Something I saw from Mollie Hemingway on Twitter:

Following an internet struggle session, Debra Messing apologizes profusely to men who identify as women for promoting the idea that women have vaginas. “I am so so sorry. Thank you for righting my wrong.”

The most important thing about this is that Debra Messing eventually agreed to lie – she knows full well that only women have vaginas, but because ideology trumps all, she agreed to lie and say otherwise. Right now and for a very long time, the most subversive thing anyone can do is speak the truth.

Hate crimes do happen – but often the most egregious get little national reporting because they don’t fit the Narrative. Legal Insurrection has the story of a stroller belonging to an Orthodox Jewish woman being kicked in Brooklyn. This is the most vile sort of Sturmabteilung action…and the left is consenting to it by silence.

White House is mulling a move to put colleges on the hook for defaulted student loans. Good. Way past time.

Baltimore just goes from bad to worse – because the Democrats are deliberately and maliciously imposing policies to make it go from bad to worse. We really have to start campaigning by definitively accusing the Democrats of being evil. No more allowing them to pretend they aren’t responsible when places they’ve governed for decades go to heck in a handbasket.

Rich people are bribing prestige colleges to get their kids admitted. But, our moral superiors, y’all.

RSM points out that it is the Democrats who have a race problem. It does make sense, guys: remember, we’re still about 70% white as a nation…and if Democrats can’t
crack 40% of the white vote, they aren’t really going places. And if they drop below 30%?

Another bit of nitwittery from the YCMTSU file.

The air that Americans breathe isn’t equal.

Blacks and Hispanics disproportionately breathe air that’s been polluted by non-Hispanic whites, according to a study. This new research quantifies for the first time the racial gap between who causes air pollution – and who breathes it.

    • JeremiahTMM March 12, 2019 / 7:14 pm

Still more, they’re going to change National Women’s day to “Still Not Equal” day.

    • M. Noonan March 12, 2019 / 9:39 pm

They just search for grievance angles and use them to inflame tensions. Idiots! They don’t seem to realize that if they put people back against the wall, they will fight back.

That the Left continues on and on with this racist line of thought shows that they want keep racism alive based primarily on the fact that it’s not about race at all, because the majority of those who are crying racism are white, leftist communists, so they use racism as their platform to showcase their hatred for Christianity, Conservatives, the bourgeois, the nuclear family, and marriage. Anybody who has not been a product of the public educational system (like occasionally Cortez) can see that they are wicked people

    • Cluster March 13, 2019 / 9:25 am

America is not nearly as racist as Democrats want it to be so they keep it alive. The problem is …. if everything is racist, nothing is racist.

      • JeremiahTMM March 13, 2019 / 11:47 pm

Exactly my point! They use the racism card to get what they want. And quite frankly, I’m sick to the gills of hearing this claim of “racism.”

        I mean everything …

If you support President Trump you’re a “racist.”

If you wear a MAGA hat, “Oh you’re a racist, racist.”

        If you have a bumper sticker “you’re a racist, you’re a racist.”

If you say excuse me “you’re a racist, you’re a racist”

If you look at someone the wrong way “you’re a racist, you’re a racist, you’re a racist.”

If you fly the American flag ” you’re a racist, you’re a racist, racist, racist.”

I get so sick of it…You can’t even move, or say anything without being slandered with the word racist.

And to say that the air we breathe is “not equal” is so absurdly over the top.

As long as the Communist left remains living, breathing beings they will continue their destruction upon America, and it will ultimately come to that if they are not stopped.

“Conservative” Max Boot joins the howling politically correct mobs to try and silence yet another voice:

Tucker Carlson, by contrast, has not even been publicly reprimanded by his superiors at Fox News after the liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America unearthed his vocal support for a child rapist — among many other sick statements he made between 2006 and 2011 during conversations with a radio shock jock who calls himself “Bubba the Love Sponge.”

The leftist mob demands sacrifice if you fall outside their definition of accepted speech, and “conservatives” who seek their approval behave accordingly.

