The most important thing about this is that Debra Messing eventually agreed to lie – she knows full well that only women have vaginas, but because ideology trumps all, she agreed to lie and say otherwise. Right now and for a very long time, the most subversive thing anyone can do is speak the truth.
Hate crimes do happen – but often the most egregious get little national reporting because they don’t fit the Narrative. Legal Insurrection has the story of a stroller belonging to an Orthodox Jewish woman being kicked in Brooklyn. This is the most vile sort of Sturmabteilung action…and the left is consenting to it by silence.

I think once the full scope of this abuse of power is exposed, this will be the biggest political scandal in our nations history. The Deep State, in collusion with Democrats, sought to influence the 2016 POTUS election by maliciously sabotaging one of the candidates, and then when that didn’t work, they quickly went into cover up mode by concocting the collusion narrative and rushing to exonerate their preferred candidate. And the complicit media plays right along.

The problem, as I see it, is that over half the Republicans in Congress really don’t want to rock the boat, and they certainly don’t want to get their Donkey masters in trouble. They all have essentially the same basic agenda — bigger, more powerful, more intrusive central government.
This criticism from a couple threads back that Conservatives completely abandoned their moral and ethical principles to vote for Trump has really stuck in my craw. I know — I should consider the source and forget it, but it’s a tactic that needs to be shoveled into the trash once and for all. So I’m genuinely curious if others see Trump the way I do.
I can’t say that I was ever a NEVER Trumper, but I was certainly anti-Trump during the primaries, at least up until the point that Cruz dropped out. Even when Trump had secured the nomination, my attitude was, I can’t believe this bozo is our nominee. But at the same time, it was clear to me that, with all Trump’s warts, Hillary would be worse — much worse. By the time the election rolled around, I still held my nose to pull the lever for Trump. Then, following his inauguration he began actually keeping his promises, or at least trying to within the confines of the withering opposition by Democrats, the media, and even a not insignificant number from his own party. I still didn’t particularly like the guy — he says and tweets things that make me cringe, but I came to view him as something of a lifesaver — for the country. If I were drowning, and a guy was standing on the shore with a life ring, my first thought wouldn’t be to ask him if he cheated on his wife or if he was always ethical in business. That’s the way I look at Trump.
But Spook, you have to realize that the Dems are setting an example of ethics and integrity in politics. Why, just look at the withering scolding of Omar by Nancy Pelosi for openly supporting the 21st Century, Palestinian, version of the Final Solution, and the unified message from the party that they condemn the very idea of a member of Congress, from their own party, making anti-Semitic comments.
And then there is the outrage—-OUTRAGE !!! I tell you!!!—from the party after it learned of the multiple campaign finance laws broken by Ocasio-Cortez and her top aide:

I see that progressives are now “outraged” over capitalism and the prospect of private enterprise monopolies, as expressed by resident repentant Native American Elizabeth Warren. She has called out the social media giants and their “undue influence” on the marketplace. Ironic isn’t it?
Tell me Elizabeth … what’s the difference between a private enterprise monopoly and a one party government?

I see that economics degreed AOC is declaring that capitalism is a political ideology, when in fact it is an economic model. I wonder when her college is going to demand its degree back. I would kind of like to see a copy of that degree, to see if it has an asterisk anywhere on it, to indicate it is really just a Participation Trophy, though I would think even sporadic attendance would have covered the basics of the different ECONOMIC models.

Those on the Left are used to having the power and authority of the State behind them, and they are flustered and bewildered to learn that this can go both ways.
This also plays into my theme of wanting the oath of office to be both mandatory and binding. We can sue media people for malicious mischief, but judges are still pretty untouchable and local and state officials are pretty protected. I guarantee that if a judge has a legal binding employment contract, which is what a binding oath of office would be, he or she would think twice about issuing unconstitutional rulings and decrees. Now the worst that can happen is that the ruling is overturned, but in the meantime the damage has been done and the judge has had time to issue more similar rulings.
Yep – that is the way to do it; make them pay…and Trump is busily making the Courts ever more friendly to our side.
Someone else that should sue is Candace Cameron Bure against the Associate Press. The AP has a photo of Lori Loughlin flanked by Cameron Bure and another actress that I don’t recognize (not Felicity Huffman) up on my home page today with the headline “Shocking charges shatter actresses’ clean images.” Candace Cameron Bure is not mentioned in the article, and a Google search doesn’t bring up anything that connects her to the scandal.
They are in the process of committing political suicide. Let’s get out of their way and cheer them on.

I absolutely agree. Communism is such a deadly philosophy, it or socialism is no good for society. The Democrats changed the name to “progressivism” to make it sound more appealing to the newer generations, detailing all of its supposed “benefits.” But, neglecting to inform their students of its true nature, and the trail of genocide of whole societies worldwide. No, to them it is the “best” form of “governing,” and Christians are “bad,” “capitalism is a failure,” because they don’t want to work, so everyone has to be brought down to their level of ineptitude, the Constitution is “outdated,” so it must go, Conseratives are bad…”they’re racist, homophobic, bible-thumping, gun-toting bigots.”
Everything that they oppose, and everything we stand for shows the side that hates America. And it’s not Constitutional Republic Conservatives.
America can’t continue like it is, with those who love America, and see it as the greatest country on earth…And then those who hate America and see it as a bad nation. Communism is going to have to be exterminated, bar none. Consider it 100% relevant today. It almost eerily describes modern leftists. Kipling and CS Lewis had some serious insight into the workings of the human mind.

Jared and Ivanka, particularly Ivanka, are Democrats. Ivanka has been pushing her dad left on a lot of social issues and she is the least ideological person in the White House.

He’s absurdly claiming he was saying those things because he was pretending to be Conservative! But, no matter: it is starting to teach them a lesson. Everyone has some stuff in the past they’d rather not have dredged up. Long time readers here know my rule: if he ain’t doing it today and/or it happened more than 7 years ago, it is irrelevant. But if the Left wants to keep at this, they should be careful: they’ve got skeletons, too.

I doubt that one in a hundred climate change alarmists realizes the consequences of a couple degree drop in global temperatures vs. a couple degree rise. I got in a discussion at the Y (I run into lots of interesting people at the Y) a while back with a guy who is normally fairly conservative, but he buys into the climate change hooey. His question to me was, what if you’re wrong, and we wait till it’s too late. I answered his question with a question: what if we don’t wait, you succeed in lowering the global temperature, but you lower it too far? I got this deer-in-the-headlights look, and he just didn’t have an answer. I told him to go study up a bit on historical periods of both warming and cooling and see which was worse for civilization. We changed the time of day we go to the Y from mid morning to early afternoon shortly after that, and I haven’t run into him since.
