Robert Stacy McCain offers some sage advice for any young men out there seeking female companionship.

I’ll add a small note: I definitely fall into the bottom 15% (read it, you’ll understand), but if there are any youngsters out there reading this, I’ll double down on McCain’s advice about having a self-deprecating sense of humor. It is very useful! When you really do it right, a lady will think you’re charming. That goes a long way.

Seal the deal by learning how to cook.

Democrats are already lining up to run against Trump. Illustrative of how this will go is Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI). She’s as liberal as the day is long but deep in her background was a time when she wasn’t full-blown liberal. Because of these past heresies, she’s being mercilessly savaged in the liberal world. Mark my words: for 2020, the left – which controls who gets the Democrat nomination – will not settle for anything less than an Absolute Not Trump. Their nominee will have to sign off on the very latest iteration of whatever it is the left is hating Trump about, no matter how obscure or silly it is. If someone on the left makes an accusation against Trump, everyone who wants to be the Democrat nominee will have to subscribe to it. It’ll get really interesting.

In re the Wall and Shutdown, Don Surber notes that Trump Hatred has trapped the Democrats – they hate him so much they are fighting over an amount of money that is so small, it works out to a rounding error. Earlier, I happened to overhear someone conversing with another about the mess – the person doing most of the talking was apparently married to a furloughed worker and went on and on and on about what a bad man Trump was, how stupid the wall was, blah, blah, blah. What was remarkable, to me, was that the other party – while clearly having no love for Trump – kept pushing back and insisting that the wall was necessary because the border does have to be controlled. I think we’re seeing that dynamic play out nationwide: the Democrats just keep repeating their talking points, but it is blowing right past non-Democrats because everyone can see the fight is about nearly nothing and, what the heck, why not build the wall? I think Trump will win this – only a craven surrender by the Senate GOP could derail us, and I don’t think Cocaine Mitch is in the mood to surrender.

It’s a poll from a Libertarian outfit (and, so, probably skewed anti-war), but it shows that the American people largely back Trump’s withdrawal from Syria. I’d have to look it up for how long ago I wanted us to withdraw from the Middle East, entirely: but it was a while back ago. Long before Trump. I did, of course, back the war in Iraq but I thought at the time – given Bush’s “axis of evil” bit – that it was a mere precursor to war with the actual source of the Middle East problem: Iran. I would have had it – Iraq, then Syria/Lebanon…and, then, if Iran hadn’t collapse, on to Tehran to finish the job. A swift moving series of military actions, with no fussing about nation building (I’d prefer we just find local strongmen and let them rule the locals, backed by our force), would have rocked the enemy on his heels and, also, prevented an anti-war left from really coalescing. Bush decided to do it differently, likely on the advice of people at State and Defense. I don’t think the American people are anti-war, as such, but they are anti-war-forever. They are anti-no-victory. They are anti-wasting-time-and-lives. If we go to war, we should go all the way. And if we can’t see our way to that, we should just stay home.

The longer the Trump shutdown lasts, the more Trump and Republicans are being blamed for it. Ever bill that the house passes trying to reopen the government has more Republicans signing on. There are at least 5 or 6 Republican senators who are pushing to end the shutdown.

People like you need to agree to protect American families rather than pander to “open border advocates” and look the other way while Americans die from illegal immigrants or the drugs that flow across the border. So I guess our appeal is to people like you to please have a sense of humanity and just a little bit of decency and protect American children and families.

unfortunately people like you only care about politics and power. We get it.

I’ve never met anybody who advocates for open borders, nor do I know of any Democratic leaders who advocate open borders. Democrats at this point are pushing for more border security, not less. That doesn’t include a vanity wall for Trump. So tell me how not paying hundreds of thousands of Americans makes us safer or solves any of the problems you list.

