Goodbye, Dolly! Passed away at 80 – and one of the few remaining universally beloved people in the USA. I figure she leaned a bit Left, but she never made a thing about it…and that is the key to keeping that universal love. Of course, maybe if she was younger it would have proven impossible? These days, just to keep your gigs coming, immense pressure is brought to bear on you to toe the Leftist line. By the time that came in about 25 years ago, Dolly was so established she could just ignore such things, had anyone attempted such pressure on her. We probably can’t have anything universal across American culture any longer – and until we destroy the Left, that is how it shall be. For goodness sake, the Left pitched a fit about America 250 just last month.
The economic pressure being put on Iran is immense and destructive. We’ll see if it works – that is, will it convince the Iranian people (cowards, for the most part) to rise up? They don’t want freedom – they’ve made that clear by supinely allowing themselves to abused by dirty-necked Islamists for decades. But they might be just materialist enough to want their stuff…said stuff now being denied by the US blockade. We shall see. If it doesn’t work, then I suspect it will be bombs away for one more sustained campaign to cripple Iran for a generation.
Trump is also upping the pressure on Canada – which has been getting a free ride since WWII. They have had essentially free access to the American market while carefully protecting their own from us. Now they are saying they’ll let China use Canada as a means of getting around our tariffs on China. Screw them. Nothing against those Canadians who are what I’m now calling Old Canada – allies in two world wars and great people all around. But New Canada is filled with Leftist bigotry and hatred…stupidity as well. We do not need a thing from Canada while their economy collapses without access to our market. Either conform yourselves to our desires or go jump in a lake.
Trump is set to revoke the visas of 200,000 people who are here on business or tourism visas but are claiming asylum. Think about that – they were able to get visas to come to the USA but are now claiming asylum status. Just insane we let this sort of nonsense go on. If you can get a visa, you’re probably not oppressed. Asylum is for people who will die if they don’t get out of their home country…and you get asylum in the first country you can. Essentially, asylum and TPS have been used – by Republicans and Democrats – to back-door amnesty. It is good that Trump is ending this but it can also be un-ended by his successor. We need laws clearly laying out asylum. I mean very specific…actually listing social categories of people and countries of origin we’ll accept asylum applicants from (like, say, a gay person from Iran, Christian from Pakistan, white person from South Africa). If you don’t meet one of the legislatively decreed categories then you can’t even try. We also need to change the laws so that asylum is not a fast track to a green card. It is your life that is at stake – you just need a place to hide from those trying to kill you. We’ll forward you to some other country if at all possible…if you get asylum here, you’re in some sort of holding camp until you find a country to emigrate to or are able to return home.

Looks like the Dems are going to attempt another virus scare right before the mid-terms using a couple of “Measles-related” deaths in Pennsylvania. Both Jeff Childers and Robert Malone covered it this morning.
The dishonesty and deceit of the Dems coupled with the complicity of the agenda media seems to know no bounds. Nice try Donkeys. Not going to work a second time.
They can try but it will likely backfire. First, they don’t control the Presidency, or either house of congress. Second and more important, Trump’s new EO requires every state to send the USPS their voter rolls beforehand where mail-in ballots are to be used so the USPS can cross reference them against federal data bases and assign a unique bar code identification to help ensure only legal residents receive mail-in ballots, something leftist states are highly resisting. Another pandemic scare attempt intending to push voters to use mail-in votes will only shine a light on fraud attempts and the horrific state of voter rolls used in previous elections.
With the Justice Department plans to deploy 1,000 election monitors and Trump’s efforts to shut down mail-in fraud, the left will have a far more difficult time rigging the elections. After the midterms, should the right retain both houses of congress, Trump will work to pass the SAVE America act, solidifying means to eliminate fraud.
Outside of that, the left is starting to implode with the DSA making inroads into the party and the more centrist Democrats resisting, even to the point where they’ve publicly stated they will not vote for those candidates. Think about this… many of the DSA are even labeling AOC as too much of a centrist and not in line with their values.
My bet is that they pull out all the stops between now and election day. They’re in panic mode now, as they see the possibility of a generational loss of power, and I wouldn’t put ANYTHING past them.
It seems like a variety of changes the will affect the upcoming mid-term.
First, states redistricting is indicating positive wins for the right. Projections have indicated somewhere between 10-14 seats the right will gain in the house, and by default the left will lose. That’s a 20-28 seat swing.
Second, the new mail-in rules will have a huge impact eliminating numerous illegal votes including, factitious people, illegal migrants, dead people, out-of-state people and others from casting votes.
Third, the right has significant cash on hand, far more than the left which has been said to be struggling financially even with donors like Soros. Republicans and associated PAC’s intend to infuse cash into battle ground elections. With certain seats apparently locked up, big money will be spent on the few remaining toss-ups.
