One doesn’t have to support Israel. I don’t support Israel. I simply refuse to hate Jews.
Which is, of course, simply true. Now, on my part, I do support Israel – explicitly as a Jewish State. One thing the past century has taught us is that even in the most advanced and tolerant societies, Jew-hatred is both easy to stir up and quickly becomes deadly. But the bottom line is that reasonable people can take exception to Israel – both in its actions and in its reason for being. That is, you can think it was a mistake to create Israel…but this doesn’t entail hating Jews.
We’ve talked here before of the genesis of modern Anti-Semitism, which is different from that of the Middle Ages where it was simply thought that Jews were foolishly wrong for not accepting Christ as savior – and this, indeed, could and did often lead to violence against Jews. But in the modern world, anti-Semitism changed…from a dismay to a hatred. And it became tinged with race – that is, Jews are not a religious but a racial group…and no matter how secular a Jew is, or even if a Jew converts, they don’t stop being Jews. This was the baleful ideology which was created by Gobineau, refined by Chamberlain and Schonerer and then wound up given full expression by Hitler. The crucial aspect of all this is that it was plain and simple stupid. Not supported by anything scientific nor the result of any logical chain of thought. It was just idiocy produced by losers to explain why they weren’t on top – later taken up by Hitler and his Nazis and carried out to the detriment of Germany’s own future. You’d think that Nazi defeat in 1945 would have killed it off completely, but it never did.
To be sure, it took decades to get it back on track – surviving Nazis worked long and hard at it, starting mostly in the Muslim world but always with footholds in the West. Everything carefully pitched to catch the ignorant and get them to believe. It is rising to a malignant cancer in the West these days because while the Nazis were lying, the West was destroying the West…that is the educational, religious and moral convictions which were always the strongest bulwark against vicious modern anti-Semitism.
And that brings me to the main point: the full purpose of the modern Left is to get people to be degraded. To be ignorant. Envious. Lazy. Greedy. To pretty much embrace all the cardinal sins and consider themselves superior for doing so. What this has done is make people, well, insane. We see it in a video I saw earlier – some woman was attending an 8th grade graduation and because her child wasn’t called up early on, she threw a temper tantrum. The lady probably knows nothing. I’d bet money that she’s only barely literate. To consider if she’d ever read a book of any sort is to be asking far too much. But she’s fat. Monetarily in good shape. And supremely confident that if things don’t work as she wants, she has a right to mess everything up for everyone else – she is also certain that if there is something wrong, it is the result of a shadowy conspiracy to prevent her from being on top. It is of such clay that our modern anti-Semites, BLM activists and Code Pink crazies are made of.
The problem we have isn’t just one particular type of evil. While it would be great if we could wave a magic wand and make all anti-Semitism instantly disappear, it wouldn’t help us long term – it wouldn’t save our civilization. If the people are still ignorant, lazy, greedy and nuts, then if one particular aspect of insanity is removed it doesn’t help. What we – the civilized – must decide is how long we’ll allow the barbarians to afflict us, and what means we’ll choose to convert them to our ways.
Because make no mistake about it, the barbarians – with rare exceptions – will not voluntarily give up their ways. Why should they? They can take and destroy and nobody stops them. The people starting a brawl in a fast food joint because they didn’t get enough nuggets in their order are never punished in any real way. Until they are, they will not change. We’re going to have to disenfranchise them and then let them know they are the social inferiors who must learn the ways of their betters. Or else. Don’t even for a moment think this is race-based. That is just another bit of drivel – in fact, the modern American racism owed a huge amount to Gobineau’s idiotic twaddle…it was seized upon by pro-slavery people in the USA and used as a justification to continue stealing the labor of black Americans. It isn’t about race – it is about being civilized or being barbarian. There are plenty of white Americans just as barbaric as any morons out there – and they, too, must be instructed in right conduct.
Such things as not being a drunkard. Staying employed. Keeping your house clean. Your yard maintained. Never even thinking for a moment that shoplifting is ok. Being respectful of others. Not picking fights with cops. Getting married. Staying married. Learning to read. All of that – and, as I said, they won’t voluntarily go to the wellsprings of decent behavior. They will have to be compelled. And if we do this, then all of the ills of our society will shrink to very manageable proportions…