Oh, really? You need to pay more attention. They may not use those exact words, but when they advocate for letting in anyone accompanied by a child (and fight against the procedures for determining if the adult is a parent or legal guardian of the child or just dragged it along to meet Obama’s “bring a kid, get a pass” scheme, not caring if the poor innocent child will be dumped once the adult is across the border to be a starving street kid or more likely picked up to be part of the sex slave trade) and want to abolish the agency responsible for enforcement of immigration laws and support and pay for huge caravans of people openly determined to swarm our borders and even engage in violence to do so, it is hard to see any of this as anything BUT advocating for open borders.

Democrats at this point are pushing for more border security, not less. See above. More lip service paid to border security, for the time being, maybe. But not for tightening requirements for crossing, not for enforcement of laws, not for changing the policy of “bring a kid, get a pass” and its associated abuses of children. Are Dems pushing to abolish sanctuary cities and letting the law do its job? I didn’t think so. Are Dems pushing for stricter rules regarding asylum applications? I didn’t think so. As a matter of fact, the other day I read a quote from one of the Dem talking heads that “asylum is a legal right”.

It’s kind of scary to realize that there are actually people who buy into this nonsense and then go to sites like this to regurgitate it.

      • Cluster January 14, 2019 / 9:51 am

That’s one of the differences between you and me Casper – I watch what people do, not what they say, and Democrats policies over the years of “bring a child and get free entry” has resulted in absolute chaos at the border and now Democrats refuse to do anything about it. That is in effect an open border position. It’s nothing but a raw political play for power on behalf of Democrats and Americans are dying because of it.

I am embarrassed for you that I had to point that out but you should really pay attention a little closer and not just lap up what the left feeds you.

      • casper3031 January 14, 2019 / 10:12 am

Please provide a link to this “bring a child and get free entry” policy you think Democrats have or is it something else you made up? Again, please explain how not paying hundreds of thousands of Americans makes us safer or solves any of the problems you list.

Casper whines Please provide a link to this “bring a child and get free entry” policy.

Here is an article that covers the way being accompanied by a child has allowed entry into the country. Spoiler alert: It has real information in it, not approved by your minders, Casper, so you might want to get permission to read it. And someone to explain it to you.

So a couple of guys got in on a loophole. Why didn’t Republicans change the law? They held both houses of congress for two years. How would a wall stopped them? Why should hundreds of thousands of Americans not get paid because of this? Republicans should be working with Democrats to fix the laws rather than hold American workers hostage.

      • Cluster January 14, 2019 / 12:37 pm

So when shown the depth of your stupidity … you change the subject.

        Typical Democrat

      • casper3031 January 14, 2019 / 12:44 pm

You are the one changing the subject. I wanted to know who advocates open borders. Apparently you don’t have an answer. Nor do you have a answer as to why hundreds of thousands of Americans, a third of whom are veterans, aren’t getting paid.

      • Cluster January 14, 2019 / 12:47 pm

The rules of holes Casper ….. learn them

      • Cluster January 14, 2019 / 12:55 pm

And I will note as well that Casper is still much more concerned about Federal Employee paychecks rather than the many Americans who have lost their lives to the border chaos that Democrats have purposely created.

        Let that sink in

      • casper3031 January 14, 2019 / 5:52 pm

“And I will note as well that Casper is still much more concerned about Federal Employee paychecks rather than the many Americans who have lost their lives to the border chaos that Democrats have purposely created.”

I am concerned about hundreds of thousand of my fellow Americans (many of them veterans) not getting paychecks because Trump wants a vanity wall. Show me some data demonstrating that the wall would actually prevent deaths and i might change my mind. For that matter, prove that Democrats purposely created border chaos (you won’t be able to). Trump is making up a crisis and ou are buying into it.

      • Amazona January 15, 2019 / 11:52 am

I wonder if Rush has done a montage on the phrase “vanity wall”. If Casper is using it, and he certainly has repeated it, it must have been fed to him by his minders, and has probably gotten a lot of air time, like the other invented memes distributed by the Left. “Invented crisis” got a lot of distribution by the obedient Complicit Agenda Media, and here it raises its stupid head again, with Cappy parroting Trump is making up a crisis and ou are buying into it.