The college scandal is a real world example of progressive “white” privilege. The sense of entitlement is off the charts and the disregard for others is shameless. There are a finite number of sports scholarships and when “Suzy celebrity” is admitted through one, that means one hard working athlete misses out. This in fact is a zero sum game and progressives need to be called out for their hypocrisy ….. ONCE AGAIN

  4. Cluster March 13, 2019 / 9:39 am

Lisa Page’s testimony was made public yesterday:

I think once the full scope of this abuse of power is exposed, this will be the biggest political scandal in our nations history. The Deep State, in collusion with Democrats, sought to influence the 2016 POTUS election by maliciously sabotaging one of the candidates, and then when that didn’t work, they quickly went into cover up mode by concocting the collusion narrative and rushing to exonerate their preferred candidate. And the complicit media plays right along.

The problem, as I see it, is that over half the Republicans in Congress really don’t want to rock the boat, and they certainly don’t want to get their Donkey masters in trouble. They all have essentially the same basic agenda — bigger, more powerful, more intrusive central government.

This criticism from a couple threads back that Conservatives completely abandoned their moral and ethical principles to vote for Trump has really stuck in my craw. I know — I should consider the source and forget it, but it’s a tactic that needs to be shoveled into the trash once and for all. So I’m genuinely curious if others see Trump the way I do.

I can’t say that I was ever a NEVER Trumper, but I was certainly anti-Trump during the primaries, at least up until the point that Cruz dropped out. Even when Trump had secured the nomination, my attitude was, I can’t believe this bozo is our nominee. But at the same time, it was clear to me that, with all Trump’s warts, Hillary would be worse — much worse. By the time the election rolled around, I still held my nose to pull the lever for Trump. Then, following his inauguration he began actually keeping his promises, or at least trying to within the confines of the withering opposition by Democrats, the media, and even a not insignificant number from his own party. I still didn’t particularly like the guy — he says and tweets things that make me cringe, but I came to view him as something of a lifesaver — for the country. If I were drowning, and a guy was standing on the shore with a life ring, my first thought wouldn’t be to ask him if he cheated on his wife or if he was always ethical in business. That’s the way I look at Trump.

    • Amazona March 13, 2019 / 11:05 am

But Spook, you have to realize that the Dems are setting an example of ethics and integrity in politics. Why, just look at the withering scolding of Omar by Nancy Pelosi for openly supporting the 21st Century, Palestinian, version of the Final Solution, and the unified message from the party that they condemn the very idea of a member of Congress, from their own party, making anti-Semitic comments.

And then there is the outrage—-OUTRAGE !!! I tell you!!!—from the party after it learned of the multiple campaign finance laws broken by Ocasio-Cortez and her top aide:

I am seriously impressed. //sarc off

    • Cluster March 13, 2019 / 12:14 pm

I watched a little bit of her line of questioning and it was embarrassing. AOC is out of her depth.

I see that progressives are now “outraged” over capitalism and the prospect of private enterprise monopolies, as expressed by resident repentant Native American Elizabeth Warren. She has called out the social media giants and their “undue influence” on the marketplace. Ironic isn’t it?

Tell me Elizabeth … what’s the difference between a private enterprise monopoly and a one party government?

      • Amazona March 13, 2019 / 4:34 pm

When the Complicit Agenda Media are promoting Liberal causes and people all that influence is just fine, but the few times they fail to do so, and sting a Lib or favor a Conservative, they are exercising “undue influence” and we all know what should happen to any voice irritating the Thought Police—-IT MUST BE SILENCED

  6. Amazona March 13, 2019 / 11:41 am

Maybe Conservatives need our own anthem. I would suggest borrowing from the British national anthem:

Lord, our God, arise / Scatter thine enemies, / And make them fall / Confound their politics, / Frustrate their knavish tricks, / On thee our hopes we fix: God save us all.

Confound their politics and frustrate their knavish tricks–sounds like a plan to me

    • Amazona March 13, 2019 / 1:53 pm

I see that economics degreed AOC is declaring that capitalism is a political ideology, when in fact it is an economic model. I wonder when her college is going to demand its degree back. I would kind of like to see a copy of that degree, to see if it has an asterisk anywhere on it, to indicate it is really just a Participation Trophy, though I would think even sporadic attendance would have covered the basics of the different ECONOMIC models.

      • Retired Spook March 13, 2019 / 2:41 pm

Conversely, AOC’s parents should ask for their money back.

