Trump pretty much said what I’ve been saying – there is no actual government in Iran; just various factions striving for control. We, of course, want the faction that will deal with us to win…and my guess is that, for now, that faction is back door asking us to hold back – and so Trump has extended the ceasefire while still keeping up the blockade. This is because the faction which hates us the most is the one that needs money the most…that is, you can’t pay your goons without cold, hard cash.

I’ve been saying forever that you can’t take our enemies at face value. They don’t actually believe it. I mean, sure: there are always fools who can be suckered into believing just about anything. But those who call the tune never do. As Hitler’s armies approached Moscow in 1941 the whole Soviet leadership took off running…except for Stalin, and that because he knew if he fled he’d be killed almost immediately by the rest of the leaders. So much for being Communist stalwarts…they weren’t: they were sucking Russia dry to live better than the Czars and when it looked like the game was over, they ran (with sacks of money and fake identities). So, too, with the Nazi leadership. Most of it just took off running or, if cornered, killed itself. True believers would have crawled out of the rubble and insisted on having their say – proud of what they had done and ready to defend it against all comers. But what it did was Himmler…shave off the mustache, grab the fake ID (made months before because he knew it was over) and try to make to a cache of cash and gold so he could get the heck out of Dodge.

The fanatic faction in Iran is lead by men who know they have no way out – if there isn’t a Mullah regime under their control, then they’ve got nothing. No place to hide. No money, either. Nothing. So, might as well keep it up and hope for the best. But they will run for the hills if the end really does come…because they don’t believe it. Never have. It was just a rationale for obtaining money, power, what have you. This does make for a rocky ground for Trump to go over…but he also holds every last advantage. There is nothing Iran has that the world needs…it is even finding out that it doesn’t need Iranian oil. Time is very much on our side here.

Democrats managed to get their gerrymander through in Virginia – via mail in ballots which went +45 for the referendum in a State that looks like it went overall +4 for it…meaning that without those sacks of mail in ballots, the measure would have gone down to flaming defeat. And, of course, the Democrats held back their reporting until the rest of the State was in…because they weren’t sure just how many votes they’d need. Trump’s DOJ should open an investigation into it – I’m sure it is rotten to the core. But it is also going to spur Florida to just take those seats away.

Meanwhile, we simply must win 2028 so that we have control of the 2030 census. An honest census is going to lock Democrats out of the House and the Electoral College for a generation. It is the win it all election. For both sides.

Trump’s DOJ indicted members of the racist hate group, SPLC. And about time. But what is coming out is what we suspected all along – the SPLC was paying for “racist right wingers”. The Charlottesville protest was their op…and we’re now all betting that most of the BLM/Antifa actions were bankrolled the same way. And there’s more than an even money chance that this is how the J6 riots originated.

The Mets are now 0-12 since Mamdani gave their mascot a hug. And 45-71 since the raised the Pride flag at the start of a game last season.

Something, something about not being mocked…

This is something I never thought I’d live long enough to see.

Thank God. And based on various comments from Vance, there will finally be charges against other entities & individuals who’ve benefited greatly from their illegal activities. Can’t happen too soon.

It can’t be overestimated how much organizations like the SPLC have poisoned American politics. They are, indeed, staffed up to the neck with Communists who hate America. Always have been. Their purpose is never their stated name – it is always to erode American institutions, demoralize the American people and usher in our destruction as precursor to our replacement by something else – something not American. That Trump is going after them is crucial to our survival…and shows us, once again, that we must win in 2028. The life of our nation will hang in the balance on that election.

But let’s not stop peeling back the layers of the disintegration of America once we get to the SPLC—we have to go back to the federalization of education. That is, establishing a federal agency to ensure that an approved Leftist narrative be fed to every student in public education for generations, with the specific goal of undermining the entire American government concept.

Even given the success of this agenda, and the fact that the vast majority of Americans younger than 70 or so have never even been exposed to teachings of the true history of the United States, its inspiration and its successes, there are still a majority of Americans who reject the Left. We should take heart from that, but what we should really be doing is methodically exposing the entire nation to the true narrative of American greatness.

We stumble and fumble around, mixing Identity Politics with partial political truths, and we count on imagery (like the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico, or the Department of Defense) and bits and pieces of references to the underlying inspiration and structure of our founding.

If my dad’s instructions on how to drive a stick shift had been as muddled and unfocused as the communication narratives of the Right in this country I’d still be a slave to automatic transmissions.

Isn’t there SOMEONE who could start a pattern of educating Americans on our own country? We are skating by, with tiny and vulnerable majorities, granted by a lot of people who are just acting on instinct instead of grounded, factual, information that supports their inclinations. I’m just convinced that a series of coherent, entertaining, lessons not just on WHAT we stand for but WHY, would swing a lot of those squishy “independents” who instinctively reject Democrats but wobble when it comes to committing to the Right because they just don’t have a foundation to work from.

