Pudding Brain is set to surrender entirely to Iran on nuclear weapons and is now trying to curry favor or Venezuela. These guys will do anything other than pump American oil. Their solution is to buy the dirtiest oil in the world from two of the worst regimes in the world.

Pro-Ukraine forces on social media get very mad at you if you point out that Ukraine is trying to start WWIII. I don’t think the Ukrainians want WWIII…but they are clearly willing to risk it. They pretty much have to: without outside intervention there is no way they can physically keep the Russians out: they simply don’t have sufficient weight of material for that. My bet is that they hope a bit of NATO vs Russia brinksmanship will bring Putin to the table as he won’t want a larger war. This may be correct. This may also end up in WWIII. There’s no shame in Ukraine trying this – the life of their nation is at stake. But everyone better understand what’s happening and not get all starry-eyed about Ukraine to the point where all common sense is lost.

No matter how Red the State, the Commies still control education and media at the bare minimum. And this is because the feckless GOP simply let it happen. Didn’t want to fight. This seems bizarre to Progressives, but that’s because Progressives are stupid. No sane person wants an unending flow of unvetted people coming in. And, sure, Pedro down there in south Texas doesn’t want cousin Julio deported…but he also wants good schools, well paid jobs and low crime…and he knows he can’t get that if the border isn’t secure. What do they fear? A GOP with increasingly strong working class support across racial lines starts enacting laws that working class people want: no more CRT, at least late-term abortion bans, no more teaching 3rd graders about transgender issues, secure borders, Made in America…the stuff of Establishment nightmares.
Gas here at my local Vegas gas station went from $4.09 a gallon on Monday to $4.69 a gallon today. And it was something like $3.79 a gallon about two weeks ago. This is an economic killer – we’re getting into a risk of hyperinflation. Still a low risk, but what is normally a 0.01% risk in the USA is now about a 10% risk. These prices (and the massive spikes in wheat and corn prices) are going to ripple through the economy over the next six months and I do expect a very sharp recession out of it.

I read where they may start bombing Kyiv tonight. It’s really sad to see, they killed three little children as they were trying to flee.
They showed a little boy who was fleeing Ukraine, he had a backpack on, and all he had in it was his little puppy.

Aside from all these harrowing stories, there’s nothing much going to stop Putin in his thirst for power. He’s got largest country by territory in the world, but it doesn’t satisfy him, which is proof that material possessions and wealth do not satisfy.
Putin could use his nuclear power to take over half of the world and his still wouldn’t be satisfied. Just like hell, which is never satisfied with just one last soul.

It was bad enough when the perfectly good incandescent light bulbs were banned, to be replaced with bulbs that came with instructions on how to handle breakage that stopped just short of needing to wear a Hazmat suit—-keep children and pets away, open windows and doors to ventilate the area—-and the bulbs have to be discarded in specific places, not put in landfills (Which, of course, they are, because who reads instructions on how to handle a light bulb?) So this protection against whatever danger was represented by light bulbs safely in use for decades (I think it was energy consumption) has led to who knows how much toxic material in our landfills leaching into our groundwater.
And now it seems that those giant fans in the sky are built of some other toxic material(s). So how is disposal handled when they have to be replaced? How much does it cost to break down and dispose of these parts?

Lots of shades of gray in this situation; both good and bad people in Ukraine, and Putin is a thug and war criminal. That said, I don’t see a scenario where a lot of innocent Ukrainians aren’t going to die, so it seems to me that the best outcome for the world is for Russia to get bogged down in an insurgency in Ukraine for a decade.
They really do deserve each other. Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and is certainly a top sex slave trading country and Putin is an violent, authoritarian mad man so let them duke it out and see what happens.

I was watching this broadcast earlier, it sheds some light on the plight of the Ukrainian people…
You know, regardless of what people think, Putin has no right whatsoever to attack anyone, regardless of their political ties from the past or the present. Ukraine posed no threat to Russia. So, there’s no call for Putin’s action. But, now that he’s done gone and done what he thought he “had” to do, I hope Ukraine grinds the bones of Putin’s army to dust.
If Zelenskey wants to join NATO let him do so, more power to him. Just leave the Ukrainian people alone. Putin has gone bloody mad (to borrow a Brit phrase), kind of like Stalin was.
What’s confusing is our “leadership” here in the United States, is they are helping both Ukraine and Russia at the same time, by buying Putin’s oil. I think maybe Biden’s climate “czars” are calling the shots on that, and they’re just like Stalinists, they don’t care how bad people suffer.
Putin is an authoritarian thug who needs to be eliminated from this planet as soon as possible, but Ukraine is no virtuous saint. The financial corruption and sex slave trafficking alone precludes Ukraine from NATO membership. Besides, a neutral Ukraine would best serve the tensions in the area and that’s what’s most important. Imperialistic nation building is an antiquated 20th century construct that needs to be abandoned.
I think that while we know Ukraine is corrupt we need to look at its DNA. It was part of the Soviet Union for decades, and the only way to survive in the USSR was through graft and corruption. That attitude is baked into Russians even today. I hired a firm I later learned was run by Russians to do remodeling in my Denver house and I never met any group so thoroughly and blatantly corrupt. They would rather do something wrong and count on contacts in the building department to OK it than do it right. The replacement firm was amazed—“it was like they didn’t even TRY to do things right.” And they didn’t, because that wasn’t part of the mentality. It was a “screw ’em” mentality, almost as if doing a good job would be submission or something. It was pathological.
When “democracy” and “capitalism” hit Russia, they went through the old Russian filters and came out deeply and profoundly corrupt, just with new veneers and labels. Ukraine lived under that rule and mentality and it is no surprise that when it got political independence it carried a lot of the old USSR way of doing things along with it.