  7. Amazona March 13, 2019 / 2:02 pm

Lest anyone think those on the Left are silly, vapid, vacuous, foolish or simply downright stupid, I offer this—not to contradict that impression, but to support it:

I also think it points out how so many arguments are taken, by the Left, directly to the crotch. We talk about the sanctity of human life, they focus on genitals.

    • Cluster March 13, 2019 / 5:09 pm

      From the article:

Men would also be forced to begin paying child support before a woman reaches eight weeks in pregnancy.

Why? Doesn’t a man get to choose? I thought Democrats were pro choice.

  8. Cluster March 13, 2019 / 3:05 pm

    We need more of this:

Financial adviser Ed Butowsky is suing Anderson Cooper, The New York Times and The Democratic National Committee for allegedly peddling ‘fake news’ about his involvement in Donald Trump’s alleged Russian collusion to win him the presidency.

In the lawsuit exclusively obtained by, Butowsky claims he and his family have been the victims of death threats, rocks were thrown in his windows and he lost a third of his business clients after ‘left-wing extremists’ engaged in a ‘smear campaign’ against him.

Sue them first into submission, then into extinction.

    • Amazona March 13, 2019 / 4:39 pm

Those on the Left are used to having the power and authority of the State behind them, and they are flustered and bewildered to learn that this can go both ways.

This also plays into my theme of wanting the oath of office to be both mandatory and binding. We can sue media people for malicious mischief, but judges are still pretty untouchable and local and state officials are pretty protected. I guarantee that if a judge has a legal binding employment contract, which is what a binding oath of office would be, he or she would think twice about issuing unconstitutional rulings and decrees. Now the worst that can happen is that the ruling is overturned, but in the meantime the damage has been done and the judge has had time to issue more similar rulings.

    • M. Noonan March 13, 2019 / 5:01 pm

Yep – that is the way to do it; make them pay…and Trump is busily making the Courts ever more friendly to our side.

  9. Retired Spook March 13, 2019 / 3:30 pm

Someone else that should sue is Candace Cameron Bure against the Associate Press. The AP has a photo of Lori Loughlin flanked by Cameron Bure and another actress that I don’t recognize (not Felicity Huffman) up on my home page today with the headline “Shocking charges shatter actresses’ clean images.” Candace Cameron Bure is not mentioned in the article, and a Google search doesn’t bring up anything that connects her to the scandal.

They are in the process of committing political suicide. Let’s get out of their way and cheer them on.

During his 3:00 p.m. ET hour show Tuesday afternoon, MSNBC anchor Ali Velshi welcomed Dutch journalist and author Rutger Bregman on the program to demand that the Democratic Party move farther left and embrace European-style socialism. Not only did Velshi lob softballs, the host eagerly sought advice from Bregman on how such radical views could be made “mainstream” in the U.S.

Our problem there was that we stopped on the Elbe in 1945 when we should have pushed on to the Volga. Letting a commie remain means you’ll eventually get more commies.

      • JeremiahTMM March 14, 2019 / 9:03 pm

I absolutely agree. Communism is such a deadly philosophy, it or socialism is no good for society. The Democrats changed the name to “progressivism” to make it sound more appealing to the newer generations, detailing all of its supposed “benefits.” But, neglecting to inform their students of its true nature, and the trail of genocide of whole societies worldwide. No, to them it is the “best” form of “governing,” and Christians are “bad,” “capitalism is a failure,” because they don’t want to work, so everyone has to be brought down to their level of ineptitude, the Constitution is “outdated,” so it must go, Conseratives are bad…”they’re racist, homophobic, bible-thumping, gun-toting bigots.”

Everything that they oppose, and everything we stand for shows the side that hates America. And it’s not Constitutional Republic Conservatives.

America can’t continue like it is, with those who love America, and see it as the greatest country on earth…And then those who hate America and see it as a bad nation. Communism is going to have to be exterminated, bar none. Either the left concedes that Christianity is the best most tolerant, most loving, the only truth there is in the world, that capitalism is the best economic platform for America, that the Constitution is the only Supreme law of the land, and that tyranny has no place in this country.

Either they do that, or they’re going to leave here, one way or another, they’re gonna leave here.

Being a modern leftist means agreeing to lie to oneself and defend that lie against all comers. At its core it’s the idea of subjective reality or that ‘wishing makes it so’ and that the Gods of the Copybook headings can be ignored in favor of the Gods of the Marketplace.