Even a really smart guy like Alan Dershowitz, who just declared that he is becoming a Republican, is giving reasons that are based, as far as I can tell, on cultural and identity politics, not on actual POLITICS. He says: “I still disagree strongly with the GOP on abortion, the separation of church and state, immigration, healthcare and taxes, among other things. Yet I’ve decided to bite the bullet and register as a Republican.”

Look at that statement. It is all emotion. He identifies the Republican Party, and by extension his “conversion”, solely on cultural and social ISSUES without a word about a decision to support restricting the size, scope and power of the federal government to its Constitutional limits instead of enabling ongoing extra-Constitutional expansion of that authority to continue to feed into a Central Authority of consolidated power.

He’s got a voice. He’s got a presence. He’s got an image. And instead of using it productively to educate Americans on what really matters, he mumbles on about ISSUES. SMH in mounting despair.

It’s a rather lengthy debate, but it does a good job of explaining the left / right disconnect. A while back, we used to perceive our political engagements as a society of 2 different parties wanting the same thing but with different views on how to get there. It’s quite obvious current views are drastically different with a struggle for power to shut down the “opposition” and impose only your views.

If the Dems hadn’t stopped counting the votes as soon as they had enough to win in the special redistricting election in Virginia, the Judge’s order to vacate the election would have happened before the last vote was counted. Not something you see very often; that’s how egregious the Dem’s actions were. As usual, Jeff Childers’ description of the process is priceless.

Yesterday, Law Commentary ran a terrific story headlined, “Judge Strikes Down Virginia Redistricting Amendment, Voids Special Election Results.” The New York Times completely ignored this development, instead running a front-page story headlined, “How ‘Yes’ Won a Narrow Victory in Virginia’s Redistricting Battle.” It did not mention the judicial loss at all. Don’t begrudge them; they wanted to stretch out their narrative a little longer before grappling with reality.

It happened fast. Really fast. Tazewell County Circuit Judge Jack Hurley’s order was issued within a business day of the election, and within hours after the vote was final. He ordered the Commissioner of Elections not to certify the results of the state’s widely reported redistricting race— a race that would have handed Democrats over 90% of Virginia’s congressional seats even though nearly 40% of the state’s residents are registered with the GOP.

The proposed new map has been both praised and mocked for its marvelous “creativity.” Despite all that creative line-drawing, it barely “won” by only three points. In other words, they stopped counting after they got the win.

Tuesday’s ballot referendum asked voters to approve the redistricting bill —a constitutional amendment— while describing its legal effect as “restoring fairness.” I did not make that up. It could have more accurately said “to eliminate all but one Republican congressional district,” but Democrats went with the equivalent of “free Ozempic.” This violated a Virginia constitutional requirement that proposed amendments “accurately describe” their effect, which was just one of the seven things Judge Hurley found illegal.

Judge Hurley also found that the law placing the amendment on the ballot violated various clear rules in the Virginia Constitution, so he struck it down and blocked the election results from having any effect. He called the bill’s “restoring fairness” description “flagrantly misleading.” He said the bill was rushed, violating a constitutional requirement of at least 90 days between passing a bill and holding an election on it. It also broke a rule requiring amendments to wait for the next House general election— which won’t happen in Virginia until 2027. It also broke a rule requiring amendments to be limited to a single issue.

The vote itself was characteristically hinky, although no trad-media was brave enough to mention it. Independent analysts reported that the redistricting surged into first place during late-night mail-in ballot counting, featuring yet another statistical anomoly in which 73% of ballots oddly went “yes”— even though the in-person electorate only ran around 45% yes.

More oddly, there were three distinct “f-shaped” surges throughout the night’s counting in a single county, which rescued the failing bill and then barely nudged redistricting approval over the top— what the Times blandly called “a narrow victory”:

    image 2.png

Is it just me, or do these late-night f-shaped surges always go the same direction?

Yep – they cheated; no doubt about it.

But even with the cheat, Virginia moved 3-4 points to the Right since 2024. This in a State trending Blue. With Democrats massively outspending Republicans. With the entire MSM saying “Yes” was the only thing a decent person could do. If the GOP had just put a couple million into it, even cheating wouldn’t have got it done for the Democrats.

They’re trying to tell us this is a D+5 environment. And my goodness they have poll after poll after poll “proving” it. But the facts on the ground are not sustaining the Blue Wave they tell us is coming. Not even slightly. And, in fact, this might turn out to be a Dummymander for the Democrats…they had to dilute some deep Blue districts to get their 10-1 result. If this isn’t a Blue wave, then what would have been a 7-3 Democrat result might end up 6-4…or even 5-5.
