Lab, and his vaccine conflicts of interests have come into question, his ability to lead the response to the epidemic has been compromised beyond repair.

** according to the O’Keefe recordings, many (and possibly most) adverse reactions are NOT reported to VAERS.

    From the Project Veritas investigation:

Dr. Maria Gonzales, ER Doctor, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: “The problem in here is that they are not doing the studies. People that had [COVID] and the people that have been vaccinated — they’re not doing any antibody testing.”

Jodi O’Malley, Insider and Registered Nurse, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: “Nope.”

Dr. Gonzales: “Everybody is quiet with that. Why?”

O’Malley: “Now, you got this guy in Room Four who got his second dose of the [COVID] vaccine on Tuesday and has been short of breath. Okay? Now his BNP is elevated. D diMer elevated, ALT, all his liver enzymes are elevated. His PTPT-INR is elevated.”

Dr. Gonzales: “He’s probably got myocarditis!”

    O’Malley: “Yes!”

Dr. Gonzales: “All this is bullshit. Now probably myocarditis due to the vaccine.”

    O’Malley: “Right.”

Dr. Gonzales: “But now, they [government] are not going to blame the vaccine.”

O’Malley: “Well and you know what — but he has an obligation to report that doesn’t he? It happened right — what is it — sixty days after if you see anything?”

Dr. Gonzales: “They have got to.”

O’Malley: “But how many are reporting?”

Dr. Gonzales: “They are not reporting.”

    O’Malley: “Right!”

Dr. Gonzales: “Because they want to shove it under the mat.”
    ……………………………

Deanna Paris, Registered Nurse, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: “It’s a shame they [government] are not treating people [with COVID] like they’re supposed to, like they should. I think they want people to die.”

Jodi O’Malley, Insider and Registered Nurse, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: “How many have you seen that have gotten vaccinated here?”

Paris: “That got sick from the side effects? A lot.”

    O’Malley: “A lot!”

Paris: “Have you seen it too?”

O’Malley: “Yeah, and I’m like, who’s writing the VAERS reports?”

Paris: “Nobody because it takes over a half hour to write the damn thing.”

So we have some very scary figures from VAERS as well as testimony that a lot (possibly most) adverse reactions don’t even get reported.

Gee, I wonder if stuff like this is why so many medical personnel refuse to take the “vaccine”..

If we can find out about Project Veritas, in spite of the all-out coordinated efforts of the administration and the media and the other assorted lapdogs and co-conspirators trying to keep its findings under wraps, we know that the administration has heard of it.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the newest frantic efforts to distract us with something else they think we will find bright and shiny and too irresistible to ignore? Today it is a flying rein and the resurrection of “children jerked from the arms of their parents”.

The thing is, the way things are going now it is really hard to tell what is just a plain old Biden disaster—after all, it’s a day that ends in “Y”—-or something magnified to try to divert attention from what is most dangerous to the administration.

And just because it is important to keep things as confusing as possible, we have this from the UK:

    From DailyMail.co.uk…

A whistleblower has sensationally claimed China deliberately spread Covid at a military tournament two months before the rest of the world knew about the deadly virus.

Ex-Chinese Communist Party insider Wei Jingsheng said The World Military Games in October 2019 could have acted as the virus’ first superspreader event.

The international tournament for military athletes was held in Wuhan – the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic – two months before China notified the World Health Organisation about its first cases.
    …………………….

His claims were supported by the former Principal China Adviser to the US State Department Miles Yu.

He said French, German and American athletes were among those to fall ill at the tournament with Covid-like symptoms, but were never tested for the virus..

And just to really add to the drama, a possible bomb thrown into a Trump presidential campaign:

Mr Jingsheng also claims he took his concerns about the unfolding situation to senior figures within the Trump administration in November 2019 but was ignored.
    ………………………..

The Chinese dissident would not disclose which political leaders he spoke to but insisted they were senior government figures and had the ear of then-President Donald Trump.

‘I’m not sure if this politician wants me to talk about him right here,’ he said.

‘But I want to say he is a high enough politician, high enough to be able to reach the President of the United States.’

    • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 11:38 am

I didn’t catch Tucker’s show last night but saw a short article about it online, and what caught my attention was what I didn’t see, or notice, in the video clip I linked. That is that several men all dressed alike in black clothing, with faces hidden, were the ones who opened the doors and then kind of disappeared. When I get back home tonight I will see if I can find that clip of his show and watch it, but the video shown in the online article was alarming.

The implications are sinister, ranging from the obvious—that Leftist infiltrators set up the naive and clueless Trump supporters is one thing, that the people opening the doors and essentially inviting the protestors in were actually federal agents is far worse, and that prosecutors tried so hard to keep this from being known as they relentlessly pursued and prosecuted those who wandered in is a lot more concerning. Prosecutors are not allowed to withhold or hide exculpatory evidence.

I am really tired of the “good guys” turning out to be Bad Guys with the full force of our government behind them.

We know who random grandmas who took selfies are, but we are to believe the feds just have no idea who the men are who opened the doors? Why are they not dressed like everyone else? Why do they seem to know exactly where to go and what to do? Why are they not stopped by the people already in the Capitol, who I assume are USCP officers? When the doors are opened, the people walking in almost seem surprised and confused. There was clearly no grand plan here by insurrectionists. Rather, it certainly looks like those who opened the doors were separate from the protest.

And while the narrative for a long time on the right was that these were Antifa operatives, that was always the wrong assumption, in my opinion. It always made much more sense that the men in black were federal agents, FBI or otherwise. Remember, this is the same FBI that essentially orchestrated the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping attempt. It’s the same FBI that had more agents at last week’s “Justice for January 6th” rally than there were actually protesters.

Further, if those aren’t federal agents in the video, then why hide that fact and fight so hard to keep the video that shows them under wraps? Why not just reveal who they are? The government could clear this up in an instant. After all, they can track down random people across the country who stole a beer from Pelosi’s office, but we are to believe they just don’t know who those men are? Give me a break.

Sadly I agree 100% and this is something I have been trying to get across to everyone for the last year or so. Look at what is playing out in Australia and if you think that can’t happen here …. think again. Also, the 2 million + third world immigrants coming to America just this year, are changing the face of America. Amazing (but not surprising) the extent politicians will go to, to shut down any dissent on COVID protocols & mandates. The push to label all such discussions as misinformation and “public health crisis” (labeling anything a crisis escalates the fear in mindless people) opens the window for the attempt it to circumvent the first amendment by proposing bogus “laws” to prevent the truth from coming to light. There are certainly times when civil disobedience is a reasonable option and in fact preferable to being steamrolled.

The fact that such harsh measures are being pushed by politicians & media as opposed to many in the general medical community should give pause as to the intent. That there are a number of hospitals that have already or plan to shut down certain wards due to medical staff leaving or being forced from their jobs for refusing to get the vaccination should also be an eye opener. In every case I’ve seen, these are self inflected wounds the hospitals are causing themselves.

I guess stupid knows few boundaries.

In regards to hospitals driving out good healthcare workers from employment, I wonder how this will play out if / when all those who got the COVID vaccination start becoming ill and / or debilitated? It appears to me, especially in light of the current efforts to vaccinate perfectly healthy youth who have proven to show miniscule long term effects form the virus itself, only a matter of time before number of people experiencing problems and / or death will become too large to ignore or hide. The demand for healthcare workers will then skyrocket way beyond the current shortages. Think they’ll care then that someone didn’t get the vaccination?

If the numbers being projected by many prominent doctors and researchers about the devastation of the vaccination becomes a reality, I could see where those public figures pushing for stringent mandates and vaccinations would fear for their lives for the destruction they caused. And that does not even include the ruin of things beyond human lives.

We are without question entering a new world never experienced before. (I was going to say in generations but after a short reflection it seems the world has never been faced with the direction things are going now.) I cannot see how history will look kindly on our current state of affairs.

Back in 2002-2003, the swine flu (also caused by a cov-sar virus) vaccine was shut down after a short period of being administered when 53 people died as a result. That the CDC / FDA admit there have been over 10,000 deaths (a number some data analysts & scientists have indicated is at least 4-5 times greater) have occurred in less than a year as a result of the COVID-19 vaccine, but they somehow think we should continue pushing the vaccine. Why do they even pretend anymore what this is all about? (Hint – $$$, power, control) I’m guessing there’s no shortage of fearful, gullible people.