Stupid people don’t know they are stupid and they are easily manipulated, which has led us right into this current day problem. This also is a result of what Amazona talks about all the time and that is the perceived moral high ground, which the stupid people have been convinced they occupy and of course more informed than any one else. Code Pinks recent trip to Cuba is the perfect example of this …. Bone deep stupid people who are convinced they are better than everyone else. I guess the only way to combat this is to offend people and hurt their feelings … they need to know they are stupid, no matter how hurtful that is. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is another good example … that man is scary stupid.
RE: anti semitism … something of which I equate to “white supremacy”, is tedious, antiquated, and boring. It’s the last bastion of the ignorant.
I’ve always advocated ridicule over arguing. Just making it clear that we think the opposition is stupid, repeated often enough, will make a few of them anyway start to feel foolish. One example might be repeating the adage: “People on the Left think people on the Right are evil: People on the Right just think people on the Left are stupid.”
Certainly an effort by a Dem to argue the “stupid” part would open the door to sooooo many examples.

As have I, which is ironic given that it’s a tactic directly out of the Left’s own playbook, Rules for Radicals. And the thing is, they’re so easy to ridicule. The meme’s often write themselves. And, as the Townhall article cluster linked to shows, they often just blurt the quiet part out loud. It’s like they have a death wish, which, I for one, am eager to help them fulfill.

I don’t hate Jews, and certainly don’t consider myself an antisemite, but I’ve always thought that the Israelis, certainly their leaders and especially their intelligence people, were a duplicitous bunch. I’ve never quite forgiven them for killing 34 of my fellow spooks and severely wounding 171 others including one who became a good friend two years later during their unprovoked attack on the USS Liberty during the Six Day War in 1967.
I’ve never heard an explanation for that attack, but I have always admired Israel and find it hard to believe they did not feel there was a reason for what they did. A lot of my admiration comes from the determination to hunt down and kill those responsible for the murder of the Olympics athletes. I am less offended by “duplicitous” from Israel than from other countries, given what they have had to deal with and the lengths to which they have had to go just to survive. I wonder if the facts about that attack will ever come out, as facts tend to do when enough time has passed.

