Obama, Zimmerman and Being Despicable

I hadn’t been commenting much over the past week as I was up in the Reno area visiting with family – but I did catch Obama’s comments on the Zimmerman case and they finally sank Obama down to “despicable” in my view.

Think about this – logic and facts are all on Zimmerman’s side.  Polling shows a strong plurality of the American people believe the verdict was correct.  In the case, before a female judge, an all-woman jury determined that a Latino was innocent in the death of a black man – and yet for our liberals, this case is proof of white racism (and if you dig down deeper in liberal rhetoric, its about straight, white male racism, etc).  There are already people calling for violence.  Efforts are being made by the Justice Department to railroad Zimmerman on a civil rights charge.  And here comes our President – to calm the fires?  To appeal to reason?  To stoutly and without equivocation defend the jury verdict, upon which all our liberties actually depend?  No.  He comes along to put himself back on center stage and by claiming that he thinks Travyon is Obama 35 years ago, to fan the flames of race hatred.

I don’t know what really motivates Obama – and I don’t care.  He’s a despicable person in his ACTIONS (please note, I am not judging his soul, just what he says and does).  He is ruining this nation – he’s a political thug.  He’s a corrupt wheeler-dealer.  He’s an utter fool in foreign and defense affairs.  The only thing we can do is just endure this until January 20, 2017 and then attempt to undo as much of Obama as we can.

Mark, there are several levels of wrong in this issue.

The first and most obvious is the discarding of the maxim of “innocent until proven guilty”. This is a fundamental aspect of American law, yet it was tossed aside by the mob. Before any evidence was forthcoming, before any testimony was heard, before any facts were made public, the mob decided that Zimmerman was guilty.

They not only passed judgment on his guilt, they sentenced him as well, often to death.

To see this kind of thing happen in our country was frightening. To see it supported, aided, and promoted by the highest levels of our government is terrifying. It is a statement that this administration has officially dismissed the rule of law in this country, in favor of mob rule, and this cannot be overlooked.

The Executive Branch did not just look the other way when the mobs started to howl, as it did when Holder decided it was OK for the NBP to offer to pay someone to kill Zimmerman. No, it became a part of the mob, it fed the mob with press conferences and commentary.

And the Complicit Agenda Media have never been more complicit than they have been in this, from NBC’s shameful editing of the Zimmerman call (which is still being referred to as a 911 call, though it was not) to the various “news” stories which are so shamefully lacking in fact or objectivity they are a disgrace.

The State Attorney for Florida really SHOULD be disbarred. Her antics were beyond reprehensible, and violations of the basic expectations of public officials and lawyers. Her misdeeds were matched only by the low-life prosecutors, who stooped lower than I have ever seen any courtroom advocate, for either side, ever stoop. This was a case of prosecutorial misconduct from the state level on down.

Then there is the ignorance of our other laws. I heard a fairly articulate black woman emoting at length and at great volume on a national talk show, insisting that our legal system allows appeals of verdicts with which people do not agree. She sounded well educated, but she is ignorant of that aspect of law she was trying to cite.

When a verdict is appealed, and the appeal is heard, it is not heard on the merits of the case. Appeals are heard only on the procedure of the original trial or hearing. That is, evidence is not revisited, and testimony is not heard. What is evaluated on appeal is merely the properness of the procedure, so the decisions and actions of the judge are being evaluated, not the merits of the case itself.

Do the mobs care? Of course not. All they want is their way, justice and law be damned, and they have the Executive Branch of the United States government and most of the media—print, radio, and TV—-egging them on and feeding them with lies and hysteria to keep them energized.

The Mooch may have whined that it took her hubby being nominated to run for the presidency to make her proud, finally, of this country. Well, it took electing him and then tolerating his participation in the dismantling of the precepts that once made this country great to make me ashamed of it.

      Ama

People are waking up from this nightmare, One of my sons who lives in the city borrowed one of my .45 pistols and is shopping for a shot gun in light of all the threats, My oldest son bought a .45 two days ago.
One of my friends who is so so liberal but is married to a flaming liberal was asking me how to get a CCW and best place to buy a pistol. People are past nervous they are fed up with all this lunacy and are arming up in unprecedented numbers.

Great. But do they understand that their ignorance of the foundational governance of our country and their mindless Liberalism set this up in the first place?

We can’t keep blaming the politicians—-we need to look at who put them where they are, gave them the power they are wielding, and support them no matter what.