    • Amazona September 23, 2021 / 1:19 pm

It’s definitely about control. All we have to do is look at the intense focus on silencing any discussion of any alternative to the official narrative. Anyone paying even lip service to the concept of the scientific method would welcome discussion of differing opinions and approaches to analyzing data, but what we are seeing is a cabal of government officials and companies controlling the spread of information all working to shut down any such discussion. They silence it, they deny it and they punish it.

I think some of this is motivated by greed, but most is the craving of the Left to exert complete control over the populace. As I have said before, the Left has never been able to achieve power in a stable culture—it is an opportunistic pathogen that can only prevail in a system that is weakened and disorganized. This is why the focus of the Left over the past few decades has been to destabilize our society, to introduce conflicts and fracture the connections among us that make us strong and resilient.

Setting aside the possibility that this virus may have been not just engineered in a radically Leftist nation but purposely set upon us, its very existence in this country has given the Left a vehicle for spreading panic, which leads to the chaos necessary for Leftist advancement, and for instilling fear, which leads to a desire for protection by a strong government or at least acceptance of what are portrayed as necessary controls.

In a nation governed by a system with the best interests of its people at heart, the fact that recovering from the virus conveys a strong and durable resistance and even full immunity would be celebrated. Yet in this regime it is not just ignored, its existence is purposely covered up. But this naturally acquired immunity is not something provided by the government, and therefore has to be ignored in a system dedicated to making the people depend on the government for everything.

      • jdge1 September 23, 2021 / 2:31 pm

”… the Left has never been able to achieve power in a stable culture—it is an opportunistic pathogen that can only prevail in a system that is weakened and disorganized.”

Perhaps we should be working on a vaccine to cure of the leftist marxist pathogen. Some might suggest we already have one that’s been around for ages and a single dose is highly effective though occasionally a second booster might be required. It’s called the bullet. (/sar)

Maybe something a little less permanent? Guess that depends on how contagious it becomes and to what level of destruction it creates. Though many may discount it, prayer is my current option of choice. That and continued diligence.

      • Amazona September 23, 2021 / 5:49 pm

The only thing that gives me hope—aside from the fact that the very existence of this nation is based on the intervention of the Lord—is my conviction that most of those who provide support for the American Left don’t really have an ideological basis for that support. They have fallen for the sleight of hand where they think they are supporting “fairness” and “equality” and “not-racism” and “not letting children starve” and the other shiny things the Left dangles in front of them to distract them from the inherent brutality, unfairness, lack of equality, racism and history of starving political opponents to death that are all part of the reality of the Left.

And to a great extent I blame the Right for this, because in spite of all the smart people on the Right, and all the money, and all the resources, we are still fumbling bumbling idiots when it comes to educating the masses. And this is the core difference in the relative success of Left and Right. The Left has a coherent plan, which is rigidly followed, with a logical and linear pattern of gradually increasing the intensity of its messaging while increasing control of most of the various media. The Right is continually taken aback and surprised, always on the back foot, always defensive.

So I believe that if the Right could pull its head out, and stop acting like cats being herded and develop some discipline and a coherent communication strategy we could bleed off at least half of the public support for the American Left.

But we’d better hurry, because the USSR, in spite of its obvious defects, still had a lot of true believers, and the longer we let the Left settle in and take over everything the more American true believers in the system, instead of the hype, we will be facing. Right now it’s almost all hype, and hype can be disarmed, undermined, ridiculed and dissipated with a good strategy.

Without resorting to the double tap.

I don’t think the Right is guilty on the part of “not being able to educate” the masses so much as not bringing enough force to the table. The Left has been successful in large part because they’ve used the courts to force their will on the American people. The Right has been too busy working and tending to their families to care about the fate of their jobs and the future of their families due to the political ramifications of socialist rulings within the “justice” system. For example, when a senate or court ruling came down that said, “we hereby grant 2,000,000 immigrants jobs and voting rights” that should have meant war. The right should stand up and put their foot down and say NO, absolutely not! And if the government continued to force their decision on the American. Then the Right should let the smoke poles roll!