On Monday night’s The ReidOut on MSNBC, host Joy Reid used the last segment of her prime-time show to exploit the war in Ukraine in order to play racial politics. Reid claimed that the reason the United States and the rest of the world care so much about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is that their population is “white and largely Christian.”
Correction ignorant racist bitch – only America’s progressive Democrats and the deep state military industrial complex care about Ukraine because there is money and ratings to be gained. America first conservatives don’t give two shits about Ukraine’s “democracy” but thanks once again for showing us all what a complete waste of flesh you are.
I was in line at the supermarket yesterday, and the two people ahead of me were complaining about the cost of gas ($3.99 yesterday, $4.25 today). The one guy made a comment that I thought was worth repeating. He said he would bet that for every 10 cent increase in the price of gas, the Democrats lose a million votes, and he would gladly pay $10/gal in the short term to put Democrats back in the minority. I don’t disagree. Think about the increase in the cost of gas as nothing more than a campaign contribution.
The current Democrat party and the crime families that run it – Clinton’s, Biden’s, Obama’s, and Kerry’s needs to be dismantled and eliminated, not just out in the minority.
And guess who has decided to grift off the Ukraine war?? Any guesses?? The Clinton foundation is back !!! That’s right. Saving democracy one billion dollar donation at a time.

And as truckers are being so hard hit by this we should pay to put giant signs on at least the independent truckers’ rigs saying something like “Don’t blame us when your prices go up. Look who’s in charge in Washington”. They are hauling 53′ long blank billboards across the country. The GOP should be putting them to good use. I guess our politicians are too busy shoring up Democrat disasters by spending more money in the middle of the night.
We know most Democrats are not very bright, and easily influenced by the next shiny thing. So we need to start NOW with strong, unambiguous messaging.

Former AG William Barr has done a 2-part interview with Bret Baier at Fox News. The first part aired a couple of nights ago. I always thought Barr was a pretty straight shooter, but, in response to a question about voter fraud, he claimed he gave orders to all U.S. Attorneys to investigate any and all claims of fraud and there was not enough in any state to change the outcome of the election. My guess is that all they investigated were claims of dead people voting, people voting more than once, and people voting in more than one state. I’d bet they never investigated the likely millions of paper mail-in ballots that were phony. Barr also claimed that Trump ran well behind the GOP as a whole in all the contested states. I don’t have the resources or time to confirm or repudiate that, but that would explain how the GOP picked up a dozen or so House seats. The fact remains, though, that Trump performed better in 2020 compared to 2016 by something like 11 million votes, the largest increase by an incumbent president since Martin Van Buren in 1840. Interestingly, both men lost.
If the true history of the 2020 election is ever written, I suspect it will show that it was the perfect storm of censorship/information manipulation by big tech; hundreds of millions of dollars spent to install unmonitored drop boxes and promote Democrats/denigrate Trump by the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and George Soros, millions of fraudulent mail-in paper ballots plus an unusually high level of garden variety cheating that occurs in every election.

Barr is just a bureaucratic deep state apologist who never had any intent on seriously looking into election fraud, which as you mentioned happens all the time but in 2020 they kicked it up a few notches. I lost all respect for Barr when he fell back on the excuse “not enough votes to change the outcome”, completely ignoring the legal requirement of legitimate certification, All he had to do was say that if there was evidence of large scale voting mismanagement or illegitimacy in any state its legislature could not legally certify a count that couldn’t be shown to be accurate. That’s all he had to do.
When he and others who are supposedly wise in the ways of the law said, in so many words, that although we could prove that thousands of votes were fraudulent in some way there was no way to sort them out to know who should have gotten them or how to subtract them from the total so we had to just accept the total as it was given to us, that was proof to me that they were either abysmally stupid or abysmally dishonest—because the very fact that there was no way to determine who got which votes is the very definition of “uncertifiable”.