I would say yes, they never had to confront this reality close up and personal before but more and more they are becoming very aware. I am the only one in my family that is really political but they are seeing that the “crazy old man” might have been right all along.

neo, you might ask your lib friend why he would even want a CCW permit now that he knows if he uses his weapon to defend himself he will have to first evaluate the intent of his attacker, the race of the attacker, the age of the attacker, the motive of the attacker, and the possibility the attacker will stop before seriously injuring or killing him—–and then be ready to defend his decision because there will be howling mobs screaming in the streets that that he was not really in all that much danger after all so now he is a MURDERER.

Now that the Executive Branch has taken it upon itself to ignore the law, ignore the conclusions of its own investigators, ignore logic and common sense, and actively participate in second-guessing a self-defense action (and verdict) it seems that one is in almost as much danger by defending himself as he would be by simply allowing himself to be attacked.

The ignorance of the left is as astounding as their arrogance, greed and spite. But, for Obama and Co, this is a complete success – they used Trayvon’s death to gin up support for 2012 and they can now use his death, again, to gin up support for 2014 (they do tremble a bit at the prospect of losing the Senate – its a high hill for the GOP to climb, but it can be done). The thing which is really burning me up is how it is so abundantly clear that our liberals – from Obama on down – simply don’t care what happens to actual, flesh and blood human beings. And the poorer and darker skinned the human being, the less they care. They say that if Trayvon had been white or Zimmerman black, we’d all be different on it…I point out that if Zimmerman had been a Hollywood liberal, they’d be singing a different tune…even if Zimmerman had been actually white.

This whole thing was manufactured – we know, for instance, that Holder sent down government-paid agitators to stir up mobs…and we’re supposed to believe it was some low-level NBC employee, acting entirely on his own, who edited the Zimmerman phone call. I call BS on that. I’m a low-level employee at my corporation and I won’t stray from policy without getting at least some sort of sign off from higher management. Its my job, if I don’t. I doubt much that NBC policy is “lie if you think it’ll work”. Someone ordered that editing from on high – and the question to ask is “who benefits?”. Well, Obama and the Democrats benefited.

I suggest taking a few minutes to learn the reality of Bastille Day to see an object lesson in what we can expect here if this kind of mob mentality is encouraged and then allowed to free rein.

Right of Self Defense 1, Obama 0
      By Jonathon Moseley

Destroying the Second Amendment and the people’s right of self-defense was the real goal of the George Zimmerman prosecution. Liberals hoped to scare gun owners, regardless of the eventual verdict. Traumatizing and intimidating people from using a firearm to defend themselves were what this case was really about.

This prosecution was an attempt to overturn Florida’s “stand your ground law.” Florida dramatically changed the law effective October 1, 2005 by amending Florida Statute 776.013(3). Previously, one had to run away if possible when threatened.

I suggest it was a two-fer: an attack on the 2nd Amendment and a chance to create even more divisiveness, distrust and outright hatred in this country, all of which are mother’s milk to the Left.

The Left is impotent in a sane, rational, educated nation. There is a reason they have worked so hard to make this the opposite, in every way.

I know and am good friends with several Hispanics, this has been a real eye opener to them they are in the most part (semi) conservative but in light of this debacle are beginning to think of blacks and democrats as their enemy………could be a blessing for America in disguise.

I feel bad for the generations of black people who fought so hard and gave up so much to achieve equality and a colorblind society, only to have it destroyed in one generation—in one decade.

In a way, I guess most of the black people in the United States deserve this erosion of respect and acceptance, because the first time they had a chance they voted based on color, and have acted based on color ever since. The Reverend Mister King must be hanging his head in shame, as he sees character dismissed as insignificant and color of skin being the only thing that matters to the race he gave his life to bring forward into equality.

Armed neighborhood watch, a black man, kills white 17 year old child…..
Remember the KKK offering a reward for his head?
Remember the demands for ” “justice” for Christopher!” screw the fair trial and jury verdict?
Remember replacing investigators and prosecutors (after finding no credible evidence to support the claims of racial motivated crime?
Remember the Justice Department using taxpayer dollars to organize protests against the verdict?
Remember the Justice Department charging the murderer with civil rights violations?
Remember the riots as a result?
Remember the pResident telling politicians to “butt out” and inserting himself into the center?
Remember the proggy claims of “cheapening the childs death” by pointing out other violence and murders of same aged children by others of the same race?
Remember the white race pimps who tried to capitalize financially in the name of “justice” (though this would not cheapen the child’s death)?
Remember the mother trying to trademark his name – this would not cheapen his death either?

oh wait! The silence was deafening!
More progressive politics, hypocrisy and pathetic race baiting to keep the populace divided. A divided populace serves their needs and distracts from the failures and corruption of the progressive party.

And even these overzealous prosecutors did not lower themselves into the race gutter and claim that the shooting was racially motivated.

Barry might have stepped up and publicly identified with the black man in this case, doncha think?