Yes, there is no crisis due to the porous border. Just look away, people, and ignore the abandoned children on this side of the border, the sex slavery, the human trafficking, the drug trade, the murders, the people dying on the desert after they cross, as well as terrorists intent on destroying America. Just look the other way, like Casper and his kind are instructed to do, because these are not real crises. They are INVENTED crises. They do not exist. Seriously. Just ask your minders. Not there. Imaginary. MANUFACTURED, according to many talking heads parroting the same script.

We are always seeing a theme generated by the Left, fed to its minions and then flooding the nation’s various media, and we are always seeing the mindless parroting it.

“Vanity wall”. Naturally Casper has no concern over the fact that this is silly and meaningless. Actually, silly has a great attraction for Casper. But pull his string and he will chatter on and on, on command.

      • JeremiahTMM January 14, 2019 / 8:05 pm

Thousands of people die every year in America because of deadly drugs being smuggled into the U.S.

Fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, meth amphetamine. Young people just sixteen years old taking heroin laced with fentanyl which is 100 times more mowerful than morphine. Dead in less than thirty minutes.

I’m of the opinion that the drug lords need to be shot. Just shoot them as soon as they are found.

Then we have criminals who come into America and murder innocent people.

It really makes me furious what they are doing to our country, because those illegals don’t to exist on this planet.

What’s even more troubling is that liberals want these people in our country, they want Americans to do, because they are too cowardly to do it themselves. Seriously, nothing but yellow bellied cowards, with every intent to destroy America.

Its so sad to see such beautiful young people people with so much promise, and their entire lives ahead of them get brutally murdered by these foreigners, and others who get ahold of deadly poison they bringing in this country.

It’s rather obvious that we need a wall. And we need it now!

Drug overdoses killed 63,632 Americans in 2016. Nearly two-thirds of these deaths (66%) involved a prescription or illicit opioid. Overdose deaths increased in all categories of drugs examined for men and women, people ages 15 and older, all races and ethnicities, and across all levels of urbanization.
        https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2018/p0329-drug-overdose-deaths.html

Illicit opiod. The majority of which, comes to America through the U.S. – Mexico border.

Now just think about that, in 2016 alone, over 62,000 people died starting from age 15 and up.

Can’t we do something about that?

      • Amazona January 15, 2019 / 11:48 am

Jeremiah, the Left does not care about drug overdoses, or gang violence, or sex trafficking and slavery. The Left does not care about these things because they would require careful and objective analysis of the core sources of the problems and then call for action, and the actions necessary would step on too many Liberal toes.

The Left is all about superficiality, about finding or inventing the kinds of silly simplistic things that its base can understand and react to. So we have people hyperventilating about posed photos of children allegedly “ripped from the arms of their loving parents” and we have mobs of freakishly hysterical women marching “for” what they already have but loving the chance to show how intelligent and advanced they are by howling the F-bomb at top volume while dressed as genitals.

Nor do you have a answer as to why hundreds of thousands of Americans, a third of whom are veterans, aren’t getting paid.

Just think of it as funemployment. You remember that don’t you? The term Nancy Pelosi used to describe the millions of Americans who lost their jobs from 2007 to 2009. Those were real Americans whose taxes paid the salaries of the government employees you seem to be so concerned about.

      • Amazona January 15, 2019 / 11:43 am

I see Cappy really really likes this “veteran” meme. He sure hangs onto it and sticks it in his comments at every opportunity. He is such an obedient little meat puppet of the Left, you can almost see the hand stuck up his backside moving his mouth for him.

      • casper3031 January 15, 2019 / 8:02 am

Spook, Interesting that you bring up the Bush Recession. That said, I’m not surprised that you don’t consider veterans or members of the Coast Guard as “Real Americans” even though they also pay taxes and are on the front lines for stopping the flow of drugs and illegal immigrants coming into our country. Next time you fly, be sure and tell the unpaid military veteran TSA agents who are trying to protect us that you don’t consider them “Real Americans”.