Good video interview with a real doctor

The “vaccine” which is really just a therapeutic, could be making the spread of COVID-19 worse. Vaccinated people are carrying high viral loads. So at least according to this doctor, the all holy vaccinated could be super-spreaders. This makes sense when you take an overall look at the trend: populations with high percentages of vaccinated people have huge spikes and spreads of COVID-19. If this “vaccine” was indeed an actual vaccine, I don’t think we’d see that.

This means, in Courtney Kirchoff’s opinion, if those who are pushing the vaccine cared about stopping or slowing the spread of COVID-19, they wouldn’t push the vaccine. They’d herald natural immunity. They’d encourage treatments of COVID, not therapeutics which could be making EVERYTHING WORSE.

Robert Mueller needs to be hung

    • Amazona September 23, 2021 / 12:56 pm

      hanged. jes’ sayin’.

“Hanged” refers to the process of hanging a person by the neck with the intent of causing death. Not getting into details but when the word “hung” is associated with a man, the whole meaning can change very drastically, not that a genteel lady of a certain age would know about such things. Don’t take my word for it.

      When to Use Hang

Hang, of course, is the present tense form of the verb. Hang has a few different uses and meanings.

      For example,

To fasten from above with no support from below; suspend – Will you hang this picture on the wall?
To hold or decline downward; let droop – Don’t hang your head in shame.
To pay strict attention – He hangs on my every word.
To cling tightly to something – Hang on to the rope.

      When to Use Hanged

Hanged is the past tense and past participle of hang only when used in the sense of “put to death by hanging.”

      For example,

The traitor was hanged for treason.
The criminal was hanged in the public square for his crimes.

It’s important to remember that hanged has a very specific use. We only use hanged when we are referring to the killing of a human being by suspending the person by the neck. With all other past tenses of hang, you will want to use hung.

And if death is not intended or likely, or the person is suspended by a body part other than the neck, use hung.

      For example,

They hung him out to dry.
He was hung upside down as part of the prank.
They hung him by his arms and beat him.

I do consider the possibility that your reference was either to Mueller’s qualifications in the porn industry or that you just think he should be suspended by some body part as a punishment stopping short of death.

      • Cluster September 23, 2021 / 7:05 pm

I’ve never understood that. “Hanged” just sounds wrong.

      • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 1:32 pm

I know it sounds wrong, but that is probably because we have heard it wrong for so long.

The same thing is true of the now-prevalent mistake of using the wrong number for a verb. Example: The group of men was becoming very angry. This is correct—the “group” which is a singular noun, WAS becoming angry—singular verb. But because we no longer diagram sentences in schools, or even study grammar, most of don’t understand that the verb has to relate to the subject of the sentence—“group”—and not the modifier—“men”. It SOUNDS right to use the plural verb because we are focused on the plural noun—men. But it’s a single group, so it WAS becoming angry.

I learned to recognize and then drop the modifier when I wasn’t sure of how to say something. So in this case I would drop the modifier—“men” and then the sentence makes sense with the singular verb.

The same thing holds true of the deadly “myself”. In an effort to appear genteel we have fallen into the trap of saying things like “My friend and myself went to the party”. But if in this case we drop the primary noun—friend—we can see that we would not say “myself went to the party”. We would say “I went to the party”. We have become squeamish about the word “me” as if it implies rudeness. so we say “The point was made to her and myself” instead of “to her and me”.

To those of us who went through school taught by grammar police, these things are ingrained in us and the errors are like fingernails on the now-antiquated blackboards.

And don’t get me started on the Rogue Apostrophe…………

      • Retired Spook September 24, 2021 / 2:31 pm

so we say “The point was made to her and myself” instead of “to her and me”.

I cringe at how many TV and radio people use her and I did X instead of she and I did X, or something happened to Dave and I, instead of something happened to Dave and me.

I’ve never understood that. “Hanged” just sounds wrong.

I never have either. I guess since the vernacular has been changed so much, it would be simpler just to say that Mueller needs to be taken to the gallows. Which there’s only one purpose for a gallows.