Forth, the DHS intends to use some 1,000 election monitors this election. This will significantly diminish the late-night shenanigans where poll watchers are sent home and trucks of new ballots materialize with widely skewed results. Plus, an army of lawyers will be available to deal with election disputes.
Fifth, it seems there’s been a wave of voter party designation changes that are moving away from the left toward the right. It’ll be interesting to see what this looks like on the upcoming election.
Sixth, the Republicans are planning a huge mid-term election convention in Dallas Texas this year around Sept. 9-11, where they will boost support, honor the anniversary of the assignation of Charlie Kirk, and give remembrance to 9-11, among other things. This is something never done before on this scale. They will highlight every 80-20 issue, blasting the destructive choices of the left, magnifying the absurd leftist indefensible responses and further boxing them into a corner. This cannot be understated enough.
Seventh, armies of people are working on get-out-the-vote to boost right side voter participation. This was employed in the 2024 election and had a notable impact.
Eighth, the lefts previous unity is fracturing where the party extremes are staking out policies that even moderate Democrats can’t stomach. A rather large chunk of the party is pushing totally unworkable ideologies that will visibly harm multitudes of people and by extension, the USA. Sources outside the US have infiltrated positions of influences where they are attempting to push the US into collapse. This is the only logical conclusion of the years of destructive policies the left has embraced, something they either didn’t initially realize would happen or didn’t care as they got whatever carrot they were chasing.
And that doesn’t even take into account that Trump could declare a national emergency on the elections to further tighten the mail-in ballot control among other things and there’s absolutely nothing congress or the courts can do about it, short of a 2/3’s veto by congress. Good luck with that.
The Flyover this morning has an interesting chart matching the GDP of each of our 50 states (yes Barack, it’s 50, not 57) with a country. Dovetailing with your comment that we don’t need Canada, their GDP is equal to the state of New York. And three fourths of their exports are to the US which makes up nearly a quarter of their entire economy.
One of the real problems of the post-WWII world has been treating small powers as if they were the same as great powers. There was a war in the Balkans in 1913 and, unlike in 1914, the Great Powers of Europe managed to control the outbreak and settle the conflict. One of the bones of contention was what to do with the former Turkish province of Albania – who got it? Albanians, themselves? Serbia? Edward Grey, Foreign Minister of Britain, commented after it was over words to the effect of “well, we’ve reached an agreement acceptable to Austria and to Russia. It might also be acceptable to Albania.” He didn’t care what the Albanians actually thought – it didn’t matter. They were going to do as they were told because they had no choice.
Cruel? Perhaps a bit. But reality.
Canada only exists at the sufferance of the USA. Been that way, actually, since the mid-19th century. At no time after 1850 or so could the Canadians – even with the protection they had from the British Empire at the time – stopped us from taking over. They are simply outweighed in every category…and right next to us. And this is all fine. We’re not a power any longer interested in Manifest Destiny. But the power relationship remains the same – we’re overwhelming, Canada is a negligible quantity. They can benefit greatly from this – as long as they remember their place. Shielded by us almost as an afterthought, they can remain free and prosperous…but a poison had taken hold in Canada. A quasi-Communist, anti-human and very much anti-Canadian poison. The Ruling Class of Canada is in love with petty tyranny and death – which is why they feel affinity to the Chinese rulers. But we can’t allow Canada to become a tool of China…and we won’t allow it, in the end.
Carney is not all that different than other communist / socialist country leaders. His bloviating is nothing more than an attempt to rile Canadians emotions in order to strengthen his power in the upcoming elections, before the fallout of his policies become evident to Canadian citizens. By the time they fall into buyers remorse, the damage will already be done and they will have little choice to free themselves short of segregating like Alberta is working on. And with greater political power Carney will make that option even more difficult than it already is.

The measles is not some new unheard of disease that will cause untold deaths. Nearly all children got it before the age of 15 prior to the vaccine becoming available in 1963. It is estimated 3 to 4 million people in the United States were infected each year. While some died due to the affliction, many of which were compromised with other complications, this is not something that would send the masses into a shock wave of fear.
They are doing everything they can to revive 2020. Won’t work – nobody cares. Plus, the polls are bogus, the GOP has money, the Democrats have they/them.
The GOP has money, yes. What is interesting is where they are putting it. Republican groups are starting to put a lot of money into the senate races in Arkansas, Kansas, and Montana. States that have been solidly R for some time. The Iran war is very unpopular and the continued high gas prices and over all inflation are eroding republican support throughout the country. And yes, most Democrats suck, just not as bad as Republicans.