      • Amazona January 15, 2019 / 11:42 am

Casper is now in the heart of LibLand and therefore more exposed to the debate tactics of the Hard Left. He is dragging them out in this thread, one after another, like a good little foot soldier. Here is an example: I’m not surprised that you don’t consider veterans or members of the Coast Guard as “Real Americans” even though they also pay taxes and are on the front lines for stopping the flow of drugs and illegal immigrants coming into our country.

You see, the minders of the Left have latched onto the idea that suddenly being wildly supportive of the military and all veterans is a way to get people to back their anti-border security move. So suddenly we are seeing obedient little meat puppets like Casper repeating what they are told, bemoaning the lack of respect for “veterans or members of the Coast Guard” (as well as lying about how Cluster identified them, but then lying is SUCH a major component of Leftist dialogue) and even inserting the comment about “military veteran TSA ” agents.

Now that he is lodged in the bosom of radical Leftism, he is really blossoming into quite the mouthpiece of Leftist cant. I imagine he is really proud of this little snot-nugget: Next time you fly, be sure and tell the unpaid military veteran TSA agents who are trying to protect us that you don’t consider them “Real Americans”.

He might not be Pajama Boy, tucked into his onesie in Mommy’s basement bravely hurling invective out into the world from the safety of anonymity and parental protection, but he is what a Pajama Boy grows up to be. He has found his kind (unlike the unwelcoming conservative atmosphere of Wyoming) and is flaunting the confidence that comes with being part of the collective and having narratives fed to him.

I will Casper. And I will tell them not to vote for Democrats

  2. Cluster January 14, 2019 / 8:45 am

The Democrat primary will be a clown show. Primarily because Democrats see POTUS now as a trophy handed out to the person or transgender who panders to the right identity groups and blames the right people (think: Obama) …. also no experience is necessary. George Soros provides on the job training. As a consequence we will have such intellectual hefts as Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren Julian Castro (he has the right last name), and Bernie Sanders vying to be the leader of the social millennial democrats who have all the answers.

Honestly Democrats won’t be happy until illegal aliens can come here en masse and kill Americans with impunity, until we all ride bicycles, are paid the same, have a piece of paper that allows us to get checked for the flu, use any restroom we want, and defer to the person next to us depending on their position in newly created identity hierarchy. Should be fun

Not surprised you don’t care about your fellow Americans, even the veterans. Of course, neither does you God-King. Which is why his approval ratings are tanking. Fortunately most real Americans care about their fellow Americans regardless of political orientation.

      • Amazona January 16, 2019 / 10:18 am

Clearly Casper has fallen off the Left edge of sanity. “God-King”? Poor old sap.

When you subscribe to a political system solely because it appeals to you emotionally, and when you become deeply infatuated with its leaders, I guess it is natural for you to assume that everyone else operates on the same superficial level of decision-making. So because the last Dem president was, in the eyes of His supporters, a true “God-King” who represented such deep emotional gratification, those who worshiped at His altar—-who wore ties emblazoned with His glowing and beneficent face, who swooned when allowed in His presence, who deified Him in every way—have to believe that we on the Right are equally silly, equally foolish, and equally desperate for a political Savior to adore and bow down to.

THE ONE WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR gushed the Left, lining up merely for the chance of being in His presence. He, and He alone, with His pen and His phone, had arrived to save us all.

But on the Right, we dislike and distrust the entire concept of anointing any person as the ultimate authority. The Right represents the mindset that rejected monarchies and Central Authorities, and established a bold new concept of government in which the PEOPLE are the authority.

Sadly, there are remnants of the old feudal mindset, seeking a daddy figure to rule them, who believe (as Thomas Sowell wrote in Conflict of Visions) that there are some people who are just so special, so wonderful, so talented, so superior, that they should be given great power and the ability to rule us all. They yearn for that figure of perfect authority, and simply cannot grasp the fact that so many of us reject the entire concept.