The AMA’s 9 stated guidelines for physicians and medical professionals for coming winter of 2021.

    – Express confidence in vaccine development,

    – Stress the importance of vaccines,

    – Highlight the need to combat the spread of vaccine misinformation,

    – Adhere to updated ethical guidance for physicians and medical personnel, which says they have a moral obligation to get vaccinated themselves,

    – Give general vaccine recommendations, such as the recommendation for everyone over the age of 6 months, including pregnant women, to get an annual flu shot,

    – Stress the importance of eliminating nonmedical vaccine exemptions,

    – Highlight the increased availability of flu vaccines, and the importance of getting a flu shot even if you’ve gotten a COVID injection,

    – Highlight the importance of including minorities, both in vaccine trials and as trusted messengers who can “promote social pressure” to get minorities vaccinated and dispel historical distrust in medical institutions,

    – Denounce scientific analyses “predicated on personal opinions, anecdote and political ideologies”

Anytime a person or group used the phrase “moral obligation” in their arguments to persuade others to accept a point of view that is dishonest makes me want to slap them silly. That they want to eliminate nonmedical vaccine exemptions is without question unconstitutional (even if leftist judges rule otherwise). And they think we should trust them?

The AMA also stresses that: 1) Doctors are to speak for the AMA, and 2) doctors are NOT to offer their personal views. Speaking for the AMA is listed under “Your Responsibilities”. Mafia 101.

But as Amazona pointed out about anyone offering differing information, “They silence it, they deny it and they punish it.” For doctors, punishment is often the threat or actual carrying out of stripping your medical license.

    • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 9:20 pm

Some of these statements truly amaze me.

For example, they completely ignore the fact that the term “misinformation” is vague and constantly changing, and extremely dependent on personal bias and interpretation.

They then take it upon themselves to create “updated ethical guidance” and go on to claim there is a “moral obligation to get vaccinated themselves,”. That is insane. They are basically saying that medical personnel have no right to research information and draw their own conclusions but must, to be moral and ethical, submit to authority even in matters of personal choice regarding medical treatment.

And then, in the cherry-on-top-of-the-sundae style, after issuing edicts based almost exclusively on
analyses predicated on personal opinions, anecdote and political ideologies, declare that all members of the AMA (which, BTW, is not the same as “all doctors”) must agree to act based on scientific analyses “predicated on personal opinions, anecdote and political ideologies”.

The AMA has been increasingly recognized as a political group more than a strictly medical group and I remember reading a while back that a lot of doctors had chosen to not belong

      • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 9:29 pm

But this brings up something I have been wondering about—-what is going to happen when the dust clears and the facts finally come out about this whole thing?

What if the doomsdayers are right and the vaccines just make people more vulnerable to variants, leading to more serious illnesses and more deaths? We are now seeing this from the basic vaccine, but the story is that more vaccines will fix this. What if more vaccines just make it worse?
What then? What can you do when millions of people are put at risk, and/or damaged or dead, because their government forced them to take something the government knew was dangerous but lied about? I don’t think anything like this has ever happened before.

I can easily see Trump weighing in on this, saying he trusted Fauci and the CDC but since he made his recommendations and got the vaccine process put in high gear he has learned that he was wrong and that if he were still president he would have leveled with the people and pulled the plug on the whole thing. I wish he would. He is the only person with a megaphone big enough and someone has to step in and stop this before it escalates any further.

  14. Cluster September 23, 2021 / 7:14 pm

Here’s a fun little fact … more children under the age of 17 have been shot in Chicago this year, than have died from Covid nationwide.

Keep this in mind too, our government is releasing millions of unknown illegal immigrants into this country, unvaccinated and even untested, all the while imposing vax and mask mandates on it’s own citizens. Who are they representing again?

    • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 1:38 pm

The other day on the Clay and Buck radio show that now occupies the old Rush Limbaugh time slot, Clay was talking about the death rate of children. I need to see if I can find a clip of the episode.

He asked Buck how many two year old children, out of the 2 million (if I remember correctly) 2-year-olds there are in the country, died OF Covid. Buck’s guess finally dropped to “fewer than a100” and the answer was “2”. Clay went on with other examples from other age groups, and the figures were always in low single digits.