    • Retired Spook March 14, 2019 / 9:04 am

that the Gods of the Copybook headings can be ignored in favor of the Gods of the Marketplace

Great poem — as timely as when Kipling write it 100 years ago this year.

      • Ryan Murphy March 14, 2019 / 3:22 pm

Consider it 100% relevant today. It almost eerily describes modern leftists. Kipling and CS Lewis had some serious insight into the workings of the human mind.

      • Retired Spook March 14, 2019 / 3:43 pm

It’s also a reflection of, to paraphrase an old saying, how little new there is under the sun. Leftists just keep recycling the same old crap, constantly modifying the language to make ideas that have never worked seem new and fresh.

Interesting post by Kurt Schlichter lamenting how Nikki Haley is ruining her chances to be President. I commented that she is not a natural born citizen (and explained why) and can’t legally be President, and they immediately deleted my comment.

    • M. Noonan March 14, 2019 / 1:01 pm

You and Amazona are going to be a Minority of Two on that…but, keep up the good fight!

Aside from that, she is getting a GOPe vibe about herself. Don’t know why: she’s smart enough to realize that if she becomes Female Trump, she’ll get all Trump’s positives and none of his negatives.

      • Retired Spook March 14, 2019 / 1:41 pm

I suspect you’re right. I don’t have a problem with amending the Constitution to either define natural born citizen once and for all, or change the wording to native born citizen. Simply ignoring the discrepancy while claiming to be for the rule of law is just a chicken-sh*t cop out.

  15. Cluster March 14, 2019 / 11:59 am

CNN political commentator Paul Begala called Mr. and Mrs. Kushner “cockroaches” and backhandedly referred to President Trump as a “criminal.”

Jared and Ivanka, particularly Ivanka, are Democrats. Ivanka has been pushing her dad left on a lot of social issues and she is the least ideological person in the White House.

This just goes to show you how unhinged progressives are about all things Trump. I have never seen anything quite like it.

  16. Retired Spook March 14, 2019 / 12:27 pm

I don’t think Derek Hunter will get much argument from the Conservatives on this blog. His post could have been written by Cluster.

They’ve gone after Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, etc. You name the person on the right, this army of flying monkeys has been unleashed on them, multiple times.

Each time they are unleashed, damage is done. But no price is extracted for that damage. Conservatives never return the favor of dragging old quotes or actions into the light, they almost uniformly refuse to call for boycotts. They prefer to “take the high road.” What good is the high road if it leads to defeat? Moral victories are just a polite way to justify losing.

Liberals collect scalps, conservatives collect moral victories. This isn’t a battle for local dog catcher, it’s a fight for the future of the country; it’s time for the right to fight back the way they’re being attacked. Mutually assured destruction is the only way to stop these fascists in their tracks.

It can’t be a shotgun approach of refusing to watch CNN, no one watches CNN now. We have to pick our target carefully – one show, on one network, with one host who lies and smears people for thinking differently. That can be any of them, honestly, but everyone has to be on the same page.

    • M. Noonan March 14, 2019 / 1:00 pm

Some people on the right are doing that – for instance, the old, nasty comments of a Media Matters honcho have just been dredged up. He’s absurdly claiming he was saying those things because he was pretending to be Conservative! But, no matter: it is starting to teach them a lesson. Everyone has some stuff in the past they’d rather not have dredged up. Long time readers here know my rule: if he ain’t doing it today and/or it happened more than 7 years ago, it is irrelevant. But if the Left wants to keep at this, they should be careful: they’ve got skeletons, too.

I doubt that one in a hundred climate change alarmists realizes the consequences of a couple degree drop in global temperatures vs. a couple degree rise. I got in a discussion at the Y (I run into lots of interesting people at the Y) a while back with a guy who is normally fairly conservative, but he buys into the climate change hooey. His question to me was, what if you’re wrong, and we wait till it’s too late. I answered his question with a question: what if we don’t wait, you succeed in lowering the global temperature, but you lower it too far? I got this deer-in-the-headlights look, and he just didn’t have an answer. I told him to go study up a bit on historical periods of both warming and cooling and see which was worse for civilization. We changed the time of day we go to the Y from mid morning to early afternoon shortly after that, and I haven’t run into him since.