Even after all these years I still don’t feel comfortable talking about what I know about the incident from the friend I mentioned.
Knowledge can be a burden. I accept that you know a lot you can’t talk about. I apply that to so much of what we see criticized about what our administration is doing—there is no way we can know the underlying facts and reasoning and calculations, nor should we.
Thune needs to grow a pair, end the filibuster, kick Schumer to the curb, and fund TSA. The next three years let’s just do exactly what we want and make sure Democrats have no say in it. If the tables were turned, they would do the same, and will do the same so we don’t seize control if this country now, we will lose it.
The delicacy of some of our Republicans really is annoying. The thing is, we never gain a thing by being so accommodating and going along with the pretense that this is necessary. It’s not a matter of give-and-take, it’s just “take”.
With the possible exception of a clever plan, the kind of thing Trump is known for—some hesitation, some “please don’t throw me in that there briar patch” fluttering and pretense of being dominated, and then what looks like a concession but really is no such thing because what appears to have been conceded is merely a piece of redundant legislation that still exists in another form and is still in effect, tucked away in another piece of legislation already passed and signed.
So it might not BE a concession, after all, to hem and haw and pretend to be pressured into giving up something important, to agree to drop funding IN THIS BILL, for the specific purpose of paying deportation costs, if that funding already exists somewhere else. In that case, we gain by forcing the Left to openly fight deportation, going on the record over and over again to defy the law, demanding that they repeatedly state their position of wanting illegal aliens to remain in the country. That is, we pretend to play tug-of-war till we get what we want, then let go of our end of the rope. Think: Lucy/football
Democrats just imploded. With the signing of the EO by Trump telling the DHS to pay TSA agents, the Senate Democrats finally voted to pass the DHS funding legislation. In Trumps brilliance, paying the TSA agent through an EO put the left in an absolute no win situation. If they attempted to fight the EO in court, the fallout from the voting American people, along with the AFGE – the largest government union the TSA agents belong to, would be immeasurable. The left got absolutely NOTHING for all of this chaos and posturing caused by this 40+ day fiasco. The optics of the whole absurdity was nothing less then Democrats favoring illegals of their own constituents. There was no way Trump was going to allow the left to handcuff ICE with absurd restrictions the left advocated in their attachments to pass the funding bill. It is spectacular to see how Trump is many steps ahead of the the left on so many fronts. I just saw a video of a large group of US Iranians cheering for Trump. Who would have thought that only months ago? The grace of God spared Trump from at least 2 assassination attempts, multiple attempts to jail him, and so many other obstruction efforts. His first term taught him, one cannot “work with” the left. Little did people know, during his absence from office prior to his 2nd term he masterfully prepared. The wins are stacking up in an unprecedented way never seen in any modern President. We are certainly NOT in a comfortable situation and so much more work needs to be done. I can’t see how the SAVE Act will not eventually pass, something absolutely needed to continue on the path of righteousness. May Gods grace continue to fall on this nation and by extension, the rest of the God fearing world.
It appears House speaker Mike Johnson is rejecting the Senate passed DHS bill and will instead, put forth a stopgap plan to fund the DHS for 60 days. While the Senate passed bill does provide funding for critical Homeland Security functions, it excludes funding for ICE and CPB. I’m unsure how this plays out considering the One Big Beautiful bill funds ICE through 2029. Regardless, I believe Trump’s EO would now provide paychecks for TSA agents.
Remember when Bidum administration tried to frame right-winged housewives, religious and MAGA people as domestic terrorist? How many times have we read, people wearing MAGA hats or t-shirts getting assaulted or being demanded to leave a business establishment like restaurants? It makes me wonder if we should now brand House and Senate members refusing to fund the DHS and by extension ICE & the CPB, as domestic terrorist. This horrific stunt has caused the longest lines at airport security check points – EVER, all while demanding absurd restriction on the very institutions long established to protect the US citizens. That sure seems to qualify as an act of terrorism. I’ve no doubt the international left is giddy over what the congressional left is doing. Anything that destroys the strength and sovereignty of the US is music to their ears. I wonder what percent of these congress critters are beyond stupid as opposed to those in the pockets of the evil entities intent on bringing the US down.
Florida governor DeSantis is talking about privatizing airport security and removing the government which is recklessly hamstrung by the left, intent to hold the TSA hostage for political gain. Given that government agencies tend to be bloated & inefficient on so many levels and private agencies tend to work far better and costs less, this seems like a good options
If the current credentialed class of the Democrat Party continues to have a voice, or God forbid, win the House in 26 … our country is over. They will quickly move to change districts, manipulate voting, open the borders, and seal themselves permanently into power. We all know it will happen, so now is our Delaware River moment.

It appears the combination of border security, ICE arrests and deportations, the removal of Maduro from Venezuela, bombing drug runner boats in the Caribbean, threats to Canada to lock down on illegal trafficking, record breaking confiscation and destruction of drugs in or entering the US, targeting precursors from China, placing a stranglehold on Cuba, along with other measures is making a significant impact on the financials of the cartels.

The Trump administration’s border crackdown is slowing the flow of deadly drugs into the country to the point that cartel profits have plummeted.
Border czar Tom Homan said during an appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday that President Donald Trump’s operation to go after the Mexican cartels has been successful, and that they are now focusing their drug operations on Europe and Asia.
Sara Carter, director of the National Drug Control Policy and a CPAC speaker, said that securing the U.S. border has meant fewer illegal immigrants and drugs, especially fentanyl.
“We’ve seen a decrease in fentanyl coming into our country of around 56 percent to 57 percent, which is phenomenal,” she said. “You’re holding China accountable and telling them we are watching the supply chain, and you will be responsible if we see more deaths in our country.”
Cutting at their money is the key – always has been. The process of trying to arrest the latest Drug Lord has always been a waste of time.