So how many two-year-olds died last year from drowning? From car accidents? From being run over in their driveways by their parents? We have completely lost perspective.

      Missing from……?

      • Retired Spook September 24, 2021 / 2:28 pm

      • Cluster September 24, 2021 / 4:32 pm

Exactly. And more specifically the segment I saw on Katy Tury’s MSNBC showing today highlighting one woman of color who has been missing. Can’t let the white woman take up all the attention

      • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 6:24 pm

Of course Reid couldn’t bother with any of the details of why the Petito case got so much attention—-it wasn’t just that an attractive young woman was missing, it was the fact that her boyfriend drove her van across the country back to his home and claimed to not have any idea where she was.

Young white women go missing all the time without any news attention, but they disappear while going to college, or on their way home from somewhere. It was the cross-country trip followed by the odd return of the boyfriend that drew attention to this.

Way too nuanced for race-obsessed Reid.

      • Amazona September 24, 2021 / 6:59 pm

Speaking of Reid, et al, I finally saw a larger photo of the “whipping like in slave days when while men routinely whipped black men blah blah blah”—-the man on horseback isn’t even holding the rein in question. He is holding onto the shirt of the black man. The rein is clearly just flipping around after he let go of it.

It’s like the old story of the earth sitting on the shell of a turtle, and when asked what the turtle is standing on the response is “it’s turtles all the way down”. But when it comes to the bimbos of Agenda Media–Reid, Mika, Nicole, etc.—it’s just stupid all the way down. And there’s no bottom.

  17. Amazona September 24, 2021 / 6:44 pm

I’ve been thinking of the many ways this country is involved in. to the point of being complicit and even participating, in some of the most horrific things happening today.

We look at Biden’s attacks on the American fossil fuel industry as some cockamamie “green” pandering to the rabid pseudo-enviro Left. But pulling back a little for a broader view, what he is doing is funneling billions or trillions of dollars to Saudi Arabia, a major funder of international terrorism. A cynic might wonder if a man already known to be corrupt to his core might be getting some kind of kickback for his assistance in bolstering the Saudi economy, no matter how that money is spent over there.

When we break down the many elements of the Biden open borders policies, we see a wide range of human rights abuses directly attributable to them.

Starting in Mexico, we see drug cartels making billions of dollars by taking money to transport people to and even across the border But it is worse than that, as the people who pay the cartels are often just starting their journey to hell. Girls and young women are routinely raped along the way and often taken prisoner to be sold into sex slavery. Once across the border thousands are imprisoned while their families back home are extorted by their kidnapers, who demand money to keep the illegal immigrants alive. Others are left to die in box vans or shipping containers.

Even those who make it to the border without paying the cartels often die along the way, suffering dehydration and starvation especially when they try to cross the American deserts.

When this country encourages poor and desperate people to come to our border, to cross illegally, promising them comforts and benefits, we are morally and ethically responsible for what happens to them when they answer the invitation. That makes us as a nation complicit in human trafficking, sex slavery including that of young children, the miseries and frequent deaths of those on the journeys, the enrichment of drug vicious drug cartels and the sheer cruelty of encouraging people to leave their homes because they think we will give them better lives here.

Joe Biden and his backers have made us, as a nation, responsible for every rape, every kidnaping, every extortion and every death associated with the luring of desperate people to our border. All this while he and his crew are forcing Americans to fund, indirectly, the terrorists who want to kill us.

It sure contradicts the smug assumption of moral superiority of the Left, doesn’t it? They have their late-night “comics” virtue signaling about “the climate” while they are responsible for so many horrors and potential dangers.

I wonder if Sting is going to give an aid concert with a slide show on the jumbotrons of the horrors of the drug cartel control of illegal immigration, or the funding of terrorists with American dollars spent on Saudi oil. I wonder when Bono is going to start singing about what happens to girls and young women who try to come here illegally, or the children left behind on the way.

But no, I don’t wonder these things, because these complicit hypocrites are too busy patting themselves on the back for their courageous stands against carbon dioxide.
