Purge, or Liberation?

As the social media purge of all dissent continues, I posted on Twitter the Rules for On Line Life. They are proving popular. Most are just common sense: the crucial thing is to move to new media and don’t say or do stupid things.

I’ll be terminating my Twitter and Facebook accounts as soon at the other social media platforms have got themselves back up and running smoothly (for Parler, that might be a couple weeks as Amazon axed their servers because Parler refused to censor). If you do social media, you’ll be able to find me at Gab (@ Mark_N_Author) Parler (@ MarkENoonan) and CloutHub (@ Mark_Author). I’m also on this thing called Rumble (MarkNoonanAuthor) which I guess is a sort of replacement You Tube. I’m not quite sure the Purge is working out as planned – what is happening is that the Right is now dispersing to smaller, harder to track platforms which are going to be increasingly out of the reach of the Tech Giants. This is good for us, bad for them.

As for me, I’m glad to be saying goodbye to the Tech Giants. I’ll probably have more time for writing and other things that I actually enjoy. Most importantly, I won’t be on their platforms making them money while also essentially having a permanent spy trying to find something to destroy me over.

I got a Parler account. It advertises itself as the alternative to the left social media giants – we’ll see how it goes; a few teething problems as masses of people sign up, but it works pretty well and may do fine.

As more information comes out about the Mueller Report, it seems clear to me that it is a pack of malicious lies. I noted before it came out that it would be as lurid as possible, but also wouldn’t have anything on Trump, and that is proving correct. What is amazing, though, is how badly they constructed the lurid lies: they’re being easily knocked down, one after another. Ace – and others – have theorized that the report, itself, was meant as no more than a hook to hang Trump on. Make the report; turn it in; make it difficult for Barr to release it quickly and then selectively leak the lurid bits to build a public case that Trump has to go. Barr stopped that cold with his summary pointing out that there was no collusion or obstruction.

As for Barr, I suspect he’s further along in his efforts to find out what really happened than we think. What will come of it? I don’t know: it could be that some of the worst players in all this kept their hands legally clean…and to really unravel it we would need people willing to testify against their co-conspirators in return for reduced sentences…but, if the big boys kept their act together, we might only be able to go after some small fry who won’t be able to explain the totality of the coup attempt. I do hope that a lot of people wind up in jail over this – but I’m not sure it will be possible.

There’s a poll out which asserts Americans are more worried about Fake News than terrorism – which is a correct assessment. Terrorists can kill, but the lies in our MSM could trigger a nation-destroying civil war. 100% of the credit for people really waking up to how dishonest the MSM is goes to Trump…without him relentlessly hammering the MSM for their lies, they’d still largely be getting away with them.

RSM notes an anti-lesbian hate crime in Tennessee which, for some bizarre reason, hasn’t become a national news story. Watch the video, and you’ll see why.

Here’s a poll which is part of the Democrats’ battle space prep for 2020: allegedly shows Biden beating Trump in Texas by four percentage points. Trump beat Hillary by nine percentage points in 2016. Ask yourself: is there one thing – one thing, at all – which has Trump has done since 2016 which would make Texans sour on him to the point that the Texas vote for the Democrat would go from 43% to 48%? Of course there is no such thing – and the Texas economy is booming. There is zero – and I mean absolutely zero – chance that any Democrat beats Trump in Texas in 2020. And everyone involved in politics knows this. But, here’s the poll…and Democrats will tout it and GOPers in Texas (some, anyways) will wring their hands…but it is a garbage poll designed to deflate GOP spirits; that is all it is.

New York City is, like Los Angeles, developing a very bad rat problem. All part of the Progressive program to bring back bubonic plagues.

AOC asserts that Manafort should be released rather than kept in solitary at Rikers. Tip of the hat to the Commie on this one: she’s better, at least here, than most of her fellow Progressives. The bottom line is that Manafort was transferred to Rikers to pressure him. The Democrats need someone – anyone – to testify under oath that Trump broke a law. Treating Manafort like he’s some sort of crazed killer is an excellent way to break him. Trump should pardon Manafort (of course, another theory put out there is that they’ve done this to get Trump to issue a pardon so they can say “aha! That’s why Manfort didn’t talk!”. Even so: pardon him).

Its been busy the last few days. Lots of stuff happening. Let’s take a glance:

California is considering a tax on texting.

No, really. They are.

Congressman Ted Lieu (D-People’s Republic of California) wants to ban free speech.

No, I’m not kidding.

Trump cancels the White House Christmas party for the press. Seriously: would you want to hang out with them for a couple hours? Could you be polite to people who know are not merely stupid, but wicked?

Mueller’s office scrubbed the cell phones of Strzok and Page. Why would he do that except to cover up crimes? The only question I have: did Mueller know about the crimes before they happened? Mueller is a corrupt, Deep State hack and his real purpose is to cover up the crimes – he’d like to get Trump, too; but he’s far more set upon making sure no one finds out how this Trump/Russia thing got started.

We’re pulling out of the INF nuclear weapons treaty because the Russians are breaking it. They’ve been breaking it for a while, of course, but only Trump – the Russian stooge – has had the guts to do anything about it. More and more, you really start to wonder if Trump’s critics are stupid, or just too embarrassed to admit they were wrong?

Netanyahu points out that the Khashoggi killing is horrible, but given the realities of the Middle East, better to let it slide. This is all that really needs be said of the matter – the ME is a binary choice between Iranian dominance and no Iranian dominance. Pick which result you want and act accordingly.

The defense being offered for the FBI entrapping Flynn is that they do it all the time. I don’t think the FBI’s defenders realize how bad that sounds.

Study indicates that millennial men are kinda, well, weak. My view: this is the result of so many men being raised in female-headed households. And, don’t get me wrong, there might be a little upside in here as it is good that men care more about others…but, on the other hand, we still need someone to change tires and carry a rifle from time to time.

Trump is going to cut funds for UN peacekeeping missions in Africa. This is good. First off, it treats the Africans like children who can’t manage their own affairs. I, for one, think they are fully capable of settling matters on their own – and only if they directly ask us for assistance do I think we should offer them any. Secondly, UN peacekeepers are, well, kinda creepy.

Gary Sinise continues to prove he’s one heck of a good guy.

Keith Richards says he’s giving up drinking. Now the guy will live to 120.

Boy Scouts face bankruptcy.

Twitter users start to switch to Parler to get away from Twitter’s rather Maoist actions. Gab tried to be the alternative to Twitter, but it really hasn’t taken off. The cool thing about Twitter is that when you follow a few hundred people, you start to get a TL that is constantly updating…you’re getting, news, jokes, remarks, links coming at you in rapid succession. Gab just gets people posting one or two things a day…and it became heavily infested with genuine Nazis which were disgusting to come across. I’m still on it, but only a few times a day. We’ll see if Parler pans out. Something will eventually replace Twitter and Facebook…because no one wants to be on a site where you have to worry about what you say.