None of us wanted a God-King. We simply wanted a Chief Executive Officer. As I have said, I didn’t want to date Donald Trump, I wanted to hire him. But this entire concept is so alien to those uncomfortable outside the scope of Central Authority and worshiped leader that they just can’t wrap their pointy little heads around it.

That would be OK, if this mindset was not also so darned nasty. If they were just meek and mild, quietly wishing for a tyrant to take over for their thinking and make all their decisions for them, it would be one thing. But for some reason this group is also quite malignant in nature, hostile and furious and hate-driven and spiteful. Evidently the same mindset that yearns for an authoritative figure to take over for them also believes that anyone who rejects the yoke and the master is morally deficient, evil, and deserving of the nastiest invective. Their minders have instilled in them the idea that subservience to a powerful Central Authority conveys with it so much moral superiority that it demands constant scolding and denigration of those who don’t want to get in line with their hands out, waiting obediently for what the State deigns to give them.

Hey good news Casper … you don’t have to worry about “toxic masculinity”

One of the manliest brands in men’s products has hit on an unusual strategy for divided times: Questioning “toxic masculinity.”

Gillette, the Procter & Gamble Co. brand that for three decades has used the tagline, “The Best A Man Can Get,” is building a new campaign around the #MeToo movement, a risky approach that will be the latest test of how successfully big consumer brands can navigate tricky social movements.

Your pony tail, soft voice and limp wrist is exactly what millennial women want.

“Your pony tail, soft voice and limp wrist is exactly what millennial women want.”

Miillennial women are a little young for me.I don’t seem to have trouble finding women my own age who appreciate a nice guy, even if I don’t have a ponytail. Interesting. I tried Match.com for a while (not my preferred method of meeting women). About 80 percent of the women said not to contact them if you are a Trump supporter.

      • Amazona January 16, 2019 / 10:26 am

So Cappy is on the prowl, looking for a woman, and in his hunting ground of the Left Coast is, as he engages in the modern version of writing his name and number on a bathroom wall, running into other Lefties. What a surprise!

In Salt Lake City, he might encounter something like 80 per cent of the women on the site saying not to contact them if you are not LDS.

But hey, let’s not let a little reality shine any light into Casper’s happy little life. He is where he belongs, in the Granola Land of fruits and nuts and flakes, and people in the real world are quite happy to see him go. Fortunately for him, the females he is likely to encounter will be quite happy that he isn’t exhibiting any of that toxic masculinity.

      • Amazona January 16, 2019 / 6:25 pm

Cappy seems quite impressed that, according to him, “about 80 percent” of women looking to hook up on Match.com say not to contact them if you are a Trump supporter.

That is to say, according to him (known to be an unreliable source on anything) 8 out of 10 Left Coast women have no interest in meeting anyone who is not also locked into blind hatred of a man instead of wanting to base his political decisions on things like facts and policies and the success rate of the two main competing political philosophies. And he seems to find this acceptable. It looks like he has finally found a place where he fits in.

So 8 out of 10 mindless Liberals don’t want to meet any men who are not also mindless Liberals. Wow. Stunning.

He and his dependence on polls remind me of the old Chun King commercial.

One Chun King commercial developed by comedian Stan Freberg featured an announcer claiming “Nine out of ten doctors recommend Chun King chow mein” while the camera panned to show ten smiling doctors in white coats, nine of them Chinese.

Of course, in those days even the average TV viewer was smart enough to see the humor in this, while today a Leftist would take it at face value and cite it in arguments.

  5. Cluster January 15, 2019 / 9:12 am

A MUST read and a great argument to keep the government closed up ….

On an average day, roughly 15 percent of the employees around me are exceptional patriots serving their country. I wish I could give competitive salaries to them and no one else. But 80 percent feel no pressure to produce results. If they don’t feel like doing what they are told, they don’t.

Why would they? We can’t fire them. They avoid attention, plan their weekend, schedule vacation, their second job, their next position — some do this in the same position for more than a decade.
